"Would you like to hear a riddle?"
Likes: Her family and close friends/ her subjects and servants/ needlework/ playing the lute/ quiet evenings spent with a hot mug of tea, conversing with Damon/ riddles/
Dislikes: Empty-headed people/ stupidity and those who wag their tongues too much/ pork/ the smell of pepper/ spoiled noblewomen/
Fears: Losing either of her sons or her niece and nephew/ the horrors of war/ having harm befall the Bennett household and fief/ also, crows terrify her/
Skills/Talents: Biggest skill: Cunning and politics. Rhiannon is very good at tilting situations into her favor. Rhiannon is very good at telling and answering riddles, embroidery, mothering, and playing the lute.
Weaknesses: Denying something to her children, Rhiannon has a bad habit of spoiling them. It is a wonder her eldest son is not a brat. Much like her sister, her family is her greatest weakness. Rhiannon would gladly lay down her life for them. She has no fighting abilities and no skills with weapons.
General Personality: Like every other nobleman and noblewoman out there, Rhiannon was brought up with good manners. She knows very well how to act like a lady, what is suitable and what is not, what is considered appropriate behavior and what is expected from her. Rhiannon is quick to bestow her laugh and smiles on those who most amuse her and whom she enjoys spending time with, but if for some reason you have gotten on her bad side, a stony silence and cold glare are the best you could hope for.
Rhiannon is polite for the sake of being pleasant and no longer has any need to be manipulative. Nevertheless, when pushed, she makes a terrible political foe to go up against (using all her cunning, connections and wiles to make sure her side prevails). She is especially fierce when it comes to her family, close friends, and her subjects, striving to protect them all as best she an. She flirts when she ought to, and plays the games of court as much as she has to make her and her children successful in life.
She rarely gets angry nowadays, though her temper is known to be cool but vindictive. It’s still possible to get a rise out of her, though it’s just harder to do so. While she does still worry about appearances, and refuses to slack in anything, her family tends to keep her grounded when she starts getting obsessive. Away from her family, she is very down-to-earth, no-nonsense and serious. She values honesty to a brutal degree and has very little time for people she does not deem worthwhile (though these are not many).
The younger sister of the late Queen Morgana, Rhiannon has always been said to look like the younger version of her sister. The two sisters were always very close and maintained a connections with one another through sending frequent letters between themselves.
Rhiannon was wedded to her husband when she was fifteen years of age. Her husband has recently been killed in a hunting accident when a stray arrow caught him in the throat. She had been married to him for ten years and has had two children, though both of her sons were fathered by Damon, her step-son. Nobody but Damon, herself, Morgana, and Nasrin (with whom Rhiannon is close friends with) know of this.
Mordred, who is six years old (soon to be seven) is a bright boy who Rhiannon suspects to be aware of who his real father is. Morgan, who is two months old, was named in honor of Rhiannon's recently deceased sister. Rhiannon was unable to attend neither the ball nor Morgana's funeral due to being with child and giving birth, which strained her body and made her unable to travel.
Rhiannon is hoping to travel to King's Landing to pay her respects to her sister's grave.
