Tony Astaroth let out a sigh as he hung the phone up, slowly lowering his hands to his lap before folding them. He spoke not a word, forcing Gracie to sit in unbearable silence. He finally spoke up causing the 17 year old to jump a bit, keeping her light blue gaze locked on the floor.

“I have to go through Hell for you now…and you are DAMN lucky that Leo is a good friend of mine or else you’d be in some trouble..” His voice was cold and loud…but soon faded as he stood up and walked over to his daughter, wrapping her up in his arms. “Ariana…I couldn’t live with myself if something happened to you. Now I assume I need to go apologize personally to this serial killer that you ratted out…you stay here I don’t want him seeing you.”

Gracie nodded, she knew her Father was emotional when he used her real name, it never failed. She felt bad, she owed her life to him and her Father’s business…as unlawful as it was these people did take care of each other. They had to, nobody else would have their backs.

Tony left the room and walked down the hallway, pulling a couple men to the side. He pointed to the safe and muttered a couple things. Soon enough they had $1,000,000 in a briefcase. It was quite a dent in Tony’s funds, but he figured it best to “encourage” the man to forget this whole incident.

The two were instructed to get that to the man quickly, telling them exactly he would be going. Before they left Tony also handed them an envelope “Now you make sure that gets to Leo…and tell him ‘Thanks’ for me…” The two nodded and ran off, leaving Tony with a bit of a smirk on his face. In the envelope held quite a series of documents that would get the higher up in the police force in quite a bit of trouble if they were to say…come out. Leo would indeed have the leverage he needed to keep the cops from poking around him or his friend anymore.

“Now…we will take our sweet time my Dear…but I do believe now you need to meet the people you have messed with. They cannot harm your with me around…but I feel it necessary to make sure a lesson is learned…” With that he took a hold of his daughter’s wrist and dragged her out to a waiting limo. They followed far behind the others giving his men enough time to deliver the goods which he hoped would calm the tempers before his arrival.
