Side: All, and then again none. Preferably the one that doesn't enslave him, or eat all his crumpets. So, I suppose the Dealers are out, buuuut you never know. He is mad after all.
Role: From his point of view, as far away from the danger as possible. But for some reason he always ends up being the messenger, spy, or even a guide. Not by his own will of course, he'll never volunteer, but if he owes you something, well then, he'll keep near.
Location: Anywhere in wonderland, he travels all the time, sining songs and belting rhymes, he's fretfully out of line. I wonder where you'll find him? Up a tree, or in a nook? After all, it really depends on how you look.
Orientation: Straight as a bent nail. Actually, he's not really attracted to most, they make him feel uncomfortable with their strange "methods" of doing things. he'd rather just go along, making himself quite at ease with endless wanderings.
Status: Single, although he never gets to enjoy it, always being harassed by that rabbit- the one he forces to tea.
Crush: OoooH! A crush A crush! Some crushed lemons for my teeeeeaaaa.... but seriously. One minute its this, another its that, then it's where'd I put my bowler hat?

Madd wears a tall black hat, that usually has numerous things sticking out of the sash tied around it's base. He stands at 6 feet tall, exactly. Not an inch more. He skin is pale, his hair is black, his eyes are red, and his clothes are whack. Mostly, he wears a mishmash garb, a vest and scarf, his pants are black, though many strange things hang from his belt. And gloves! He loves gloves. He carries a cane, that can sharpen to a point. But most importantly he is never without tea.

Personality:
The Madd Hatter is just plain straight batty. Up and down are the same, round and round is the game; come and play my dear, before the dealers make it all disappear! One moment he is sad, the next he is glad. When people eat all his crumpets he gets very very mad.
Mood swings abound, he'll never have a straight path, forgetful and mischievous at times. Are you sure you want to trust him? His hobby is drinking tea, tea parties his passion, aside from that, he enjoys being downright confusing.
Likes: TEA! Rhymes. Sweets. Riddles. People who aren't from Wonderland (usually because they are not as crazy as the people there).
Dislikes: 1)The Cheshire Cat- can never finish a job, and always leads the outsiders astray.
2) When the rabbit is late for their important date.
3) The Dealers, as they are generally more unfriendly and manipulating than the royals, and they won't drink his tea.
4) Picking sides. Why can't he just have them all?
5) Violence, because he could get hurt. Run awaaaaay!
Hobbies:1) Tahheeeeee Parhrtays!!! Don't you know the Hatters party's are some of the best to go to if you are a psychotic, crazy, or even mildly strange being of Wonderland? Watch out for the spiked tea.
2) Being where he isn't supposed to be, with people he isn't supposed to be with, at a time he ought to be somewhere else.
3) Annoying people. Although no one knows if he does this on purpose.... you can interpret him any way you want.

History:
Madd doesn't know where his parents are, or even if he has any at all, his past is a blur. He's not sure he wants to remember. He knows that he really doesn't like Wonderland, and yet is in fear of leaving it. Being quite mad, he is forgetful often. His best "friend" is a rabbit he forces to his tea parties. He gets along with any outsider, pretty much enjoying their company over the creatures of Wonderland. He has various tea pots and cups and strange little dolls he acquired from the kingdoms for trading his hats. He stores them, and his personally made tea in the giant mushrooms. Long ago the Hatter helped Alice overthrow the Red queen's reign, although, he didn't really do much but confuse people. He had a strong tie with the girl Alice, which helped him overcome his fears. Now that she's gone however, he's mostly forgotten the meaning of "honor" as Wonderland is in the state it is.
