The keeper of the wind stone
William is easy going and fun loving. He likes to make jokes to lighten difficult situations. Sometimes he makes light of his responsibility as the keeper of wind magic, which tends greatly annoy his parents. He's impulsive and he hardly ever turns down an opportunity to indulge in something that could be fun or exciting.
On the flip side if he's angered he can hold grudges for a long time. In an argument he has to have the last word, and he doesn't take well to being beaten, bested, or outdone in anyway.
Weapon: Heavy twin curved swords. The hilts are shaped to look like dragons whose wings form large hand guards.
The necklace containing the wind stone.
William is the second born son to John and Lisa Ventus. His older brother Charles was named the keeper of the windstone. William's parents spent all their time training Charles and giving him attention while William was left to more or less raise himself. William grew to resent his older brother and his parents but he dealt with it by convincing himself that he never wanted to be a magic knight or the protector of some silly stone. Charles was the oldest, the strongest, and most notable of the new generation of knights.
Charles Ventus recently died in an epic last stand against Obscurum's minions, and left William to fill his shoes. William's parents tried to push him to be like his brother was, but William, still mourning the lost of his brother, is not so excited about taking his place, and he still hasn't let go of his negative feelings towards his parents.
