"This was your doing! Why am I like this? Huh! Why me!?" She walked straight up to Vincent and put her face right in the the his face. He stood completely still, "Don't look at me like that! Answer me! Answer me right now!" She started to break down and cry, "I just want to know... what the hell happened to me... please..."
Vincent watched as the poor girl collapsed to her knees and cried. He kept up his serious facade, but still felt compassion for her. He had been through the same few days of pain himself. The transformation from human to demon was brutal. He paid no attention to her accusations, because he knew she was only acting like this out of confusion. He would've acted the same way if he hadn't known he was becoming a demon. The girl was still crying. He sighed softly and bent down to her level, putting his hand gently on her back. He had saved her from certain death. A rabid, starved demon was about to eat her alive, but he stopped it just in time. Her guts had been splayed everywhere, it was almost too late. He didn't know what to do, he couldn't have just left her there. So Vincent mimicked what the demon that turned him did to him years ago. He punched a whole in her chest, lifted out her heart, and bit it. He wasn't sure if that was the only way, but that's how it happened to him and it worked. Of course, Vince didn't do it as violently as it was done to him. He sliced open her skin, making two small flaps that opened into her chest, then removed some of her ribs so he could carefully lift out her heart. He didn't almost devour her heart either, though it was tempting. The most temptation he ever had, in fact. Instead he bit into to it just so that his teeth fully sank in then quickly took them out. After he placed her heart back into her chest, he closed her up, wrapped his jacket around her tightly, and swiftly carried her to his well hidden home. He's been watching over her ever since then. It has been five days total. The girl only woke up and started screaming once out of those five days. He had expected her to do that more.
"You'll be fine, " Vincent assured her softly, "Just rest now. I know this is scary and confusing. I know how you feel. I won't hurt you though, I promise. Can I have your name?"
Lilliana
She collapsed onto her knees and cried into her hands uncontrollably. This demon was of no help to her at the moment. He just stood there and watched her. For a few minutes it looked like he didn't care at all, and that he was in deep thought. Then he knelt down beside her and started comforting her. He looked so kind now, and she saw the unerstanding in his eyes. Lilliana couldn't help but believe him. This demon was actually... sane. He seemd so compassionate. Which was not a normal trait for a demon. However, there was something about him that was distant. Like earlier when he put up an aura of seriousness, acting like he didn't care. Now she knew that he certainly did care, and that he wasn't a horrible beast. Surely he had not done this to her. Right?
Lilliana wiped her eyes and sniffled a few times. She then smiled sincerely at him through bleary eyes, "I-I'm Lilliana, and I believe you. What is your name?"
