He takes a sip of the whiskey and gags slightly, not being a heavy drinker, but still manages to get it all down.

To his disdain, Irran noticed several people who had been listening to the man's story looking over to the two talking. Apparently, he was speaking to the town hero or something. Being an outsider, he really had no idea what was so important about the guy in front of him, but it was clear being polite was the best course of action for the current situation.

"Name's Jack, by the way, Jack White. This may be silly since I may be the only person in the room who doesn't know, but your name is..?" Irran uses his alias just in case he didn't want to be found later.
