Childhood/Family Life:
The head of the Arnault clan is Bernard Arnault, age 67, who is a French business magnate, investor and art collector. He has been the chairman and Chief Executive Officer of LVMH since 1989. From 1973 to 1990, Bernard was in a marriage that produced four children. Following his divorce from this wife, he spent some years dating and returning his focus to his business. In 1997, he met Jacqueline McEnroe, a young artist who was living in New York City at the time. The two began dating, and wed a year later. In 1999, they had their first child, a son named Nolan, and everything seemed to be going great for the new little family. As always, when things seem too good to be true, they probably are, and the Arnaults got a wake up call when Bernard received a legal document in the mail demanding that he submit to a paternity test to two children who were born just months after their son. A one night stand that Bernard had had during his marriage produced the two little girls, and though it nearly broke up his marriage with Jacqueline, after some begging and pleading, she agreed not to leave him. On of the stipulations of that agreement, though, was that he fight for custody of his daughters, and surprisingly (or maybe not surprisingly, given that the woman he was battling worked at a burlesque club he had visited), a hefty sum of cash was enough for the woman to relinquish custody of the two girls that she had never wanted in the first place, either. Though their first few months on the planet were hectic, its not something that Charlotte and Juliette were ever really forced to relive, because Jacqueline treated and raised them just like they were her own children.

Juliette's childhood was something that people dream about. Her family was as financially secure as they came, and no wishes were too big to be granted. She attended a private K-12 school with her siblings for her K-8 years, and at least socially, she thrived there. She didn't do quite as well academically, but at least during that time, it genuinely was because she was struggling with learning disabilities and just not being intelligent enough to keep up with her classmates. As she grew older, her own tendency to neglect school work played a role in it too, but it's important to note that even as a child, she struggled with school. The social comfort she had at school made her love New York though, so when Charlotte managed to get herself expelled, and their parents insisted all of the siblings transfer together, Juliette was devastated. For one, she didn't want to leave her friends and New York. That was her entire life, and moving across the country, and being forced to live in dorms was daunting to her. Nothing could compare to the life she had in New York. Beyond just the expected stress of having to give up her friends and what she was comfortable with, leaving home was also scary for Juliette for more personal reasons. Out of her siblings, she had always been the one who was the most sensitive, and the most needy in terms of extra TLC. She was exceptionally close with her mother, and not having someone to take care of her left her feeling shaken... and very home sick for her first few weeks at Crossroads. It ended up being a very necessary push in giving her the bit of independence and responsibility that she needed, but she didn't see it that way when she was fourteen. Additionally, only a year before starting at Crossroads, Juliette had been diagnosed with an eating disorder, based on weight-perception. She was heavily treated for it during her eighth grade year, and was nearly in remission by the time that she left for Crossroads, but that sudden change didn't do much good in keeping her on track health wise. Today, she's far better than she was a few years ago, and though she still has some tendencies to suggest that she's no where near "recovered" yet, she's getting there. College has made her busy enough that she doesn't have as much time as she wants to to get very caught up on her habits and tendencies, but for the most part, it's her sorority life over the actual college work that distracts her in a positive way. Fulton and college in general has been a... transition for Juliette. Boarding school in itself was a step towards independence, but college is the real deal, and Kat has definitely struggled to be a responsible student and person, but she's doing better sophomore year than freshman.

Quirks//Habits//Oddities:
She's emotional and cries easily, be it from true distress, or just being stressed out and tired. She's dramatic and can twist stories to see ten times more horrible than they really are, if she's the victim. She is an extremely picky eater, and it's likely related to her eating disorder struggles. It's quite obvious when she's really upset, because that's the only time she can manage to not talk.

Good personality traits:
Exuberant, Affectionate, Genuine, Warm

Bad personality traits:
Shallow, Absent-minded, Emotional, Impulsive

Personality:
Unlike her siblings, Juliette never felt the need to break out of that trust fund baby mold. She comes from wealth and realized that at an early age, and isn't afraid to embrace, and sometimes even flaunt it. She's that girl who you can tell, only by one minimal conversation with her, that she's never had to work a day in her life, is oblivious to many "real world" problems, and probably will never work half as hard as other people work in a year, in her entire lifetime. She has daddy funding her credit card with a seemingly unlimited pile of money at the other end, and never hesitates to splurge on a new pair of Chanel boots that she just has to have. If her siblings weren't ambitious or at least grounded in their own right, maybe it would be harder to blame her for that, because it could just be blamed on her upbringing. You could brush off her selfish, materialistic ways with her just being raised poorly, and her parents allowing her to believe that money and "things" were the most important things in the world. Nolan and Charlie aren't like that though, which definitely alienates Juliette as the "brat" of the family. Luckily for her, her innocent brattiness is often preferred to Charlotte's actual rebellious ways, so it's just easier for her to get away with it, despite being seventeen, and at an age where a lot of the shit she pulls normally shouldn't fly. Although she is obsessed with having the newest and nicest everything, shopping has become more than just getting new things for Juliette. It's therapeutic for her, a way to distract herself from any problems or stress going on in her life. Though it's helping in the short term, it's apparent that her reckless spending habits keep her distanced from the real world. It might not be something that is apparent to those in her inner circle who are very similar to her financially, but to an average Joe, it would be very clear that Juliette is fairly delusional. Maybe everyone who lives a life of such privilege is, to some extent, but when she has a fit over not being able to take some international vacation or buy a ridiculously expensive new dress, she actually thinks it's as much of an injustice as someone being deprived of their basic human rights.

She can be shallow, often judging people based on their appearance and the little information that she's heard about them through gossip. While she probably would talk about them behind their back, she wouldn't normally bully or taunt anyone to their face. She claims that it's okay to be a bitch, but not to be mean, and when it comes to gossip, she's more of a follower than the mastermind behind it. Although she doesn't mind contributing to the rumors circulating about other people, she does become very emotional when ones start spreading about her. She's sensitive to criticism and is usually the girl who ends up hysterically crying about a problems from months ago after a night of drinking. Her biggest insecurity is her weight. She has been diagnosed with an eating disorder when she was thirteen, and although she recognizes that she's statistically underweight, it doesn't change the way that she feels about her body. This is one more reason for why she tends to get away with her behavior in her family. She was always seen as the weak one, in a sense... the one who needed that extra attention, who needed to be "handled with care" and looked after just a bit more than the others. Claiming that her parents developed a soft spot for her that they didn't give to the other children probably isn't accurate, but it's worth noting that both of her parents realized early on that Juliette was sensitive, and therefore, they did their best to offer her a little bit more wiggle room than the others.

Despite the flaws, Juliette is loyal to her friends. She's affectionate, reliable and warm, but her impulsive and absentmindedness can sometimes get the best of her. When she's in a moment of gossiping and isn't thinking thoroughly, she's known to accidentally air her friend's secrets to other people, without even realizing that there's anything wrong with that. In almost every area of her life, it's clear that Juliette is impulsive. Whether it's buying thousands of dollars worth of clothes that she has no intention of ever wearing, or drinking herself into a blackout state, it's hard for her to control herself when she's in the mood to indulge in something. She can be reckless and make stupid choices, but her friends can all agree that she's always a fun person to have around. She's spontaneous, bold and energetic, always being up for a night out or an adventure.

Greatest joys in life:
She loves new things, shopping, her sorority, fashion, and her parents.

Greatest fears:
She fears needles, insects, gaining weight, and losing control.

Life philosophy:
"You still have a lot of time to make yourself be what you want."
by S.E. Hinton, The Outsiders

Likes:
Autumn β†’ Fall in New York offers the perfect weather, and it's one of the biggest thing she misses about being in California for most of the year. They get some season change, but not as much as the north east offered.
Travelling β†’ She isn't the biggest fan of flying but loves being in new and different places, especially if it's tropical or makes for a good Instagram picture.
Anything new β†’ This is relevant to material things, because she isn't a fan of new and change in any other sense. She loves getting gifts, buying things for herself, and just generally relishing in something new and fresh.
Alcohol β†’ Being underage isn't much of a hassle when you have connections, a family name, and lots of money.

Dislikes:
Driving β†’ She tried taking her road test two times over the summer, and failed both times. She'll readily admit that she's a horrible driver and at this point, has no plans on taking the test again.
Needles β†’ She's that person who's still going to cry when they're getting their flu shot at forty years old.
Soda β†’ She'll drink it in a mixed drink, but never on its own.
Fish β†’ She's a very picky eater in general, but there are certain things like fish, that she has always just refused to try. She doesn't even know if she likes it or not, she's just too scared to try it.

Thoughts on Greek Life:
Juliette knew, ever since high school, that she wanted to be in a sorority. Her mother always raved about her social life in college, thanks to her sorority, and after seeing them portrayed in movies and on television, she just knew that it would be the place for her. Really, the idea of joining a sorority was the only thing that made the idea of going to college seem bearable to her. At first, because of her grades, Juliette knew that she wouldn't have even been able to get into Fulton, but thankfully, her parents were able to pull some strings to get her in. It's a given that she ended up an Alpha, given her legacy, her money, and more than anything else, her personality. She believes that it's the only reputable house in the system and she definitely does look down on the other sorority houses, and any fraternity other than the Beta house.

Plans for after college:
Juliette has absolutely no idea about what she wants to pursue, career wise, after college. She thinks that she will end up doing something under her father's company, but has no set aspirations in that realm. Right now, she's just set on the idea of moving to New York after she graduates.

Jack couldn't even blame the way that he eagerly intertwined his fingers with Eliana's, and abandoned Juliette's side the moment that Eli hinted that they should spend some time alone, on him being drunk. He probably would try to, given that he liked to act like he was the suave one; the one who was in control of situations like this, and the one who was working the other person into his bed. However, even if the Sigma was stone cold sober, Eliana didn't usually even have to open her mouth to have Jack nearly drooling. She could be wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt, for all he cared, so when you added in the fact that tonight she looked like the most beautiful girl in the entire place, it was a given that no matter what state of mind he was in, he would have stopped, dropped and rolled for the girl. Besides, a girl showing interest in him without any of those mind games was actually alluring, and given that Jack and Eli were actually friends, outside of the occasional sex, he had all the more reason to want to spend some time with her. He could, however, blame the way that he literally didn't even explain or apologize for his desertion of Juliette on the alcohol. Normally, he would have at least apologized, or falsely promised to come back, maybe even make up some line about she had to understand that a guy needed to do what a guy needed to do. Instead, though, it was like his attention on Juliette evaporated the moment that Eliana's soft fingers touched his hand, and complimented him in a way that his dramatic self decided was incredibly reflective of how he much preferred Eli over Amaris, anyway. At least one of them appreciated him! "I'm all ears, my lady," he grinned as they left the table, not even a thought on his mind to glance back at the two girls that they left.

She definitely was not as noticeably drunk as Jack was, and that was because she did hold her liquor well, but even still, she could feel it, herself, that she was more drunk than she wanted to be. If she had been more sober, it would have been possible for her to wait another few hours for the event to end, and for her to make it back to the Zeta or Sigma house to have some fun with Jack. If she was more sober, actually, it was quite plausible that she wouldn't even feel the need to satisfy herself with Jack being involved at all, but that wasn't the case tonight. It wasn't the case so much so, that within two minutes of entering the venue once more, from the outdoor patio, the duo ended up in a storage closet that they found only after wandering down an "employees only" hallway,. At first, the room was pitch black, and it was only by accident that they came across the light switch once the door was shut and Jack had Eliana's body pressed up against the wall. "Ouch! Get off!" she hissed, feeling the light switch dig into her back.

Jack had only just started to kiss Eliana and had not even started to remove any of his clothes when the girl pushed back against him with the complaint. Having a quickie in a storage closet of a populated venue probably could only lead to sex that was awkward, so maybe Jack should have expected that, but he didn't think that thirty seconds in to it, Eli would already be over him. "What?" he answered cluelessly, though he pulled away like she requested.

The expression on his face, as if he had been truly hurt and offended by her wanting to pause for just a mere second made Eliana want to laugh. She knew that explaining what the reason for it was would only ruin the moment even more, so after flicking the lights on, she readjusted herself, wrapped a hand around the Sigma's neck and whispered, "Okay, time in."

Jazmyn made a mental note on how she had to remind Eliana of how much of a horrible sorority sister she was tomorrow, for just abandoning her like that. She would have stopped the president in her tracks now, by yelling something out about it, but in truth, she couldn't blame Eli for wanting to have a little bit of fun tonight with Decker. Plus, Jazmyn decided that if Eliana ended up at the Sigma house tonight, it would work out in her benefit anyway, because she would be able to ditch the couch in favor of stealing the older girl's bedroom. That would only be necessary, though, if Michaela actually managed to get Charlotte into her bed, which Jazmyn was still heavily doubting. Almost as soon as Eli and Jack ran off, the pretty brunette that Jack had brought over turned away to leave, too. With a raised eyebrow, and the semblance of a smirk on her face, Jazmyn spoke to stop her. "Where are you running off to?"

"Why do you care?" Juliette sighed, her tone dramatic and annoyed, as she turned back to look at Jazmyn. Truth be told, Juliette easily could have pretended that she had not heard Jazmyn, and just kept walking. She didn't need to participate in conversation or a back and forth with the Zeta, but she couldn't let things be that simple. She never seemed to be able to, when it came to Jazmyn. She would never admit that it was because she liked interacting with the Zeta, but at the same time, it was hard to reason that someone would continue to interact with someone if they genuinely didn't like them.

"I figured you could stay a little while," Jazmyn pondered, her voice seemingly innocent, as if Juliette was being sharp for no reason. "Sit, or better yet, buy me a drink and then sit." Playing with Juliette's mind was amusing to Jazmyn, so she couldn't act like keeping the brunette around was going to be strenuous for her, but even so, if she could get a free drink on top of some entertainment, she would. Normally, the Zeta was content with purchasing her own drinks, but when it came to the Arnaults, she was happy with pushing them to spend their money first. The majority of the Alphas in general liked to boast about being well off to begin with, and given that Jazmyn knew just how well off the Arnaults were on a more personal level, she had absolutely no guilt about milking that when the opportunity arose.

"I'll buy you a drink and then leave. I don't have time to sit and chat." Not with you, at least, Juliette thought after speaking, though she was wise enough to not actually be that rude and say it aloud. Again, the biggest reason for why she had not already turned away was because she wasn't sure that she would enjoy herself anymore than she would with Jazmyn, being surrounded by boring alumni. Additionally, though, there was a part of her that felt like the eye rolls that came so naturally had to be forced a little bit, because she didn't look down on Jazmyn quite as much as she acted like she did.

"My bad, my bad, I forgot how busy you Alpha girls are," Jazmyn answered, shaking her head as if she were ashamed at her own stupidity. She was standing up now, though, leading Juliette to the outdoor bar that wasn't too far away. When they reached it, and caught a bartender's attention, she kept her eye contact focused on Juliette. "In that case, make it two Long Island Iced Teas. I'll stock up while I'm blessed with a second of your time." Jazmyn was still convinced that she could get Juliette to stick around for a little while and entertain her, at least until she lured Cyrus or one of the other worthwhile people at this party, out here, but just in case she wasn't able to, she wanted two drinks to keep her hands out of her own wallet for the night.

In a similar fashion to how Charlotte had acted earlier at the bar, Juliette placed her credit card and fake ID on the bar counter, offering little acknowledgement to the bartender who picked them up before accepting Jazmyn's order. The idea of buying Jazmyn drinks didn't bother Juliette really. For one, it was her parent's money that was being used, so it was obviously easier to be careless when it wasn't money she had worked for, and secondly, she decided that if Jazmyn would leave her alone for the night if she did this, then it would be worth it. As they waited for the bartender to return, Juliette was able to mull over what Eliana had said to Jack minutes before. "She was joking, right?" she asked, after a long pause that occurred as Juliette wondered if it was even worth bringing up.

"What?"

"That girl... Eli? She was joking about what she said about Charlotte and Michaela, right?"

"What'd she say about them?" Jazmyn genuinely wasn't sure what Juliette was referring to, having been zoned out for enough of Eliana's conversation with Jack that she couldn't immediately remember what was said.

"That they're 'sharing a bed'. Charlotte knows Audrey would kill her."

Jazmyn had to laugh at how bothered Juliette suddenly seemed by Eliana's claim. It was cute, in a way, because while Juliette claimed that she was bothered because she thought Audrey would be mad, Jazmyn sensed that there was something more personal there too. Given the twins' relationship, she doubted it was Juliette being worried or really caring about Charlotte, and was probably something more superficial like her not wanting people to think that her sister was hooking up with someone that Juliette would likely deem "gross", but it still made Jazmyn want to laugh. "Child, Mickey has been trying to get your sister in her bed since the ninth grade. If she hasn't been able to do it in all of those years, I wouldn't be worried about it happening any time soon."

"Then where is she?"

"They did leave together, but I'd bet a million dollars that they'll end up smoking a jay or two, Mickey will chicken out, and Charlotte will be back in your cute little bedroom, all before you even get home."

"Text them right now and tell them that they better not smoke anything with Charlotte wearing my dress. I don't want my clothes smelling like drugs." Only because something of hers was involved, did Juliette suddenly decide that she would believe Jazmyn about the sleeping together part, in favor of being angry over the thing that would actually affect her. "Better yet, tell Charlotte that she better not even step foot in that house, because that's all that it's going to take for her to come out smelling like that," she demanded, nearly snatching her cards back from the bartender and doing nothing more than scribbling when he handed her a pen to sign the receipt.

"That mouth of yours make it's pretty hard for me to want to do you any favors, Sugar. You've got two hands, text Charlotte yourself," Jazmyn said, an eyebrow raised in an almost warning manner, as she took the two Long Island Iced Teas from the counter, and carried them back to the unoccupied table she and Eli had been sitting at minutes before.

"She's not going to listen to me. If she ever listened to me, she wouldn't always be doing such stupid things. I'm telling Audrey, she'll stop her," she snapped, whipping her phone out of her bag.

"Hey, hey, hey. Let's not go that far," Jazmyn said, placing a firm hand on top of Juliette's. Normally, she would have rolled her eyes, shrugged her shoulders and sent Juliette on her way. If the girl wanted to start up some drama within her house, so be it. Tonight, though, Juliette involving Audrey would interfere with Jazmyn's own interests, so she wasn't going to allow it that easily. "I don't want Mickey to be able to blame any outside influences on why your sister is still in her friend zone after tonight. No telling your crazy bitch of a Big about what the two of them are up to, understood? At least not until you finish this drink." Jazmyn had enough reason to believe that this wasn't going to be Juliette's first drink of the night, and considering that the girl barely weighed anything, she was certain enough that by the time that Juliette finished the drink that contained tequila, vodka, white rum, triple sec and gin, she wouldn't be mentally present enough to tell anyone anything. Maybe it was a bit manipulative, but it wasn't like Jazmyn was pouring the drink down the girl's throat, or handcuffing her to the table that Juliette followed her back to. The girl could act like she was doing this with as much reluctance as she wanted to, but Jazmyn knew that if Juliette actually wanted to be somewhere else, she could be. She didn't mind dealing with the bratty front that Juliette had. In fact, it only made Jazmyn want to play with the girl's head even more, and when Juliette met her gaze, and Jazmyn was able to catch the girl's glare falter for just a second, before she put her phone back into her bag, she smiled, because she knew that she was going to be able to have at least a little bit more fun with her tonight.

_____________________________________________
Audrey had not been close enough to the fight to watch it break out, play-for-play, but like many people in the area, her attention was drawn to it once the commotion began. It caused her conversation with a couple of her Alpha sisters to end abruptly, and when she spotted Hudson weaseling his way through the crowd, she followed behind, only to pause at the edge of the scene. It allowed her a safe enough distance to watch what was happening, and considering that none of her Alpha girls who were right by the fight appeared to have been harmed in any way, she didn't feel the need to get any closer. She didn't want to be associated with such foolishness, and she was already bothered that Naomi, Ya Ya and Abigail were right in the middle of this. When one considered that Audrey valued her reputation and image so highly on a normal day, it should have come as no surprise, that she was even more particular about it at events like this. In certain respects, she was definitely high strung, but at the same time, her desire for things to be perfect wasn't completely understandable. She had spent her entire life feeling like she needed to prove herself to her parents to receive any form of love or recognition. She was essentially raised by her teachers and advisers, given that she had went to boarding school for the entirety of her academic life before college, so she was never given much personal affection or recognition from her parents. To earn that, she had to do things that were exceptional. She learned that coming in second place was no better than coming in last place, and that there was no point in trying at all, if you weren't trying to be the best.

Yes, Audrey's image was very important to her for those personal reasons, and yes, she believed that her sorority sisters making bad choices hurt her image, but she didn't stress the importance of first impressions and reputations to them solely for selfish reasons. Alpha girls were the girls who were supposed to go out and do the most in life. They were expected to excel in whatever they did, all while being the most attractive and personable and well-rounded, compared to other girls. And Audrey wanted nothing less for these girls, who she really did see as family at this point. She wanted them all to impress alumni, get their name out there for future internships and job openings. She wanted them to engage in conversations with people who worked in the fields that they planned on going into, and network. She didn't want them to show these alumni, many of whom were successful and powerful themselves, that they were still just a bunch of immature kids who were friends with the delinquents who were tossed to the curb. That was a job that she would leave vacant for the Zetas, but to her dismay, this little brawl had only involved Betas, Kappas, and then Thetas and Alphas as spectators. Their foolishness was actually making the Sigmas and Zetas look good, and if that wasn't unacceptable in itself, Audrey didn't know what was.

The night had only just begun, and though now, she was fairly certain that she wasn't going to be able to have a good time tonight, she knew that she couldn't leave. Not when now, she felt like she had to make up for the scene that had just erupted. No one important would probably notice Ayala or Abigail's absences, but in addition to having to make up for that, she felt like she had to work on damage control for the Betas. Hudson would have to work his magic there for the most part, but the Betas and Alphas would always be linked as the top houses on Fulton's campus, and when bad press hit one, the other felt it. Or, at least, that was what Audrey thought. Though Abigail and Ayala's sudden and unnecessary exit bothered her, Audrey decided to believe that maybe, they were just walking Ben out. She would give them the benefit of the doubt for now, but she wasn't stupid, and was already sending out a text to Naomi, as well as the rest of the senior Alpha girls who lived in their house. It read, "Clear your schedules after classes tomorrow. House meeting with a few of our younger girls who seemed to forget what being an Alpha means tonight." Right after sending that, she sent two more texts out. One went to Charlotte, reading, "How's it going ;)?", and another to Juliette reading, "Hi my love!! Sorry for going MIA! Where are you? Missing your pretty face and I need to talk to you!"

"Why do you look like a supermodel?"

"Why do you look like shit?" Amaris shot back, unrepentant, as she approached the haggard-looking Kappa. Nick shot her an unimpressed glare, but Amaris only raised a delicate eyebrow, stopping directly in front of where he sat. It was only 11:25 and very much still morning, but Nick had been up and about at eight in the morning for a three hour lab he honestly should have scheduled for the afternoon. However, like the dumb ass Amaris had called him when they were planning out their schedules just before the summer, Nick had insisted on doing a few classes in the morning. He was up anyway; he had mused. Except, he obviously hadn't factored in nights like last night, where he had chugged more rum and cokes he probably should have. Luckily, he hadn't thrown his entire existence up in the toilet - a win, if you asked him - but he damn sure didn't leave unscathed. Amaris had made sure to give him enough water to counteract the worst part of the hangover, but there was no denying by the tired look on his features. Amaris held two travel mugs in her hands and after a shake of her head, which was accompanied by a light chuckle, she handed one of them to him.

"Such a good friend. Provides for me while insulting me, I'm so grateful," he replied sarcastically. He did, in the next breath, gratefully take two large swallows of the caffeinated beverage, delighting in the hot sweetness that flowed on his tongue. While Amaris acted like she had hated her job at Starbucks during freshman year, she hadn't walked away from it without skills and the truth was that Nick preferred going to the Theta house for his coffee fixes as opposed to Starbucks. They had a lot of the same syrups and even fixings, and Amaris made a mean caramel snickerdoodle frappucino, a treat from Starbucks' secret menu that still tasted great with her Lavazza espresso. He practically moaned on another drink and Amaris rolled her eyes as he declared, This is everything."

"I bet." Sipping at her own, Amaris waited for him to rise for them to continue, heading towards towards the gated entrance so that they could leave to get to the food trucks that lined the sidewalk during this time. Most days, Fulton Students finessed their way through the lunch rush at the Student Center's main cafeteria, hoping to get that quick bite in between classes or at the various small delis, bakeries, sushi spots, grille, and coffee shops on campus. They had pretty decent chefs on campus, that much Amaris had realized during freshman year, but the real treat was at the food trucks of Miami that came to take up college kid dollars that honestly should be kept in their wallets. However, the food was always good, no one ever walked away unsatisfied, and she herself had partaken in the food truck frenzy a few times. Today wasn't that day as, since she hadn't had to go to work first thing in the morning because she had been helping with a project that had taken up some late nights, which resulted in her having Monday off, she had cooked for herself to save a bit of money. Her spaghetti squash mixed with kale, apples, and chicken sat, warm, in a container, inside of her purse beside a Vitamin water, just waiting for them to sit and eat. "Unlike some people, I had to meet with the board this morning since certain people's brothers decided they were street fighters at an alumni event."

"Hey, you said that you saw what happened - "

"Yes, and regardless of what might have incited the first blow, one of your boys was the one who delivered it," Amaris interrupted, giving Nick a rather pointed look. While she had definitely stressed the fact that obviously the boys had responded in lieu of a verbal assault from the Betas, and also making sure the board remembered that there was a lengthy history of assaults from the Betas that hadn't resulted in last night's actions and that such a display was bound to happen at their behest due to their own negligence (yes, Amaris took that risk), the Kappas boys involved weren't exactly going to walk away without reprimanding and a small punishment. Neither were the two Beta boys, regardless of their acting in self-defense. "Ben and Danny have to do seventy-two hours of community service and help clean up after the Beta and Alpha event on Wednesday." Nick's mouth opened, but he closed it a moment later.

"And the other guys?"

"Community service," she replied, nodding at the truck Nick was bound to pick. He had a deep love for anything Asian and Amaris liked Dim Ssam a Go-Go just as much as he did. Nick shot her a small smile before heading over to look at the menu he was already familiar with. "Might as well text them, though. We need to have a meeting to make that announcement." Nick frowned, but he didn't refuse, pulling out his own phone just as Amaris pulled out her own from her Saint Laurent purse.

To: Hudson
Your boys need to fulfill 72 hrs of community service. Monetary contributions to foundations do not count, I checked.

To: Hayden, Danny, Ben
Meeting in an hour. Getting lunch now, but Mare has the verdict from the board.

_____________________________________________
Monday and Wednesdays were Audrey's busiest school days, but she had a break between classes until twelve-thirty, so once she got home from her morning classes, she knew exactly how she wanted to put her time gap to use today. She had things that she needed to do, like actually sit down and eat, since she was never a breakfast person and didn't consume more than a granola bar or a piece of fruit on her way to her first class, or get some work done to stay ahead of the game in the business class she had just left, but right now, this seemed more important. A house meeting. She needed to hold a house meeting, because she definitely had some qualms over the events that occurred last night. It probably wouldn't seem like it today, but Audrey loved her Alpha girls. She really and truly did, and that was why it genuinely hurt her when they disappointed her. She set high standards for them, yes, but most of those standards were set by the generations of Alphas before her. It wasn't like she had taken over the presidency and brought their house to the top of the social ladder. No, she was only here to ensure that they maintained that position, and if she allowed her girls to slack, they would be letting her down, but Audrey knew that she would be letting the entire Alpha Theta Pi Greek society down, and she absolutely was not going to allow that to happen.

To: Naomi, Ya Ya, Abigail, Juliette, Charlotte
House meeting at 11:45. This is absolutely mandatory, so if I don't find you in the kitchen then, expect to find your belongings waiting for you on the curb when you do decide to show up.

Audrey was being dramatic there, but it wasn't a stretch to call her ruthless, and when people didn't take her seriously or respect her, she could be dramatic, and follow through on threats simply to prove that no one else should try and cross her. She wasn't necessarily angry with Naomi or Juliette, so she wasn't going to be as perturbed by them claiming that they couldn't make it as she would the other three, but she still wanted the two of them to be present. Naomi had been there to witness the fight between the Kappas and the Betas, and the mere association of Alphas being present at the scene wasn't a good look for their house. Juliette, on the other hand, had not done anything even indirectly wrong last night, but Audrey felt like she had to demand her presence as well. Mostly, honestly, because she felt guilty. Before the party was over last night, Charlotte told Audrey that she had left the party early to spend time at the Beta house with Weston. After Hudson was able to confirm that Weston was giving him the same story, Audrey was pleased that the Arnault had seemingly given in to the relationship demand. Charlotte, however, had not informed her sister of where she was, and Charlotte had already told Audrey that she wasn't going to be the one to tell Juliette about this forced relationship, because they both knew that Juliette had a not-so-secret crush on Weston. Really, the majority of the Alpha house was aware of that, so of course, Juliette was likely going to be very upset that someone else, and her sister of all people, had removed Wes from the "available" zone, and placed him in the "taken" zone. As heartless as Audrey probably seemed, threatening Juliette's spot in their sorority to Charlotte, it wasn't like she didn't love her Little. She did... and believe it or not, she had enough of a heart to feel like absolute shit knowing that she had to break the news to Juliette, all while knowing that it was her manipulation that was forcing this. However, she was insistent on reminding herself that she wasn't evil, because she wasn't purposely doing this to break Juliette's heart. She told herself that indirectly, she was actually saving Juliette by forcing Charlotte to date Wes, because if Charlotte continued to be a rebel, the two of them would both have to leave the sorority.

Even though Juliette was not aware of Audrey's involvement in the relationship, and only knew what she told her, that Charlotte and Wes had secretly been seeing each other for a few weeks, and had finally decided to go public, her heart still sunk when she watched the girl's expression transform from its normally perky one, to one that read a mixture of confusion and hurt and betrayal. Had anyone else upset her Little, and Audrey would have left the party early with Juliette, and spent the rest of the night comforting her. Given that she knew that the girl's pain came from her own actions made Audrey want to distance herself from the emotions as much as possible, and that was why she let Juliette leave early and didn't even knock on the girl's bedroom door when she got home. She definitely felt guilty, and even if she could justify it in her head, she knew that she wanted to do something to make Juliette feel better, but right now, she had bigger problems to worry about. During an earlier break between classes, she had constructed a list of points that she needed to address at this house meeting, so once she was in the kitchen, she opened them up on her phone and reviewed them.

Abigail got up and went over to the fridge and got herself something to drink then walked back over to her sitting position. She looked as Audrey went over to Ayala and inquired to see if Ben was in her bedroom. Abby wanted to speak upon the matter but it was probably just best that she stayed out of it as Audrey looked a little angry at the moment. She took a sip from her drink just as Ayala spoke up about Ben being in her bedroom. Luckily, her phone went off as it was another text from Maddox and she had zoned out for just a second to type a reply towards him.

To: Maddy
That's kind of hard to do, honestly. :( But anyways, in a meeting talk to you soon.

After she sent the text, her eyes went back to focus over towards Ayala and Audrey. She only caught the tail end of what Ayala had said but whatever it was, it had to be something really upsetting to make Audrey talk the way she did. Abigail didn't know what to do at this point. She didn't know whether to stay in the kitchen or go off and do something else until this conversation that didn't really concern her blows over.

"Uhm, should I just...?" She started to mutter but didn't really want to interrupt Audrey, especially now. She continued to sip on her drink and looked away for a moment even though she wanted to comment on some good and valid points that Audrey had brought up. She picked her phone up from the counter again and sent a text towards Naomi, Juliette and Charlotte.

To: Naomi, Juliette, Charlotte
Please hurry up and get here before the kitchen becomes a war zone.

She placed her phone down on to the counter then let out a little sigh as she stood up, a little bit hesitantly as she shakily muttered. "I'm going to go outside and wait for the other girls." She walked off from the two and it felt like a breath of fresh air since she was away from that. Abigail sat down in the living room and waited for the other girls to make an appearance for the meeting.

Naomi's night could have gone better. She could have had had a couple drinks, just enough to get pleasantly buzzed, pushed the DJ to play her favourite dance number, and ended the night with a makeout session with a stranger.

Instead, she did damage control.

She spent the late evening dispelling rumors and winning over the alumni guests.

"What? A fight? Oh, you mean the little tiff that happened earlier? Ah, yeah, the Kappas got a little out of hand, but no harm done. Hudson handled it all. He's quite the leader, isn't he? But what else would you expect of a Beta president?"

Her words had all been empty, and she hadn't meant any of it. But they were appeased, and their collective interest in the fight eventually waned, which had been Naomi's goal, really.

Suffice to say, she went home with significantly less enthusiasm than she had left it.

She'd slept in even later than usual, and only rose when her phone buzzed in the late hours of the morning. To her surprise, there were a couple of texts unopened, and she looked over them tiredly.

FROM; Maddox
You okay?

A small smile touched Naomi's lips, and she found herself pleasantly surprised by his concern.

TO; Maddox
Yeah, I'm ok. Well, a little pissed, but not at you, so don't worry. ;)

FROM; Pothead
I realise I kinda fucked up last night. Forgive me? 0:-)

TO; Pothead
You are such a fucking assh-

She paused mid-message, sighed, and deleted what she had typed.

TO; Pothead
I might consider it. After a couple of decades of servitude. Maybe.

She deleted it again, biting her lip in annoyance. Her expression softened, and she finally sent something.

TO; Pothead
How's your face? Did you use ice?

Finally, she opened Audrey's message, already preparing for the worst.

FROM; Queen Ginge

"Jesus Christ..." Rolling her eyes, Naomi got up and got dressed before making her way down the stairs to the kitchen. As she was walking down, her phone buzzed again.

FROM; Abby
Please hurry up and get here before the kitchen becomes a war zone.

Looking up from the text, she raised a brow at Abby, who was lingering outside the kitchen, clearly uncomfortable. "That bad?"

Juliette and Charlotte were already on the front porch of the Alpha house by the time that Abigail texted them in the group chat, so they didn't have time to open it before going inside. Minutes earlier, however, both girls had seen Audrey's text about the group meeting at the house. It wasn't every day that the twins walked back to the house together from their classes, especially given that they had different schedules, but Charlotte felt like it was necessary to try to talk to Juliette. Considering that she had been occupied for the entirety of the night with Michaela, Charlotte had not been around to know that Audrey had told Juliette about her and Weston. She only found out that her sister knew, through a text message that her mother sent her while she was in the middle of a seminar for her Evolutionary Biology course.

In their family, Charlotte had always been closer with her father, while Juliette and her mother were closer. Charlotte got along well with her mother too, but Juliette was far more similar with the woman than Charlotte was. Their mother loved close relationships, and since Juliette was the one who was the more open book, always ready to confide in the woman about her problems and drama, and simply to have someone to listen to her complaints, it had been easier for the two of them to bond. Though Charlotte was completely content and used to this, she still sometimes felt like her mother held an unfair bias for Juliette. She coddled her, in the sense that Juliette could get away with almost anything, while Charlotte would be reprimanded for the smallest infraction, especially if it affected her sister. Her mother's text message today was not incredibly harsh, and essentially just said that Charlotte needed to talk to Juliette, because she didn't want either of her daughters fighting, nonetheless over a boy. It still bothered her though, and mostly because she knew that all of this was out of her control. She wanted to text her mom back and explain that this was some crazy scheme that the Alpha president had forced her into, and that she didn't want to be dating Juliette's crush and more than Juliette wanted her to be, but she knew that she couldn't do that. She didn't know what to do though, so she left her mother's text unanswered, and waited for Juliette outside of her class, once Charlotte's own one was finished.

Juliette's microeconomics class ended just a little bit later than Charlotte's biology one, so she had enough time to get there before Juliette was gone. She expected it, but the way that Juliette tried to give her the cold shoulder, and refused to even talk to her for half of their walk home made Charlotte roll her eyes. Her sister could be so dramatic some times, and though Charlotte understood where she was coming from in this case, she still wanted to slap her for just being so bratty. In typical Juliette fashion, though, the girl couldn't hold out for that long with her silence game, and eventually started talking. "I should have expected this from you. You've always been jealous of me, haven't you been, Charlotte? Everyone always liked me more than you, even when we were kids, so now you think that you can one-up me by dating Wes? When you knew I liked him? That's really messed up, even for someone like you."

Oh, how badly Charlotte wanted to come clean as the conversation went on, and Juliette continued with words similar to those. How she wanted to tell the girl that she was doing this for her, so that she could stay in the stupid little sorority that Charlotte wanted no part of herself... Thankfully, Charlotte had enough self-restraint not to do that right now, but she was still pretty much at a loss for words on what to say. "Don't be stupid, Juliette. I'm not jealous of you, and I didn't do this to hurt you. Did you ever even tell Weston that you liked him like that?"

"Does it matter? I told you, and as my sister, I thought you would be nice enough to respect that." The girls were at the Alpha house by that point, with Juliette storming through the front door after shooting Charlotte a glare. The tired, somewhat guilt ridden twin followed a few steps behind, but paused in the doorway upon receiving Michaela's text. It was one that she was relieved to see, actually. She wasn't worried now that their friendship would be ruined from last night's fun, because their interactions this morning, though rushed, were all too normal for her to still be considering that they would end up in a weird spot after intimacy became a part of their friendship. She was just relieved because hearing from her friend offered her a little bit of actual happiness, when she knew that she was probably about to step into the pit of hell that could only formerly be known as the kitchen.

To: Michaela
About to have a "meeting" with her now. If she kills me and you let a single Alpha attend my funeral, I will haunt the shit out of you for the rest of eternity

Juliette had stormed past Abigail without even noticing her on the couch, destined to make it to the kitchen without a single interruption to break her train of thought. Absorbed in her own problems, she didn't even take a moment to analyze the tension in the kitchen, and she had walked in just after Audrey had finished speaking, which meant that there was just enough silence for her to honestly not know, in any obvious way, that drama was ensuing between her Big and Ayala. "I need you to tell Charlotte that she's a horrible person for stealing Weston from me," Juliette demanded, though it came out more as a plea, as she rounded the island to be by Audrey's side. Charlotte, on the other hand, noticed Abby immediately, and looked to her with a confused, yet sympathetic smile, now that she saw the girl's text from a moment ago. "What's happening in there?" she inquired, in no rush to actually go into the kitchen herself, especially now that she had seen Abby's text.

As she waited for the girls to text her back, she placed her phone in her lap and let out another sigh. Abigail wondered what was going to happen after the conversation Audrey and Ayala had just had with one another. Her eyes fluttered over in the direction of someone's footsteps approaching her and it was Naomi. She stood up and went over there towards her then looked into her eyes. "Well, war zone might've been a bit too extreme but..." She paused with a breath and was about to continue until she saw Juliette storm past her and Charlotte coming in right after her. Of course, she could feel more tension in the air and really wanted to question what their whole ordeal was but it was best not to meddle between siblings these days. Abby's gaze went over towards Charlotte as she sent a text towards something then asked what was happening in the kitchen.

Abigail shrugged her shoulders as her eyes glanced back at the entrance towards the kitchen then turned back towards the two girls before her. "Well, it's no surprise that Ya Ya brought Ben back home after last night's event but it was also after a fight between some Beta and Kappa guys. But Audrey found out from someone that Ben was in her room and asked her in a sort of nice way to see him out before this little gathering and Ya Ya expressed her opinion on the matter. Then Audrey also expressed her feelings, if you will, about last night and on many other subject matters." Abigail rambled slightly as she took a small breath and stared at the two of them. "As I told Naomi, using the word war zone might've been extreme but it certainly felt that way for a moment while I was in there." Her eyes went back towards the kitchen entrance as Abigail still wondered what was the tension between Juliette and Charlotte was about. "I hate to pry but Juliette seems pretty upset about something." She started as her eyes were focused on Charlotte now. "Is everything okay with her?" She inquired towards her while she nervously bit her bottom lip, awaiting an answer from her.

Yaya was never one to back down when it came to something she was passionate about. However she actually agreed with Audrey for some parts of her rant and as much as she’d like to chalk it up to Audrey being an irrational bitch she knew that the redhead at least had some good intentions towards her. However of almost all the girls, and Audrey knew this too, there were a select few who were as dedicated to the Alpha’s as she was and she made sure she was aware of that. ”Should I have brought Ben back to the house last night? No and I’m sorry for that I acted without thinking but I had no intentions to disrespect anyone. I also understand that you’re just being a good president, however...” She said leaning forwards and raising her eyebrows, ”To say that I put him before this sorority, before my sisters, or my career is uncalled for. I damn near bleed pink and green just like you and that’s one of the reasons we’re friends. So know that as friends I’m not some stupid love-struck idiot who’s going to throw my life away for him. But I’m also not going to throw him away because he joined the wrong fraternity, that’s not me, that’s never been me and you know this. ”

She looked down at her watch, ”And now I have to go volunteer at the blood drive so I have to go. Look I know you’re looking out for me but I did something stupid, I didn’t become stupid.” She glanced at her phone, ”And he already left, probably out the back door, smart man.” She added collecting her things. She knew this conversation wasn’t over completely but she at least hoped it was placated.

"No, Ya Ya. Clearly, you're proving to me that you became stupid. Doing something stupid was standing there and witnessing such a reputation-damning fight in the middle of an event. Being stupid is leaving an incredibly important event early, when people who could have furthered your career were there. Being stupid was telling your Little that it was okay to leave early, as well. Being stupid is taking the perpetrator of that fight back to our house. Being stupid is deciding that you can just get up and leave in the middle of a house meeting. Had you done one stupid thing last night, I would have brushed it off as a poor decision, but you've left me disappointed, and unable to call you anything but stupid. So sure, run along to your blood drive. Hopefully you're at least donating blood while you're there, so the next time that your lovely Kappa friend decides to viciously attack someone, there will be enough blood in the banks for them to have a chance at survival." Audrey was being dramatic, yes, but it wasn't dramatic for Audrey. In the grand scheme of things, and for a different person, the behavior and words likely would have been perceived as being harsh and unnecessary, but Audrey was a very straight-up person in situations like this. She didn't like being disrespected or feeling like her intelligence was being insulted, and she didn't like people trying to defend actions that were clearly, and absolutely, unjustifiable. She loved Ayala, and she did think that she was a dedicated Alpha sister, but right now, she wasn't acting like one. She absolutely wasn't acting like one, and Audrey refused to even consider any other opinion on that matter. So, with a condescending and dismissive wave of her hand, she signaled to Ayala that she was free to leave, especially since it seemed like the girl was ready to go anyway.

Juliette came in just then, and her dramatics made Audrey feel better about her own as the girl pleaded that Audrey ream Charlotte on her relationship with Weston. This was something that Audrey didn't feel like dealing with, because here, it was very hard for her to convince herself that she wasn't in the wrong. She was being a bad Alpha by doing this to her Little, and to Charlotte, but she had to do it, she told herself. Charlotte was out of control, and if she didn't lasso her in like this, she would make a farce of their entire sorority. If that meant that Juliette had to deal with a little bit of heartbreak, then that seemed like a necessary trade-off. Audrey wanted to believe that, at least. "Jules, Jules, calm down. You know I'm not into hysterics," Audrey said, trying to force a genuine smile on her face as she placed her hands on each of Juliette's shoulders in an attempt to force her to calm down. "We spoke about this last night, didn't we? I know that you're upset about all of this, but you have to remember that you're always going to be the twin that the boys like better. You could have absolutely any boy in that Beta house, I guarantee that, and Charlotte... well, you probably know better than anyone that things like that have always been more difficult. Weston's probably the only Beta who would ever really want to date her, and I know that you're upset right now, but can't you try to look at this as you doing a good deed? You're helping Charlotte assimilate into our culture, by just letting this go." She looked at the brunette was a hopefully inquisitve look, before hearing faint voices from outside the kitchen. "Come in, ladies. Let's talk business!" she called out, and now, she had to force her voice to return to its normally chipper tone.

There was something about carnivals that brought out one's inner child. The whimsical surge of energy combined with various food stands packed with every sugary, fatty and downright delicious delicacy coating the sticky sweet air that surged upwards into passing group's nostrils. Screams from passengers aboard rides echoed all around, little beeping noises from won games filled people's ears. The playful ambiance of such events welcomed couples holding hands, students and even families, all searching for a little bit of fun after a long day. Carnivals were places to have fun, to relive just a small piece of one's childhood. It was also a place where anything could go and perhaps, where certain rules no longer apply...

Ben lay in bed, still thinking about the punishment he received because of the fight he instigated. Seventy two hours community service. That's bullshit. He knew it wasn't but Ben knew that at the rate he worked with community centers, his seventy-two hours would breeze by. Ben peered over his shoulder to the clock that hung on his wall. The time read 5 o'clock, the carnival was to start in an hour and a half and Ben still didn't know his plans for the evening. Ben pulled his phone from the charger on his bedside table and sent a text to Yaya: Are you going tonight? He knew she would more than likely be going, but he wanted to know if they were going together. The next text Ben sent was to Abby: So...are we still doing coffee? Ben sent the text and got up, getting dressed in a casual outfit.

If anyone really knew Abigail, they would know that she hardly ever missed a day of class. But today was indeed one of those days as she wanted to spend the day getting ready for the carnival. Her day consisted of finding the perfect outfit to wear, along with the shoes and purse to match. She went to shower and get herself as she felt like it was nearing close to time. As soon as she stepped out of the shower and waltzed back into her room, her phone had chimed and Ben's name scrolled across the screen. When she opened the message and read it, she couldn't help but commentate in her own mind rather she should decline his offer again or accept his offer so that they could really talk. With the shrug of her shoulders, she started to type a reply towards him.

To: Ben
I guess we can. You know where to meet me.

Ben knew that Abigail could be occasionally spotted or often spotted at the on campus Starbuck's next to the bookstore. Speaking of the bookstore, she needed to remind herself to thank Asher for taking her shift for the day. As soon she finally decided on an outfit and was ready, she reviewed herself over in the mirror and tied her hair up in a bun then grabbed her cell phone and purse then walked out of her room. "Going to get coffee! See you ladies at the carnival!" She called out as she walked out of the front door and slowly made her way towards Starbucks.

Ben made his way through the kappa house, announcing his departure on his way down the stairs, "See you guys at the carnival! I'm heading out for coffee." Ben got into his car and made his way to the Starbucks they used to normally meet in. He arrived before her, went inside and ordered a latte, before texting her to let her know he was waiting for her.

Being in one of the top sororities on campus, means that just about everything was walking distance for you. Abigail's phone vibrated in her hand as she looked down and saw Ben's name scroll across the screen and opened the message. A soft sigh escaped over her parted lips as she didn't bother to respond as she was close to the door. Once she had walked in, she went over towards Ben and stood beside him. "After all this time, you still don't remember what I get? Shame, Ben. Shame." She walked off from him and went to order a mocha frappe.

It seemed like just as soon as she placed her order, it was ready. That was clearly a sign that she came here a little bit too much. She paid the cashier and put her change in the tip jar then grabbed her frappe and walked over to the table where Ben was sitting and sat down. She took a sip from her coffee drink before her eyes fluttered up and eyed Ben. "So, Benjamin, what's up?" As if she didn't already know. Abigail was no fool and she just wanted Ben to make note of that, mentally.

Ben's insides felt as though they were churning inside of him as he waited for Abby to appear in front of him. He chose a table in the back of the cafe, facing the middle so he could keep his eye out for her. He watched people come in and out the door, before Abby finally showed. He stood to greet her, but she didn't care to be friendly, it seemed. Ben rolled his eyes to her comment about him not knowing her order by now - he knew her order, but he felt that this situation was a 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' type thing, so he didn't bother.

Ben sat back down in his seat and waited for Abby to order and grab her drink. She made her way to him, "So, Benjamin, what's up?" Ben knew damn well that Abby knew what was up, but rather than fighting it, he just sighed deeply and stared at the lip of his coffee lid. "Abby, we should talk about what happened the other day. Ya shouldn't have treated you like that, and I shouldn't have let her. I don't know if you have any feelings for me-" Ben stopped himself there. He knew there was a very slight chance that anything could've or would've happened between them, but there was no denying there was a chemistry between them. He turned his eyes from his coffee cup into Abby's eyes. "I hope I didn't hurt you. Because you mean a lot to me, you're my best friend. But Yaya and I are working on getting back together... so things are weird right now. Because of what you and I used to be like."Ben felt uncomfortable. He kept hoping his phone would go off with some sort of emergency that would require him to disappear. But alas, here he sat, waiting for Abby to speak.

Abigail nodded her head whenever Ben made the comment that he shouldn't have let Ayala treat her the way she did. She continued to listen to him as she clung onto every word that was coming from his lips. Abigail couldn't help but feel some type of way at Ben. She took a small from her drink then eyed him with a smile that slowly faded. "Ben, whatever we had or didn't have is in the past. It's okay, I know that me and you are not going to happen. I've finally came to terms with that. Plus, I already know about you and Ayala so you're not really surprising me there. You know how people like to buzz these days." She breathed for a moment before her gaze looked up and met his.

"I'm not hurt. Upset but I will get over it. Okay?" She reached out and touched his hand. "No matter what, I'll always be your friend and here if you need me." She genuinely said with a smile as she looked down at the time on her phone. "I think we should get to the carnival. Take me there?" She asked as she started to gather up her belongings and coffee. She tried her best not to show just how upset she was but she was really dying on the inside.

Ben didn't know what to say, so he said nothing. Instead, he simply nodded his head when Abby asked if Ben would take her along to the carnival. He stood from his seat, took one last large swig of his cooling latte, and proceeded towards the door. Ben held the door open for Abby, and as the duo proceeded towards his car, he sent a text to Ayala, Heading to the carnie, hope to see you there. He didn't feel the need to warn her that he'd be with Abby, they discussed the fact that they were technically single, so he was still his own man. Ben held the car door open for Abby, stuck himself in the driver seat and drove to the carnival, arriving quickly.

Arriving at the carnival, Ben parked his car, looked at Abby in the stillness of the quiet car. "You mean the world to me, Abby. That'll never change." Ben leaned over to her, leaving a gentle kiss on her cheek before stepping out of his car.

Abigail loved the way that Ben was always such a gentlemen, no matter what. It was still kind of hard not to like him because she adored so many things about him. She proceeded to follow him towards his car and smiled as he held the door open for her, which she closed once she was inside and buckled up her seatbelt. The distance towards the carnival wasn't really far but she didn't really want to walk. When Ben turned off the car and she removed her seatbelt from around her, her ears twitched at Ben's words then her eyes fluttered over towards him as he was getting out of the car.

Stunned at his words, Abby sighed and got out, as well. She trailed a few length distance behind Ben, head lowered as she looked at the ground. She wasn't feeling this carnival anymore but decided to show her face anyway, plus she had no choice but to go since she saw Ben before the event and didn't feel like answering all of 'why are you not going?' questions. As she continued to walk behind Ben, she finally lifted her head up with a smile, looking at all the rides and just taking in the scenery. Abby pulled out her cell phone and started to text the ladies.

At the carnival! :D Any of you ladies here yet?

She placed her cell phone inside of her purse as she caught up with Ben and grabbed him by the arm, hoping to stop him as she looked up at him. She honestly didn't know what to say at this point. Abigail really wanted to pour her feelings out towards but he was back with Ayala and it would be kind of pointless right now. She stood in front of him in silence for a moment before smiling up towards him. "Since I never got my dance, which I am a little salty about still..." She chuckled softly while pointing at him. "You get to take me on the first ride. Say Ring Of Fire? Then I might forget about that night." Abigail said to him as she stood in front of him still but now with her arms folded over her chest, eyebrow raised and weight shifted to the left side of her body. "So, what's it going to be, Ben?"

The house was empty, and right now, that was just the way that Juliette wanted to be. She decided against going to the carnival. Call it dramatic, but the entire situation involving her sister "stealing" Weston from her, and Audrey not having her back about it, had left Juliette feeling drained and depressed. She was the kind of person who wore her heart on her sleeve and it was very easy for her emotions to come out, so this wasn't exactly anything new, but at least in her opinion, she had a reason to be upset over this. It was different than being upset over a poor test grade, or because her father wouldn't let her buy a ridiculously expensive purse she had been eyeing. Weston was the only boy that Juliette had had a genuine crush on in a very long time, and for Charlotte to take that away from her, when she knew she liked him, felt like a real betrayal. She and Charlotte bickered a lot, sure, but they didn't actually hate each other, and this felt like a sincere act of animosity on Charlotte's part. Charlotte betrayed her, but by the other girls seemingly thinking that what she was doing was fine (probably just following Audrey's lead, but still), Juliette felt a bit betrayed by them as well. She was the Arnault who was the actual good Alpha. If they were supposed to take a side, she felt like it should have been hers. Since she felt like no one was taking her side, she decided that she didn't want to hang out with any of them tonight. It was a bit petty, sure, but beyond wanting to be petty, she also genuinely wasn't feeling up to leaving the house at all. After her classes, she had gotten back into her pajamas and was currently sitting in bed watching Hoarding: Buried Alive, a very unexpected guilty pleasure of hers. Her laptop rested on her lap, with a Word document opened on it, that was nearly blank. She should have been spending the evening writing a paper she had due on Thursday, and she did plan on finishing it tonight, but... just not yet. She wanted to relax first, and after sending a text back to Abigail, she turned her attention back to the television.
