Ashton waited patiently as a woman fussed over his hair, trimming it, spraying it, combing it. Was this all really necessary just to meet his 'wife'. Even thinking about it made him sigh. Did he really have to go through all this? They had stripped him of his normal attire of a long black sleeved shirt and a vest, forcing him in a stiff white button down, a tux jacket and  sleek black pants that accentuated his long legs. a finger gently slid in a diamond stud into his left ear. He grimmaced as his feet were forced into shiny leather shoes. Wasn't this going over the top?

He wondered how Reno was holding up. He knew how his partner was. Ashton was brought a mirror and he raised his eyebrows at himself. He looked sophisticated and rich. He smirked at himself. This was a big change from his gothic emo look he was put into for the last mission.

He let the young man rub in some lotion into his hands and a woman to spray him with a light sweet cologne. Not too bad, he mused to himself. They finally allowed him to stand and he gave a curt nod of approval at them. He tightened the strap of his new silver watch and tapped his smooth skin. They really meant business...

Ashton walked out of the building and to the sleek white limo that waited for them. He slipped inside, stretching out his long legs and leaning back into the plush seat. He caught another sight of himself in the reflection of the window and smirked. If he looked like that... He wondered how Reno would look.

Reno cringed as he watched his beautiful blonde lockes falling to the floor around him. He dare not look into the mirror ahead of him, keeping his eyes focused on the loose thread of his skinnys which he continuously circled around his index finger. All of his hair...He sighed half-heartedly, absolutely dreading his next mission was a complete understatement. And the fact that he was now being forced to get along with others and associate like a normal person might? Well, he found it all a bit too unnerving.
His eyebrows knit together in a expression of loss and anxiety. He let out another sigh as they trimmed up his facial hair and began applying powder? Wasn't that supposed to be for women alone? He would surely wipe the makeup away when he had the studio far behind his tracks.
They dragged him out of the dressing chair by the collar of his white t-shirt that displayed a skating brand. Then a women began measuring out his arms, his waist size and his height and he knew what was coming. The workers stripped him of his last known personality that had been hanging almost lifeless to him now and replaced his attire with a too dressy suit for his liking, and pulled off his black puma's to be compensated and quickly alternated to a pair of dress shoes that were a bit too snug on his feet.
He rolled his eyes, looking down upon them before reluctantly looking up to check out his new form. The corners of his mouth pulled down in a curious inquiry as his eyes ran up and down his new wear. Rubbing the stubble that remained along his chin and cheeks he nodded slowly. It wasn't as bad as he had expected, just a change that would have to become common to look in the mirror at. However, he looked too fancy. He was handed a palmful of accesories, a chain with a religious emblem, a nice watch, and a hat that he was not too particularily fond of. He adjusted his new headpiece and exited the establisment with great relief to be away from the spraying of intoxiating odors and the choking splay of blush.
His shoes clopped along as he quickened his pace to get to the limo. He opened the door swiftly and in the same motion, threw himself into the vehicle. He motioned for the driver to go and in turn, looking forward to see another mirror waiting to see his grimace. This was just all too much in the moment, he was used to change, but his hair? It was his prize. He lowered his head into his hands and shook his head before lifting his cranium to begin rubbing his temples with his fingers.
He finally looked towards his acquaintance to see his own change and barely raised a brow. It was definitely a change, no doubt, but his change had been more dramatic than any agent he had befriended. He let out a small scoff that was intermingled among a laugh of sarcasm. This is going to be just great.

Ashton's thoughts wandered as the limo brought them over to the meeting place. His partner had indeed looked very different. His hair was shorter for one thing... and he was also in a suit. Well... he was too so he guessed it didn't really matter. The ride was silent, both men lost in their own thoughts. Would the two women be there waiting? Traffic had been slightly heavy. The ride took them twice as long as it should have, and the young agent was getting impatient. Sooner the mission started, the sooner he would get it over with. Women were not his thing. He had never before in his life had a relationship before. Most women were easy to keep happy and occupied... but these were agent women. They must surely have a brain of some sort.

The Korean looked out the window as they approached the building. As they slowed, and the ride pulled to a stop. Ashton gazed impassively at the sky. With a sigh, he got out. "Guess it's time..." He said, putting a small smile on his face. He adjusted his silver tie and started walking in with long strides. Nerves were killing him. He would rather have been assigned a different mission. Anything. He had never done this type of work before.

His shiny black shoes made quiet taps against the tile floor as he headed to the room where the women would probably be waiting. Each step, got heavier and heavier. He had to pretend to be in love. How was he to do that if he had never been in love before? As the door got closer, it was getting harder and harder to keep the smile on his face.

He reached out to grasp the door knob and immediately, the cool metal, snapped him out of his anxiety and his smile turned into a slight smirk. This was a job. He was an agent. One of the best. He opened the door and stepped inside.

"Hello, ladies. Forgive us for being so late... We ran into some traffic. I'm Ashton Lee. It's a pleasure working with you." He said smoothly, taking the two women in. He had to admit they were attractive.. but then again.. most agents were.

N’rajah walked into the room behind Stephanie, her eyes searching her designer clutch for some lip gloss. She hadn’t really heard anything Stephanie had said after they entered the room, but once she found the lip gloss, she applied a soft layer and pressed her lips softly together to make sure she had an even coat. Smiling, she looked over at Stephanie and sighed. The girl was having migraines already, and they hadn’t even met the guys yet. Shaking her head, N’rajah walked over to Stephanie and placed a soft hand on her shoulder.

“Don’t worry chica, everything will be alright,” she exclaimed as she looked around the room searching for a fridge of some sort.

“Yes.”

She walked over to the tiny fridge next to the coffee maker; in fact the coffee maker was sitting on top of the fridge. She looked inside and saw that there was only four bottles of water. Rolling her eyes, she grabbed a bottle and quickly opened it. Gulping it down, she turned around upon hearing the adjacent door open. She watched as two men entered, and as she strutted over to Stephanie’s side, she couldn’t help but eye Ashton Lee as he strode in, a smirk crept onto N’rajah’s face as she held her clutch under her right arm and the bottle of water in her right hand.

"Hello, ladies. Forgive us for being so late... We ran into some traffic. I'm Ashton Lee. It's a pleasure working with you." The man said rather smoothly.

N’rajah glanced at Ashton, remembering everything she had read on his file. Shaking her head, she stood still taking in all that the two men had to offer. They were very attractive, the type of attractive that N’rajah enjoyed. Yes, these two men were the type of men that you brought home to meet your parents, but that would remain to be discovered.

“Hello Ashton, I’m N’rajah Evatino and this is Stephanie, it is a pleasure to meet you both. All is forgiven, but only if a promise of dinner is presented,” N’rajah stated in a very sexual tone.

Reno sighed, looking up to the building that had arrived at. It was obvious that he was not pleased to even leave his chair, much less becoming something that he was not remotely close to. A lover so infatuated with another that they decided to reside together in a home. The idea disgusted him. Especially marriage. He swore to himself long ago that he would never get wrapped up among the too cliche feeling that most humans called "love". He scoffed as he exited the limo and followed closely behind Ashton, keeping on his heels a couple of paces behind.
What was love? At one point in his life he thought he was experiencing such an emotion for a certain woman, but as time progressed between the two of them, he grew to realize that it was all in his head and that he was just fooling himself.
He was lost deep in his thoughts by now and pushed the door open after Ashton had left it ajar. Looking past the woman who had addressed the other agent, his eyes focused on the blonde behind her. He gave her a polite bow of his head and introduced himself in a cool voice that vibrated of collected experience.
"Miss Cooper." He gave her alone his full attention before addressing both of them.
"Pleasure to meet the both of you. My name is Reno Kane." He didn't know really how to go on and without skipping a beat he went past the others and straight to the coffee and poured himself a cup, keeping it black for his own liking and taking a long swig, swallowing the bitter elixer. He would surely be getting up again to grab a couple more before the meeting was over. It would give him something to do with himself, rather than sitting their awkwardly not really speaking, and it would also make him more alert and ready for anything that came his way. Coffee was the only caffeine that he typically indulged and now was the perfect time for it.
Since everyone was standing around he decided to go against the crowd and wheeled a chair out from under the desk. He sat himself in it, adjusting his back straight up against the black leather and peering up at his fellow accomplices. He looked to Stephanie again, letting his eyes search hers for only a moment before letting them stray to his hands which he had set on top of the table provided. Sitting, now, all of his nerves had been calmed and he was ready for this to be over with and get the plane ride out of the way as well. He didn't mind airplanes, but he had a major problem with heights so he would have to arrange it that he would not be forced to sit in a window seat. He would surely be tortured through the whole ride if he failed to mention anything about it.
He wasn't prepared to call the meeting, though. He didn't usually speak up unless it really called for it or there was no way that he could hold his tongue which happened on very rare occasions.
Momentarily his mind fluttered back to the thought of acting like a couple. It would be difficult, to say the least. And living with a woman for who knew who long would deam a challenge, but he relished the idea of the impossible. Although it would be a major problem to get over his fear of trusting another. After seeing what could happen when he put too much faith in someone, he was all too wary to start up again.

Ashton was impressed with her calm luring tone of voice. She must have been as... reluctant for this mission as he was.. unless she was crazy

"I'm delighted to meet both of you," Ashton smiled. N'rajah was an interesting woman. He had spent the night before poring over her file. "It would be an honor to have dinner with a pretty lady as yourself..." Maybe he laying it on a little too thick, but that was how all the other ladies he had intereracted with had enjoyed. After a single compliment, they were like putty in his hands. No secrets were with held from him. He glimpsed Reno take a seat with a cup of coffee. He really had no idea why coffee was such a popular drink. It was absolutely vile in his opinion. The hot bitter liquid... give him a cup of iced tea anyday.

Ashton turned his focus back to N'rajah. She certainly was an attractive woman, and the way she held herself showed how confident she was. His little smile widened slightly. He would learn a lot from her. But he still worried. How was he supposed to act like a dutiful, loving husband? That was something he had never done before. He would have to act... trusting.. The word felt foreign in his thoughts and he leaned casually against the wall.

"Well... Miss. Evatino, I hope this experience will be a good one, I will do the best I can to your satisfaction." Ashton gave her a friendly smirk, his eyes amused. Why did he keep worrying? Everything was going to be fine.

Steph smiled appreciatively at N’rajah’s tempt to reassure her. “I just don’t want this mission to end badly. Failing isn’t something I’m used to.” She murmured, her elbow resting on the table as she fidgeted with the edge of her earring. Steph watched as N’rajah made her way over and opening the door to a fridge that looked quite similar to a counter. “Are you kidding me? It would have been much better to swallow down Advil with cold water rather than hot coffee.” She sighed, mentally face-palming herself.

When the door opened, Steph stood up from her chair out of politeness, N’rajah coming to her side with one of her confident struts. Steph examined both the men who had obviously gone through the same procedure as her and N’rajah, both wearing expensive-looking clothing, and slightly different from the photographs she had seen.

"Hello, ladies. Forgive us for being so late... We ran into some traffic. I'm Ashton Lee. It's a pleasure working with you."

“Hello Ashton, I’m N’rajah Evatino and this is Stephanie, it is a pleasure to meet you both. All is forgiven, but only if a promise of dinner is presented,”

"Pleasure to meet the both of you. My name is Reno Kane."

Steph stood there silently as introductions were sent out. It was silly presenting our names to each other when we already knew them, but it still seemed like the proper thing to do. “Let’s just hope that won’t be the cause of our flight taking off without us.” Steph didn’t really know what to say, they basically knew all the basics, but there was still a long list of things to learn. She took her seat once again. This wouldn’t be so bad, I mean, a little difficult to rely completely on someone you barely trust, let alone know, but at least she would still be able to see N’rajah.

Ashton and N’rajah seemed to have no problem starting up their conversation, but Steph and Reno appeared to have a similar trait of being closed off, though Stephanie slightly less. This would either make things more difficult or much easier; they would be soon to find out. Near the back of the files were two unsealed envelopes. Steph dumped its contents onto the table revealing a handful of pictures that were obviously photoshopped considering this was their first meeting. She first looked at the ones of her and Reno: one was taken outside of some store, one arm around the other, each holding a Starbucks cup in their free hand. Another one, dressed to the nines, dancing with each other. It suggested they hadn't known the photo was being taken, bodies pressed close together, eyes fixed on each other, small smiles on their faces that suggested they were sharing a joke. Love. They looked like they were in love. It was scary, the intricate lives they were living. It was a character, it was a person, a person you had to become without losing yourself. Now, that in itself was even more dangerous than being unarmed.

Step glanced up at Reno, he really was handsome, and she noticed his hair was cut shorter than in his picture. She waited to see if his eyes would meet hers, questioning whether he has seen these or not. She returned her gaze to the other pictures, ones of N’rajah and Ashton. Theirs were also similar.

Reno was still fidgeting with his hands before Stephanie spoke, then he politely sat his hands in his lap instead, so they would not distract him. They were similar, as far as he could tell, by their compared amounts of not throwing around much conversation. He was peering up at her, watching her intently. His golden orbs focused on her, trying to figure her out. It would take some time to really get into her head, but something about the way she held herself made him want to know more about her.
She was absolutely beautiful, no one could deny that. Any guy, even himself, would be lucky to have found a catch such as she. Except this was strictly business and he would not let himself even remotely begin to consider the possibility. He was too quirky and in his own head for anyone's good anyway. Any woman that realized how he was would flee when they had the chance.
Clearing his throat, he cast his eyes down, viewing what she was doing with her hands and following her movements as she made them. His brows lowered in an attempt to see over her before she moved away and he was able to have full view of what she was presenting from the two envelopes. Two different images of either couple were portrayed in public, both of them looking quite happy being in the other's presense.
He slid the photo towards him that showed him and Stephanie enjoying a night out, few inches between them, and his present smile which made him chuckle for a moment. He wondered how whoever had caught him in this posture had done it so perfectly. It was rare that he smiled at all and he was intrigued in wondering who had done such a fine job at editing them as well. His eyes focused on the almost invisible line that depicted the background from the two of them.
He raised his eyes again to find Stephanie already watching him, but his face remained expressionless.
"Well, they certainly look happy." He said, directing his comment towards the couple that held each other so protectively, yet entirely in love.

N’rajah had stood still the entire time as Reno and Ashton made themselves comfortable. As she observed the two men, she couldn’t help but notice the photos that Stephanie had retrieved from her purse. The photos of Stephanie and Reno made N’rajah smile as she finally moved from her spot and made her way towards Ashton. She did not stop though, she strutted around the two men as if gauging their responses, as if taking in all the information she could about them simply by looking at them. She circled them three times before coming to a halt in front of Ashton. The man was sitting down in a chair, and N’rajah took this opportunity to sit in the man’s lap. She wrapped her left arm around the back of Ashton’s neck and sat on Ashton’s right leg. Her lightweight frame wouldn’t be too much for the male to handle, after all N’rajah was certain he’d had more weight than her on his lab before.

Sighing, N’rajah looked over at the photos of her and Ashton. She could only smile at the marvelous work done on them. They actually looked like an adoring couple, and the fact that she was sitting in the lap of a man she had just met didn’t make things any more distinguishable. N’rajah turned her attention back to Ashton and simply winked.

“So tell me a little about yourself Ashton,” N’rajah began, “give me all the juicy details honey.”

As she said this, she ran a hand through Ashton’s hair. She was being rather flirtatious, but this was a way she gathered information about a man. As she waited on Ashton’s response, she looked over at Reno who had made a comment about the photographs of he and Stephanie.

“Yes, they do don’t they,” N’rajah teased.

Ashton watched through half closed eyes as his 'wife' started walking slowly around them, her gaze sharp. She was a clever one.... But so was he. His mouth tilted up in an easy smirk as she took a seat on his lap. She was certainly fit. He could probably have picked her up with one arm if he had wanted to. Her hand crept up into his silly black hair and Ashton let his fingers slide up to her waist. He knew how to act. His eyes glinted. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Stephanie pull out an envelope. It was filled with altered photos and his eyebrows rose up comically.

"Well, I guess it's time to make some real photos, hmm?" his other hand traced a little pattern on N'rajah's thigh and he couldn't help but notice how smooth her skin was. She was also toned, her legs were firm and he had to appreciate her beauty. Her scent was enticing and he smiled at her. This mission was starting to feel kinda fun.

He did not answer her question right away. He didn't like to rush things.

"Well, Miss. Evatino, I think it's time we caught our plane. Maybe I'll let you indulge on some information then ..." he rose slowly, his arms supporting her as she slid off his lap.

"The plane takes off in..." he looked at his watch. "7 minutes."

Reno was thouroughly ammused at the show going on right beside him, his eyes sliding to the right to watch N'rajah sliding onto his friend's lap. He gave a slight, crooked smile, but it dropped almost as fast as it had come.
He was intrigued by her forwardness, obviously not caring that there were others present in the room. Ashton offered her a smooth remark and he nodded once in agreement that they, indeed, needed to find time to make more "meaningful memories".
His gaze lifted, away from the two that seemed already wrapped up in what they were doing and to Stephanie. He rose from his chair and took her hand in a gentle grasp, holding it out in front of his until he gave her a low bow of his head, the corner of his lips slightly tugging at the corners.
"M'lady." He could not help but to be completely respectful to her. He was to all women, unless they gave him the obvious idea that they had no respect for themselves.
He kissed her lightly on the knuckles, then removed himself from her completely from her and dropped her hand, turning back to Ashton who had just informed the group of the time they had left.
"Hmm," He checked his own new watch to insure they only had such a short few minutes, but he was not let down from Ashton's prior comment.
"We can make it." He said, before going back to Stephanie and letting her take the lead out the door as he held it open for everyone to leave the room. Before he had gotten up he had swiftly drained his cup of coffee and quickly retrieved another and began sipping it slowly as he held the door ajar. He really hated rushing, but the way the limo driver had held up in the traffic, he figured they would be alright.

Steph raised an eyebrow ever so slightly. It didn’t surprise her too much when she had noticed N’rajah already enjoying this and settling herself in her new partners lap. How did she do it, though? How was she always able to make herself so comfortable with someone she’d barely even known? Stephanie definitely admired her for it. She knew she’d be able to put on the act when it came time to, but right now it felt so awkward, in her mind, at least. Maybe she was just over-thinking things. She tended to do this a lot, though usually coming in hand when it came to missions.

"Well, they certainly look happy." Stephanie looked back to Reno after he looked through the pictures she handed him. ”They certainly do. Or, we certainly do.” She replied, N’rajah following up with her own agreement as well.

It was almost time for them to leave. Ashton and N’rajah seemed to become more comfortable with each other, but Reno and Steph? She couldn’t help but feel like she was holding them back. What was it about love that made her so nervous, even if it wasn’t real? Stephanie took a deep breath, brushing away all the nerves the haunted her as Reno stood, taking her hand, and giving a gentle peck to her knuckles.

"The plane takes off in... 7 minutes." She heard Ashton say after a few other words she didn’t quite comprehend as her attention was elsewhere.

"We can make it." Reno replied after him. The walk to the airport would only take a few minutes, and with the amount of security lines, they’d get through even quicker. Though none of them were required to start their act until they reached the public, Steph figured she’d need a little warm up as well. She closed her eyes for less than a second, replacing her entire self with the character of a woman deeply in love and excited to move into their new home; Time to play.

“Oh, baby, I just can’t wait to see our new house.” She said, true excitement filling her eyes. “I’m sure it’s just so beautiful!” Stephanie took hold of Reno’s hand after they left the boring square room. A subtle hint of a slight southern accent came out when she said ‘baby.’ Oh, god, though; the pet names. It had almost burnt her tongue. 'Baby' wasn't that bad, fortunately, so it had been a nice choice on her part. She could've definitely done worse. 'Sugarpie,’ 'honeybear,' or the crowd favorite: 'pookie.’ The possibilities were endless, really; she had so many options to choose from.

As the four of them made their way to the entrance of the building, they retrieved all their luggage full of their new designer clothes. Steph let go of Reno’s hand and slipped her arm through his, looking for support from walking with her tall heels. They had only walked a short two minutes before they reached the airport, yet it felt like she had walked at least a mile. Damn these high-heels. Was all Steph could think about as they checked in and made their way to security.

Steph also made sure to entwine her fingers with Reno's whenever she could, smiling up at him with nothing but sincerity and love. When they got to security she held onto his shoulders while she stepped out of her shoes, even though her balance was impeccable. And then, despite the warning a small sign demonstrated, forgot to take off her bracelet and set off the metal detector. Luckily the second time through she stepped through the arch way without any obnoxious beeping, though the security guard looked as though he wished he had so he could pat her down. Maybe it was a good thing she didn't have a gun.

N’rajah giggled slightly as she slid off of Ashton’s lap and noticed Reno’s attempt at breaking the ice between he and Stephanie. It made N’rajah smile, but the news that they only have 7 minutes to get to the airport only partially concerned her. She felt that they would make it, but she wasn’t really sure if they would with such a tight time constraint, still they exited the room, N’rajah walking side by side with her “husband”. She nearly burst into laughter listening to Stephanie call Reno ‘baby’. Her southern accent had come through and N’rajah could only giggle slightly. She interlaced her hand with Ashton’s and walked out of the building towards the airport.

The walk to the airport was alright for her since she was used to walking in heels, but she could tell that Stephanie was not enjoying it. What seemed like hours were only minutes as they entered into the airport, luggage in tow. They checked in, and made their way to security. This part N’rajah disliked, for she had to remove her jewelry and the entire ordeal was laborious, still she removed her jewelry, stepped through the scanner, and retrieved it all in one swoop. She started putting her jewelry back on the moment she had stepped through the scanner and checked herself in a pocket mirror she retrieved from her clutch. Everything was in place and she could only smirk as she waited for Ashton to walk through. She dug through her clutch looking to make sure everything that she had filled it with was there. Satisfied, she stepped to the side and waited. The plane ride was bound to be long, but it would be enough time for her to divulge any further information she needed from Ashton.

He gazed at her and smiled adoringly as they walked to the airport, their hands locked tightly. For her sake, Ashton shortened his stride and matched her step by step. He glanced down at her feet. Heels. He mentally winced. How women could walk in those, he had no idea, but he had to admit she certainly looked good in them.

So much physical contact with a person he has just met... Kind of unnerved him. He was actually a better actor than he thought. N'rajah really seemed to be enjoying this and he smirked as she reluctantly took off all her jewelry. He then followed after her, a burly man running a metal detector on him. He just smiled pleasantly.

"Think you forgot something, love," he leaned into her, his lips close to her ear, and expertly clasped the thin silver necklace around her neck. She really looked stunning and he could feel the envious gazes on both N'rajah and Stephanie. If he really was in love with her, he would probably have stuck out his chest with pride, but Ashton just put a possessive arm around her thin waist.

The crowds were whispering and he gave them a cool look.  Ashton didn't particularly enjoy it when people watched him, especially people he did not know. But them again, he had always been a very paranoid agent. He led her to the doors where they would then board the plane. Ashton smirked down at her

"Well... Shall we go in Wife?" he asked, there it was official. He had acknowledged N'rajah as his wife and there would be no turning back now. At least she was attractive... And a good actress. This mission may be easier than he thought.

Reno lightly chuckled at her newly aquired accent. Although he as well had developed his stage persona and it looked as though he were agreeing with her. He offered her his first real smile as they emerged from the drab room. He did, indeed, hope the place they were staying would prove to be worthy of the trip, but he figured he would not be let down. He had been informed of its location and he had knowledge that the area around was indeed, very nice.
Reno tightened on her hand lightly, his eyes seeming to shine with pure love that looked believable if anyone were to observe the two of them.
"Did I mention that you look very lovely today, darling?" He asked in a chipper tone as they entered into the airport, closing in on the security.
He could already feel the eyes of numerous spectators surrounding them, their hard eyes never leaving his wife and he swore after looking over his shoulder, that there were a few females oggling him as well. When they had realized he was in knowing of them, they obviously turned away and began giggling. He could only smirk. They were way too young for him anyway. They couldn't have been over seventeen.
He snapped his focus back to the metal detector that was coming his way and he readily began removing his own accesories and placing them in the box before stepping through then hurredly replacing everything he had just taken off.
He was eager to get out of the airport, he hated such crowded areas and he was in dire need of getting on the plane and landing again. It all seemed too far away for him.
He pulled Stephanie closer to him in the crook of his arm which he placed around her shoulders after moving her hair aside as to not snag a stray piece on his watch then leaned in to kiss her on the head. When he pulled away, he was again faced with too many men to count that were looking her up and down and he just shook his head in obvious distaste. Why did males have to be so obvious? At least when women were interested it was slightly harder to tell and they were much more conspicupuous when they checked guys out. He on the other hand, acted more like a woman in that way, rather catching quick glances then full on staring like a dog in heat. He brushed past on of the men who gave Stephanie a cat call and that about set off his fuse right there. If he'd had a gun on him, he might have used it, but not here. Wife or not, she was a woman who deserved respect and any guy that was set his sights any other way deserved a few good blows.
"She'll pass, beer gut." He called to the man and continued walking, smiling down at her again.

"I could say the same for you." Stephanie giggled, letting Reno pull her in to kiss her head. As she looked around the large open space of the airport, she noticed cute families returning from, obviously, somewhere hot, their skin deeply tanned. She also noticed all the men staring her and N’rajah’s way, and all the young girls who were obviously extremely jealous of them regarding the fact of how gorgeous their companions are. Though thinking of it, they did make a pretty good couple; both rather good-looking, and Stephanie being around the height of Reno’s nose, her heels giving her a bit of a boost.

As they continued to walk closer towards the boarding area, they passed a man who let out a rude cat-like sound. Steph sneered; disgusting. What kind of man would treat a woman like that? ...Someone who obviously hasn’t had one in his life for quite a while. She laughed to herself. "She'll pass, beer gut." Steph looked back at Reno as he smiled down at her. She smiled back brightly, resting her hand loosely on his side closest to her. She was glad she wasn't stuck with someone who would have brushed that off as if it were nothing, as if it were right to disrespect someone that way. She was thankful he wasn't a jerk.

By the time they made it to their boarding station, Terminal C, gate 16, the general-boarding announcement had just finished. Steph clung to her purse, dragging Reno into the line. “I believe we have...” She looked intently at the tickets. “Row 13, seats E and F.”
When they finally reached the front of the line, Steph handed over their two tickets and ID’s, which had been changed to read their married names, and were perfectly legitimate.

“Have a great flight.” The woman smiled, her eyes holding onto Reno unnecessarily longer. They walked through the long tube and into the plane where they met another flight attendant to double check their tickets. “1, 2, 3, 4... 13. Here we are. Do you want the middle or the window seat?” She smiled up at Reno, allowing her eyes to gleam with affection.

Reno eyes seemed to brighten seeing such a dazling smile coming from such a beautiful woman made for him alone. She seemed happy that he had stuck up for her, but what else would have been expected?
He smirked as she handed over the boarding passes and the woman behind the counter seemed entranced by him. He was used to these looks, so it was quite easy to shrug off.
When they headed towards the plane he clung to the idea of being forced to sit near a window. What a God awful trip it would be. Taking off was already going to be a problem for him, but if he was going to be forced to watch the ground leave, well, he was worried that he may vomit all over his wife.
They entered the plane and -bless her- Stephanie asked him first which of the seats he wanted. He was going to thank her for giving him a choice but he didn't really want her to know one of his weaknesses, although when they would begin rolling on the runway, she would likely figure it out for herself anyway.
"This seat is just fine." He played off smoothly, as if it were chosen by random. "Besides, I'm sure you want to watch the ground. Such a...beautiful view." Beautifully horendous. He thought to himself as he greatfully plunged himself into the seat next to her's.
He gave a deep sigh of relief that he made unaudible and closed his eyes, resting his hand into his open fingers and let his thumb massage his temple.
I probably look like a sissy to her. He made a slide glance towards her with his golden orbs before squeezing them tight again as the plane began to roll slowly then gained speed.
He could no longer even sit in his chair, he didn't want her to watch him go through this much suffering so soon. It wasn't likely to him, but she could hold it over his head later on.
"If you'll excuse me, dear." He basically was begging to get away and stood quickly, going to the bathroom that was thankfully unoccupied. Luckily the toilet had a seatbelt. It was probably in case they went through bad turbulence or something.
He sat himself down quickly after putting the lid down and strapped himself in, grimacing as he held his head again in both hands after placing the trashcan in front of him just in case something were to happen.
He couldn't hear it, but his stomach informed him that they were slowly lifting off of the ground. He cringed, gritting his teeth together so hard and for such an elongated amount of time that his jaw began to grow sore.
Finally the plane leveled off and he was able to unclench his mouth. He began rubbing his jaw a moment then took a quick look in the mirror. He was glad that he did before leaving. He was drenched in sweat and he looked absolutely sick. He was glad he had stuck two nausea chewables in his pocket before leaving and popped them into his mouth, regretfully chewing them and swallowing without need of water. They were disgusting, but in a few minutes his color would return to his face as well as his feeling of sickness would subside.
He exhaled a deep, deep breath of relief, dabbing off the beads off of his forehead, cheeks, and neck. He watched himself slowly turn back to normal then returned to his seat, as chipper as he had been prior to leaving.
"Sorry, I had to take a call." He smiled lightly, letting it fall as he turned his eyes away from the window completely. He propped his foot up on his knee while the other foot bounced in a hurry. He needed a book or something to distract himself. He hadn't even grabbed his Ipod before he left home so he would either be talking the whole time or sleeping, possibly burrowed in his own thoughts, he figured. Stephanie didn't seem as though she was open, either, but he didn't mind in the least.

As Ashton placed N’rajah’s necklace so elegantly back onto her neck, N’rajah thanked him with a soft kiss on the cheek. The two walked towards the loading area, but as they walked only a few inches behind Stephanie and Reno, N’rajah couldn’t help but feel hundreds of eyes on her and it didn’t bother her in the slightest; however, when the man commented on Stephanie with such distaste and disrespect, N’rajah’s eye twitched a bit. She hated it when men acted as if they knew not how to approach a woman. She looked lovingly at Ashton and smiled.

“Hold on a minute,” she said as she backtracked tapping the man softly on the shoulder, “excuse me.”

“What
.” The man began as he turned to receive a hard knee into his groin. The man doubled over in pain and N’rajah looked him in the eye.

“Learn how to approach a woman,” she said as she pushed his head, allowing his upper body to follow suit with his lower body, hitting the floor with a thud. The crowd gawked at her moxie and simply stared at her afterwards, not daring to say a word, not even the security guards acted they just looked at her, both with lustful eyes and fearful ones

She returned to her “husband” and entered through the next check point. Their tickets were checked and their last names matched. Sighing, N’rajah strutted onto the plane with her husband and found their seats. She decided to take the window seat so that she would be able to rest upon Ashton’s shoulder if she so desired. When the plane took off, she couldn’t help but notice Reno pass them heading towards the bathroom. A smirk crept onto her face as she realized that he must’ve been the type to not fly. She knew he would probably suffer from motion sickness or something to that degree and she could only shake her head as she looked back at Stephanie and winked before adjusting herself in her seat. When the plane leveled out, and N’rajah found herself with nothing to do, she turned to Ashton and smiled.

“So tell me,” she began resting her chin softly on Ashton’s shoulder, “anything interesting you want to share with me babe?”

He looked on disdainfully as the guy fell in pain and put his arm back around N'rajah. Some people were so disgusting... It made him want to hurt the disrespectful jerk, but his wife had already taken care of that and he met all gazes proudly. What other woman would beat up a man? He followed her onto the plane and didn't object when she took the window seat. Ladies first and all that.. He wondered when they would get to their house. Ashton always got jet lagged for the first couple of days. He preffered driving, but no. They said that they were to be taken by plane. Heck, even the train would have been better and everyone knew how much he hated those. But at least he never suffered as much as his partner did.

Ashton couldn't hold in his smirk as Reno basically flew to the bathroom. Poor guy and his motion sickness. Then his gorgeous wife spoke and he turned his attention onto her. Her head resting in the crook of his shoulder. He marveled at how good they were acting. It actually seemed believable...

"Interesting?" He gave her an adoring smile. "Well, my dear, I can't say that I'm that interesting..." he really couldn't. For some reason, he could never seem to talk about himself. Every time he tried, his mind would go blank and he wouldn't know what to say. It happened every single time. "But I bet you are, love, tell me about yourself, N'rajah." Ashton tucked a stray stand of hair behind her ear and pressed his lips against her smooth forehead. His mind focused, ready to memorize anything that she told him.

Stephanie took her spot next to the window. Taking off and landing had always excited her, she'd even taken a few lessons towards getting her pilots license, but this current mission had interrupted it. As Reno sat in the seat next to her, she could see the tenseness reflecting through his eyes, flying was obviously not something he particularly enjoyed. The plane began to move onto the runway where they would take off from. "If you'll excuse me, dear." Reno said. Steph smiled. “Be careful, darlin’.” She whispered to him knowing the plane could get pretty jerky. She rested her head back again seeing N’rajah wink. Steph returned it, still loving how she dealt with the man inside the airport.

The scene from the window began to pass by faster and faster until all you could see was the cars and long buildings begin to shrink as the plane elevated into the sky. When the movement of the plane soothed out, Reno returned to the seat next to her.

"Sorry, I had to take a call." Stephanie simply smiled again and placed her hand over his. She could hear the soft voices of N’rajah and Ashton as they conversed and exchanging details about themselves. Steph knew it would be a good idea to do the same, figured something would come up in a conversation they would eventually have with the suspected neighbours.

“So... what do ya want for dinner tonight? What’s your favourite?” She said cheerfully, the little southern accent hinting in her voice again which would barely even be noticed by most people. Though knowing his favourite food wasn’t exactly something so important that she needed to know, it would at least start some sort of communication between them. Starting small was always good as well.
