It was the darkness that she felt. She had been called here absently, for what reason she didn't know. She felt the surge, the momentum of a cursed individual. It was sweet and drawing her closer to his aura, but what would happen now? It was moments before she was talking to her daughter about retreating back to her crypt. She wished to retire, but something was amiss.
Stepping from the darkness in the vacant clearing, the chill of the night grasped onto her like a child. The moon that soared high into the sky welcomed her with its gleaming rays. Hidden beneath an ebony cloak, a hood draped over her face. She stepped forward, the ground itself was cool. She literally felt it through her boots. The peaceful terrain of the naked cliff of the mountain, provided a distinct retreat for the Dark Goddess. There was nobody to bother her, except for this soul that seemed lost in his own defeat.
He didn't understand how to embrace the dark side. It that why she had come here? Because her essence warned her of this individual? It was so simple from her point of view. So easy, but then again, she was a God. Why wouldn't anything seem simple anymore? She was ready to leave this world and step back into the plane. But I guess she did have a purpose after all..she had to help this one. She heard the shadows whisper a name. "Dyne."
His name was Dyne.
