Introduction

For centuries this world has been run by humans, and there came a time when the vampire race finally decided that they should no longer be in control. Working their way into the central government, they slowly gained power until very few humans had important enough positions to keep them from taking over. Over the course of a century, they changed the government into what they believed a better way. However, nothing can ever be perfect.
After a short time civil war broke out creating two factions within the vampire race, and their government was split into two central rulers and a council that was supposed to maintain balance between the two. For a time, that worked. However things have grown even tenser over the years. Finally, the council decided enough was enough. They had to stop this before another war broke out. So in an effort to try and make peace between the two factions they decided to group together some of the nobles from each faction so that they could finally settle things peacefully.
This is where you come in nobles and mediators alike. Your job is to attempt to represent your side, either non-mage or mage, and help regain one whole again. To do that, you will all be sent away to neutral grounds so that you can bond as a people and see that powers or not you still all have something to give.

Groups of nine from each faction, along with a handful of mediators are scheduled to arrive at a single location on neutral grounds. They will take the time for introductions and settling in, and then go through events. It is required that they must pair with the opposite sex of the opposite faction. Through this they should be able to learn that the only difference between the two is the obvious, magic.

The vampires are set to be placed in a mansion on several acres of land on a cliff, overlooking a beach. The first floor contains a foyer, a ballroom, a game room, a library, a kitchen, a breakfast nook, and meeting room. The second floor contains 18 bedrooms that all have their own bathroom within them. Girls are on the west side of the hall, while the guys take the east side. Mediators’ rooms are placed between the two. There are two assigned to a bedroom and mages and non-mages are not placed in the same room. Separated from the house is a garden, the beach, and smaller house for land workers.

The setting changes from Theo Silanus's Mansion to Riasha
He could see Desmond's vehicle coming in the distance amongst the others car. Even Theo needed to keep face, so he came down from the balcony he stood upon, landing on his feet and bracing his hand against the ground before standing straight again. There was one good thing about this, Desmond wasn't going to be staying to influence those attending. It may give him a chance to try sway them into his loyalty. But the mage vampires weren't going to be so easy to convince. He himself were not fond of them due to their advantage they carried over normal vampires.
"Welcome," Theo called out as the first to arrive stepped out of their vehicle. He faked a smile as he would likely end up doing quite a bit at this gathering.
Her green hues locked onto that of a tall man whom she assumed to be Theo, considering his clothing choice. It made him seem older, and if that wasn't the thing that told her it was the fact he was greeting the people whom arrived. It took a moment for herself to analyze him, in her biased eyes, but she automatically pegged him as some guy she'd rather not talk to. What she wanted and what actually happened however never really worked out for her. She wished sometimes things were just less complicated, so she wouldn't really have to bother with any of it all. After all, just things about herself were more complicating and she still had to have that worry in the back of her head. It was a question whether or not she'd be able to handle it in the first place without her little secret getting out.
Going to the back of the car, she grabbed her bag and guitar throwing them over her shoulder and headed to the mansion. Sucking up her thoughts about Theo, she approached him and with a disgruntled tone said," Where am I suppose to keep my stuff..." She did her best to keep her green eyes from making too much contact with his. He was just some loser non-mage of no interest and importance to her. The only thing she had to keep in mind was that she'd have to try and keep her mouth shut more then she really wanted to. Sucking on her fang for a second, she kept silent half listening to what he would say to her.

Kacela Esser had arrived early, but had spent the time before the meeting mostly wandering around and having random talks with people she came upon. That turned out mostly to be either maids or security guards who were trying their best to keep face while she tried to get them riled up. However, most of them were rather boring, just ignoring or glancing down at her chest. She had hoped to meet someone at least somewhat interesting while waiting, but that didn't seem to be the case. Luckily the other guests were arriving and she headed towards the stairs to see those coming in. She was dressed in heavy layers of clothing that were almost all a scarlet red. Though she wore layers, they were tightly compacted against her with a corset, belts, and other bands. Really, it seemed like something uncomfortable to wear.
Naturally the first one she saw come through those doors were Keria. Kacela raised a brow as she looked over the girl's way of dressing. Well she certainly doesn't dress much like a noble. She dresses like she probably has mental issues. Kacela thought to herself for a moment. She certainly wasn't trying to hide the fact that she was looking Keria who she imagined was either one that wanted all the attention or a crybaby.

Desmond parked the car, keeping his eye on his little niece. He noted that for a moment she spoke to Theo, but that didn't last too long at all. He gritted his teeth slightly as he walked up to the elder vampire with almost as much dismay as Keria. However, unlike Keria, he hide his feeling a bit better then her. Instead he greeted him with respect, but kept from that awkward handshake that neither of them wanted to do. The two of them were commonly known to butt heads within the council, due to their obvious difference in beliefs. The problem was, unlike the council, he couldn't really sit there and influence this younger generation. "It's a shame I won't be able to keep an eye on things as well...." he lied.
Heading up the way Theo informed her to go her eyes caught the sight of a red haired female, to which she dubbed as the bottle red. Perhaps it was because she dyed her hair so often that she could tell that her hair was dyed, but it was just an observation. It was funny, because her natural hair color was red and she had black hair at the time. She couldn't help but ponder if her natural hair was black, but wouldn't that be rather ironic. It was rather obvious that she stuck out in comparison to most of the people that were here, her outfit wasn't particular what they would call 'noble attire'. To anyone who paid much attention to the humans, she dressed almost like how they would dress if they were into a darker type of music. However, looking at her would probably be the most interaction this girl was going to see from her, unless she got in her face that was.

-Important People-
Hector and Cassandra Celticanos – These two were the first to attempt to regain peace between the two factions and were the former rulers of the magic faction. This was before they were murdered by an assassin, when their only daughter Keria was still fairly young. Many assume that their assassination was because it was not yet accepted the thought of trying to reform old bonds.
Desmond Celticanos – Hectors brother and Keria’s uncle, who is the current ruler of the mage lands. There weren’t many vampires that knew of his existence save for a few older vampires, that was until he took his brother’s place and became Keria’s guardian being as she was too young to be able to take over.
Theo Silanus – The current and long standing ruler of the non-mages. He's the oldest vampire currently living since the death of mage leaders Hector and Cassandra, to which fingers were quickly pointed to him, causing another short war between the two factions. Even though his age grants him some extra power, he can be matched by others, but it is his experiences over the millenniums that made him the leader and dangerous foe he is now. Unlike Desmond, his actions are more well-known.
Doven Veracruz – Doven is an infamous vampire amongst both vampire factions. He was a mage vampire of high nobility that was well known and even fought in the first civil war against non-mages, so it came as shock when he decided to wed a non-mage over a decade ago. Needless to say, many vampires were outraged by his decision and he found himself only supported Celticanos, up until their assassination that is. However, one day his fiance disappeared. Over time, it became more speculated that she had died rather than just vanished. Eventually Doven himself left his home and began traveling; only rarely coming back due to his disinterest in getting involved in the dispute.
-Common Knowledge-
The Wars – There have been two wars that had broken out since the rise of the two factions. Once when the two split, of which reasons were unknown, and the second was after the assassination of Hector and Cassandra. The reason for the second was it was believed that non-mage radicals had them assassinated for their attempt to try to rekindle old bonds.
Werewolves and their standing – Werewolves in the old days were the protectors and guard dogs of the vampires, and a clan would commonly pledge loyalty to a specific family. Today, you are more likely to find wolves for hire then a clan itself, despite them being pack animals. Generally they will pledge loyalty to whoever can pay for their services. However a few of the older families like the, Celticanos still have a clan to back them.
The Council – The Council was formed after the first war, to try to serve as a common ground between the two. They are made up of the two heads of the royal factions, and several other vampires. Currently there is a 3:1 ratio on the mage to non-mage. Generally, this gives the mage a bigger advantage within the laws of the lands.
Mages VS Non- Mages – Even though the council has a 3:1 ratio, in actuality there are a greater number of non-mages to mages in existence. Some say that the mages have a harder time giving birth to their children, however that is only speculation and not really based off and sort of study or merit. So for what the non-mage lacks in raw power they make up with in number. Another thing to keep in mind is that just because non-mages aren’t able to use magic doesn’t mean they don’t have natural born abilities. Generally, it’s only one or two, but in no way is that the same as being able to use magic. Two mage parents will give birth to a mage, two non-mage parents will give birth to a non-mage. A mage and a non- mage parent, dependent on the mother, will either give birth to a non-mage or a mage.
Vampires (as a whole) – The difference between the factions is already laid out, but there is many different interpretations on vampires themselves.
1. Vampires, unless you are a mutated Ash Vampire, are unable to walk in the sunlight.
2. Ash Vampires are extremely rare, unless it is passed down from an old family line. This is actually a natural mutation in their blood. However, after a few generations this ability is no longer passed on. One of the only other ways to become an ash vampire is to sleep with and transfer blood to another vampire. Those who are Ash vampires try to not make it known, because they have been hunted to try to gain this ability.
3. Vampires are not invulnerable; they can die though it would take much more to kill them. Forced into direct sunlight, having their heart ripped out, or having their brain severed from their body or destroyed.
4. There are two types of vampires Pureblood Vampires and Non-Pureblood Vampires. The difference one was born to two Pureblood Parents, the other has some human in their blood. Either they were created or had a human in their lineage. Currently, there are few Pureblood Families around.
