Telepathic Projection - Can project pictorials into minds of non ESPers as well as some of the less shielded ESPers.
Offensive
Empathic Force - Can cause any non ESPer to feel any emotion she chooses. Can also be considered neutral ability. Limited to people she's near by, also by number of people she's trying to cover in a certain area. Her record is 253 people emotionally controlled at a time, nonESPers or low level ESPers; civilians.
Force Push - Basic energy barrier blast designed to knock physical attacks or people away. Can be used as temporary shield. Similar to Burst, only the area affected is much wider, a lot more like getting punched than getting shot. If physical movement of arms is restricted, Force Push will not be strong enough to damage much at all.
Defensive
Physical Barrier - Variation of, and works much like, force push, but takes a lot more concentration to keep it going, as it is on a much larger level. Not unlike a shiel.
Appearance: About five feet six inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds, with average female muscle mass. Pinkish skin tone with altered red hair, green/gray eyes. Usually wears black tank tops, bright hoodies, and dark wash jeans.
Personality: Emily seems like a very calm girl, rarely showing her own emotions through her own actions. People who have met her wonder if she even feels anything at all on her own. She rarely smiles unless she's talking to someone or thinks she's completely alone. When conversing with another known ESPer, Emily prefers to show what she wants to say rather than verbally tell. She's not shy, just doesn't talk much, and as a result, he voice is very light.
Bio: Emily spent the very beginning part of her life with her parents, who had been greatly effected by the radiation. They had been a young couple living on a small still-lasting farm just outside of a city that had gotten hit, and they had survived the initial blast. Her father had been outside and had gotten the full barrage of the radiation, her mother had been in an old dry cellar under the ground. Her father's health deteriorated over the years and he died when she was still a young child, her mother grew increasingly sick over the next few years, though continued to home school her in the basics of living. By the time she was ten, her mother got significantly sicker, and sent her to live with someone involved in the EPC, who she knew would be able to help train her. Emily entered a foster home of sorts, and her mother died soon afterwards. There Emily was taught how to hone in on her still developing powers and began being able to control them, where before they had been a nuisance wherever she went.
When Emily turned 18, she was released from the custody of the EPC, but sent away with on good terms with a small bi-weekly payment plan, on the grounds that she remain in the city area as a peace keeper of sorts. She had been trained how to manipulate the emotions of those around her and had been told to suppress her own feelings in times of stress; her job is to try and keep as many of the normal citizens quiet as possible. She wears a beeper on her hip that vibrates whenever there's a larger outbreak of stressed out nonESPers, it shows where the incident is and she usually rides her bike there. While there, she doesn't really do much of anything but walk around, stripping people of their anger and pushing feelings of well being into them, calming them down.
On Emily's 19th birthday, she was biking to the corner market when she came across an elderly woman who ran an in-home daycare. She offered up herself for a job, keeping the fact that she had ESP abilities secret. She works for a small salary helping the woman take care of children for ten hours every other day, using a less intense version of empathic push to keep the children calm, and telepathic projection to keep the youngest ones entertained. She thinks the woman is suspicious of her abilities, but too glad of the help to cause a problem or fire her.
Anything of Note: She rides a purple bicycle everywhere she goes, and carries her own notebooks, pens, and some old herb and cook books her mother had owned in a bright green backpack.
