Name: Decima (though she chooses to greet her mortal friends with the name Mrs. Livingston)

Sex: Not today, sonny Jim! Oh, you meant- Female (generally)

Abilities: First, foremost, most important, and least used, Decima can, if she so chooses, alter destinies. Even if she had made up her mind at one point in time, things are always subject to change. This is used sparingly, if at all.

And, due, to the nature of her existence, she can see all possible outcomes of an event. She usually turns it off on Earth, though, because that's a lot to process.

Finally, the fun stuff. Mrs Livingston knits. She also crochets, cross-stitches, and embroiders. Going with the sort of 'tapestry of fate blahblahblah' theme, she occasionally knits tiny stuff animals to do her bidding.

Certain people feel this is mildly disturbing.

The Fates: At her beck and call are three Fates or Parcae, who, like their Grecian counterparts, are in charge of spinning, choosing length, and snipping the threads of life. Decima oversees them, and between the Parcae are four eyes (one each) with one magical eye, capable of seeing problems with the way destiny is flowing wherever they may be.

(Fates names: Rho, spinner, Sigma, who allots, and Tau, the snipper)

Appearance:
Heaven: Okay, think back to Snow White. Remember how Step-Queenie made herself look all old and stuff? Kind of like that, only less of a hag. Decima is old and gnarled and has a tendency to carry around a funky looking walking stick. She wears dark, flowy kinds of clothes, because she feels like it.

Braesorn: Mrs Livingston is your typical wacky old lady. She has a tendency to wear lots of layers and clothes that don't match, has wiry hair that is in varying states of brushed, and tends to walk around with a giant carpet bag and three cats. She sometimes wears glasses but sometimes doesn't, depending on her mood.

The Fates: Though different in appearance, to the untrained eye look much the same. They're diminutive in stature as well as having an imp-like look to them, along with hands and feet with odd numbers of joints and eyes that look a little too large.

When on earth the Parcae take on the form of three cats, two with only one yellow eye, and then one with one blue eye and one yellow. The cat with depth perception varies.

Rho: Grey, long haired cat
Sigma: Siamese, short hair
Tau: Predominately white cat with black splotches, medium length hair

(Tau is her favorite)

Equipment: She carries a gnarled, twisted walking stick (which is reminiscent of her own appearance :p )as well as a pair of golden scissors that are good for stabbing unwanted visitors and also cutting the strings of fate and all that.

She also has a carpetbag of holding.

The Fates kind of count as equipment too, right?

Personality: She's really much more fun as Mrs Livingston. Her personality is much more like a wacky old lady.

Being in Heaven kind of throws off her groove, forcing her to actually do her job. As you can imagine, being in charge of everything going on at any one second in time is a little mind blowing, and she's really a lot scarier and like those freaky old ladies in fantasy movies things when there.

History: Fate has always been and always will be. :p
