Maiko looked up from the files and out the window. Something felt strange...some presence she had suddenly been alerted to. Could it be the LCA?
Outside the window, what appeared to be a man was making his way--right for the cafe she was in. He didn't look to be a civilian either; he had a hardened face, one suited to combat. She felt her 'heart' racing; would the LCA be so bold as to openly attack her here? They may have come to that, but Maiko was not about to take any chances.
Taking the files and slipping them into her coat, her eyes never leaving the man who was making a beeline for the cafe, she walked out the door, and began walking the other way, attempting to look inconspicuous, but glancing back at the man to see if he would follow.
