"I belong here...alone, where I can be who I am, and not hurt anybody."

Dialogue Color: #4de2ff || Location: Arendelle Palace (Coronation)

ImageImage
Elsa stood at the front of the ballroom where she was being given the role as queen. The blonde held the royal treasure in her hands, ice slowly began to cover the golden treasures in her hands, just as the male was finished she immediately placed the treasures back onto the pillow and pulled the blue, laced gloves back over her hands. She couldn't wait until the gates were closed again, all she wanted to do was keep to herself so she could conceal her secret, just as her parents always told her to do. Elsa always lived in fear of hurting anyone after striking Anna's head all those years ago when they were kids.

The ball continued, she watched as everyone danced and enjoyed themselves but one thing she definitely was not expecting was Anna coming to her asking for her blessing on marrying a man she had met that day. Hearing those words, Elsa was livid. She quickly began out of the ballroom, arguing with Anna. Anna grabbed her glove and it came off her left hand. "Give me my glove!" she shouted at Anna.

Moments passed by and a half circle of ice separated herself from Anna and the rest of the coronation guests. Elsa darted out of the ballroom, trying to get out of the palace just as she was met by the rest of the kingdom, congratulating her coronation. The female pushed through the crowd, trying her best not to freeze anyone. When she suddenly saw a baby, she paused and looked at him. But then she began to back up into the fountain, the moment she touched it the entire fountain froze over, starting an eternal winter.

Everyone started yelling, calling her a monster. She ran from the kingdom up to the North Mountain. Elsa couldn't believe all of this happened. But at least she would be able to let it go, everyone already knew what she was capable of so why try to hide it now? She built her own castle on the North Mountain with ice. As she was building the castle her gown changed into an icy blue. Finally the female just stood there, glancing down at her hands. "I have to stay here, I'll hurt someone," she told herself.

Jack was sitting near the top of the North Mountain in Arendelle, watching the bustle going on at the castle. "Hmm. Wonder what the commotion is today. Usually that place is pretty...empty," Jack thought out loud to himself. He laid back against the mountain side, breathing in the clean air, when he felt a dot of something cold land on his hand. "Huh?" He looked around him, tiny bits of snow falling about. "That's...odd." He used his hands to push himself up and stood, looking down at the castle far below. All he could see was the land slowly being covered in a thick blanket of snow, moving outward from the castle. His eyebrow raised in confusion. "I didn't do that," he said, wondering who, or what, could have caused something so drastic.

That's when he saw a small figure moving across the lake, ice and snow coming outward from it. He watched as the figure made its way up the mountain. It was a...woman. She built a bridge of ice to reach another point on the mountain, and Jack's mouth fell open. "What the?" He knew he had to figure out who she was, and what was going on. He assumed that she probably knew at least some of what was happening, what with all the snow now and the fact that it seemed to be coming from her.

He slowly moved down the mountain, inching towards where she was now building what seemed like a castle out of ice. He crossed the bridge that led to the ice castle, moving toward the large doors. "Wow," he let out as he stopped in front of the doors, looking up at the beautifully intricate ice monument before his eyes. He shook his head and put on a determined look. He took a deep breath and opened the doors to the palace. As he entered, he saw a fountain in the center of the room, and on either side of it were large, curved ice stairways. He walked toward the steps on his right, pausing to put his hand on the crystalized railing. "Incredible," he whispered, almost mesmerized by detail in everything around him. He could see every individual ice crystal. His breath was a soft white, appearing powdery almost as it hit the frigid air.

He moved up the staircase, where he came to another set of doors. He took another deep breath, exhaling slowly as he pushed the doors open quietly, poking his head into the room to check around. There was a large, ice chandelier hanging in the center of the room, and beneath it stood the woman he had seen before. "H-Hello...?" he piped up, slowly moving towards the woman, clutching his staff in his hands in case he would have to protect himself.

Elsa let out a soft sigh and removed her eyes from her hands as she turned around. She saw herself in the crystallized ice wall. "What am I becoming?" she mumbled to herself as she peered at her reflection. Just when she found herself beginning to calm down and begin getting use to the fact that she was now alone and didn't have to worry about hurting anyone, she heard a male's voice, "H-Hello...?" Elsa couldn't believe anyone was brave enough to follow her. The blonde stood there with her back to him, "You shouldn't be here."

Elsa glanced in the direction of the male on her crystallized walls, seeing that he was about her age, had white hair, and wore a blue hoodie and a pair of pants, but he held a staff in his hand. He certainly looked incredibly young to be needing walking assistance, she thought to herself. "Leave, please. I don't want to hurt you," Elsa added in a sad tone. Snow began to fall from above them, the more and more in fear she started to become.

Out of everyone who was stupid enough to follow her here, she thought it would have been Anna. But instead it was a stranger, a male she had never even seen or met before in her life. Why was he showing no fear? What made him brave, no stupid enough to follow her here when she has no idea what she is doing with her abilities. Sure, she built a castle, but that was just an in the moment kind of thing. If she were to try it again, there was no way it would happen.

"You shouldn't be here," the woman said, a sound of sadness deep in her voice. She looked at him, seeming to study him in a way, thinking. "Leave, please. I don't want to hurt you," she added, the melancholy inside of her coming out in her words. Just then, Jack noticed snow falling from the ceiling, but he wasn't the one causing it. He looked at her, curiosity and questions running through his mind at high speeds.

"You've built a beautiful castle," he said, walking around the perimeter of the room, touching the crystal walls, admiring them. "Also, you won't hurt me. I can guarantee that," he said, turning to face the woman. She was beautiful, her hair tied into a braid that laid gently over her shoulder. "See?" he stated, holding out his hand. In it, a snowball began to form. "I was wondering how so much snow could fall so quickly. Especially since I wasn't the one doing it," he started, holding the small sphere of snow in his hand. "So I figured I would ask the one doing it." he gave her a soft smile, letting the snowball dissipate in the palm of his hand, a few flakes of the snow falling to the icy floor beneath him.

"I'm Jack. Jack Frost," he said matter-of-factly. He lifted his staff, touching the end to the floor, creating intricate, icy filigree on the ground. It slowly moved from his staff, and he looked at the girl and smiled. "There's no need to be afraid."

"I belong here...alone, where I can be who I am, and not hurt anybody."

Elsa honestly couldn't believe this guy was still here. Even though he claimed he was like her, that he wasn't afraid, that she couldn't hurt him, fear and sadness still rained over her. "I belong here...alone, where I can be who I am, and not hurt anybody," she stated as she took a few steps away from him. Everything was just so overwhelming, so horrible and she was the one who caused it all. If only he knew the monster she became. Maybe then this Jack would understand her.

Finally after a couple moments of silence she introduced herself, "I'm Elsa. Elsa of Arendelle." As the blonde stood there trying to calm herself down and make sure she doesn't hurt Jack, she felt a couple tears sneak away from her icy blue eyes.

Elsa was going to miss Anna, miss her kingdom, miss her home, but this was best for everyone. At that moment it hit her, what Jack had said seconds before, "I was wondering how so much snow could fall so quickly. Especially since I wasn't the one doing it." All previous thoughts suddenly escaped her mind, "My kingdom, did you happen to see what happened to Arendelle?" she questioned in panic. If anything terrible were to have happened to the kingdom because of her she had no idea how she would live with herself or how to even fix it. All Elsa's life she was taught to conceal her gift, to hide who she truly was. So there was no way she had any idea how to control her abilities.
