Maddox was born into a wealthy family in a small town on the outskirts of New York. You could say he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. His father was a well known and respected lawyer and his mother a surgeon, already well established. His family consist of his parents, an older brother and sister, and of course himself. They are relatively the only blood relatives he has near, but he isn't close with any of them and, in fact, goes out of his way to avoid them. He was born in the United Sates and his family has been living here for decades. They have lost most of their traditions and cultural ideas, so Maddox knows very little about the Japanese and Korean cultures, however he can speak both languages fluently. His parents thought it important for their kids to know more than one language. After moving to Miami, Mad took it upon himself to learn Spanish as well and currently speaks it fairly well.

In high school, his parents were always at the top of the food chain. They were high school sweethearts, started dating their sophomore year and were crowned prom king and queen their senior year. They both went to Fulton and graduated around the same time with their law and medical degrees. Once established, they had their first son, Maddox's older brother, followed by his sister 3 years later. Two years after that, Maddox was born, and that was the end of the perfect little family. His parents both began to focus too much on their work and not enough on their children, eventually leading to adultery and a nasty divorce. Of course, all of the wealth and possessions were split right down the middle, including the custody of the three children. Maddox and his siblings found themselves jumping back and forth from one house to another, never truly having a permanent place to call home. Because their parents spent most of their time at work, the three siblings were raised by grandparents, aunts and uncles. Basically, whoever was available to take care of them. The small amount of time they spent with their parents they were lectured, constantly pressured by both sides to follow their career paths. As they grew older and more independent, the older siblings were fed up. His sister dropped out of high school to marry a guy she had only known for a few months and moved to god knows where, meanwhile his brother picked up all of the wealth he could before leaving the country to study abroad. Till this day, Maddox knows nothing about their whereabouts. This left Mad at the center of both of his parents' attention.

From a very young age, Maddox had always loved music. He would learn lyrics to songs before he learned how to even speak properly and could often be found humming quietly to himself, a habit that he still carries with him. As a small child, he dreamed of joining the music industry as a producer or maybe even a performer. The idea of creating and producing music others could enjoy always fascinated him. Of course his parents had other plans for him, and now that they had no one else to focus their frustration and lectures on, his dreams were crushed almost immediately. His parents, mainly his father, drilled into his head that there is nothing greater than wealth and recognition. Only once did Maddox bring up his desire to make music, something his parents simply could not comprehend. It led to many fights, both verbal and physical. Young Maddox even ended up in the hospital after breaking his leg in an attempt to run from his father's heavy hand. The scolding and drilling only doubled. His father was set on him becoming a lawyer while his mother wanted him to become a prestigious doctor. After a few months, he began to spend more weekends at his father's place because of his mother's lack of time, and consequently, the ladder took advantage of it. His main goal being to pin Maddox against his mother and make himself look like the good guy. Maddox wasn't fooled. He knew better than anyone that his father had been the one to screw up first considering he was the one to catch him, but the man was not giving in. He continued to get into Mad's head, telling him lie after lie about his mother and eventually, after realizing Maddox was not convinced, he turned on him now telling the young boy that he was "too nice" and would never be even half as successful as himself. For a while, Mad's self-esteem was shattered and he started to believe his father's words, but after hearing it so much for so long, Maddox felt indignant. His desire to be bigger and better than his father slowly became his only goal. He eventually began to guide himself and his actions by this. He started by striving to be the best at everything he could. He never did anything he wasn't 100% sure he would succeed at, but of course, he usually succeeded at whatever he did. Good was simply not good enough. Eventually, he became exactly what his father said he would never be. Loved, popular, successful, putting wealth and power above all else, but all this began to fill his head. He applied for several colleges and got accepted to all of them, but his heart was already set on Fultun.

|| Personality ||
Like the rest of his Beta brothers, Maddox is what one would consider the total package. He's handsome, charismatic and charming, capable of getting whatever he wants from both males and females with a single smile or tilt of the head and he knows it. He uses this to his advantage as much as he can, usually to get out of doing something he doesn't want to do or to clean up after he's messed something up. He's confident that with a few sweet words and a smile, he can get away with just about anything and, for the most part, it's true. He walks with an air of confidence, like he's ready to take on the world without fears or regrets. He's loved by teachers and students alike for being very social and passionate about everything he does. As far as everyone can tell, criminal justice has always been his passion. His love of music has been demolished and almost entirely swallowed up by greed.

He gives off an image that doesn't quite fit into the usual mold of the Beta boys, as comes off as kind and maybe even humble. He makes sure of it by pretending that he doesn't know he's good at everything he does or that he doesn't like being the center of attention. However, with every compliment and pat on the back, his ego and pride continues to inflate. His need for power and recognition grows along with it. He's deceiving and manipulative, always willing to use anything and anyone to his advantage regardless of the consequences or who might get hurt in the process, and does it with ease and absolutely zero remorse, but in a way that makes it hard for most people to recognized they're being used. Having a minor in psychology has worked towards his skills of manipulation. He's skilled at reading others and knowing how to get what he wants from them. Despite his appearance of being empathetic and a good listener, he could really and truly care less how you feel. He could charm the pants off anyone, make them believe that he cares about them and their well being, but is only looking for a good reputation. At this point, the only thing he cares about and deems important is to become bigger and better than his father and be able to rub it in his face. Nothing else is worth the effort.

His reputation is important to him, and regardless of what he says, he does care about what others think of him. Being adored is highly important. Whish is why he goes out of his way to be social, spark conversations with strangers and initiate friendships. Meanwhile, there are several sides of him that he hides. His insecurities. Believe it or not, he has them. He doesn't do well with relationship problems. Romantic or otherwise. He avoids talking to his parents as much as possible, and still resents his siblings for "abandoning" him when he needed them the most. So much so that he claims to be an only child. He's not opposed to breaking hearts. It has become almost like a sport to him. He uses girls for a night or two but quickly gets bored of them and moves on, usually playing it off with the excuse that he's too busy and his school work is of "utmost importance" or he doesn't want to be a "bad boyfriend" because he knows he'll end up focusing too much on his work. It's simply the easiest way to get rid of them without hurting his reputation, all the while avoiding catching any feelings.

What he tries to hide the most is his bisexuality. He figured it out during his senior year of high school when he "accidentally" had a make-out session with one of his close friends. He hasn't spoken to him since, and refuses to accept the fact that it happened. He ignores this side of himself as much as he can, usually with success, but every so often it hits him like a freight train. He's never let it show, and his usual way of dealing is by sleeping with as many girls as he possible can to convince himself that it's only a whim. For the most part, it works, but there are instances when he just can't deny it. As a child, Maddox was a kind soul with a heart of gold. He always tried his best not to disappoint his parents and the people around him. He's always been social and charismatic, so making friends was (and still is) easy for him, but as he grew older, circumstances hardened him both inside and out.But truthfully, deep down, very deep down hidden under the ego and greed, he's still that small kind-hearted boy needing to be accepted.

|| Thoughts on Greek Life ||
"What's not to love" is his usual response when anyone asks him about living with the Betas. But in reality, there are some things about the Beta life that Maddox doesn't like. For one, having to constantly hide a part of himself. After a while, it begins to take a toll on him and he hates knowing that he'll most likely be kicked out if the president ever finds out. There's also the constant pressure of having to be the greatest at everything. Yes, he's good at doing that just like the rest of his brother, but sometimes he just needs a break. On the other hand, he loves being at the top of the food chain with the Beta boys. He gets along with his brothers, despite having to hide things from them and loves the fact that the entire campus' attention are usually on them. It makes him feel like he's already doing better than his father ever did. He's friends with the Beta boys for the most part, but there will always be that underlying lack of trust.

|| Plans for after college ||
Maddox's only plans at the moment are to become a well-known and successful lawyer. The kind of lawyer that wins every single case, regardless of what he needs to do to get there. His fearless and impulsive persona are what drive him despite his dislike for his major.

Sometime in the future, Mad plans on opening his own law firm and put his father's firm out of business

Mad will never be found walking around campus in sweatpants and hoodie, unless he's really having a bad day and can't be bothered to dress properly. But he will also never be seen walking around in a full suit and tie. He usually stays right in between, wearing a nice pair of jeans and t-shirt with a jacket or blazer over it, or a simple shirt and jeans when it's too hot for anything else. He generally has a good fashion sense, always looking dapper but never overdressed. If attending a formal event, he tends to not wear ties unless it's required. He finds he looks better without them. He hates bowties and will never wear one, not if he can help it. His jet black hair is usually styled back or simply parted to the side, hanging loosely over his face. He likes keeping it a bit grown out and refuses to cut it any shorter even though his hair usually what causes people to compare him to an anime character. He's got a deep yet soft voice that matches well with the way he looks, and he tries to not speak too loudly, but loud enough to ensure others can hear him. His most charming point is his smile, so he's told. A genuine smile lights up his face and makes him appear sweet and caring, which is why he tends to avoid smiling as much as he can. A smirk will always do the trick.

"How did you know I like it rough?"

His lips almost brushed her ear as he spoke, his voice a sultry whisper. A small flush rosied her cheeks, and Naomi felt her hackles rise. This guy... One of Archie's arms draped itself over her slender shoulders, and Naomi felt torn whether to shrug it off or not. She hated how easily he twisted her about, and was well aware that he did what he did to get a rise out of her, but at the same time... His arm was so warm on her shoulders, like a comforter- only if the comforter came with pick-up lines and a penchant for assholery.

"I'm sure Benny 2.0 would be more than happy go with you and get food, Yuda." Fully aware of the game Archie was playing, she shot the beta an exasperated look before opening her mouth to reply to Yuda.

"Omi." It was as if some Greater Power was pining for her head to explode, as Maddox joined the group, meeting her eyes and smirking deviously. "And here I thought I'd have to get through the night without getting to see my favorite tsundere."

Resisting the urge to grit her teeth, Naomi forced a wry smile. "Unfortunately for both of us- you were mistaken."

Naomi looked over the beta, raising a brow in reluctant admittance. Shit. He looks good.

Naomi was aware that he would. After all, Maddox was hardly an unattractive guy, even on his off days. The problem was, he knew that. All the betas were so damn aware of how hot they were, it was infuriating.

Voice touched by casual nonchalance, she tried to take the high road. "Nice suit."

From where Abigail was standing, she was a bit uncomfortable and she doesn't even know why she walked over here after seeing Ben and Ya Ya back together. She turned around to roll her eyes at their display then turned back towards the group just as Naomi spoke to Yuda. She was toned back into the conversation now. "I know right. Isn't she gorgeous?" Abigail interjected as her eyes fluttered up towards Ya Ya, who said hello towards her. "Hello. Nice to see you guys back together." She said with a smile then looked towards Ben before her gaze fell upon Yuda again. "I'm suddenly not hungry." Abby muttered softly as she chuckled at Yuda's comment then saw as she began to text someone.

She cleared her throat then gasped as someone tapped her on the shoulder but heard a familiar voice behind her. It was Danny and she was a little bit relieved to see him as he broke the silence that smothered her. "Well, well. My hero." She accepted the drink with a smile that gleamed up towards him. She didn't really feel like drinking anything right about now but she did take a little sip from the drink. "Oh, thanks for your compliment, by the way, Archie. Everyone here seemed to have went all out on their attire. She said before Archie made a comment towards Danny and her eyes went a bit wide. She didn't know what to say as she didn't need to say anything because it just might've made matters worst.

Another familiar face appeared in the group, it was Maddox. She immediately went over by him and gave him a small hug and eyed him. "You look amazingly handsome, Maddy." She complimented him then leaned in a little bit towards him as she whispered. "I thought I was the only girl you wanted to dance with tonight." Her eyes fell upon his now as she waited to hear how he was going to respond towards her after that comment. Her gaze went over towards Daisy as she came over and gave Yuda some snacks. "Thank you so much, Daisy. You look no so bad yourself." Abigail responded as she walked over there and gave Daisy a small hug and nodded in agreement to her statement. Her eyes then flickered over towards Danny, who spoke sort of explicitly towards Ben about Archie. She honestly hope that something wasn't about to go down right now. Not like this at this fabulous event. Abigail really wanted to say something but she had her own problems to deal with at the moment. Plus, this little disagreement didn't have anything to do with anyway. Instead, she just took another sip from her drink and stared at everyone as she waltzed back over to get a closer look at everything.

Both Cyrus' and Blake's retorts had Amaris genuonely laughing and she dropped a hand to one of Blake's forearms to steady herself herself amidst the laughter. Even Juliette's disturbed expression towards Cyrus' mild antagonizing had her snickering and Amaris' other hand rose to almost cover her mouth now that her phone sat on top of her Erving clutch which lay closely beside her martini glass, not too hide her gap though she was occasionally self-conscious about it, but in favor of trying to stifle the sound of her glee and amusement. AS much as she knew people were surprised that she, out of all of the A there's, was close to a few Sigmas, the truth was that - second only to her Kappa brother she - Amaris loved herself some Sigmas. It helped that they were typically a fun crowd and while she herself was not the hugest fan of belligerent nonsense, She also didn't see herself as that much of a stick in the mud where she couldn't enjoy herself a bit eith the teasing and the banter. It helped that the aforemebtioned along with an easy-going history was what her relationship either both Jack and Blake was comprised of.

Even if the former had a way of getting on her last nerves.

"I'm sure I'll find some way at to repent of my evil ways,"sge exclaimed dramatically gob Blake while still giggling. She opted to ignore Jack's digs at her as if he hadn't even said a word, attention mostly in Cyrus and Blake. Smirking, Amaris fed. "Then again, I cannot be held responsible rrsppnsivle little boys not being able to take what they dish out." Only when she he was done speaking did Amaris turn a smug smile Jack's way, finally grasping her Cosmopolitan once more to idly sip at it. While Amaris still thought Jack wasn't going to be any good to anyone for the night, and especially not with finding anyone unless it was the nearest bartender who was pressed enough to only care for their pay and not the fact that a person was too drunk to be getting anything else in heir bodies, she wasn't against him moving along with his craziness and foolishness. Even if that meant Juliette was going to suffer. Then again, in Amaris' head, the girl chose to come when called. If she started to get annoyed with him, Amaris had already given the warning about his drunkenness. It would be the girl's own fault. Which is why she called behind them with a nice, exuberant "Buh-bye now! Don't come back!" as the two went off in search for people amaris didn't need to concern herself with thinking about.

It wasn't on another sip of her Cosmopolitan that Amaris heard what Blake ad said about entertainment for the evening and after tossing Ginny a raised eyebrow, she turned to follow his gaze and saw the rather tense group at lest two won of her girls, from what she could see, had gotten themselves into. She muttered a curse under her breath when she saw the expressions on Ben and Danny's faces, though she made no move to interfere even though she wanted to. She didn't know what the situation was; didn't want you jump to any conclusions. Though the fact that Maddox was over there had her narrowing her eyes. Out of all of them that had gathered, even though Amaris had no idea what caused the tension, she knew for a fact that he was the main one not to be trusted. Her protective instincts definitely made her hackles rise as she wondered aloud, "What the hell are those boys getting themselves into?"

Raising an eyebrow at the new guys next comments, Archie stifles a laugh. "Hey Ben, you wanna tell me why this Beta meathead is being such a smug bastard to me. All I did was come over to talk to a couple of friends. And why the hell did he call me Benny 2.0?" While this could easily piss off most people, all Archie thought about it was that, it was hilarious. Which had the potential to piss off this easily riled Kappa even more.

As Maddox joins their ever expanding circle, Archie sends him a kind of 'I got this' look, before retorting. "I called you Benny 2.0 because I don't know, or care to know, your name," With a roll of his eyes, Archie removes his arm from Naomi's shoulders as Daniel gets closer, moving so that he is almost standing in front of her - a subconsciously protective move on his part. "Besides all you Kappa guys are just as forgettable as each other, so does it really matter?" Archie knew damn well that this was not the kind of place he should be starting shit, but then again, it was the Kappa that stepped to him - what was he supposed to do? It wasn't Archie's fault the guys too sensitive.

"Now be a gentleman and back off," Archie looks around their little group, comprised mainly of Alphas and Thetas, before turning his hazel eyes back on Daniel, "I know that's gonna be tricky for you, but c'mon don't scare the girls," Then as his eyes trailed back down to Naomi, Archie can't help but let a small smirk form on his lips, "Or piss them off, I'm pretty sure every one of them could fight better than you, bud."

As Archie lets his gaze wander, he eventually locks eyes with Daisy, their relationship was rather complicated - he loved the girl as a friend, but whenever they promised that friends was where they would stay, the pair always had to go and make things messy again by hooking up. Sending Daisy a wink, Archie was unaware that this in itself, could piss Daniel off. Honestly, Archie had never even noticed the guy before now, so he couldn't know about Daniel and Daisy's relationship. That's not to say that he wouldn't have still winked at Daisy had he know, Archie just loved to piss people off.

Deciding to finish whatever it was he had just started with Daniel, Archie lets out a small sigh. "Ok seriously, you should back off now," Switching his gaze to Ben who was stood there, silent for the moment, Archie smiles - not a sweet genuine smile, but a cocky, almost malicious one - before moving slightly closer to the two Kappas, "We all know you're too pussy to do anything," Laughing softly under his breath, Archie continues, "Isn't that right, Benny?"

Perhaps he was skating on thin ice here, Archie actually had no idea whether Daniel was the violent type or not - he simply took the Kappa house at face value. They were the nice ones, meaning they weren't gonna fight him, right? Besides, while he may not be able to take Ben on his own (that guy was far too built for Archie's liking), he could certainly take Daniel down without a second thought, and with his Big by his side, Ben shouldn't be too difficult either.

As he thought about his Big, Archie's gaze shifted back to Maddox, knowing what the guy was thinking. Of course Archie was being a bit of an idiot right now, but he still knew that Maddox would have his back no matter what, which made Archie more confident in his jabs at Ben and Daniel.

Andre smirks when the president steps away with him, but only slightly, so that they can speak privately without anyone hearing them speak disrespectfully or crudely. He even snorts at Hudson's comment about Reid, that he seems normal. If he only knew the half of it... "Some of the things he's said on air, I don't know. I haven't really kept up since Mrs. James passed, but it doesn't seem like they've gotten any less crazy. My dad said they did some wild things while they were active in Beta..." Andre trails off, grabbing a small glass of whiskey he sent a pledge off to get him. He sips on it slowly, carefully, scanning the room to make sure his Betas are in check. Hudson is the president, and he trusts Andre to keep them in line.

Then, Hudson chuckles at Andre's previous statement. Alpha alumni sounds right up his alley, and he's almost sure he can see one he actually knows, Danielle Adler, standing by the bar-- You know how I'd go exclusive for Audrey in a second, if that was what she wanted, but she's still not into it. Doesn't want anything real. Not trying to get all deep with you, Valentine, but you know how ladies work almost as well as me," Andre snorts, sipping on his drink once more. He knew Hudson was mainly digging for fun, and Andre was known all around campus as the best with the ladies. "They don't call me Valentine for nothing, Allen." He quickly replies before Hudson continues, "So, do you think this is some test she's putting me up to? To see if I'm actually loyal and not gonna move on, or do you think it's actually time to move on? I know I sound crazy, but you know girls. They say one thing and mean the other, and I'm not looking to mess up my changes with Audrey, but if she's really not down for something, then maybe I should start looking elsewhere, you know?"

Andre has to ponder over what his brother tells him. He knew about Audrey and Hudson, merely because of his close friendship with Hudson, but romantic relationships aren't really his thing. Freshman year, man, Andre was head over heels for an Alpha sophomore, and she even indulged him. They had a very strong relationship, for about half a year or so, when she broke his heart. He eventually got over it, and they've seen each other for lunch, but he hasn't had a girlfriend since. But, when he was with her, he went through a lot of tests to prove his faithfulness.

But he knows Audrey, and she doesn't seem to be on the market for something serious right now. He doesn't want to steer Hudson in the wrong direction, because he knows that their relationship is more than anything sexual. He sighs, making his answer is as honest as he can make it. "Allen, I don't want to say that you should just give up on her, but I don't think she's looking for anything serious right now. So if you're willing to wait, I wouldn't move on. But, she's not settling down anytime soon, keep that in mind."

One thing on Andre's mind is the escalating fight. It seems as if Archie Hervieux, one of their newer Betas, is at the brunt of it all. If this gets any worse, it won't be Betas getting the blame, Andre would make sure of it. Still, he makes sure to send a quick text to Maddox, Archie's big brother, and a glare in Archie's direction.

[To: Maddox Izumi. There's too many alumni here for any Beta to be causing trouble. Get Hervieux under control or I will.]

Ben was doing his best to calm Danny down, whispering in his ear ”Relax Dan, it’s okay. He’s just being a fucking prick.” Danny breathed in deeply. Ben was right, but the ignorant bastard wouldn't shut the fuck up. "I called you Benny 2.0 because I don't know, or care to know, your name. Besides all you Kappa guys are just as forgettable as each other, so does it really matter?" Danny looked at Ben. The comment reminded him that a fight would dishonor his house, but Danny wasn't about to keep taking shit from Archie. Maybe when he was sober, but he was to drunk for this bullshit. Archie kept pushing, "Now be a gentleman and back off. I know that's gonna be tricky for you, but c'mon don't scare the girls. Or piss them off, I'm pretty sure every one of them could fight better than you, bud." Next, Archie made a massive mistake. He winked at Daisy. Danny glanced over his shoulder to confirm, and sure enough, she was in the line the wink was sent. The hair on Danny's neck stood up. Daisy was his, at least for the night.

Danny was about to snap. He could feel the anger pricking at the surface. Keeping his eyes locked on Archie, he directed a comment at Ben in a whisper, "You go high. I go low. He can't take us both." Danny wanted to go now, but he wasn't going to pounce until Ben was down himself. Danny saw Hayden enter the group. That was good, extra backup if he needed it. "Ok seriously, you should back off now," Archie was directing the comments at Ben now. Ben turned to face the incessant idiot who kept talking. "We all know you're too pussy to do anything," Archie let out an arrogant chuckle, "Isn't that right, Benny?"

Danny saw Ben tense up, ready to spring. A chuckle protruded from Ben, and, in the blink of an eye, Danny watched instinct take over. As soon as Ben started to swing, Danny took off. He nailed Archie right around the waist, hearkening back to his middle school linebacker days. He had him pinned on the ground. After Ben's comment, Danny added a scream of his own, "You fucked with the wrong one tonight." He heard a cold fist land on Ben's temple. Ban could fight his own battles, and Hayden was there too. He had no intention of letting Archie up, but he had to admit the guy was strong.

Part of knowing Archie as well as Maddox did meant knowing what the boy was thinking almost before he thought it himself. The same could be said the other way around, which is why when their eyes met, Maddox immediately recognized that look. The same look that always came just before the Beta said something that could get him into a problem big enough where Maddox would have to step in and help. Surely enough, that’s exactly where this was going. "Besides all you Kappa guys are just as forgettable as each other, so does it really matter?" . Everything that followed that sentence was a blow to the Kappas’ ego, because regardless of what they all might say, their egos were just as inflated as the Betas’. If not more so. Maddox sighed in annoyance, already preparing himself for when he’d have to drag Archie’s ass out of there. He loved his little to pieces but the boy had a knack for creating scandals and Maddox was usually stuck dealing with the aftermath. Though the Beta didn’t necessarily disagree with what his little was saying, there was a time and place for everything. This was not the time, and it most certainly was not the place. Maddox could feel the phone in his jacket pocket vibrating urgently, and though taking his eyes off of the younger Beta could mean big trouble, he opted to check whatever was incoming. He was only allowed enough time to pull out his phone and unlock it before he heard what sounded exactly like flesh against flesh and looked up just in time to see Archie being tackled to the ground by the man he also didn’t care to know the name of. First instinct was to make sure none of the girls were close enough to get hit. It was unnecessary, just like everything else that was happening. Still, it was happening and once a punch is thrown, there’s no turning back. “Fuckin’ call me a pussy now, you bitch!” Real Classy Maddox thought, his annoyance now transforming into irritation and a little bit of anger.

Maddox had always prefered to fight with stabbing words instead of fists. Physically damage always healed, but emotional damage could last a lifetime. But given the fact that his little was being ganged up on by two (possibly three) blood-thirsty Kappas, it was more then clear that he’d have to step in. Before Benjamin could do anything else, the Beta quickly pulled him back with a harsh yank wrapping both arms around his neck and head to keep him in place, something he had learned as a young teen but never truly had any use for. Until now. He sharply pulled his head backwards and moved in close enough to almost whisper in the man’s ear. ”I suggest you think loooong and hard about your next move Benny, or you may regret it” his words came out as a low growl, not caring if the people around them heard. Part of the reason he always avoided violence was that it brought out a side of him and he didn't like, a side that no one would like, and Maddix could feel it boiling inside him ready to explode. The headlock he held Ben in made it so incredibly easy to break the man’s neck in one fell swoop, but once again, not the time nor the place. His job now was to get Archie the hell out of there before he made things so much worse, not break bones or injure Kappas. No matter how much he wanted to and damn did he really want to at the moment. He continued to hold Ben in place, hoping that the other Kappas would have enough common sense to get their shit together and stop making a scene, or that someone else would come and do it for then. The last thing Maddox wanted was to have to throw a punch, because if he did he might just end up killing someone.

Andre's words were honest, and Hudson could appreciate that, but they were words that he was already knew. A part of him was hoping that Andre would give him a more extreme answer, one that would solve his problem in an instant. If he told Hudson that he possessed some knowledge that Hudson was ignorant to, about how Audrey had swore to someone that she would never be anything serious with Hudson, then that would give him a solid reason to move on. If he told him that he was convinced that Audrey was playing hard to get, and that he could break through that sooner than later, then he wouldn't give up so easily. Andre was Hudson's best friend, so he took the man's words with more thought than he would have anyone else's, but it still left him in a position where he really needed to evaluate the situation and himself, on his own, and then decide. With a sigh, Hudson nodded. "Can always count on you for the words of wisdom, Valentine," he said, a minuscule smirk appearing as he tried to lighten himself up. He knew that he had to think all of this over, but he didn't need to do it here, right now. Audrey had already told him that she wasn't looking for anything tonight so it wasn't like the decision on what to do needed to be made immediately. Instead, Hudson told himself that he needed to relax and enjoy the night. He was ready to allow his smirk to grow, with the plan of asking Andre who was on his radar for the night, but those plans, along with the plan of relaxing, flew out the window in a matter of seconds when the commotion on the other side of the room became impossible for him to ignore.

"Fuck!" he said in a voice no louder than a hiss when he spotted two of his Betas involved in the scuffle. Of all nights, they had to pull this shit tonight, Hudson thought. He could feel his blood pressure skyrocket and his fists immediately balled up, as he navigated his way through the groups of people, careful not to shove any of the alumni in his way, like he actually felt like doing, until he reached the group. By the time he had made it there, Maddox was holding Ben, a Kappa, in a head lock, as a young man whose attire suggested that he worked for the venue tried to pry them apart, while two other men in similar uniforms were separating Archie and another Kappa, who Hudson recognized as Daniel. Especially at events like this, where behavior meant everything, Hudson wasn't a fighter. He wasn't out of shape, and he wasn't scared of fighting, even if, admittedly, there were guys like Andre, and Jack Decker, and Ben here, who probably but one hundred times more effort into perfecting their physique so that they could wreck people in fights like these.

Fighting just wasn't his thing. He felt it to be uncivilized and classless, and he was part of the class that preferred to fight things out in court, by suing people for ridiculous amounts of money for absolutely any wrongdoings. That was why it was just in his nature to believe that the Kappas started this fight. Legally and even simply appearance wise, given the importance of the event they were at, he knew that would be the best way that this horrible situation could play out - if he could make it seem like it was the Kappas who were on the offensive side. Luckily for him, it was Ben who had thrown the first punch, followed by Daniel tackling Archie to the ground. Both of those assaults were only provoked by words, which meant that legally, they had a case. Obviously, Hudson wasn't seriously planning on taking anything to court, but in his mind, it was important to know that if the law ever did get involved, that any aggression on your part only came out of self defense. He hadn't been here to actually know that that was what his Betas were acting in, but he was lucky that it was true. "Take him, and both of you, get the hell out of here," Hudson snapped, grabbing Maddox by his suit jacket to demand his attention, once he had released Benjamin from the headlock he was holding him in. Given that this event was not just for students, Hudson didn't want to make more of a scene that the two Betas and two Kappas had already made, so he forced himself to remain more calm than he thought could even be possible, given the situation, as he turned to two of the staff members who had rushed over. "And I want these two animals removed from this property immediately, or I'll have the police and my lawyer on the phone faster than your boss will be able to draft your termination notices," he threatened, again, his voice no louder than a hiss, to ensure that no one outside of the small group that this had occurred in, could hear him.

Spotting Daniel's face when he winks at Daisy, Archie can't help but open his mouth to get one final jab in there. That is until he is cut off by Ben's fist flying toward his face. While the punch didn't knock Archie to the ground, Daniel then rugby tackling him did. As Archie was pinned down, a deep ache beginning to hit from his jaw, Archie looked Daniel dead in the eyes. There was no way he was gonna let a Kappa (a fuckin' Kappa) take him down so easily.

Luckily for Archie, his Big quickly stepped into the fight. Wrestling Ben into a headlock, Archie then only needed to worry about Daniel. Archie wasn't one to often go around picking fist fights with everyone, he was rather fit and healthy, which meant that overpower Daniel and pushing him away from his own body, wasn't too hard. Wiping the side of his mouth to check for blood, Archie's eyes narrow as he looks on at Daniel. Oh how badly he wanted to beat the shit out of the guy. Unfortunately for Archie, he was a Beta and therefore knew that beating someone up at an Alumni event was quite possibly the stupidest thing he could do. In fact, Archie would be lucky if he didn't get at least a threat of being kicked out from his house for just this scuffle.

Sharp words and piercing insults were typically Archie's forte, but as Daniel had reduced himself to violent, what was the Beta to do? He couldn't just take it. Jumping up off of the ground, Archie manages to land a punch to Daniel's stomach - hopefully winding the guy - before he feels his arms being pulled back, and he is restrained by the events security. It is then that Hudson, the Betas fearless leader, decides to make his entrance. "Take him, and both of you, get the hell out of here," Hudson seemed to be repressing his anger, letting Archie know that he'd more than likely be seriously in for it later. Pushing the security off him, Archie sends Hudson an almost sincere apologetic look.

Knowing full well that he should be feeling bad for what just happened, Archie still couldn't quite bring himself to wipe the small smirk that forms on his face. Yes, this was the completely wrong place to do this, but at least everyone at the event had seen Ben swing first - Archie hadn't done anything wrong really. Deciding to take in their ever-growing audience, Archie realises that a fair few attendees had turned their attention to the fight.

Kappa Alumni stood, mouths almost hanging open in shock at what they had just witnessed their old houses' brothers do. The Beta Alumni had a rather mixed reaction, some seemed to almost be excited by what had just happened, while others looked down on Archie and Maddox with distain. The Sigma Alumni, however, simply seemed surprised that none of their own were apart of it.

"You're a fucking psycho, dude," Archie eventually says, after everyone else has gotten their two cents in. Looking pointedly at Ben, and then over at Ya Ya, Archie gestures to the still clear angry guy, that stood before him. "He's not really the nice guy you thought he was, huh?" Running a hand through his now dishevelled hair, Archie turns to leave (knowing that's what Hudson wanted) with Maddox, before he spots Daisy walking over once again. "At least I'm not pretending to be something I'm not," Letting his hand glide down her arm, Archie's smile softens slightly, "Which is more than I can say for these two - be careful Daze." Turning to Daniel for the last part, Archie finally takes his leave, hoping Maddox will catch him up.

As he heads for the door, Archie sneaks one final look at Naomi, half hoping she'd come with him but also knowing that was probably not going to happen, he lets the door swing shut behind him as Archie is greeted by the cool night air. He rubs the place where Ben's fist connected with his jaw and sighs, that was definitely not how he saw the night going. Although, it wasn't quite over yet. He hoped there wouldn't be anymore fights, but wouldn't be exactly mad if one of the girls decided that he was a hero (which he thought he was honestly) and came running outside after him, into his arms. Wishful thinking.

The amount of people taking in the situation ebbed and flowed with understandable tension yet disassociation, allowing Amaris to continue watching from her perch at the bar with Blake. Naturally, alumni didn't always aspire to involve themselves in nor entertain the rambunctiousness and immaturity prevalent in college students. Most were full-fledged adults, if not already on the cusp of obtaining the title, lending to the either uninterested or annoyed demeanors Amaris hated noted. She didn't blame them either. Kappas weren't typically involved in as many physical altercations as Betas and esoecially Sigmas had, despite her disdain for having to acknowledge the legitimacy of certain stereotypes. And considering how much love Amaris had for her Kappa brothers and the time a he had had spent with them since her induction into Theta Chi, it should come to no surprise that things like these - unnecessary fights - just weren't things her boys got involved in. So, she didn't have to pay attention nor even involve herself in the proceedings or even aftercare. Not unless she knew one of the people involved Anschluss wanted to make sure they were okay by both smacking them upside their heads while making sure they weren't seriously her yet, even though most paid attention to and complained about the former. However, at least two of her boys - her friends - had acted violently first and Amaris cursed on another sip of her drink when she had seen Ben throw that punch. She definitely felt like not attempting to disassociate when she saw Hudson appear. His presence made her since, particularly once she saw the murderous fire in his eyes. "Damn it, I need to go over there." she stated and grabbed her phone, glancing back at Blake. "Watch my purse for me, babe? I'll be right back."

By the time Amaris had made her way over to the small group, both Daisy and Yuda had been long gone and while her phone vibrated in lieu of a text, hopefully from one of her Theta babies since they always held precedence over any others, Amaris chose not to glance st the device nor acknowledge it so insustence that she do so. Mostly, her attention was focused on the current scene she and the boy surely contained further in Hudson's eyes. Absolutely the two security personnel that had approached upon his requesting that Ben andre Danny be escorted off the premises. "No need to touch them," she insisted, stepping in between Ben and the security guard who was reaching out to grab her in. It was probably in everyone's best interest that Ben wasn't touched, particularly with force by someone he didn't know now but or twice rust. And they aren't off to buy each other friendship bracelets to exclaim to the work that they were besties, but there was no denying that ATL they were good friends. And disappointed Amaris may have been considering she had not heard the conversation leading up to the violence, as noted in the sharply pleading state she met Ben's gazes whrg, she also wasn't going to let him get manhabdled. She did place a gentle yet firm hand on Danny's arm. "They'll go willingly. I'll walk them out myself." The last part wasn't spoken, nor just to the security, but with a direct stare at Hudson. She had a strong feeling that he's really at her right up but bith bits and the entire Kappa Alpha reputation to shreds, and she really didn't feel like an argument. Ben and Danny didn't need to get forced out, the entire situation just got dramatic fast, and she was hoping that she and Hudson were on the same page in chanting the situation to be done with so that no one talked about it.

Finally, her attention was focused solely on Danny and Ben, and Amaris squeezed the forner's shoulder lightly. "Guessing you won't be able to get that dance after all, huh?" She whispered to Danny, mostly to get the the pinched expression off his face with a light jest. "You okay?" Was the follow-up since, regardless of wanting to chastise them both, their well-being took precedence. Her gaze rose back to Ben's a smile she asked, "You good, Ben? Let's head out so I can see you biys hine."

Maddox held Benjamin in place for as long as he could, not so much to fight, but more so to keep him from causing any more damage. Not that he wasn’t tempted to knock the man’s teeth out. He and Ben always kept things civil, never really having any kind of problem, until now. ”Take him and both of you, get the hell out of here” Maddox had heard that tone many times before, never really directed at him, but it was all too familiar. Archie was going to get an earful from their irritated president later, and stepping in to clean up after him meant that Maddox would too. One way of the other. Still, his entrance was like a breath of fresh air. He sighed, still just as annoyed as he was when this all started, and straightened his jacket after almost reluctantly letting go of the main problem behind all this. Animals, as Hudson described, was truly accurate. The Kappas loved to walk around badmouthing the Beta house and everyone in it, yet the Betas weren’t the ones causing a scene in the middle of an important social event for absolutely no reason. They weren't as innocent as they liked to pretend to be, and they had just proved that to everyone in the room.

The event security, and Hudson, seemed to have everything under control which meant that it was time for Maddox to give Archie a piece of his mind. Following the younger Beta outside, he took in a breath of fresh air before firmly positioning himself in front of the other. ”Tell me, Archer, do you just love having me clean up after your messes?” the mam said, arms folded across his chest, genuinely irritated with his little. It was becoming a habit, it seemed, for Maddox to have to step in and get his ass out of trouble. It was starting to become a bit bothersome. Mad would never hesitate to help him, but that was exactly the problem. Archie new that and sometimes it felt like he took advantage of it. ”Do you have any idea what could have happened if I wasn’t there?” at this point Maddox could care less about the scene that was caused, no doubt Hudson would handle everything smoothly just as he always did. His main concern was Archie himself. Benjamin had managed to land a good punch on his face and with Benny 2.0 on his side, Maddox was convinced they would have done some heavy damage. Easing up his stance a bit, he let his hands fall to his side with a huff. ”Honestly, what am I going to do with you. The amount of stress you cause me, I should just quit my job and become your mother full-time” his tone was significantly less rigid now, but still firm enough to let Archie know he wasn’t happy with this. More than just Big and Little by title, they were friends, and driving Archie to the hospital with a busted eye or lip was not something Maddox would have liked to have to do. Luckily, there didn’t appear to be much damage, he decided, after running a hand over the side of his jaw where Ben hand landed the punch. ”Doesn’t look too bad” he muttered, letting his hands ease into his pockets. ”Just ice it for a while and it should be gone in a couple of days”. This entire situation felt all too familiar. Last time it happened they were both drunk, stressed and confused which led to a drunken hook-up. Something the two of them swore to never bring up again. Still, it hasn’t been that long since it happened, which meant that the confused feelings were still hanging around. ”How long do you plan on staying?” he asked, hoping he’d say it wouldn’t be much longer. Maddox wanted nothing more than to leave the event right then and there, but if Archie stayed, he would have to stay too to make sure the trouble maker didn’t go around provoking more fights. Even though, if Archie stayed behind on his own, Hudson would most likely be monitoring him the rest of the night. Still, if ARchie gave the word, he would stay.

Everything came crashing down in a matter of seconds. A punch to the jaw, a tackle to the ground, a head caught in a strong lock. Naomi instinctively stepped back from the brawl, only to step forward again.

"Guys! Guys! Cut it out! Archie, stop! Danny, get off him!"

Her cries may as well have been whispers, for all the good they did. The boys kept fighting, and it wasn't until a couple of bouncers approached, followed shortly by Hudson, that they were all separated.

Catching Archie's self-satisfied smirk, she felt a jab of frustration.

You idiot. Are you seriously proud of yourself?

Then he glanced back at her, and she felt a pang of something else. Concern? Regret? It couldn't be either. Why should she be concerned? He started the whole debacle when he began talking out of his ass. And as for regret... as if she had anything to be regretful for. The scenario that had played out was set in stone. There was no replays to be had. No try again's.

Honestly, it was probably a good thing.

Still, her gaze lingered for a moment on the retreating pair before she sighed and turned to Yaya, eyes clear with concern. Reaching out to touch her shoulder reassuringly, she asked her sister the very obvious question.

"You okay?"

The whole thing ended almost as fast as it had started. Archie connected an elbow to Danny's forehead, causing Danny to loosen his grip. Archie wriggled free, and landed a blow in Danny's gut. Danny's breath caught in his chest for a few moments causing him to lose focus. Hudson was yelling something that Danny didn't really listen to, and security guards were pouncing on him and Ben. Danny spotted Amaris coming towards them. "No need to touch them," she said calmly as she approached. The guard loosened his grip, and Danny jerked his shoulder away, stepping closer to Amaris. She placed a hand on his arm, starting to pull him away. "They'll go willingly. I'll walk them out myself." Danny let a small smile form on his face. Amaris was always so calm, so in control. He admired that about her.

Danny kept his head down as they exited the crowd. Once free of the cluster of people, he glanced up to see Daisy in passing. Archie passed by and whispered in her air, glancing at Danny. Danny tensed up again, but the gentle touch of Amaris on his shoulder helped him relax. Her tone was soft, helping him refocus on her, "Guessing you won't be able to get that dance after all, huh?" She whispered to Danny. "Yeah, maybe another time." Danny half smiled at the girl. She was being genuine and checking on him. "You okay?" she asked. Danny laughed off the question softly, "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for the errrr... help. He scratched the back of his head as he spoke. She really had saved their asses. She turned back to Ben, "You good, Ben? Let's head out so I can see you boys home."

Danny nodded at her and begun his walk to the door. He really was ready to leave. Remembering Daisy behind him, Danny detoured her way on his way out. He leaned in close to her, scratching his head nervously again. He still wanted her with him at the end of the night. Trying to speak softly in light of the past five minutes, he said, "So ummm... I'm gonna head out with Amaris and Ben. You mind ummm... maybe coming back to the Kappa house with me. You could help me clean this up." He rubbed the cut on his eye made by Archie's elbow and pointed at the small blood stain on his tie. He smiled at Daisy, looking her up and down. She was absolutely gorgeous. She may have actually had Danny nervous at the moment. He hoped his impulsiveness hadn't ruined his chance at taking her home.

Before he left the party he decided to shoot out a few text.

Did Ben and Daniel just get kicked out? Of an ALUMNI event? Holy hell. Hayden was confused. Didn't the other guy start it.

"Um what the hell," the Kappa spoke. He moved towards the two who got into a fight with his Kappa brothers and silently looked at them. "Sorry if I'm intruding, but, may I ask what the hell started that fight? I don't think my friends would honestly attack without reason, the male asked. He looked towards Maddox and Archie. He realized he only knew one of them, and that was barely. He did know about Ben and Daniel's temper. But they were at an event where it should've been kept under control. He decided to send a text towards the Kappa guys and was a bit upset.

TO: Big Ben, St. Nick, & ❤ Danny ❤
WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED!? I want an explanation via text, right now. I'm not very sure this will end good. I want to talk to both Nick and Ben when I get home.

Hayden stood there looking at the two males. They looked pretty cute with their injuries. Too bad, they got into a fight with his Big Brother and best friend.

"Get the fuck off of me! Get your fucking hands off me!"
Stuck in a headlock, Ben wrestled against the tight hold Maddox had on him, trying to get out. To no avail, Ben started to calm down – not by choice, but rather by force. The grip Maddox had around the Kappa’s neck was causing Ben to see stars. The red from Ben’s eyes disappeared, but the rage inside him did not. Maddox only eased his grips when Hudson came to face the altercation, threatening with police and lawyers had the Kappa brothers not been escorted off the premises. Ben stood up straight, rubbing his neck where the hold was the tightest. He directed his eyes towards Archie, who had decided to keep running his mouth. Ben furrowed his brows and narrowed his eyes to Archie but said nothing. Something instinctual come over Ben the moment he swung, something he had left in Brazil, in his past. Archie brought it out of him, and this was the exact moment where Ben realized that Archie was much more dangerous for Ben than he had originally thought. Before Hudson could get police on the premises and before anyone unknown to Ben forcibly removed him from the event, Amaris made her way through the crowd, personally escorting the two Kappa’s outside. Ben nodded to the girl when she asked if he was alright – still too angry to use words, but more than ready to disappear from the embarrassment he just caused all his friends and alumni.

Yaya watched as Ben was escorted out by Amaris and quickly went into action. She followed him and Danny outside, not sure if she should embrace him or not. She bit her lip, when Ben got like that it was kind of a damned it you do damned if you don't situation, but eventually rolled her shoulders and approached him outside. She stroked one of his marred cheeks and tilted her head to the side, "C'mon why did you do that Benji?"She said leaning up to kiss the corner of his mouth where his lip was bleeding. Ben wanted to pull away from Yaya. He wanted to tell her to stop touching him because he was still fuming and sore. He wanted to yell when she started lightly scolding him for getting into a fight. "Dammit you can't just fight in front of the benefactors." She added crossing her arms over her chest.

Ben looked at Yaya as she crossed her arms across her chest, no longer touching Ben where he got hit. His burrows were still furrowed, his face still showed anger. Ben wanted to do so much right now, but he didn't. He eased his eyebrows from their angered position, took a deep breath and loudly exhaled. Ben broke eye contact with Yaya, "I know babe. I know. I fucked up. I just want to go home now, okay? I don't want to argue anymore." Ben turned back to look at her. "My face hurts, my neck is sore. I just want some ice and to lay down."

Abigail couldn't believe the actions from the three guys that had just transpired before her. She was in utter shock and stunned that they would do something like that in front of the alumni. Abby really wanted to break them up but she was a little bit too short and fragile for all of that, so there wasn't much she could do. Her eyes watched as people dispersed from the area and new people came over to break them up along with escorting them outside. She had let out a soft sigh as she walked over to the bar and placed the drink that was handed to her by Daniel down upon the counter top. After that, she walked outside and searched for Ben.

Her gaze went over towards him as she also saw Yaya standing over there with him with her arms folded. 'This might not be a good time.' Abby thought to herself but walked over there anyway in a hesitant manner. When she approached the duo, she stared at Yaya first before switching her gaze over towards Ben. "Hey, just wanted to come over and make sure that you were okay."' She said then looked at his face and widened her eyes. "Oh, my goodness, you're bleeding and you look a little bruised. Be right back." She said as she walked back into the building for a few minutes then came back out with ice wrapped in a towel as she handed it towards him. "There you go." She said with a smile then looked over towards Yaya before shifting her eyes back to Ben. "We really need to clean that cut, as well. Don't want it to get infected." She added.

Yaya watched as Abigail cared for Ben and felt a pang of jealousy form in the pit of her stomach. She took the towel and ice from her and placed herself directly in front of Ben, "Actually,"She said gently placing the ice on the side of Ben's face that was bruised, "We don't need to do anything" She clarified, annunciating the "we" more than necessary. "I'm taking Ben back to the house and I'm going to take care of him." She sent a meaningful glance over her shoulder before turning her head back around to stare at Ben's chest rather than his eyes.

"I'm telling you, as my little that you should either go back to the house and keep your nose out of this trouble or you need to get back in there and make yourself useful." She locked eyes with ben, "Unless you have some reason unknown to me why my little should be taking care of you." Her hazel eyes pierced into his and she wondered if he could see the the emotions raging inside of her.

Ben's chest felt a little tight. He liked that there was a fire being lit under Yaya ass that finally made him feel less crazy for being jealous. She was finally feeling what he had been feeling every time he'd stop by her job and see her with all the guys she worked with. At the same time, he didn't want Ayala to feel the same pressure he did. It hurt seeing her working with all those guys, and as much as he appreciates that she understands now what it feels like, he doesn't want anyone feeling this way, much less Yaya. Ben looked at Abigail and back at Ya, making eye contact with the girl. Her eyes pierced through him like she was looking into his soul. It scared him a little, to be honest. He took a breath before speaking, he was afraid to speak at all. "I mean, if she doesn't want to stay at the party, I don't see why she can't come back with us, but that's between you two. You're obviously the one taking care of me, babe." A bead of sweat moved down Ben's temple. He was treading very deep waters right now; one wrong move and all would be over for Ben.

Yaya slid her gaze from Ben to Abby and shrugged non-committedly, "Well?" She said with just a hint of attitude,"Are you coming or staying? Because I'm calling the uber now." She glanced up at her as she opened the app on her screen, "It'll be here in five minutes." She said finally once she requested the ride. Though in all honesty she was saying it more to Ben than to Abby because she didn't really want Abby to go with them.

When the people involved in the fight, including his Beta brothers, evacuated the building, Hudson felt more relaxed. Not drastically more relaxed, but more relaxed than he had before. At least now, the troublemakers were gone, and he could work on damage control. It looked like Valentine was already on that, which Hudson appreciated, but when Hudson passed by one of their chairmen, he caught the man's eye and decided to try to earn back some brownie points for his boys, too. The man seemed only remotely interested in the fight that had just went done, so without lingering on it for too long, Hudson ensured him that the two Kappa boys were the ones at fault. He constructed his own recollection of the fight, informing him that apparently, Ben and Danny had been so intoxicated that they had started to badmouth the Theta and Alpha girls that were standing near them. When Archie and Maddox, the Betas, began to defend the girls, the Kappas lunged on them for no reason other than being incredibly drunk and unruly, and blatantly disrespectful. The graying man seemed to believe it without a second thought, and continued to question Hudson about his plans for the next year.

Amaris' entrance wasn't needed if you asked Hudson, and really, he would probably tell her it was an interruption, but he couldn't keep himself from smiling just slightly at how smooth and well-spoken she was in stealing him away from the older man. Hudson bid him farewell and thanked him for his time, before focusing his attention on Amaris once they were on their own. "Come on, Hamilton. You should know better. People like me are interested in the dollar signs. People like you are interested in justice. If I wanted justice, I could lawyer my boys up for that nice little punch that that pathetic excuse of a Greek member threw. What am I going to get out of suing, aside from that worthless dose of justice? Chump change - Which I'm sure is equivalent to dollar signs for you Thetas and Kappas, but for me, not worth it. I'll let the board deal with those two pieces of garbage, but hey, we can still add this to the long, long list of things that you owe me for, yeah?" he said, a sly smirk on his face as he feigned a sincere smile. "Now if you'd excuse me," he continued, his eyes turning to his phone as he continued to talk, "There's a glass of scotch calling my name at the bar. Should we add a drink to the list of the things that you owe me for, too? What're you drinking tonight, Theta? Water? Apple juice?"
As he playfully taunted Amaris, he was busy texting the entirety of the Beta fraternity, in a few separate group chats.

To: Beta Brothers
As some of you may have heard, the garbage from the Kappa house consumed a little bit too much alcohol tonight. Not much of a surprise, considering we all know the fairies are lightweights, but those Mike's Hard and cranberry vodkas they drank fucked them up enough to think that talking down to our lovely Alpha girls was appropriate. Archie and Maddox stepped up to the plate and tried to get them to back off, but the animals decided to throw punches at one of the most important events of the year. Unfortunate for them, but if any of the alumni ask tonight, feel free to let them know that the only reason why our brothers were involved was pure chivalry.

[To Cy: Leaving- you coming with or catching an uber?]

Maddox sends the text after parting ways with Archie, but not before giving his little one last warning to stay out of trouble. The night is still so young. Maddox estimates he's been at the event for about two hours, two and a half at best, but it feels like much much longer. Given the fact that he didn't exactly want to attend in the first place, and with the addition of everything that has happened tonight, he's more than ready to take his leave. He cautiously heads back inside, avoiding any chance of colliding with Hudson. The lecture can be saved for later. He's more than certain that his president won't forget. Under normal circumstances, he would say his goodbyes to everyone personally, but meeting with them meant possibly running into the pissed-off Beta president. Scripted goodbyes were much safer.

[To Abby: Are you okay? Sorry that dance didn't work out for us... I'm heading out early so be careful going home]

[To Omi: You okay?]

Once sent, the he decides to find Cyrus. His blondie hasn't answered yet, but Mad can guess where he is and right now he doesn't have the patience necessary to wait for a replying text. "Sorry if I'm intruding, but, may I ask what the hell started that fight? I don't think my friends would honestly attack without reason" Maddox looks over at the newcomer, just barely recognizing his face, but not exactly sure from where. Also a Kappa if he's remembering correctly, the Beta lets out a slight chuckle, placing a hand softly on the other's shoulder and leaning down slightly to match his eye level. "sounds like you need to get to know your friends a little better" he says low enough only for him to hear before straightening up again. "Hayden. right?" he says, the name suddenly coming to him. "Don't worry too much about it". He leaves the boy with a smile before walking past him into the large crowd, hoping to quickly find the man he's looking for.

Said Sigma had been watching the fight with keen interest, but not enough interest to intervene. It was certainly a surprise to see Maddox join in, not because Cyrus didn't think he would defend his little, but the detached, dangerous side of Maddox Cyrus has never seen before. It a twisted way, it turned him on; that feeling quickly deflated when Hudson stepped into the circle and ended the fight just as it started to get good. Cyrus turns to Blake, setting his empty drink down at the bar. "Well, fun's over. I guess I should head out before Daddy James tries to pester me any further. And I have a handsome guest waiting to inhabit my bed. Good night, my honorable big brother, and if I don't see someone in your bed tomorrow, I may have to bang you myself." Cyrus' suggestive words are all playful, and only in the vicinity of him and Blake. Heaven forbid, if someone heard him talking like that...

As Cyrus makes his way towards the entrance, and away from the commotion, his phone buzzes in his pocket. "My mistress calls." He chuckles to himself as he sees "MADDY" light up his screen. The Beta asks if Cyrus is going to leave with him or catch an Uber, and when Cyrus goes to reply, he feels a familiar presence near him. Looking up, he notices the very person he was about to text right in front of him.

”I’m too sober and annoyed to stay here much longer” the Beta mutters with a sigh, glad that Cyrus is alone. He’s also too sober and annoyed to have to make up some story as to why they’re leaving together. Most know that the Sigma and Beta are “friends”, for lack of a better word, but given the circumstances and what usually ends up happening on the nights of these events, them leaving together would definitely raise suspicion and that’s the last thing he needs right now. Still, they need to think of a cover story, in case anyone sees and/or asks. ”I’m parked towards the back” he adds as he pulls out his keys, assuming the blonde is accepting his offer to get a ride.

Cyrus raises his eyebrows toward the Beta, only because he usually has a lighter tone of voice when speaking to his "favorite Sigma", as Cyrus would say. "I'm pretty drunk right now," He adds effect by stumbling slightly, an almost real drunken giggle escaping his mouth, "So you offered to drive me home. What are friends for?" Cyrus winks at Maddox, stuffing his hands into his pockets. He knew just as well as the Beta how they had to keep up appearances as "just friends". Considering this night though, maybe it would be best for them to move their plans off-campus.

Maddox can't tell if Cyrus is acting or actually as drunk as he appears to be. Either way, it worked for whatever cover story they would most likely have to use next. Well aware that the atmosphere inside was making him more anxious and tense than he would like to be, he swung one of Cyrus' arms around his shoulder, if only for appearances sake, and heads outside. Thankful for the fresh night air. "First Archie and now you. I should start charging every time I have to look after one of you". His tone may sound a bit stiffer than he meant it too, but for the most part, it's a byproduct of the stressful night. In all honestly, Maddox never minds looking after either of them. Something he would only ever do for a select few.

Cyrus chuckles, letting the other boy wrap his arm around his shoulder for support. Honestly, Cyrus is drunk, but not enough to require assistance. Either way, Cyrus took advantage of the situation and pressed a quick kiss to the other boy's neck, hidden by his arm wrapped around Maddox's shoulders but hopefully allowing for Maddox to relax. He finally replies, "I think what we're doing tonight is payment enough, wouldn't you agree, baby?" The pet name is added in for a blush effect on the Beta, there's no romantic feelings behind it. What they're about to do will leave both parties satisfied, no matter how much they playfully banter with each other now.

Maddox has to hand it to the blondie, he certainly has a knack for changing his mood. ”Yeah, yeah…” he mumbles, attempting to still show annoyance but failing miserably. A smile slowly tugs at his lips, probably adding to Cyrus’ smug look. The flush of pink across his face at the mention of the pet name probably doesn’t help either. Maddox blames it on the weird mood he’s in. Girls call him “baby” all the time. This is no different. Once they’re both inside the car, Maddox takes off, eager to get as far away from the place as possible. ”No jumping out the window” he states, eyes fixed on the road. ”I don’t need any more injuries”. Almost immediately after it’s said, he regrets it. The comment has left a door open for Cyrus to talk about the fight, and most likely make fun of it.

Cyrus snorts at the comment. "You know, people were worried about us "damn bastards" in Sigma ruining the night, but none of us were even involved! But you had to poke your little nose in, Maddy, and you sure showed those Kappas who's boss. Think you can do the same for me?" Cyrus purrs right into Maddox's ear, his breath hot and sweet with alcohol on the other boy's skin. One of Cyrus's favorite activities with Maddox is to see just how far he can rile the Beta up before it either hits him right back or he's victorious. For now, it seems like Maddox's mood has heightened Cyrus's chance of winning tonight, but he never takes his guard down. Constant teasing usually led to Cyrus bettering the mood of the other boy, which would allow for Maddox to tease right back, usually leading to both of the boys with reddening faces.

Maddox knows exactly what he's trying to do, but despite his bitter mood, he’s not planning on letting him win so easily. The Sigma’s hot breath against his neck gives him goosebumps from head to toe, and he’s never been happier to be wearing a suit. A low chuckle finally escapes him, the kind that usually signals he’s ready to strike back. If Cyrus thought he had an advantage tonight he was sorely mistaken. ”If you really want to go down that road” he says thoughtfully before taking advantage of the blonde’s proximity and turning his head long enough for their eyes to meet. ”Then so we shall, sweetheart” he almost purrs, adding in a devious smirk for good measure. Turning his attention back to the road, he picks up speed, taking the fastest route to his own apartment off campus.

The next few words that leave Maddox's mouth leave Cyrus a bit stunned, realizing he would have a fight tonight. But with Maddox, isn't every night a feisty one? Maddox turns his head, accepting Cyrus's challenge for the night, his eyes locking with Cyrus's for a long enough moment for Cyrus's cheeks to heat up. The blonde's mouth drops open, but only for a moment, twisting into a satisfied and wicked grin. "Naughty boy..." Cyrus murmurs under his breath, licking his lips in satisfaction. He always loved the fight, especially with a boy like Maddox. When this first started, Maddox was just a pretty face who ended up looking just as nice under the sheets, but he's starting to enjoy, almost-- love? -- their time together.

But tonight is not about any romantic feelings, Cyrus has to keep telling himself. The more he depends on those feelings driving his night, the deeper and more confusing this relationship will become. "Taking advantage of me... in a state like this? You're naughtier than I thought, Izumi." Cyrus teases, feeling the warmth of slight drunkenness in his stomach. The alcohol only emblazons him, gets rid of any inhibitions that may have been in his sober mind.

”I’ve never claimed to be a good guy” Maddox retorts, smirk still in place. ”And you should know better than to mess with me” the second part of the statement comes out almost as a threat, firm enough to let Cyrus know he’s in for it. The apartment parking lot is almost empty when they finally arrive, sign that not very many people are home, meaning that they can be as loud as they want. Which they usually are, regardless of who's home and who isn't. After taking a moment to make sure the car is locked, they head up to the penthouse. Maddox had just been there in the morning, but it definitely felt nice to be back. The atmosphere is much calmer than that of the Beta house.

The hallway lights slowly turn on one by one and Maddox can finally see Cyrus’ face more clearly. His cheeks are a bright pink color, probably a side effect of the alcohol, or of Maddox, or quite possibly a mixture of both. ”How many drinks did you have, exactly?” he asks with a chuckle.

"Not that many!" Cyrus cries out, almost indignantly. He doesn't mean to sound almost childish, but he wasn't going to let Maddox get the upper hand on him. As they walk towards Maddox's apartment, Cyrus feels more and more "in the zone" as Jack would say. Once they're nearing the apartment, Cyrus grabs Maddox by the belt loops and presses him against the nearest wall, their bodies smashed against each other. Cyrus adopts a seductive look in his eye, and retaliates with, "You should know better than to underestimate me, baby." With the mix of alcohol, and both the boys in a certainly better mood, the night can only get better from here. And in Cyrus's mind, he would be the reason why, though that may be in part to his rare, but still present, ego.

Maddox can't help but let out a chuckle, as expected, his little sigma bettered his mood in a matter of minutes, already managing to make him forget about the tense situation back at the event. It's a skill, really. A skill that Maddox really wishes the boy didn't have. Shutting down any unecessary thoughts, he pulls the blonde inside, pushing him down onto the nearest couch. The Beta serveys him for a moment before pointing at the bow around his neck. "I hate bowties" he says nonchalantly, slowly tugging on an end until it's come undone. "That needs to go". After tossing the small piece of fabric aside, his gaze moves to the other's jacket. "Not a big fan of that jacket either" he says as if he's actually critisizing his fashion sense, and teasingly pulls it off of him. A sly smile works it's way onto his face before his eyes wander down to the blonde's pants. "And those...too tight" he says with a slow shake of the head. "Might as well not be wearing any"

Just like his Beta to take the upper hand. As much as Cyrus tries to be the dominant one, having someone like Maddox makes him lose his usual authority. Still, he tucks in any teasing when he can, though he's preoccupied with the Beta taking off his clothes for him. "Wore them just for you to take them off," Cyrus jokes, taking a moment to bring the other boy's lips to his own. Cyrus pulls away for a moment, surveying Maddox's clothes with his own discretion. "How are you to be critizing my clothing choice when you're wearing that? Sugar, we're gonna have to take everything off." Cyrus says, eyeing the other boy and biting his lip.

As fun as it is, for a moment ater their lips meet, Maddox forgets their little play fight. If only momentarily. An effect he really wishes the Sigma didn't have on him. He hates it...truly and utterly hates it, almost as much as he hates the fact that he can't ignore it. "well then...have at it" he purrs, slowly pulling Cyrus' lips back up to his, almost craving them, as if that's the only thing he truly cared about right now. This seems to happen every time the two are together, regardless of what they're doing, Maddox craves the other's attention. It's been happening much more often than he'd like to admit, and he keeps telling himself that coming back to Cyrus is a bad, very bad, reckless idea, but never follows through. Instead, he ignores whatever feelings may be hovering around and focuses purely on the physical, just as he's doing now as their lips meet for a much longer time than before. Feelings have nothing to do with it.

Cyrus could only smile, really smile, as Maddox continued to kiss him. What happened next dissolved into a tangling of limbs, many kisses between the two, and both of them very naked on this very expensive couch. It should have just been that, but both of them feel too much for the other for this experience to be purely physical. Cyrus had to restrain himself from doing or saying anything that would even suggest his feelings for Maddox, focusing on how good Maddox's body looked, especially without any clothes. But anything Maddox did that indicated he was having a good time, a great time by the sound of it, set Cyrus's heart on fire. Anything Cyrus did that Maddox liked, he would do it again, he would do it ten thousand times just to please this boy, this infuriating Beta that he likes a lot more than he should. It doesn't help that they make excuses to see each other all the time, excluding these past few weeks. The gap allows for Cyrus to be much more appreciative of it now.

This wasn’t the first hook-up of the week for Maddox, not even close, but something about this situation here and now felt...different. Almost as if the five previous days hadn’t even happened. Usually, he can get away with convincing himself that Cyrus means nothing to him... but recently...it's been getting harder, almost impossible to do so. Common sense told Maddox that he needed to put a stop to this before it ended biting him in the ass, but common sense was nowhere to be found tonight. Somehow, the two boys ended up in Mad's bed, tangled up in the expensive sheets and pillows and despite the nagging feeling in the back of Maddox's mind telling him to end it right then and there, he couldn't. That's enough...stop!- he keeps repeating in his head, time and time again, until he finally does, almost struggling to catch his breath, but his eyes met Cyrus' bright blues and any resolution he had to end things disappears, just like that. All he wanted now was to keep the blonde here, in his bed, for as long as the other allowed him.

Cyrus could sense, once their eyes met, that Maddox was overthinking something; he could practically see the gears turning in the other boy's head. He puts a hand on each side of Maddox's face and makes him look at him. "Hey, stop thinking for a little bit, okay?" Cyrus produces a genuine smile after his words, a smile only few see these days. Cyrus was being sort of a hypocrite, with his mangling thoughts thinking of things much too romantic, but he pushes them to the back of his mind. Something Maddox isn't doing very well now. Cyrus pecks the other boy's lips and lets his eyes trail up and down the other boy's body. "I'm sure whatever you're thinking about isn't as important as me." Cyrus teases, leading Maddox into a deeper kiss, his arms wrapping around Maddox's neck.

Maddox almost has to laugh at Cyrus' last statement, stopped only by the other's lips. Not as important... he repeats in his head but immediately discards it, deciding to take his advice and stop thinking. Thinking too much can be dangerous, especially under a situation like this where a thought could lead to him saying or doing something that he will regret. Thinking isn't needed in sex, it's only an obsticle. Locking up all of his thoughts at the very back of his mind, his focus now is Cyrus' body moving in sync with his. Nothing else matters. Nothing else should matter. Come next morning, they'll each go their seperate ways, forgetting what happened the night before, just like it should be.

Nothing matters. Nothing matters except their bodies moving against each other. In the heat of the moment, Cyrus has gotten very good at ignoring his thoughts toward Maddox. When he first realized he had actual feelings toward the Beta, he was slightly distant, because everything in his head was making their time together more meaningful. But he learned quick how to shut it off. And until now, it seemed to be working. Now, however, he can't help but feel Maddox's heart beat in his chest and get sucked into Maddox's eyes and-- fuck, he's in way over his head. Right in the middle of this "fun", Cyrus pulls away, his breath heavy and body tense. "Maddox I think I-" the rest of the sentence chokes him as Maddox looks him right in the eye. He almost coughs at the effort to get words out. "-I need to go."

He realizes just how deep-- how fucked --he is and one more minute with Maddox might just break his resolve to keep the boy in the dark on Cyrus's attraction to him. All those thoughts he pushed away are rushing back at him and it's too much to bear. He hikes his pants back on and unintentionally grabs Maddox's shirt instead of his own.

For once in his life, Maddox was speechless. Leave it to Cyrus to leave him scrambling for words. Not that there is anything he could possibly say to make the situation any better, quite the opposite in fact. One simple word could make this ten times worse, so he opts out of responding, watching the blonde ready himself to leave. Half of Maddox wants to tell him to stay, at least five minutes longer, but the logical side tells him he has to go. This is what Maddox thought of doing in the first place, so why does it feel like his heart is being shattered into tiny pieces. "Right..." he mutters, pushing himself off the bed. "This was fun and all but I have class first thing tomorrow so go on" his tone is icy, but he refuses to look the blonde in the eyes. Not going to make that mistake twice. Leaving the other to gather his things, he heads towards the bathroom, putting in one last "Lock the door on your way out" before closing the bathroom door behind him.

"Why do you look like a supermodel?"

"Why do you look like shit?" Amaris shot back, unrepentant, as she approached the haggard-looking Kappa. Nick shot her an unimpressed glare, but Amaris only raised a delicate eyebrow, stopping directly in front of where he sat. It was only 11:25 and very much still morning, but Nick had been up and about at eight in the morning for a three hour lab he honestly should have scheduled for the afternoon. However, like the dumb ass Amaris had called him when they were planning out their schedules just before the summer, Nick had insisted on doing a few classes in the morning. He was up anyway; he had mused. Except, he obviously hadn't factored in nights like last night, where he had chugged more rum and cokes he probably should have. Luckily, he hadn't thrown his entire existence up in the toilet - a win, if you asked him - but he damn sure didn't leave unscathed. Amaris had made sure to give him enough water to counteract the worst part of the hangover, but there was no denying by the tired look on his features. Amaris held two travel mugs in her hands and after a shake of her head, which was accompanied by a light chuckle, she handed one of them to him.

"Such a good friend. Provides for me while insulting me, I'm so grateful," he replied sarcastically. He did, in the next breath, gratefully take two large swallows of the caffeinated beverage, delighting in the hot sweetness that flowed on his tongue. While Amaris acted like she had hated her job at Starbucks during freshman year, she hadn't walked away from it without skills and the truth was that Nick preferred going to the Theta house for his coffee fixes as opposed to Starbucks. They had a lot of the same syrups and even fixings, and Amaris made a mean caramel snickerdoodle frappucino, a treat from Starbucks' secret menu that still tasted great with her Lavazza espresso. He practically moaned on another drink and Amaris rolled her eyes as he declared, This is everything."

"I bet." Sipping at her own, Amaris waited for him to rise for them to continue, heading towards towards the gated entrance so that they could leave to get to the food trucks that lined the sidewalk during this time. Most days, Fulton Students finessed their way through the lunch rush at the Student Center's main cafeteria, hoping to get that quick bite in between classes or at the various small delis, bakeries, sushi spots, grille, and coffee shops on campus. They had pretty decent chefs on campus, that much Amaris had realized during freshman year, but the real treat was at the food trucks of Miami that came to take up college kid dollars that honestly should be kept in their wallets. However, the food was always good, no one ever walked away unsatisfied, and she herself had partaken in the food truck frenzy a few times. Today wasn't that day as, since she hadn't had to go to work first thing in the morning because she had been helping with a project that had taken up some late nights, which resulted in her having Monday off, she had cooked for herself to save a bit of money. Her spaghetti squash mixed with kale, apples, and chicken sat, warm, in a container, inside of her purse beside a Vitamin water, just waiting for them to sit and eat. "Unlike some people, I had to meet with the board this morning since certain people's brothers decided they were street fighters at an alumni event."

"Hey, you said that you saw what happened - "

"Yes, and regardless of what might have incited the first blow, one of your boys was the one who delivered it," Amaris interrupted, giving Nick a rather pointed look. While she had definitely stressed the fact that obviously the boys had responded in lieu of a verbal assault from the Betas, and also making sure the board remembered that there was a lengthy history of assaults from the Betas that hadn't resulted in last night's actions and that such a display was bound to happen at their behest due to their own negligence (yes, Amaris took that risk), the Kappas boys involved weren't exactly going to walk away without reprimanding and a small punishment. Neither were the two Beta boys, regardless of their acting in self-defense. "Ben and Danny have to do seventy-two hours of community service and help clean up after the Beta and Alpha event on Wednesday." Nick's mouth opened, but he closed it a moment later.

"And the other guys?"

"Community service," she replied, nodding at the truck Nick was bound to pick. He had a deep love for anything Asian and Amaris liked Dim Ssam a Go-Go just as much as he did. Nick shot her a small smile before heading over to look at the menu he was already familiar with. "Might as well text them, though. We need to have a meeting to make that announcement." Nick frowned, but he didn't refuse, pulling out his own phone just as Amaris pulled out her own from her Saint Laurent purse.

To: Hudson
Your boys need to fulfill 72 hrs of community service. Monetary contributions to foundations do not count, I checked.

To: Hayden, Danny, Ben
Meeting in an hour. Getting lunch now, but Mare has the verdict from the board.

Hudson chuckled quietly at Amaris' message. She was such a know-it-all, and though it was endearing to an extent, Hudson liked to find it more amusing than appealing. He let his ego talk when she turned on Madam President mode, as he wondered to himself just who she thought she was talking to. Did she not realize that he was Hudson Allen? The Hudson Allen? Did she really think that after two of his Betas were involved in a scuffle at an important event, that his damage control would end come the night's end? If she did, then she didn't deserve the credit she got for being smart, because clearly, she wasn't all she was chalked up to be. Of course Hudson's first move in the morning was to phone the head of Fulton's Greek board, and discuss the fight that his members were involved in. He would have went in to meet with them in person, but his three classes today were consecutive morning ones, so physically meeting with them was not possible. Contacting them in some way was the only logical thing for a good president to do, of course, but even if no fight had occurred, Hudson still would have called in. He knew how important it was to maintain connections and appear like he cared, even if he didn't really. Unsurprisingly, the reaction that the higher-ups had to the fight wasn't a pleasant one, even though they were well aware that the Betas merely acted in self-defense. Hudson rolled his eyes when it was explained to him that even given this, the board had settled on the two boys being required to complete seventy-two hours of community service, but verbally made sure to sound actually pleased at the assignment. It would be an annoyance, and he doubted that Archie and Maddox would be happy about it, but Hudson knew that it wouldn't be too big of a deal.

His father was involved in many philanthropic efforts across the country and globe, and Hudson knew that it would be a breeze to get seventy-two hours of signed off service for his two Betas. He probably could have got it signed off without them having to lift a finger, but given that the two of them did make fools out of themselves, Hudson was going to make sure that they completed the service. He was already planning on requiring the boys to put together some sort of fundraiser, be it a bake sale, barbecue, car wash, or whatever, to support some local cause, with a shelter for homeless veterans, and a local nursing home, being the first that came to mind.that they would hold more than once. He had received confirmation that as long as the boys were actually working the fundraising event, it would count as service hours, albeit indirect community service, and then, using the donated money, the boys would put together care packages for whatever organization they chose, deliver the care packages, and spend the day volunteering there. If they spent four days, two weekends, doing this, Hudson was convinced that they would be fine. Sure, maybe he was cutting a few corners, but he was sure that he could write off five hours as "preparation" for the fundraising event, in the form of the boys handing out flyers, contacting people via social media, and gathering the needed supplies for the event. Then, four days of the actual fundraiser, over two weekends, would equal thirty-two hours, at eight hours a day, plus an hour for the setup and cleanup each day. The day of the actual volunteering at the two given charities could consist of an eight hour shift as well, especially if they whipped up some sort of party or event to host at the shelter or nursing home for the residents. Fifty seven hours right there. He would allow the boys to choose how to spend their last fifteen hours of volunteering, be it in the form of volunteer tutoring on campus, helping out at an after school program for a local elementary school, or helping older neighbors in the neighboring suburban communities with yard work. Needless to say, Hudson already had a game plan, so he certainly was not worried, and did not need Amaris trying to inform him of anything. Regardless, though, her text brought a smirk to his face as he sat in his lecture class, and he was quick to reply to her. If nothing else, the text had reminded him that he needed to inform his brothers of their new requirement. Additionally, he sent a text to Weston.

To: Amaris
You humor me, Hamilton, you really do. Still drunk from last night? Only explanation I can come up with for why you'd imagine that I didn't speak with the board myself. Both of my boys have secured volunteer opportunities, and you know that in the worst case scenario, the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation would always appreciate their help, so no need to worry about us ;). Might I suggest that you send the Kappa boys down to the side of the highway to pick up trash? You know, get them prepared for the kind of work that felons do during court ordered community service, since prison seems like their next destination?

To: Maddox, Archie
Board wasn't happy with the show you put on last night, but as I told them, it was pure chivalry. Don't know if they believed it anymore than I believe it myself, but they want 72 hours of community service out of you. We'll throw 2 weekends worth of fundraisers on campus for a nursing home or shelter or something, and then spend 2 days volunteering at the organization. Thinking that we throw Halloween parties for old people at some of the nursing homes in the area, but I'll figure it out. Gonna turn it into a Beta-wide event, and I'll make sure that it takes care of 57 hours of the requirement, so you two can figure out what to do with the other 15.

To: Weston
Just letting you know that "you" sent flowers to Charlotte today. She should get them by 3 PM. You're welcome.

Archie had ended up going home alone the night before. Something that was a rather rare occurrence for the young Beta. Being good looking and apart of the most sought after house on campus meant Archie really had the pick of most people, and Archie was never one to turn an offer like that down. However, although he may have gained a few bruises here and there, Archie also quite possibly got some sense knocked into him a the previous nights Alumi event. Waking up this morning with a rattling head and aching jaw, Archie finally realised that he'd properly fucked up this time. Of course, the guy had a fairly well known reputation for being a little bit of a troublemaker, but never to this extent. Wanting to make amends for last night, but still maintaining the stance that it was the Kappa houses fault (they did swing first), Archie shoots off a few texts.

To: Omi
I realise I kinda fucked up last night. Forgive me? 0:-)

To: Mad
If Hudson doesn't kill me this hangover will. Thanks for looking out for me tho, man.

To: Daze
You ok today?

Just as Archie has sent those off, his phone beeps with an incoming text. It's a group message from Hudson, informing them that those involved in the fight have been giving community service from the board. Hudson, being Hudson, had already figured out the easiest way for Archie and Maddox to complete that, whilst still making the Beta house look good. Hosting a fundraiser was a great way to make the Beta house look like good guys, they were raising money for charity after all! Albeit because they were given community service, but still, Archie doubted the Kappas would have thought to do something like that, it was more likely they'd be picking up trash for their 72 hours.

Having slept through his alarm - and therefore his first lecture of the day - Archie figured he should probably make an effort not to miss the second one, between cutting class and starting fights, Archie realised that this was a sure fire way to be kicked out; and that was the last thing he wanted. Throwing clothes on, Archie had come in last night and simply collapsed into bed, having woken up in a full suit Archie slipped into something far more casual for the day ahead. His favourite hoodie was a comfort for Archie who wasn't particularly feeling the best, his head was buzzing as Archie made a beeline for his bedside table, grabbing a pack of paracetamol and downing a few as quick as he could - Drinking is fun, hangovers are not.

Grabbing his backpack from the back of his door, Archie runs a hand through his hair. It was curtailing messy, but in the kind of way that it could have almost been styled to look that way. Plus, Archie really didn't care too much about his hair at this moment in time, and so simply shrugged at his appearance in the mirror which also hung on that same door, before shutting it closed behind him.

Juggling a throbbing head and a psychology lecture was possibly not the easiest thing, but Archie got through it with about a litre of water and a very false - yet very convincing - smile. Another perk to being a Beta was, that charm they are oh so famous for, and because of that, Archie found that he was able to win over one of his lecturers, Ms. Begum, rather easily.

Being a petite and rather round woman with thick rimmed glasses and bushy black hair, it was difficult for her to not feel flattered when a young, handsome man tells her that she look wonderful and that he always looks forward to her lectures. While last night may have not been a great way to show it, Archie typically was quite a chilled guy with a approachable aura and easygoing attitude. That attracted a lot of people to him.

Giving Ms. Begum her daily compliment, Archie finishes the lecture with a smile - this one far more genuine, but not for the best reasons; he was just happy that it was over. Not that he'd ever tell his Professor that. Exiting the lecture and heading out to the hallway, Archie sighs a little before grabbing his phone and sending one final text.

To: Ya Ya
I feel bad about last night. Can I get you a coffee to make up for it?
