"WHAT!?" The surprised screech echoed through the hall. The wide eyed girl starred down at the letter handed to her from her maid in a trance. The old maid cleared an ear with her pinky.
"Lady Amanda... I suggest you keep your voice down, lest you feel like you must awaken all in this wing."
"How could they do this!?" Amanda dropped the letter on the ground in a large crumbled ball. "I-I- This MUST be Mother's idea!"
The head maid picked up some blankets on the ground that the frustrated princess ripped to shreds in a blink of an eye. "Now, now, my lady. Do calm yourself."
"calm? CALM!? The is the LAST thing to BE calm about!" Her ice eyes flarred angrily as she searched once again for something to break.
The maid shook her head, "If you feel this strongly about it, then I think it's best for you to know that your brother is to marry the Versaixt kingdom aswell."
"Leave me." the Demon's aura darkened.
"Yes ma'am." The maid bowed and retreated.
Amanda starred down at the ground, how? How could this happen? She found her eyes glancing to the crumbled paper on the ground. The girl walked over and picked it up. Its writting was from her mother... she must have put quite a bit of thought into it. Amanda bit her lower lip in an attempt to keep herself from losing it. For now, it worked. She dropped the paper again and walked to the glass doors of her balcony. They opened with a creak as the princess walked out into the cool breeze. Should she go through with it? COULD she go through with it was more of the question.
