Hitomi dropped the supplies on Kai's desk and glared intently at him. "Put your shades back on. Your black eye is showing." Kai scrambled to throw his shades back onto his face and finally began his work. Then Kai remembered I'm too cool to do schoolwork!Kai took a glance out the window and saw some guy who looked like he was late to school, but over 30minutes late? And to be that late without a parent would be useless to him. Kai was curious and suspicious.
"Hitomi, we've got to go." She nodded, stood up and left.
"Ah, where are you going," Kai screamed after her. "I better go get her." Kai hopped up and jumped over several desk until he was in the hallway with Hitomi. They began to run towards the school yard.
