Annabelle pulled back a little, noticing the blush on her friend's face and chuckled. Then after a moment she composed herself and became serious all over again. "Perhaps sending him in with someone that he trusts wouldn't be such a bad idea." Anna stated, her eyes turning back to the darkening trees as night continued to take the town. "I wouldn't just throw him in there now. Give it a few days, lets see if the trees calm down, or if he finds any friends among some of your watchers." The fae moved over to the chair that had been brought in for Xavier, then sat Zephyr and now herself.

Xavier gave him a soft, apologetic smile. "I could have been looking as well. Anyway, I should get back to my hotel room. I'm kinda under close watch..." he explained. He had a feeling people were watching him, but he was not sure who. If the mayor had a feeling he was dangerous and wanted people to watch over him that was fine, but he didn't want to cause any trouble for whoever was suppose to keep an eye out. "I'm new to town, or at least I think I am." He rubbed the back of his head with a frown. Without his memories he was not sure if the town was his home or not.

Dexenia nodded at her friend in agreement. She watched her sit down and spoke softly. "Perhaps if Zephyr manages to become friends with him, we could send them." She still didn't like the idea. She turned to the windows and watched the trees, they didn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. She let out a soft sigh, feeling like she's asking to much of him. She tapped her fingers on her desk and thought for a moment, in a few days she would ask him to visit and they would discuss what to do. She turned towards her friend again and decided against inviting her, she knew that she would probably be there anyways. The thought made her laugh softly, so she had to ask. "I want to invite him here, in a few days, see if he is willing to go. I have a feeling you'll be here for the conversation?"

Zephyr grinned, taking a step towards the store. "Close watch? Huh, our mayor does take percautions in this town. Tries to keep it as safe as possible, maybe since you're new she's keeping an eye on you." He applauded the man's awareness, at least he managed not to blow that he was the one watching him. He'll have to be careful now, or maybe as their friendship grew, if he could manage to make one, his fears would go away. "Maybe I'll see you around in here, yeah? I visit Nimble often."

Annabelle clasped her hands together in her lap and sat with her back straight. "Unless you ask me not to be there," the woman answered. She had always respected Dex's privacy for most matters, unless it dealt with the town. Because the fae was able to move freely without being seen she was able to take care of the hardest criminal responses without being detected. "I normally drop into conversations in this office, but if you wish to talk to Xavier alone about the woods, then just let me know."

"Really?" Xavier smiled, "It will be nice to see you around then. I just got a job under Nimble. He is a really nice old man." The fox nodded his head softly then pointed in the direction of the hotel. "I should be getting back though. It will be really late soon, need to be rested up for the first day of the job." He patted the wolf's shoulder, still a little afraid of the musky smell that fell from him but let it brush off. "See you later." He waved and walked toward the hotel.

Dexenia smiled at the fae, and shook her head. "You may stay if you wish, nothing too private will be talked about I'm sure." She brushed her hair behind her shoulder with her hand and sighed. "It's getting late, the sun is starting to set. I should probably finish my paper work and get some rest. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a busy day." Sorting through her papers on her desk, she thought more about the missing girl. She couldn't help feel like it wasn't an accident. Her face turned into a cold one as she wondered who would do such a thing. Sighed, she shook her head as if to change it back and finished her sorting.

"That's great, he really is a good guy. See you around!" He nodded and waved back at the man as he walked away. He swug open the door and walked inside. "Hey Nimble! What's up buddy?" He asked the man as he leaned against the counter. Running a hand through his hair, he sighed softly. "I need you to keep an eye on him Nimble, the guy you just hired. Mayor's orders. He's new and not sure where he came from or what he is. If you hear anything, let me know?"

Nimble peered over his glasses. "Well, hello Sunny." The man kept up with the other's quick words and nodded his head. "I sure can watch over him, if the mayor wishes. You come to have some tea with me?" he asked, moving slowly to the door to change the open to closed. "I have some beef and broth in the pot too, if you wants some dinner." Nimble was use to Zephyr coming and requesting things from him. He was also use to feeding the man as well, at times when he forgot to feed himself.

Annabelle floated into the air. "Well then, I'll see you tomorrow. Don't work too hard now, you'll age." She teased, chuckling slightly before disappearing. It was unlike her to leave so early, but she was curious about Xavier and decided to check upon him. She watched as the man returned to the hotel and fumbled for his key. He went almost straight to bed. Didn't turn on the lights, or mess with the damn television. He just crawled into bed and closed his eyes. She thought it odd, because when she was watching him earlier she did not recall him eating. She wondered if he would eat at all.

Dexenia laughed softly at her remark and smiled. "Don't worry, I'm sure I'll be done soon." They both knew that was a lie. She usually stayed all hours of the night working. It was a habit of hers that was hard to shake. With all the problems recently she has been trying to settle everything as quickly as possible. Licking her lips, she began to type away. She hadn't eatten in a while and it was taking it's toll on her. Shaking it off she tried to focus on her screen.

"I'll have some tea, I ate earlier. But thank you." He followed the man to the back of the store, holding the door that lead to his room open for him. He felt bad that he asked Nimble for so much all the time, but he was always there if he needed anything. He would repay him as best as he could for his hospitality. He took a seat on one side of the table after grabbing the cream and milk from the fridge. Setting up the sugar and cups, he looked at the old man and smiled. "Anything I can do for you?"

"No, no..." Nimble made his way slowly to the stove, taking the tea kettle off the fire and bringing it to the table to join his friend. "Nothing you can do for me. The shop is doing good. I just hired that animal you want me to watch over." He smiled and sat down, pouring two cups of tea. "Just the company, that is what you can do for me. I just want company." He chuckled and started to make his tea the way he loved it. "How have you been, Zephyr."

Zephyr started to make his tea "I've been good, mostly just hanging around with the boys. You know how it is. Mayor needs something done, I get it done." His week hasn't been that eventful and Dexenia's request gave him something to do. Taking a drink of his tea he added a bit more suger and smiled. "How about you? It's good to hear you're doing well." He liked the old man, he was one of the nicest people he ever met. He thought back to when he was a child and trashed the man's store. His father made him work for him for a while. He got to know the man and began to work for the fun of it, until the big mess over the missing girl. He had been sent to look for her and keep an eye out.

"It has been quiet." The old man stated, sipping on his tea in between his conversation. "You're not around as much and the boys don't visit as often either. Which is fine, they were a little too noisy anyway." He chuckled. "But was in some need around the shop so I put that sign up today, and look, someone came in after all."

"How is the mayor anyway, you've been doing a lot for her lately, haven't you?" he asked, turning his attention to the window that had a good view of her home. "Thought you didn't like the mayor all that much, or is it because your fae friend works with her."

He laughed softly at the mans words. "They were a little noisy huh?" Putting down his cup he half smiled at him. "I haven't been around much because of that, yes." He blushed slightly when he brought up Annabelle. It wasn't because of her he agreed to help, but she did have a part in it. "I think she's a little too stuck up you know? Like all she cares about is work. Annabelle is her friend, so I trust her." He smiled at the man, rubbing his eyes before taking another sip of his tea.

"Annabelle and the mayor are good friends?" the man seemed surprise. Annabelle's nature was rather childish and playful, but she still had a mean streak on her when she was serious. He did not see how the two would have gotten along, but he did believe that the oddest of pairs end up the closest of friends, otherwise him and his wife would not have loved each other so deeply. "In Annabelle you trust, and then the mayor due to the bond they have. You are such a good friend." He smiled, then sipped a little more on his tea. "Have you taken that poor girl out on a date yet?" he added, noticing the blush on the wolf's face when Annabelle was brought up.

"No he hasn't..." Annabelle stepped in through the door, only hearing the last part of their conversation. "Sorry, just got here, don't worry." She waved her hands as if she had just walked through the doors. "I just needed to speak to Zephyr about the new guy, Xavier."

"Ah yes... go ahead, take his time. He doesn't mind." The old man laughed against and moved away from the table toward the kitchen.

"Thank you Nimble." He finished his cup of tea and placed it back on the saucer. He agreed it was a little weird to see them as friends, but from what he knows they go back farther than he and Annabelle do. If she trusts the mayor he believes he can too. Once this whole scene blows over maybe she'll loosen up a bit.

Zephyr opened his mouth to answer the man when he heard her voice. He froze for a moment and turned to her. He sighed in relief she wasn't there the whole time. "I haven't, not yet." He gave his trademark joking smirk and wiggled his eyebrows a little. At the mention of Xavier, he nodded and motioned her to have a seat. "I don't mind at all, if you don't Nimble." He smiled at the man as he left and thanked him for the tea.

Annabelle gracefully glided over to the table, taking her seat next to Zephyr and watched Nimble move through the kitchen slowly looking for another cup for tea. When he returned he poured her a cup as well before shaking his head. Of course he did not mind the young woman taking up their time. He loved having both of them over, and the conversations were always interesting.

Annabelle thanked the man and then sighed. "Xavier hasn't eaten..." she stated solemnly. "If he is a were then that maybe dangerous for everyone for his hunger to get out of control. I noticed when he entered town that he had not stopped anywhere for food, and he went straight to bed when he got to the hotel. I have a feeling he might be a problem here soon, and we don't have anything of his type of animal to keep his beast under control if he does shift." She told him, giving him all the details. She even told him what the mayor was planning on having him and the fox do in the forest in a couple of days. "Only if you can manage to be nice to him, that is."

Zephyr took all the information in before speaking. "She wants me to go into the forest with him, see if he can remember?" He thought about it for a minute. It was a weird plan, but it may work. He wondered what he should do about Xavier not eating. He'll need to eat soon if he is to stay in control. Sighing he looked at her and held his hands in his lap. "Do you have a plan you want to tell me about?" He always liked her input before making his own decisions, it seemed like if he went off by himself he got into trouble.

The room went silent, even Nimble was watching Anna as if she would come up with something great. Then she smiled. "I'll contact room service and have them take him some dinner. You'll take it to him, say you work part time at the hotel when you are not helping with other affairs, not sure what affairs, but other. If he invites you in take it, talk to him, see if he eats, if not we'll watch and see if he eats from afar. That will get him some food tonight. As for tomorrow morning, he's suppose to be..."

"With me, bright and early," Nimble raised his glass a little and smiled. "He seems like a good lad."

"Nimble, would you mind having breakfast ready for him when he arrives. If he doesn't eat tonight, he'll definitely have some food for him in the morning. And you know how Nimble is when it comes to his workers and food." Anna sat up in her seat a little more, putting her a bit closer to Zephyr. "Does that sound good?" she asked.

Zephyr grinned at Anna, and nodded. "Brilliant. I can do that. Shall we say it's from the mayor? It'd make sense." He knew of several things he could name off if he asked whatelse he does, That wasn't a problem. Anna always came up with great plans, he was just glad she appreciated his input.

He smiled at the thought of Nimble making breakfast, he was fantastic at it. "Nimble is great at making food, it's always better then whatever any of the boys and I could do." He laughed softly, blushing a little when he noticed Anna was a bit closer. "Should I leave now, or is there something else I need to know?"

"You can go..." Anna stated, her eyes watching him carefully. "The manager should have the food there when you've arrived." Then she vanished with a little pop. Nimble stared at her chair for a moment. He never could get use to her random popping in an out without a warning.

Anna appeared next to the manager of the hotel. "I have a request from the mayor that goes along with whatever deal she has already asked of you. The fox you have been watching in the room has not eaten a meal all day. You will prepare him a steak, a little more than rare, with two sides of your choice. When Zephyr arrives give him the tray that your room service would be given to take to the room. Is that understood?" The moon fae stared at him, her eyes completely serious, which at this point made her beautiful and frightening.
