Whisper (Jacquelyn Rose) felt the rest of the room cut off from her as the circle activated and the mages began their spells. It was a notable relief to her, and though she still had the minds of the mages within the circle to contend with, they were disciplined and powerful individuals, those that couldn't keep her out altogether were single mindedly focused into the ritual, and they were more of a dull humming in the back of her mind rather than the crushing onslaught of chaos.

Though her body was still wracked with pain, the magically charged air seemed to sooth her into a deep slumber, unaware of the danger outside. Though she rested it was still quite apparent that she was far from well. Her skin was pasty and pale, covered in a thin sheen of sweat and her lips were stained with blood.
