Considering his occupation, Gray has a lot of scars. His most significant one is a large flat scar, where a witch had managed to slice a piece of his stomach skin off.

Depending on the situation, Grahem will change what he is wearing. Causal wear is a black tank top and comfortable jeans; when hunting he then puts on extra protection, such a combat boots, leather gloves and a reinforced leather jacket. However, in general Gray tends to keep in simple and is more then content to wear his cloths until they are destroyed before replacing them.

Grahem is not the easiest person to get along with in the world as he never really had an interest in people besides his sister. Extremely protective and over-bearing, he will do anything for her and often sees others as potential threats to her safety, making it difficult for him to trust or befriend anyone.
Being tall and made from muscles, it is not surprising that Gray can often be seen as extremely intimidating, when added with his quiet personality and quick-temper. This has meant that Hanna has had to become the intermediary between Gray and the rest of the human race, making Grahem realise how smart the girl was. It was from that moment he decided she would be a 'student'. They began to collect books from everywhere, all for the purpose of furthering her education much to his sisters aggravation. However, Gray believes that should this nightmarish war ever end, he wants his sister to have a future.
Gray, though of only average intelligence, has an keen mind for strategy and this is what helped keep him and his sister alive. Despite how he comes off, he is extremely resourceful and adept dealing with threats. The only people who see his slightly softer side, such as his smiles or kind words, are his sister or those he considers extremely close friends.

Grahem and His sister were raised by their father, their mother having died in childbirth. They lived a relatively peaceful life, separated from society on a small self-sustained farm. However with Evil Fairy Tale characters running around, it wasn't long before things went wrong.
Grahem was 11 when he and his sister were kidnapped by a witch. They had been playing in the woods, a little way from the house, when she had appeared and offered them cake. Hanna stupidly said yes and followed the bloody old women, and Gray being the good brother followed after to make sure she was safe. Upon entering the women home, the door slammed shut and they were trapped. It was revealed to the pair that they reminded the witch of two evil children who had escaped her, and so Hanna and Grahem would be eaten instead. They were missing for days, and just as the witch went for Hanna, Grahem convinced her to eat him first. As the blade sliced into his flesh, he heard a bang as his father came charging through the doors. He managed to kill the witch, but sustained massive injury. He died a week alter from infection.
Alone, the pair struggled through life, Grahem fighting to protect his sister ever day, and never forgetting what the witch had done to their happy family. They swore, from that moment, that they would destroy any fairy tale creature unfortunate enough to find themselves in the duo's path.
