Past Life: Inara grew up with her brother and father. Her father was a mechanic and when she was younger they couldn't afford a babysitter, so he often brought his kids to work and during the slower times at the garage or on breaks, Inara's dad would show her and her brother how to fix most machines as his "garage" specialized in just about every basic machine and not just in vehicles. Her brother and her could only get a high school education as anything higher they couldn't afford, and yes their family might seem very poor to most people looking at their family, but Inara thought they were more about average because they had never starved and they had a comfortable, though cramped, home.

During her time at school Inara had great grades in science and math. She was the poor and smart kid meaning that she did get bullied. Her brother had one day found her getting bullied and pulled her out of that terrifying circle. He taught her to stand up for herself, not necessarily meaning to physically beat back, but also verbally. He taught her a few tricks that would help her and the next time she was bullied she ended up getting a black eye and bloody nose, but also giving a few bruises herself. Thought she still continued to get bullied after that the bullies had always show a little more space between them and her as they had now learned that she wasn't going to back down or get walked on again.

After school ended there wasn't a lot of paths for her to follow; there was helping her brother and father at the garage, she could move out, or she could become a maid at a local hotel not far from where they lived. Inara has always been very ambitious, she's known who she is for a long time, and she's strong and willing to work hard to get what she wants. So she left her home, though . Their home had been on more of the outskirts of the city, where they could live humbly with the amount of money they had rather than live dirt poor in the city, but Inara knew her future would be found in the city. With her science and mathematical brain being praised in school there was one thing that got over looked...her imagination. At home or at the garage, Inara would see those normal house items lying everywhere and could imagine them becoming apart of something knew, using them to create something else and often times she did try with one or two successes. Now in the city she got a small apartment above this old clock shop in a neighborhood that was grungy and one could hardly see the sky; as well as a job and apprenticeship under an inventor who lived poorly but often worked with the rich.

When she turned 23, Inara met someone, she met him at one of her jobs. He was the son a well off, lawyer family. The two became close and they would often times meet each other between the rich and poor parts of the city. Though one thing Inara hadn't expected about her new boyfriend was that he was one to break the rules. He dragged her along to many things getting them both into trouble. He had even convinced her to change her eye color from brown to red, something he paid for as that wasn't the cheapest thing to do. Inara didn't take long after that to break up with him as his little "games" were getting more and more dangerous and more and more illegal, though the change in her eyes that she did was permanent, and a permanent reminder of her love who didn't care.

Past Relationships: Inara's father, Bill, has been an inspiration to her; he's shown her how to love people and how to be kind, he has shown her to mechanics work which in turn because of that she developed her love for inventing, and he has shown her acceptance by leaving his door open to her when she wanted to leave the nest and by hugging her and loving her when she was getting bullied; she loves her father most of all. Then there's her brother, Ciaran (Keer-rin), the person who showed her how to be strong when you don't feel it, who stood by her side when no one else would, and who relentlessly teased her through her childhood; she owes him her strength and her bravery as well as her capacity to take a joke; the only other person whom she loves as much as her father. Next is her employer, Earl Hoffmann, he isn't like family to her nor even a good friend, but he is a friend; the two have spent many late nights together more in comfortable silence while they tinkered than anything else, but Inara holds a great deal of respect for him as he taught her pretty much everything she knows about the business of inventing and inventing itself, tricks of the trade and such. Finally there is Inara's ex-boyfriend, Evan Thompson, a man whom she thinks she really did love, but regrets falling in love with him because of how bad he was; he would take her on these great adventures and never tell them what they were, only to be illegal or dangerous when they get there, and in the end throw her under the bus so he could get away; Inara hates herself for staying with him at all she wishes she would have said no to start or not let it get as far as it had; she is disgusted with him and slightly hates herself because of him.

New Cybernetics: For the experiments they took off her left arm from her elbow to fingers and replaced it with a mechanic arm called leflet made of a new steel called "air steel" (it isn't as strong as adamantium, but is extremely light and flexible meaning it can bend quite a bit without breaking and is better for changing mechanics). They also destroyed her face replacing it with a technology called shiftas, her face is made from a different kind of air steel that's called "photo steel" (meaning it still holds the consistency and movement of air steel, but with the added element that it can mimic textures and colors).

New Abilities: -Leflet arm: With the use of air steel her arm can easily change shapes and what they added underneath were mechanics to four different kinds of guns; meaning she can change her arm from the typical arm shape into a stun gun (stunning victims with with a blast of high pitched sound waves), a sniper (typical aspects of a sniper, but with poisoned needles instead of bullets), an electric gun (in which she can take down her enemies or targets with the use of a blast of electricity used to either stun or kill, a short ranged gun), or lazer gun (uses a lazer that attacks a person's nerves paralyzing the body and shutting the brain down without any external injuries, more of a mid-ranged weapon though if there is a long open area with no obstructions between Morta and her target then it can be considered a long range).

-Shiftas face: With the use of photo steel, a cousin to air steel, this gives Morta the ability to change her face completely; not just with face shape, but color as well and the face she decides to use doesn't have to be human looking either, a common choice for her is a black skull (the first thing she remembers seeing).
