Species: Tarns. Tarns are humanoids that have wings, retractable claws and sharp teeth, tentacle-like appendages, and more. The stronger a tarn gets, the stronger his/her body gets as well, and he/she can physically change himself, though usually not very much as it's extremely hard to do.
Species Advantage: Incredibly strong fighters, and pretty intelligent, when they want to be.
Species Disadvantage: Not a lot of technology, and what they do have is very old.
