Theo Silanus's Story

Theo was waiting, watching as the lights of cars pulled in closer to his home. He was a bit agitated at the fact that council had not only decided on doing this gathering, but also that they had decided it would be done in his home. It was likely due to Desmond's swaying of the council members that it ended up 5 to 2 vote in favor of this. It wasn't surprising, unlike himself, Desmond knew how to influence people. That wasn't Theo's strong suit and he really depended on the loyalty of others at times. He was sure Desmond knew how much Theo had a disdain for this sort of thing. It also put Theo in an odd position of having to protect all that were attending, non-mage and mage alike. He had to call in some favors to get some mediators that would hopefully not be biased towards either side, but also keep everyone from trying to rip each others head off if they got an argument. Problem was, who was going to stop him if someone managed to anger him?

He could see Desmond's vehicle coming in the distance amongst the others car. Even Theo needed to keep face, so he came down from the balcony he stood upon, landing on his feet and bracing his hand against the ground before standing straight again. There was one good thing about this, Desmond wasn't going to be staying to influence those attending. It may give him a chance to try sway them into his loyalty. But the mage vampires weren't going to be so easy to convince. He himself were not fond of them due to their advantage they carried over normal vampires.

"Welcome," Theo called out as the first to arrive stepped out of their vehicle. He faked a smile as he would likely end up doing quite a bit at this gathering.

Theo watched as Keria approached him. So this is the daughter of theirs that has been kept out of public eye... He thought to himself. She looked mostly like her mother, but her hair didn't match either of her parents, probably dyed he assumed. Still, it wasn't hard to see the dismay about being here in the way she carried herself and the tone of her voice. Still, she would be an important one to speak to because of who her parents were. Then again, if he wanted to politically win this against Desmond, all of those arriving were important, "Through those doors," He said as he shifted and gestured towards the main door, "Upstairs to the left are the women's rooms," He finished. He didn't bother trying to hold a conversation with her as she was just one guest of more arriving. He didn't need her to get what he wanted.

Kacela Esser had arrived early, but had spent the time before the meeting mostly wandering around and having random talks with people she came upon. That turned out mostly to be either maids or security guards who were trying their best to keep face while she tried to get them riled up. However, most of them were rather boring, just ignoring or glancing down at her chest. She had hoped to meet someone at least somewhat interesting while waiting, but that didn't seem to be the case. Luckily the other guests were arriving and she headed towards the stairs to see those coming in. She was dressed in heavy layers of clothing that were almost all a scarlet red. Though she wore layers, they were tightly compacted against her with a corset, belts, and other bands. Really, it seemed like something uncomfortable to wear.

Naturally the first one she saw come through those doors were Keria. Kacela raised a brow as she looked over the girl's way of dressing. Well she certainly doesn't dress much like a noble. She dresses like she probably has mental issues. Kacela thought to herself for a moment. She certainly wasn't trying to hide the fact that she was looking Keria who she imagined was either one that wanted all the attention or a crybaby.
