Sitting outside enjoying the sunshine, Kitty could be found, with her laptop open and her ipod in her ears, she was lost to her own world. The school was pretty quiet now as the new school year was just beginning and most of the students haven't made their way to the school yet, unlike her, who always was here it seemed. She was an unassuming person, one lucky enough to look completely normal and definatly un-mutanish, but like all the other kids here she was wary out in the 'real world' where mutant hatred abounded. When she was at home, her parents were always warning her to becareful and wouldn't let her out of their sight. She knew they loved her despite her powers, but still a sixteen year old needed room to breath and she felt like she only got that here at the school. They didn't try to cage or hide her powers but instead gave her the safty to expand and spread her mental wings to fly. Though her parents would be hurt to know the truth, Kitty thought of this place as her home and the people here as her family, even Cyclops. Looking up around the empty grounds she really couldn't wait for this place to fill up with loud voices, she really was a sociable person and eagerly awaited the other students.
