"my mother is a earth bending master not just some old lady i swear some people lack respect now Kuzue please do calm down if she doesn't come with us she loses her free meal and i'm sure her stomach will teach her some manners."he said getting into his stance and building a wall between them saying"conserve your strength for my mother she knows how to bend lava that means she knows earth and fire bending."he hugged her hoping to calm her down he kissed her and kept walking.

Cheyenne didn't respond to it at all. She sat down by the river and took her bag. She got one fish out and ate it. She could perfectly take care of herself. She packed her stuff and followed the river stream upwards.

(I was gone... so I'm going back a little bit)

Lien tiptoed silently through the hedge maze in her family's extensive, beautiful garden. The sun was setting. She had sid to her family that she was going to bed early, and not to disturb her. She hoped they hadn't discovered that she'd left

Just as she thought this, she heard a rustle in a nearby hedge. Whipping around, Lien sighed with relief when she saw nothing there. She turned around, almost ot of the maze, and jumped at least two feet into the air, stifling a scream of surprise.

"What's the matter?" Her older brothers chorused deviously. They were the identical twins of the rather large family, Jin Yu and An Yu. They were performers, and sometimes put on shows for the royal family themselves sometimes. They usually simply incorporated firebending into gymnastics, but it was enough to rile up a crowd and fame amogst the nation. They always had a mischeivous look upon their faces though. One Lien was sure only she could see. Even though they were only two years older than her, 16, they acted like they were much older and superior.

She shuddered as they each slipped an arm around her shoulder and leaned into her face. "Not so tired after all, ah?" they whispered suspiciously. Lien obviously couldn't tell them where she'd been.

"I uh..." she stammered. They snickered malevolently. "I just went for a walk through the maze, that's all."

"Sure," Jin Yu hissed.

"Just a walk," chimed An Yu.

Lien shuddered again. "Yes. A walk."

They cackled diabolically. "So what were you doing in town?" they said simaltaneously.

She jumped. How had they known?

As though they read her mind, they replied. "We knew you'd sneak out," An Yu said. Jin Yu finished, "And fight that filthy earthbender."

Lien gasped and shook her head. "I didn't fight! I was helping the other firebender!"

The twins nodded knowingly. "Don't worry," Jin Yu said, slipping his arm away. "We won't tell," concluded An Yu, following his twin's lead. They cackled once more and walked back into the mansion.

Lien turned right around and found another way out of the maze. From there, she entered through a back door and sprinted to her room, hoping she hadn't been discovered by anyone else.

Saruwata had been walking around for a long time. "Send him on a trip to learn. psttt" He said in a mocking tone. He was tired and tried to get a grip on himself. Once he continued to walk he took a deep breath and started to walk again. "This better be worth it." Once again he let out a sigh and continued to walk a path that was unseen.

Lien crouched in the large branch overhanging a river. Her sleep had been fitful. That morning, she'd passed Jin Yu and An Yu in one of the ornate hallways. They had said nothing, but they snickered deviously and leered as she walked by. Lien all of a sudden didn't feel too safe in her own home. 

Despite her better judgement, Lien had gone out again. She was a nature person, and she'd already pretty much memorized the family's garden. So she decided to go exploring. Real exploring. Out-in-the-deep-woods-without-supervision exploring. It's not like she needed supervision anyway. She was fourteen. She could take care of herself. Unfortunately, her family didn't see things the same way. But she couldn't have any peace with bodyguards or older siblings watching her. Especially not those devilish twins. 

She sat down on the branch, her light weight not making it bend in the slightest. Lien created a small fireball and tossed it between her hands, careful not to let it become out of control. This was an exercise her tutor had shown her. She often did it when she was bored or alone. As the serene river flowed some feet below her, Lien began humming a soft, sweet melody her mother often sung at concerts. It had been used to lull her to sleep as a child, but she was still fond of it. 

Walking back in to her room Kuzue puts on her fire nation red concubines dress with a few modifications to make it easy for her to move. Pulling out her mothers water skins she fills them letting her power slip in to the water. I have something worth fighting for now, that and something to lose. she thinks waking out to the garden. Smiling at Zephen she turns to his mother. " I would like your blessing to marry your son." She says with a bow but her eyes never leaving the woman's

"i know i heard you two last night now come child lets begin."she said taking a stance waiting for Kuzue to make the first mover Zephen and his mother were defensive fighters using counter attacks to win Zephen watching from the side.

Closing her eyes Kuzue takes a water bending stance. Lifting her right hand she pulls all of the water in the air nearby ponds to her. In her left she curls her hand in to a fist now covered with flames. Swiftly jumping Kuze sends the flames directly at the woman mostly a a diversion. Her water was sneaking around the back so that this was completely surrounded. "So, when do think the wedding should be?" She asks with a smile trying to distract her further. " I was thinking summer."

"nice try you are a smart one child."she said smiling as she made a wall to block the fire and then kicked backwards making fire shoot at the water then she just tripped but if anyone was watching Zephen they would know why.

Re-gathering the water Kuzue forms a cacoon of ice around her future mother in law. " thank you I've worked hard to become so." bending the ice cocoon off the ground she says. " maybe a spring wedding, what do you think Zephen?"

"your doing great."he said as the ice melted his mother breathing blue fire yelling"i've never had so much of a challenge-i told you so." Zephen piped in blocking one of his mother's attacks on Kuzue.

Flicking the fire away from her Kuzue laughs. " one day you are going to tell me how the hell a earth bender, came by firebending." Ok let's try close combat. she thinks running and flipping over the woman. Hitting a few chi points she says " you should stop now, one more hit and you bending is gone for an entire day."

(most people non-war provoking are at Zephen's estate and yes you can make the fire nation's first attack of the war starting it.)

The lovebirds are getting officially hitched, Lien's sitting in a tree, Cheyenne's alone by a river, and Saruwata's walking in the woods-- and we jumped to the next day}

"very good you are proficient in your attacks but to much unnecessary movement but anyway you have done good but you have to answer one question."she said grinning" as for my flame his grandfather was a fire bender and his grandma was a earth bender by the way how did you get that dress?

Brodar was sitting in his chambers as the servant was giving him his daily information on Zephen and his little rebellion of theirs as brodar raged with anger." They have firebenders too,well that just won't do after all i am the fire Lord and this rebellion will be over when i have knowone in my way,and will not get in it". Brodar was anger and blew fire from his mouth while he made a Swirl of fire enflame his servant as Brodar was smiling.....Revenge

"at the concubine house I worked in." she says looking her in the eye. She wasn't ashamed of what she had to do. " I was a fire nation royal concubine."

"oh well then i'm surprised you didn't get rid of it now as for a date i say you pick a spring month were my arthritis isn't acting up and Zephen was helping quite often as was expected now get all cleaned up so we can celebrate."she was grinning Zephen walked up and asked"so when do you want to head south?"

Saruwata was walking and getting tired of it all. He noticed a small estate like area. He was walking when he passed through the front area just to see what was going one. "Well I wonder if these people are nice?" He asked himself. As he looked in he really hadn't noticed much there were a few people walking back and forth but that was about it. "Hmm I guess people are just kinda busy today or something." He waited to see if anyone was going to go up and talk to him.

" tomorrow," Kuzue says pushing her hair out of her eyes. " any later and well run in to a storm."she says " I'll be back." and walks out of the garden and up to her room.

Zephen went to his room grabbing a large chunk of pure gold and continued to mold it to the shape of Kuzue had this one showing her shooting fire in one direction and whipping water in the other he waited out in the garden holding it gently.

Lien once again snuck back into the mansion through the back door, not unlike how she'd done so the night before. On her way upstairs, she was instantly mobbed by her older sisters, Renai and Shira, both seventeen and eighteen respectively. 

"Where have you been?!?" Renai demanded. 

"Wha...?" Lien stammered, confused. 

Shira spoke. "Don't tell us you forgot! Jin Yu and An Yu are performing tonight!"

"For the Fire Lord!" Renai added. 

"Oh," Lien said simply. What a disappointment. She thought it was going to be important. 

"Yes! Now go get ready!"

"But you said it was tonight!"

They sighed, exasperated. "You're so naive, Lien!" exclaimed Shira. "Do you want to look like trash in front of the Fire Lord?!"

Knowing she couldn't do anything to help herself, Lien pushed past her sisters and into her room. She summoned a servant to draw her bath and pick out a decent gown to wear. As she got ready to bathe, Lien wondered why her family made such a big deal of everything. They went to Jin Yu and An Yu's performances all the time. It wasn't like tonight would be any different. For them, anyways. The crowds loved them. Oftentimes, girls would visit their estate, trying to catch the attention of the twins. They were all turned away. The twins' ego was big enough for the entire capital city. 

Lien bathed peacefully and walked back to her room to find her favorite gown laid out on the bed. It was long and sleeveless itself, but there were separate sleeves she could slide on to compliment the lovely dress. She put on a slip and stood before the full-length mirror. She began to brush her hair dry. Then, she put it up in a traditional bun, since it was too short for a ponytail. Lien put on a simple blouse and skirt to wear before it was time to leave. 

She pushed the gown aside and lay on her bed. She wouldn't lie to herself. Jin Yu and An Yu were good at what they did. They deserved their fame. But she couldn't help but wonder if the Zheng family's status had helped them... Just a bit. She shook her head and closed her eyes, stealing time for a nap before her sisters started bothering her again, as she knew they would. 

Changing Kuzue walks back through the gardens. Noticing a short man in earth kingdom wear she calls "Hello, is there something I can help you with?"

" My fire lord" a Agent asks" You will have a performance jin yu and an yu will perform and i think they will all appear there". " I will start the war that the avatar ended and my father Zuko was a scum before i blasted him into oblivion,i could have taken his place and watched all the other benders rise and waterbenders,they can't last a minute with me of course Agent talions". Brodar walked out of the room walking towards the peformance room waiting to start the new war of Legion.
