Taito looked down at Kaito's reply, being unsure whether to regret his choice of staying home, or being glad that he would have his first afternoon in a new place to himself. Looking around his room, he noticed a bowl of fruit had been placed on a kitchen counter for him. Taito rarely ate, but even so, he shrugged to himself and slowly made his way over to the bowl, careful not to trip over his own feet as he often did.

He took a bite out of an apple, at first tasting its sweetness, but then catching a hint of something festered. Pausing for a moment, his face turned slightly paler than usual. He slowly swallowed the part he had bitten out of, and let the rest of the red fruit fall into a trash can before him. Again, he had eaten a rotten fruit. He wondered why he was so unlucky to always eat food that was unnoticeably molded or perished. Whatever he had eaten either looked perfectly ripe and fresh on the outside, but was decaying on the inside, or had the most molecular amount of rancidness that caused it to taste foul.

Kamui Gakupo:

Sitting on a tatami mat placed in the center of his floor, Gakupo began to recite a chant in the most vivid and low-pitched voice to be known from him, about as low as his vocal chords would allow. To him, this sounded beautiful, as it was pertaining to his religion, but to others it may have sounded like some sort of demonic chant, being as low, as bass, and as deep as it was. Whenever he spoke or sang like this, people were surprised, as they had never known Gakupo to have the ability to hit such low notes.
