Vyndran was down in the basment for a while, making a few calls and setting things up. When he came back up to see Alan again there was a smile on his face, which could only mean one thing. There was going to be a fight soon. Alan knew Vyndran loved to fight, espically against the humans, even if he always talked about peace among the land and it's races.
"We're leaving out, wanna come along Alan?" Vyndran asks, walking over and laying his money on the counter before finishing off his brew.
"No, sorry, I gotta get back home, it's gotten late, and the old man will begin wondering where I am..." Alan says with a sigh, laying his money down as well. "But, I'll be back tomorrow so you can tell me about it, what really happened anyway. You know my father, when it goes bad he tries to cover it up..."
The two of them shook hands, clasping each others forearms, then both headed for the door. Alan climbed onto a standard issue military motorcycle with a sidecar, which he'd painted matte black, and donned his helmet. In second the engine revved and he was gone, back down the road towards the small 'all friendly' dock where the ferrymen would give anyone a ride anywhere for the right price.
Vyndran watched his friend go, then sighed as he climbed onto the back of his Hellion, Raze. "Come on boy, we got a long way to go before dawn. The humans will be on their way there already. I just hope the men are in place and ready. Otherwise, we may have to go with Plan B, and just blow the place up with a spell... I'd really hate to lose all those crystals though, and think of the damage it's cause, a huge crater, lots of dead bodies...it's be a big mess..."

At the cave itself the guards were on alert for anything coming into the area of the cave. There were a couple of Natural Elves hidden in trees a few miles out, their pets roaming the ground level. Between those posts and the cave were varying booby traps set up on the spot. Snares, pit falls, those sort of things, and all of them blended in seemlessly because it was all done by natural materials.
Sin'rel, a sort of general among the half-breeds, stood inside the cave, blanding into the shadows thanks to his Hollow Elf mother. In his arms he carried a modified military issue assult rifle, filled with storm spell rounds which would do two things. One, it would be loud as well, and two, aside from the bullets, it would fire static electricity into the air, and anyone who got close enough as it went off would get a shock.
"Everything is in place sir. I don't know of anything else we can do at this point." said one of the younger human rebels, who held a similar weapon. "We aren't prepared for this assult, why not just move the crystals, or go ahead and blow the place?"
With a stern look Sen'rel spoke to the boy, "Do you know how many crystals we have here? Or how many different types os spells are contained with in? There are over five thousand stockpiled in this one cave base. Yes, we are moving some of the rarer one out by boat, north towards the swamps, but even so, we don't have the man power to move them in such a short amount of time. And on top of that, where would we put them?" he went quiet for a moment, allowing this to sink in, then, when he saw the frown, he continued, "And, if we were to blow this place now, none of us would survive. But, if it comes to that, to PLan B, we wait. We await until they get close to the cave, and take out as many of them as possible..."
