A haphazard drunkard! I wish that summed it up, but there is more to Beck than just the booze that runs through his veins! Beck has a broken sense of chivalry; he finds himself bound by his incomprehensible views of loyalty (a trait Beck feels he picked up from the lesser races he has spent his life serving.) Once he has poured his entire self-being, mind, body and soul into a group or ideal, he can not blindly turn away from its cause. Even if he does not necessarily agree with the actions of those he has set himself to helping. He will do as order or requested because he feels, often against his better judgment, that because he is now a loyal member of the group, he most now adhere to their views and server to the best of his ability. On the other hand, Beck will gladly turn his back against a group and their ideals, if he has not fully allowed himself to build a loyalty to them. Which makes Beck seem self serving, fickle and untrustworthy. This type of loyalty system is also one of Beck weak spots and has been used to manipulate him in the past.
In concerns to love Beck falls short. Beck would claim it is because of his race; as Teyrianians are naturally aggressive, territorial, possessive and seek physical gratification on a constant basis.
