Yumi wiped her eyes while Sky was away, I feel like a child... walked out of the tent and began looking around. She looked to Sky, "Ya I suppose, but I still feel a little apprehensive...Maye after a good meal?"
Her stomach growled angrily at her, she rubbed it in reply. "Any food around here?"
All she wanted right now was a new change of clothes, a hot shower, and a bowl of something hot to eat. She snagged a pack of cigs and a lighter from the driver, he was kind enough to let her have them. She took one out and lit it, letting it out high into the air.

Sky looked at Yumi as she was smoking and jerked his head away looking forward again, "you do know how dangerous that is for your health right?" he said concerned, "especially with your wound, but, its your choice..." He shrugged and walked towards a officer, "where is the food tent and a place where we can get new clothes?" he asked politely.

"Over there..." the officer responded pointing to a few tents

"Thanks..." Sky said as he walked back to Yumi, "I've found food and a storage tent for clothing.." he said to Yumi as he looked around the camp, 'I wonder where the others are...' he thought as they walked to the tents.

Fey smiled at the chance to get new clothes. By this time, the bottom three inches of her nightgown had pretty much been destroyed. It had felt like an eternity since she'd worn something comfortable. She followed Sky to the tents, and poked her head around until she found one with stacks of clothes around the sides and a lock on the inside. Fey steppid inside, closed the tent flap and secured the padlock to the strap. Then, she went over the small variety of clothes to choose from. T-shirts, camo shorts, boots... that seemed to be it. Better than nothing. She quickly changed into an outfit about her size, and walked back outside. She looked around. If this is the 'rebel base', there might be other Affinites around here... neat, she thought to herself. She was curious as to what there abilities might be. Maybe things she'd never imagined before. The sense of freedom was thick in the air. But something else too... tension? Well, they were fugitives, after all.

Sky seeing Fey go into the clothes tent just went to the food and got a few large rolls with various meats in them and gave one to Yumi and tossed the other to Fey after she went out, he soon went in and changed his ragged clothing which had plenty of holes in them to the camo and boots they had there and threw on his greatcoat he had. He walked out with the bun in his mouth, "Next..." he said muffled by the bun in his mouth, he sat down next to Fey and ate the bun which was still warm, 'the first warm meal in a while...' he thought as he looked at Fey swallowing what he had bitten off from his bun, "So Fey, what was your life like before they dragged us away?" he asked curiously trying to get to know the others.

Fey took a bite of the bun, then furrowed her eyebrows. It had felt like an eternity since she'd last thought of her family. She recalled what she could. "I lived with my mother and my little brother. Life was... average." She frowned. "Then, we got tested and..." she threw up her hands, for emphasis. "I turned out positive. Middle of the night, I got taken. Nothing special." Fey leaned back on her hands. "How 'bout you?" she said, taking another bite of the bun.

Yumi made her way into the tent, snuffing out her cigarette and shoving the bun in her mouth so it hang out. Using her good arm she latched the ten shut and pulled of her clothes. She slipped into fresh camo and an white tank top and joined the rest of the group. She peered around for Wrax as Fey spoke.

Sky looked down at his bun, "My mother died from a illness she got in the hospital that she worked at, before though she put me through rigorous training for me to be an EMT, My father was killed by drug dealers, in my arms as I tried to help save him..." He looked down in regret, "Then I moved in with my grandfather and stayed there for about two months in which I was tested and was positive, I already knew though... And when they came to take me at my parents' graves I fought back and eventually fled." Sky looked up, "the guards got a good running chase after me and I kinda sent a few cars of theirs towards the" he laughed a bit, "And jumped into a guard's arms by accident as I jumped a fence, and all the rest I was out cold." He bit into the bun and felt like a weight was lifted off him from the telling of his story of how he came to meet the others, "Although when I was drifting in and out of consciousness I heard one of the guards talk about how THEY killed my father and how he was laughing while he was dead in my arms..." He said angrily, "Thats why I fight..."

Fey looked up at Sky. Then, she averted her gaze back down to the grass. Wow. She'd never imagined such a thing. She knew the Feds were cruel bastards, but all the death and that part at the end of Sky's story... It unnerved her and made her want to punch something at the same time. She frowned. "That's... heavy," she offered, but Fey was truly at a loss as to how to respond to the tragic story. It rubbed her the wrong way. She curled her hands into fists and brought her knees to her chest as a small wind blew, ruffling her platinum hair. 

Sky watched Fey react to his story and noticed Yumi sit with them, "So... Now what...?" He quietly asked as he looked at the others with a more calm complexion for how he told his story he was upset, but didn't want to show it. He stood up and looked over at a commotion by another tent, "Whats going on over there?" he mumbled as he walked over there to hear shouts about the rescued "kids" he heard how the people didn't want to give up their bunks for them, 'Looks like we cause a commotion anywhere' he thought as he walked back to the others quietly and stood there waiting for the others.

Fey stood up and crossed her arms, staring at the ground. A memory tugged at her mind, something interesting that she knew she'd like to remember...

It clicked. She smiled slightly, despite Sky's grim disposition. "Hey. I remember before I got taken, there was this pro-Affinite activists, and he'd spray graffiti slogans everywhere. One of them was- and I thought this was great - 'Respect existence or expect resistance." She looked up at the gray sky. Looked like a storm. Fey liked storms. It was fitting, too, what with their current situation. That's what this whole thing was. An angry storm.

Yumi stood, arm in a sling, and looked around.
"Sorry guys, I was SpiritWalking...I thought I might look for Zack. I didn't find him though.
She stretched a bit and kicked the dirt..."So...these people don't want to share...that sucks. Guess were treated like freaks no matter who our company is."
She looked up the the sky and sighed, "Fey wanna bunk with me? When we get someplace that is..."

Sky saw the storms and felt the wind pick up a bit. It seemed weird, being how sunny it was earlier but what reason did he have for questioning the weather. Sky noticed Yumi speak about how she was "SpiritWalking"he thought about her ability and how helpful it was for plenty of things he also thought of Fey's ability and how powerful it was and comparing it to his, His ability to control the wind was far outmatched by them he felt slightly useless but with his medical experience as an EMT he felt less useless. His thought process was soon interrupted by Yumi saying something about the companies treating them like outcasts and how she wanted to bunk with Fey, once again he felt left out due to he was the only male of the group was left over, Kaiden, Zack, Wrax, Ty, and Amber were missing. He felt like he let them down because of that, 'Sorry Ty, I couldn't protect them...' he thought as he looked at the sky in which the storm fit his thoughts, "I'm gonna find the Head Commander to see where we can be placed..." He said as he walked away from the others looking for a tent that looked like a Commanding Officer's. Sky found one after a few minutes of searching and walked in, "Uhm... Sir... Where should my friends and I go?" He asked nervously, he wasn't ever good at talking to others of higher authority than his own.

"Go to the tents by the barracks, They'll sort you out there..." He said lighting a cigarette

"Uhm... Thanks..." Sky responded as he walked out and returned to Fey and Yumi, "I've found out where to go..." He was rather calm talking to Fey and Yumi and then walking with them to the barracks, "You guys go first..." He said politely as he waited for them to go in.

Yumi kicked the dirt a bit and raised her good harm to rub the back of her head, "Alright..let's go see 'home'," and slowly walked through the tent. There were groups of people all sitting around campfires. Some were drinking coffee, others eating from tin dishes. The majority of them were watching the group as they past, Is it curiosity...or fear.
She chuckled to herself, watching the braver ones make gestures as they passed. It was easy to tell who were intolerant in the group, and she so badly wanted to be alone again. Being around so many unpleasant people made her uncomfortable, and she was growing very tired.
She shook her head, and came up to a man wearing reflective aviators, and a camouflage hat. "Is this where we go to get some sleep?" she coldly asked the man,having watched him spit to the side and cross his arms as they approached.

Sky noticed the glares and glared back at them knowing very well that he's setting a bad impression, but didn't care they were showing a worse impression. He looked forward past Yumi ask coldly to a rather large man, he seemed muscular and by the looks of it agitated by that cold question asked. Sky prepared for a fight unknowingly. Sky was tense, he knew if he picked a fight he'd most likely loose and probably get severely hurt, especially due to his right arm being injured from hit bullet wound, he also was tired and plagued by fatigue, so his chances of winning were slimmed. ((Heck, he's having trouble standing!)) The man spit and turned around and crossed his arms, 'Sunuva... Yumi pissed him off...' he thought as the man looked at the three of them, he pointed to a set of bunks for Yumi and Fey and looked at Sky. The man looked down on Sky, standing there Sky looked back at him in defiance of the man looking down on him, the man looked confused for a second and then agitated by Sky's actions,

"You looking for a bunk?" The man grunted, "We're out of bunks here, you'll have to go somewhere else..."

Sky looked at the man and how he was struggling to not to beat Sky six ways to sunday and looked past him seeing a bunk with nothing near it, "What about that one?" he questioned,

Taken" the man laughed

"By who?" Sky said getting up closer to the man smelling a minute amount of liquor in the man's breath

"Me..." The man responded making a slight movement to prepare for an attack

Sky noticed his movement and looked at the man, "I suggest you not to do that..." he warned, "Unless you want all the air removed from your lungs..."

"We'll see about that! " the man said as he threw a punch at Sky whom evaded it jumping back into a more clear area for the fight, the man charged and slammed Sky with his shoulder sending him into a table in the food tent, the man came up and slammed down with both hands, Sky evaded the attack rolling back on his feet and sending a air powered kick into the man's forehead. As the man staggered back holding his head, Sky jumped down from the table and walked forward to the clear area, the man charged forward at Sky with his fist covered in earth, and Sky charged forward with his fist charged with air, they attacked but were stopped by two guards one pinned the man down the other threw Sky down and another man whom looked like a general walked up to them, "What is going on here?!" He asked scoldingly.

Yumi stood with her hand on her hips and looked over at the General, using the sweetest voice she could muster she said, "We came out over looking for a bunk," she dramatically wiped the sweat from her forehead, and looked down at her arm, "and this man refused us."
She pointed through the tents to the guard who told them to head that way, "We were only going where we were told to," she swayed a bit, making her seem weak in the legs, peering up at the general innocently she added, "Your doctor told me that I needed to rest, or my shoulder might become infected..."

The general looked her over, noticing her injury in the sling. To him she looked like a teenage girl with an unfortunate injury, weak and defenseless. Yumi wanted to avoid confrontation with the men.

Shooting her gaze over to the one pinned to the ground, she glared at him, Next time, I'll touch your beating heart... she sneered in her head.

Walking over to where Sky lay, she reached out her arm to help pull him off the ground adding, "It seems to me your men want to test us out...play with fire." Her tone dropped a bit as she eyes the guards, "I can't promise none of them will be burned if they continue."

-Dodge-

Dodge just so happened to be passing by a certain tent when he caught sight of an odd scene. Three kids he'd never seen before stood there, and they looked mighty pissed. The general was there, too, seeming rather hesitant. He caught a few words of what one of the girls was saying. Without stopping to think, Dodge strode over to them. 

"Y'all are looking' for some bunks?" he inquired, his southern accent surfacing. "Y'all can room with me, I got some space." He gestured with his thumb, which he jerked outside the tent. He then put up his hands in a defensive gesture. "No jackasses. Promise," he added, kicking at the ground with his boot and stuffing his hands in his pocket. 

-Fey-

She'd had it with the damn assholes, and was prepared to beat the shit out of them herself, but she let Yumi take care of it. The general eyed them warily. Fey was preparing to bring out the attitude, when someone new appeared. A boy, who appeared to be in his late teens. He was slim and slightly tanned and had an authentic southern accent. He offered them a place to room, "jackass-free" apparently. She crossed her arms and considered this. After a moment, she shrugged and looked at the others.

Sky got up and saw the boy as he brushed himself off and replied with a sigh, "I deal with them fine, but I'll take you up on that offer" He looked at the general, "I'm sorry for the issue I caused" he said as he bowed to him in respect and then looked at the only two whom remained with him and then this boy, he noted that he was actually not a muscle-headded prick like the man whom he fought with and looked at the man, "You're lucky... For now.." He said as he walked over to the tent waiting for the others.

Yumi stared down the troops as she approached the tent, dropping down onto the ground. She really was starting to feel exhausted as she looked up at the others.
"So now what do we do?"
They were at the camp...but she was torn. Should she join the rebellion, or flee? Many of the others had been separated...It was obviously dangerous. She didn't want to leave the rest behind however, and sighed as she scanned the helpful guard. There was something about him...she couldn't quite place. It was different from the others...she realized why after a moment of thought and leaned back.
"So, whats your affinity?"

Dodge laughed a bit at the girl's question. "Strength. It's pretty kick ass, not to brag or anything." He led them across the grass, entering a relatively empty tent. There were several bunk beds, and only one seemed to have ever been used. "Got this one all to myself," he said, climbing onto a top bunk sitting cross-legged and looking at the three. "So then... Introductions! My real name's Flint, but y'all can call me Dodge. Long story. Anywho... Who're you all?" 

Fey blinked at the rather strange young man. He seemed friendly enough, albeit lively. "Fey," she said, then added, smiling a bit. "Telekinesis."

Lifting herself up and dragging her aching body over to the bunk across from him she climbed up to the top. The bed was soft underneath of her as she stretched out and placed her hand behind her head. The light was dimmed through the tent, and she watched as the sunlight danced through the fabric.
"My name is Amaya Yumi, just call me Yumi. I'm a spirit walker."
Looking down at Fey she smiled and asked, "Bunk under me Fey! This ll' be the girls side of the tent," chucking she returned her attention to Dodge.
"Strength huh, that's pretty handy. Maybe you can carry my body around for me," she teased. Then she realized that only Few and Sky would get the joke, and blushed a bit.
"I can detach my spirit from my body."

'Hmm strength... Thats actually helpful...' Sky thought as he looked at Dodge, "My name is Sky, Sky Verron, at your service" he said as he gave a bow of an introduction he lay down on the bunk under Dodge and created a breeze coming in the tent looking at the others , "My affinity... More like a curse... Is wind..." he said softly and regretfully. Sky rolled over and sighed, he finally got the chance to rest, and took it, he closed his eyes and fell asleep.
