What’s Behind the Smile: Most people that know Akira would call him carefree and happy go lucky. He loves to joke around and has a habit of talking to much when he gets on a roll. Most of the time Danny has to remind him to breath once he gets started. Akira is kind hearted and helpful, never thinking twice about lending a hand to a friend in need. Yes, most people would say he's perfectly happy. However, that's the outside that Akira portrays. In truth Akira is often lost in thought when left to his own devices. He struggles with who he is and who other want him to be and everyday is another depressing battle against prejudice. When big events happen he is the one everyone that surprises everyone by keeping a level head and often gives advice with wisdom beyond his years and has a habit of being philosophical at the right moments.
A Little Stroll Down Memory Lane: Akira was born on June 6, 1993 to Yosuke Yumei and Kanna Yumei. Yosuke and Kanna were very loving parents, but were dismayed when their son turned out to be not so normal. Akira was grew to be a very androgynous boy. People would often mistake him for a girl when they first saw him and to make things worse he ended up liking the visual kei style of dress. At first his parents were worried they had a case of Gender Identity Disorder on their hand, but in truth Akira was nothing of the kind. He just wanted to wear what he felt comfortable in and what he liked. Akira didn't care what other people thought of him and most of his friends didn't mind. That is until he moved to America with his parents when he was six. His father, a musical talent manager, took a job as the manager of an up and coming rock group in America. If learning to speak the language wasn't hard enough, people in his new found home weren't as accepting as his friends back in Japan.

Luckily Akira met Daniela, aka Danny, when his parents enrolled him in the same private school. For some unknown reason they became friends rather easily and have been ever since. Akira gets along with the rest of her friends well enough, but he doesn't feel he really knows how they think of him and this often leads to awkward silences when Danny isn't with him.

Astigmatism- Severe damage to the eyes. Akira is blind without his contacts or his glasses.
Things that make me special: Though one might not expect it, Akira is an exceptional fighter. Having learned to defend himself from a young age against the more aggressive opinionated people of the world, Akira began studying Judo and Ninjutsu at a young age. He is actually a certified Ninja (This is actually still possible though its not for assassination anymore lol) and is very acrobatic and flexible. He has also learned to use his senses enough that he can get around decently without his glasses or contacts, but still not as well as with them.

Don't you Dare Tell Them, But I...: I'm in love with Daniela. I have been for a long time, but.....she wouldn't ever want a boyfriend like me. Sure she's my friend, but what does she really think about me? I don't think I'd ever be able to confess to her. I don't want to lose what I have right now.
