James Tetner and Alice Denair's Story

Valerie had woken up quite early, that was normal for her. She loved being up early. She could get ready, watch the sun rise, chat with a few of her maids and butlers, and be able to say hi to her 3 brothers and two parents; the king and queen.
Valeria sat up and yawned. She scratched her head, her hair sticking out everywhere. She walked into the bathroom.
She brushed her hair, brushed her teeth, threw on a little eyeliner, lipstick, and some mascara. She knew she was pretty. Valerie DEFINATELY new she was pretty. But she loved makeup. Not in the sense it covered everything up, but it was fun to play around with. She smiled to herself in the mirror, showing off her pearly-white teeth, and walked back into her bedroom.
Only in her lacy black bra and thong, Valeria cautiously looks through her hanging dresses. She chooses one, slips off her bra, and slips into the dress. Standing in the full-body mirror, she sighed holding it up. "James!" Valerie called.
Her light, graceful voice could be heard through out the entire house.
She would slip on her black gloves after her dress was laced up.
Valerie ALWAYS wore a dress, gloves, and heels. Everyday. She definitely had the body for her dresses, as well as the attitude.
She felt comfortable in dresses, and loved dressing up in general. It was fun.

Yuri was outside the manor.He was besides the front doors, leaning against the wall. He had one foot crossed over the other and a lit cigarette smoking between his fingers. He had already cleaned the entire house spotless.... too bad it would have to be cleaned again when Alice makes a stroll.

Valerie turned around slowly to look at him, her hair brushed around her like silk. "Good morning. Would you lace up my corset please?" she asked smiling beautifully. "Would be a big help" she giggled softly and sweetly.

Yuri heard the thud of wood. He threw the cigarette on the ground, stomped on it, then in a flash was back inside. He swiftly an up the staircase and caught Annie before she could fall. He picked her up bridal style, literally sweeping her off her feet.
"Good morning Annie" Yuri said unemotionally looking down at her. The stair's rug was now all crumpled up and would need to be straightened out. "How many appliances have you broken this morning?" he asked. His breathe slightly smelt of tobacco, but it would be very difficult to detect. He kept his mouth shut tight, trying to make the smell undetectable.

Valerie furrowed her brows and examined herself closely in the mirror. She spun around a few times.
She placed her hands on her hips and looked over her shoulder at James. "... I look good right?" she said, a bit surprisingly.
She could be very self confident.... but when trying on dresses? Not so much.
"I do, right? I don't look too fat or anything" she sighed.

Yuri raised an eyebrow. 'Terrible idea.' he thought staring down at Alice. "How about you go clean the gardens with Tyler.
You remember him, right? The tall bald man with glasses?" Yuri said softly. He hadn't put her down yet, fearing she might slip again. "He would love your assistance with the gardens, Im sure" Yuri nodded.

Valerie's face showed a bit of shock. "O-oh yeah" she giggled, blushing ever so slightly. She ran her delicate fingers down the chain of the necklace and stopped at the real diamond. 'Don't want finger prints' she thought pulling her hands away.
"James?" she asked softly, looking down at the necklace.

"No you wont, Raymond isn't allowed to work with female staff if I have anything to say about it" Yuri sneered.
"Tell me if he ever wants to fight about it though" Yuri sighed and walked down the steps with her still in his arms.
"What about Catheryn? She should be upstairs organizing the attack right now..."Yuri moved his mouth over to the side.
"No Catheryn doesnt want you stepping on any nails, that's right..." Yuri sighed and set her down once they reached the bottom. "How about you walk around with me today? Sound good?" Yuri asked, resting his hand on top of her head.
Although her clumbsiness annoyed him, Yuri always loved Alice's childish and fun attitude. It made him smile, but he tried not to show it.

'Mm..." Valeria averted her eyes. She brushed past him and sat on the edge of her bed. "Will you help me with my heels?" she asked, clearly avoiding her original question for him. She held up a pare of plain black high heels with a sheepish smile.

A smile tugged at the corner of Yuri's mouth, but he forced it away. "Well, I was going to clean up the broken appliances, but the chef can do that. I was going to fix the rug, but someone else can do that. And speaking of Raymond I was going to talk to him but that wont happen now..." he looked Alice up and down. "Lets go clean the bedrooms" he nodded.

"Y-yes..." she nodded slowly and stood up. She rubbed her hands, looking down at the floor. Something was off, well something definitely wasn't the same. She had something on her mind. 'I probably just need more sleep...' she thought.

"Ah-mm..." Yuri turned to her and sighed. "Come on" he walked to the side of the bed and held out his hand to her, his one eye scanned her quickly, then met back at her gaze. "Wouldn't want to be slow now would be?" he asked, and showed a charming smile.

Valerie sighed and slipped both her gloves on. "You've been forgiven" she muttered quietly under her breathe. She also slid on a diamond ring that matched her necklace. She checked herself in the mirror once again, then stepped out of her room.

Yuri's smiled disappeared. "No I didn't" he cleared his throat. He quickly placed his hand on her hip to keep her from falling.
"Tell me again why your wearing heels...?" he raised an eyebrow, looked down at her feet, then back up to her eyes. It seemed like they were in the position to start dancing, which made Yuri chuckled quietly.
He would love to dance with Alice but, she would probably stumble and step on his feet and lose rhythm. Maybe he could attempt to teach her.... attempt.

Yuri smiled softly and glanced around. "O...ok" he said softly and nodded. "Ill lead" he said, tightening his grip on her hip and hand. "We don't have much room, so don't take large steps" he confirmed with her.

Valerie walked down the hallways. Every time she past some servants they would bow and say good morning to her. She would smile and say good morning back. She turned the corner and found herself as the head of the steps. 'The carpet is all messed up again... Alice' she thought and she her head slightly. She walked down the outskirts of the messy rug, hugging tightly to the railways as she came down. Reaching the bottom, three maids apologized to her for not cleaning the rug.
And quite loudly too.

Yuri had to slouch slightly, because of how short she was and because of how tall he was. But they still danced well together. 'She's a great dancer, even though she's so clumsy...' Yuri thought as he danced with her. He spun her, then hugged her close to him and continued moving around the room. After a few minutes, Yuri stopped and stood to his full height.
"We should probably get back to business" he chuckled softly.

"Thanks James..." Valerie smiled brightly. "Alice can be such a pain sometimes... do you think she's getting better? Or, more graceful I suppose?" she asked softly and looked up at James, her dark green eyes sparkled as the sun shined in through the windows.

"My pleasure" he smiled brightly. "Downstairs for breakfast, also to help serve it." Yuris smile faded and he opened the door for her. "Let me help you down the stairs this time..." he chuckled softly.

"Thank you" she smiled and sat down. "Good morning princess" the king kissed Valeries head. "Morning father" she smiled brightly in return. She swept all her hair over to one side of her neck and started braiding it,

Yuri swiftly snaked his arm around Alice's waist. "Please be cautious" he said holding her tight to him. "We don't want to disturb the royal family either, do we?" he looked down at her, meeting her gaze.

"That is all, we will call for anymore" the king nodded. "Thank you" Valerie smiled brightly. Her three animal-like brothers said the same thing. 'And those are destined to be princes?' Valerie though, honestly ashamed.

Yuri leaned against the wall by the door, eating silently as he listened to the others stories. He didn't smile or chuckle or anything though. Just kept that same emotionless face of his as he listened. He had one foot crossed over the other again.

"Did you sleep well, Valerie?" the queen asked. "Well... I had a strange dream but all in all my sleep was good" Valerie smiled.
"Do tell" the king said. "I-Im good, thanks" she smiled and blushed, finishing her braid. "Oh come on now" the king smiled brightly. "Its, nothing" Valerie shook her head bashfully looking down at her lap.

Yuri cleaned his plate once he finished. "Alice tell me when your done eating, Ill be cleaning around the living room" Yuri patted her head. "Oh come on, cant I have her a while?" one butler asked snickered. "Wanna fight about it?" Yuri turned to him and glared. An awkward silence quickly filled the kitchen. Even though Yuri only had one eye and didn't have very good depth perception anymore, he was one of the best fighters on staff. "Yeah. That's what I thought" Yuri said and left the kitchen.
The butler cursed under his breathe but resumed eating.

Yuri turned around quickly. "S-stop, calm down" he chuckled softly placing both his hands on her shoulders. "Are you ok?" he asked examining her.

"Chill out Alice" he growled, not wanting to disturb the royal family. "Yes, I smiled. But you seriously need to calm the fuck down" he looked her in the eyes as he said that. "Come to the front yard with me" he grabbed her hand and walked outside.

"Oh right, thank you for reminding me" Valeria smiled and stood up. She walked to the grand piano room. 'Seems he wont be coming with me today...' Valerie thought sadly and sighed to herself as she made her way into the room. The piano teacher was there waiting. "Good morning princess" the teacher bowed. "You too" she nodded and sat down at the large piano.
The teacher set down the sheet music she had been practicing.
"Thank you" she nodded. "Just play what you know for me" the teacher nodded.

Yuri went silent, leading her somewhere. He had led her to a fountain that was in front of the manor. "Wou to sit?" he asked, turning to her. He grabbed her other hand and frowned slightly. "I don't blame you for being upset. I shouldn't have treated you so rudely." his grip on her hands loosened drastically. "I shouldn't have used such a rude tone..." he averted his eye.

"Thank you" she smiled brightly walking behind him. "I wish you could of heard me play the piano, I got a lot farther in the song Im working on" she giggled.

"Well, when I was 18 and lost my eye, work was incredibly hard to find. I was homeless for a few months. Then I found this place. They needed more staff, and they accepted me into the mansion" he shrugged, sweeping leaves and dirt away from the fountain

She sighed. "Right" she nodded as she walked towards the library. She stepped inside and spoke with her speech teacher.
This is where she would go over languages, and phrases to use. As well as make her English more proper.
"Say the phrase in German" the teacher asked.
Valorie said the given phrase in German.
"Chinese"
"Russian"
"Japanese"
"Indian"
The teacher continued listing different languages, which the princess all knew by heart.
Since she was little she learned countless different languages.

Yuri saw blood on the water. He quickly sat up on his knees, raked his hand through his hair and picked up her hand.
He sighed, seeing it all scraped up. "Does it hurt?" he asked and met her eyes again. 'Why is she blushing?' he thought.

Yuri sighed and let her hand drop into the water. He shoo khis hair around, then un-did his tie. He picked her hand back up and wrapped the blood red tie around her hand. 'Good thing my tie is red today, no stains to deal with' he thought.
When he finished wrapping her hand, he cupped her face in his hands. "Shhhh" he said softly staring into her eyes, there faces quite close. "Alice, calm down. Its ok" he said softly again.

"Ugh..." Valerie growled under her breathe and stood up, flattening out her dress. "I know" she sighed.
She brushed past James and walked ahead of him rolling her eyes.
She was already tired of all her lessons, and it wasn't even close to dinner yet.

Yuri lost his train of thought as he stared at her. 'You really shouldn't.... I mean you want to, but you really shouldn't...'
he thought and let out a soft breathe. '.... but why not?' he thought. He moved in and kissed her, his fingers fidgeted against her cheek somewhat nervously, but he pulled through with the kiss, and was happier for doing it.

Valerie rested her arms on the table and buried her face in her hands, clearly tired. "Valerie!" her mother said sternly.
She cursed under her breathe, and fixed her posture completely, with an annoyed look on her face.
She just waited patiently for the food, not saying anything more.
