She has a few quite visible scars around her body. Some are quite gruesome and can it can easily be told that they were caused by a small blade of some sorts
Personality: Most of this will be revealed through the RP as I am making Emma a fairly complex person. If I were to write it out it would end up pretty contradictory. This is rare that I do not write up a personality but I will tell you that Emma is a strong girl and normally cheery. She is not one to give up, even under the worst of circumstances and will stand by those who she deems as friends. However Emma is also a little scared, she suffers from a mild case of PTSD and does not like talking about her scars, though she makes no effort to hide them.
Equipment:
Two small knives
a small med kit, mostly aimed at curing burns then anything else
a small writing book, she uses this to write down not only knowledge but the occasional poem as well
Pen and inkwell
A few small vials with captured gases in them, these are normally rare gases that aren't normally found in the atmosphere
Ashembra: A young wilde mustang filly that had broken it's leg and been left by it's family. Emma ran into the creature as a pack of wolves was about to attack it and she chased them off with her alchemy. Emma spent the next month camping out by the filly and nursing the proud creature. Though originally Emma was going to release her back into the wild, the horse refused to leave Emma, it had developed a bond with the young girl that could not be broken. Emma named the horse Ashembra, which means Big Heart in an old forgotten language she had found in a book one time. The filly may still be young, she found it only on her way to Belhurst, it's not quite 1 year old yet. However, like most wilde creatures, or as Emma likes to call them Royal, Ashembra is highly intelligent, arguably as smart as some humans, and very strong. As difficult as the horse is at times her name speaks true, she has a big heart and Emma loves her more then anything else in the world.
Alchemical Abilities:
Gases, mostly the noble gases (Oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, etc etc etc) As a result she has become a very effective elemental alchemist.
She is very good at mixing materials together to form sometimes complex compounds. While she can't turn one material into another she can combine then to form a new material or take them apart to form their chemical originals.
History: Emma has always had a certain power. Even from an early age she showed the ability to use alchemical powers. Her father however grew afraid of her. His fear was not out of place, he had lost his own family to a murderous alchemist. However, his fear slowly ate away at him, it ate at his mind until it drove him insane. He became brutal, his insanity making him believe that Emma was a danger to him, a thing that he could only control through torture and pain. He beat Emma daily, cut her with knives and even raped her at times. Emma however was not one to give up. She lived through the pain and practiced her alchemy daily. Finally at age 12 she had had enough pain. She didn't love her father but had always believed he would snap out of it. She killed him, instantly. She turned the a large amount of the gasses in the house to hydrogen and caused a flash fire, the house exploded instantly. She has since been wandering from place to place doing odd jobs. She has recently arrived in Belhurst and has taken a job as a ticket seller at the local train station.
Other: She is near sighted and finds it very difficult to see objects far away without her glasses.
