Appearance: Jäger is 5'9” and weighs 150 Lbs. He is rather lean, with only a few patches of fat. His hair is black, yet his eye is blue. He is missing his left eye which is bandaged up. He wears three rings in his left ear, two bracelets on left wrist; a sleeveless, black shirt, a white and black coat with red trim; white, cargo pants, and custom made, running shoes.
Partner: Jäger has always had trouble sync'ing with his partners, so much so they all chose new meisters. Lately, he has had his eye on Lythrin Leigh.
Skills/Abilities/Techniques/Specialties/etc.:
First-aid knowledge – Jäger has a knowledge of the human body, as a result, he can treat minor injuries and help with serious injuries until the proper medical treatment can be given.
Madness – Jäger is insane, but functionally so. His madness manifests as his two split personalities, which is a double-edged sword. Certain things can trigger a change and work as a tag team in battle, seemingly restoring his resolve in an instant. However this proves to be a weakness in social interactions as most mistakenly badge him two-faced.
Physical Fitness – Jäger swims and runs quite a bit in his free time and is in decent shape, however his sweet tooth still manages to leave a trace.
Soul Mapping - Jäger can use this ability by channeling his soul wavelength into the ground. The ability works up to half a mile and allows him to see his surroundings, even hidden things. However, frequent use can leave him drained.
Miscellaneous: Has a hobby as a botanist and enjoys cooking what he grows.
Jäger has two personalities, Yin and Yang. Under normal circumstances, Jäger is at best: kind, agreeable, patient, humble, and calm; at worst: indecisive, a push-over, lazy, and cold. When he turns "yang", however, he becomes at best: passionate, steadfast, confident, and industrious; at worst: arrogant, unyielding, mean, impatient, and argumentative. ally only becomes yang if provoked. In both states, he has an interest in balance, at worst a mild obsession.
Jäger was born in Germany to Alexander and Heidi Guntram. Life was good for a while, then everything went wrong. Jäger was still young when the world turned into hell. Luckily, Jäger's parents resisted the madness and protected him to the end. An end which came much sooner than expected. A local gang had been harassing the Guntram's for protection. Now they wanted Jäger as payment. The gang was enraged to find they hid him from them. That moment Jäger saw his own parents murdered in front of him during the chaos. Fortunately, Jäger managed to escape the assailants, running into the streets. However, his fortune soon turned ill as a near by building collapsed, sending shrapnel everywhere, including Jäger's left eye. The pain was just enough to push him over the edge, into madness. Just as his pursuers caught up to Jäger, a meister from the DWMA saved him revealing the gang to be afreet eggs. Feeling bad for Jäger, the meister took him to Shinigami who enrolled Jäger in the academy. Between his enrollment and the present Jäger has had multiple weapon partners, but all left because of his growing madness. Lately it has stabilized, but has proven highly resistant to treatment.
