Sure enough, the rapping of knuckles sounded on Brian's door only a few moments later, and opening the door revealed Anya, greatcoat and all, looking rather dishevelled. "Evening." she said, inclining her head. "Apologies for the inconvenience."
The assassin wove her way past Brian and into the main room of the flat, removing her coat as she did so. The reason for the large piece of covering clothing soon became evident. Beneath it, Anya wore an elegant black dress, silky and extravagantly decorated with silver... and rather less intentionally, an unfortunately large amount of crimson.
The blood was spattered on her torso messily, as well as practically coating the long white glove she wore on her right arm, soaking it. Anya grinned apologetically to Brian. "The bathroom's through here, yes?" she queried, more out of courtesy than anything. She already knew.
And thus, Anya disappeared into the other room and locked it before Brian had a chance to reprimand her in the slightest.
