Marika nodded, clearly they weren't putting the cards down, and she liked it that way "I'm in the entertainment business" she smiled "so much like yourself, I do what I please most of the year" at this she let her eyes meet his as he was checking her out, the twinkle in her eyes giving away that she busted him. She streched, yawning slightly before she got a gulp from the coffee "so, what do you do for fun in this city?" she incuired.

"Personally? I'll either hit the gym or go for a drive, I'm not too good at sitting still." He shamelessly tossed a wink when he got caught, no point in denying it after all. "But in all truth I do anything that sounds fun if I'm invited, though I'm not above crashing. A note from the experienced, coffee won't do anything in excess of thirty-six hours, better of sleeping or switching to something stronger." He'd gone out on a thin limb when he spoke there,but he liked to consider himself a veteran in all things sleepless and figured he knew tired when he saw it.

Marika took a large sip of her coffee, licking the foam of her upper lip as he winked, leaning a bit towards him "I'm actually soon at 50 hours, but I don't have a place to sleep or something stronger available, unless that was an offer" she winked, sitting back and drinking more coffe. It didn't have to help, it was tasty "otherwise I'll just have to make due with what I've got"

"As it just so happens, that was an offer," after all he really didn't spend much time at his place so there was no harm in inviting people over. " I mean it's not like I'm ever home, but the place is pretty bachelor anyways." He really wasn't sure how she'd react to that bit of information but still, he'd already made the offer, technically twice. "Besides after you break seventy-two, most people even stop responding to energy drinks."

Jade
Still feeling a little sick, Jade got out of bed. She coulnd't stay here all day.
Grab a coffee and go......where? She had compleatly no idea of where she
could go. No matter where she went, it didn't feel like she belonged there.
Maybe it was a sign. Maybe it was time to leave the city?

Jade
No. It couldn't be. She didn't have time for this, not now. God why?! Stupid test!
Stupid Andy! Stupid world! Fuck this shit! Right now she just wanted to jump on the next
plane back to Mexico and forget everything? What would Mali say? After all, it was her apartment.

Marika was about to answer as the bardoor swung open Laurel came trampling in, plumped down on the chair next to her, completely ignoring Mike as she clapped the counter "tequilla" she said holding up three fingers, then adding "irish and some for of stout, guiness or something". She downed the shots, taking the last one from Marikas hand, earning her a bit of an annoyed face from her sister. "Rough day?" Marika asked sarcastically "sorta, yeah" Laurel smiled faintly, first at Marika, then passed her and over at Mike "Hi" se said, waving lightly. "I probably interupted my slut sister now, didn't I?" she said, sounding oversympatical "nun" Marika mumbled annoyed under her breath.

Andy was just home from work, it had taken longer than it should. He couldn't find Jade in the bedroom, but Onyx looked towards the bathroom. Andy carefully knocked the door "Jade? are you alright in there?"

Jade
Damn it. Andy was the last person in the world she would face right now. Ok think
Jade, think! She looked around and her eyes landed on the small bathroom window.
Challenge accepted. She could work with that. She carefully placed the test beetween
her skin and tights before she crawled,surprisingly without a sound out of the window and
landed on the side walk

"Sup," Mike said with raised eyebrows. "She may have been trying to say something, hard to tell when someone makes a sudden entrance." His voice had iced a bit compared to earlier, he didn't get along with the self righteous type. "The name's Micheal," putting on a polite smile he offered a joke to smooth things over. " Both of you feel free to correct me, but I was under the impression that nuns weren't allowed to drink." He did his best to his tone overly innocent as he said this but there was a feeling that he might be walking into a lions den. The notion was pushed to the back of his mind, that could be dealt with when he slipped up. Until then there was no harm in shooting for two, he just needed to play his cards right.
