A man whose dark gifts haunts himself as well as his enemies
Loki is a jester by nature, and his roguish looks backs up his personality. He can be quite the charmer around young ladies with coin to spare, but just as intimidating towards those who would threaten him. His wit and poor control of his tongue is the main source of his worries, though his cheerful and outgoing nature has earned him more friends than enemies. He tends to be aloof but is no loner, and will often go out of his way to help a stranger in need.
However, he hates Orderlies with a passion and loathes everything they stand for, often oppressing those whose only crime was to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He often intervenes with their duties when innocent folk are involved, yet stay out of their way when the guilty and unjust are being punished. Those who cross him will find themselves receiving his full wrath, as he does not tolerate any form of injustice or offense against his honor and will fiercely defend his own principles.
A longbow, which is a family heirloom. While he does not always carry it around, he is adept at archery and has, on occasion, used it against his aggressors although he has never shot to kill.
The elves have a difficult lot - seen as second-class citizens by humans and despised by fey for being visually appealing to humans that elves often found themselves able to trade with humans far easier despite the lack of respect shown to them. Yet Loki grew up knowing one thing - despite their hardships, the elves were still a proud people. They were no slaves and although humans often paid them for baser purposes, they had their dignity. Loki grew up knowing how hard it was to survive among the fey, but also had enough to appreciate that he was one of the lucky few who did not have to worry about his next meal. Or least, did not have to worry about it much.
Yet trouble seemed to follow him where he went - if it wasn't an angry father or suitor wanting to duel him for flirting with a lady, it was the Orderlies who tired of his constant intervention. One night he was returning home when he saw a plume of smoke rising in the distance, and returned home to find that it had been swallowed by the flames. His family was trapped inside. A retaliation for his actions against the Orderlies. They would never admit to using such tactics, but Loki knew full well that even among the fey there was 'honor among thieves' - scores were settled personally, never taken out on the families of the involved party.
He had friends who allowed him to stay with them, but worked hard to rebuild the home he lost and made sure that he never let such a thing happen again. The longbow was the only thing he had left of his family, and he was going to use it to honor their memory and rebuild his life.
