Description: Though Vincent's bloodline is unknown, he doesn't look like those of the Wastelands. With his fair complexion and looks that befit someone of nobility, one could easily assume Vincent was a member of Eden's society, that is if he did not have a pair of mechanical clockwork wings permanently attached to his body. However his wings are bound, leaving him unable to spread his wings.
With his well-built and taut, yet lean and delicate body, allows Vincent to move about easily, with little effort, even with the large mechanical wings on his back. Though narrow doorways and hallways are his greatest of enemies, making Vincent have twist awkwardly sometimes to get through them. Having been subjected to genetic enhancement experiments however, while Vincent finds some of it beneficial to him, it is also a curse, for when others see wings attached to person's back... Well Vincent is not only alone, he is an outcast, avoided, labelled a monster.
Preferred Clothing: Simple and plain trousers and boots.
MENTALITY
Oddities: He often enjoys clicking his neck as well as flexing his wing muscles, causing his wings to shift slightly.
Skills: Basic martial arts, Quick wits
Fears/Phobias: Claustrophobia, Doctors
Likes: The open sky, Animals (particularly birds), Robotics
Dislikes: Being indoors, Being ordered around
Hobbies: Dreaming of flying, Finding new things to investigate.
Personality: Vincent is a quiet man, but who wouldn't be when they wake up with no solid memories of their past and wings grafted to their back? He usually shy’s away from people, are horrified when they see his wings. But should anyone give him a chance, just a single moment, they would find Vincent is quite friendly.
With no memories of his past, Vincent feels quite lost in this world and if often confused by his surroundings. Even in this new and unknown world that Vincent has found himself in upon awakening, he has his opinions, and they are quite different than most peoples. He is also overly cautious and sometimes nervous.
COMBAT
Preferred Weapon: Vincent has a basic understanding of martial arts but would prefer to fight using the environment to his advantage. For example if there is a working engine next to a puddle and an oil can next to that, he will use the oil on the ground and then remove an outlet, placing it in the puddle, electrifying it. He will then step over the puddle and taunt his enemy into walking into the puddle and thus electrifying them.
Fighting Style: Being genetically altered, and having knowledge of unknown origin, Vincent is fairly strong and agile but not to the extent of one who has trained for years. He will prefer to run away from a fight and escape, however if he feels cornered he will fight to survive. Vincent is very uncertain when it comes to fighting, he does not like to make the first move, and this usually puts him to be on the defensive as a majority of the time.
HISTORY
Relationship Status: Single
Family: Unknown
Personal History/Background: Vincent has no idea of his past, he awoke inside an abandoned and run down test facility after many years of experiments had been performed unknowingly on him. It is possible that Vincent had been in there from birth and his mind was altered to know things far faster than normal.
After his awakening he started to make his way out of the chamber where he had been sheltered, only to find he could not move more than five paces. Looking over his shoulder, he found what was stopping him. What Vincent saw didn't seem to surprise or shock him; For grafted to his back and spine were a pair of shackled mechanical clockwork wings, which were attached to the wall by wires.
Vincent struggled to remove the wings, instead he simply succeeded in detaching himself from the frail wires that tied him to the wall. This led to the wings to draw from his nervous system to gain power and were then activated. Struggling to manoeuvre himself and these wings he managed to leave the room through the surprisingly unlocked door, and entering in to a corridor with an elevator at the end.
Pressing a button in the elevator, he was cast blinking into the open world of Gehenna, wearing nothing but a pair of tattered jeans and boots that had clearly seen better days. Now he is hiding in the residential area of Gehenna, alone. Vincent does not know anything about the politics of the world or the concept of good and evil. He has awoken from one dream to a new one. He once dreamed of joy departed now he dreams a dream of joy and life.
Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow-
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.
I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep- while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?
