Gamble furrowed his brow slightly, doubt and suspicion crossing his eyes as he regarded the demon. Were they talking about it? Surely the point was the scar? Or were the two linked? He mentally cursed as he found himself loosing track of what he had intended to say, frown deepening as he realised this. "Darius..." he said, unsure what else he was planning to say, and so he lapsed into silence as a man was placed atop his knee which twitched slightly.
His eyes widened slightly at Darius' next words, shaking his head quickly. "No, no of course you're not... Making me uncomfortable... I just feel like... Like you're..." He trailed off for a moment before he blinked quickly and tilted his head upward to break the eye contact.
"I just feel like you're avoiding the issue." He said quickly, words running into each other in his determination to get them out. 'Focus, Virgil. Focus!'
