Introduction
Two years after Tigress left the Xavier Academy, things started to take a wrong turn. Jessie's grades starting slipping, her training sessions, and missions were sloppy. She almost got a few of her team mates severely injured because of simple mistakes. Professor X took Jessie aside on one of the Missions and while her team mates were away, and he talked with her about her current condition. Jessie seemed different… and it wasn't for the better. The professor thought it would be best if Jessie would take some time to blow off some steam since things had been tough on her and the rest of the team. And with the loss of Jean Grey, things had been difficult.
So, Jessie agreed, and with long good byes, Jessie left DC and headed for New York City, where she would be vacationing with the Avengers and her long time, er, friend, Tigress.
As for Tigress, things have been going decently. Nothing too interesting has been going on, although she does miss her friends in DC…
With Jessie’s sudden re-appearance after two years, what will happen? What new emotions may be sparked? Anger? Resentment? Or something worse?

It had been a long day, and Jessie was up for hours. She woke up and dressed in her usual attire, which was a white short sleeve tee shirt, her leather jacket, skinny jeans, and combat boots. She had woken up early, since the morning before she was told that she was given a leave of absence and to go on vacation to wherever she wanted, and as long as she would need and or want.
She decided that she would go to New York City and see the Avengers and her friend, Tigress. Since the last visit from Tigress went pretty smoothly and had only a few incedents, nothing major, Jessie figured that that's where she would go. So, with that set it mind she packed her things and said her good byes. The hardest part was saying good bye to Spyke, since he was the only boy friend that hadn't cheated on her or broke her heart. But she knew it would be best for her to go and calm down and see some people.
The other hardest part, was saying good bye to Kitty. They had been room mates for almost four years, and also very close friends. One of Jessie's closet and best friend to be exact. Not that she wasn't good at making friends, Kitty was just her constant companion, and the one she got along with the best. So with that, she gathered her things, and started up her motorcycle and rode off.
Jessie knew it would be a long drive, so she took her time, taking stops every now and then. By the time she actually did get to New York City, it was around 3:30pm. She looked at the tall buildings and saw some new ones that she didn't see before. As she remembered, New York had been in a fight only two years ago after that fight with Thor's brother, Loki. So, she shrugged it off and headed to her destination. She pulled up to the side walk and slid up her visor so she could see. She took a deep breath as she saw the Stark Industrie's Building, better known as the Avenger's H.Q.
It had been years since she was last here. Three to be exact if her memory served he correctly. She took off her helmet and fixed her hair. She got of her bike and put her back pack on, one strap of course and took three steps forward. She took a deep breath as she tried to calm her nerves. She didn't tell Tony or anyone that she was coming, and it would be a lot let complicated if she had. But, Jessie thought it would be better to explain in person, rather than over the phone.
As she walked to the door she heard a familiar voice call out in the back. And she turned around to see if she was right...and she was. It was Janet Van'dine, or better known as the Wasp. One of the new members of The Avengers, and Hank Pym's girl friend. She smiled as she saw one of her former friends and greeted her with a big smile, '' Wasp, it's great to see you!'' She said with a smile as she gave her a hug.Wasp smiled back and hugged her tightly and said, '' Oh Jessie! It's great to see you too! How have you been and what are you doing back here?''
Jess smiled and returned with, ''I'm doing well, yourself? And oh, I'm on vacation, just myself this time.'' She smiled and both of the girls walked into the building together, making easy small talk and informing each other about random, and non formal things.

“Tigress! I swear to God, if you don’t give that back you’re gonna get it!” Black Widow practically hollered at Tigress.
Well, let’s set the scene, shall we? Tigress, Tony, and Natasha were all together in the same room. Tigress, in her normal afternoon outfit of jean shorts and a purple tank top, had an iPhone with a black case on it in her mouth. Natasha, the owner of said iPhone, was staring daggers at the hybrid. Tony, who was partaking in none of this, stood in the kitchen doorway, sipping at the tea in his Iron Man mug. So pretty much a normal day in the Avengers tower.
Tigress took the phone out of her mouth so she could talk. “You promised!” She stood behind the couch, her tail lashing back and forth. Natasha was on the other side of the couch.
“I did no such thing!” Natasha ran forward and leapt nimbly over the piece of furniture. Tigress put the phone back in her mouth and darted to the side, and Natasha gave chase.
“Watch the lamp!” Tony shouted as Tigress bumped into a small table.
The sound of them romping around the room could be heard throughout the entire floor. Natasha was hot on Tigress’ heels. In one larger stride, she leapt on top of the cat girl, throwing her to the ground. With a yowl, Tigress hit the floor hard on her stomach. Natasha pinned her to the ground, her hands pressed against her shoulders. Natasha reached for her phone, but it was held between Tigress’ strong jaws. “Give it!”[/color]
Tigress shook her head and squirmed underneath Natasha, trying to throw her off.
The tiger girl stiffened suddenly, her ears twitching. Natasha sensed this sudden change in the girl’s attitude. [b]“What is it?” Her turned her head to stare at the elevator. It opened up and two people stepped out.
Tigress’ eyes widened, and in one swift motion, she threw Natasha off, dropped her phone, and leapt forward. “Jessie!” She practically tackled the taller girl in a hug. She gave her a back-breaking squeeze before suddenly letting her go and backing up. Her gaze hardened. “Where have you been all this time!? Why didn’t you come to visit sooner?! And stop growing!” Tigress pouted and crossed her arms. She was annoyed with the fact that he literally had to look up to talk to the girl.
“Good to see nothing has changed.” Wasp chuckled.

The first thing that Jessie heard when she walked out of the elevator was “Jessie!” And with that she was pushed against the wall, and hugged against her will. She tried to escape her attacker, but it was useless, she had a grip of steel. She looked at the girl and smiled as she saw who it was. Jessie sighed as Tigress let go and backed up, and she saw that Tigress' gaze hardened. “Where have you been all this time!? Why didn’t you come to visit sooner?! And stop growing!”
Jessie's eyes widened, she was practically being scolded like a child by her mother. She took a long breath and said, '' Well, if you honestly must know...I've been in DC. I would have come for a visit sooner, if I wasn't as busy and if we hadn't lost a team member...I'm certain you all have been informed? And me?! What about you?! You were the one who was always taller than me!'' She said with a smile as she walked past Tigress and sat on one of the couches.
“Good to see nothing has changed.” Wasp chuckled.
Jessie smirked at Wasp's comment, '' I guess so...'' she said softly in reply.
She took her gaze off of Wasp and over at Tony and said, ''I'm sorry about my sudden arrival, and not informing you ahead of time as I should have. But I had to take a leave of absence and get some things cleared up...mainly personal for me. But, I don't plan on staying here all to long, maybe a few weeks. But you'll barely notice I'm even here, if you'll have me that is'' She said with a small grin and looked over at Tigress and sighed to herself...how did she always manage to get herself into these kinds of situations she'll never know...
She just looked around and hoped it was alright for her to stay here for a few weeks...not too long. Just long enough that she could get things straightened out, and maybe even get her own place...or maybe something else...

Natasha shot a glare in Tigress’ direction. “You got slobber all over my phone.” She huffed.
“You’re lucky I didn’t snap it in half.” Tigress smirked, crossing her arms as Natasha left the room as well, cradling her gross phone.
Tigress paused for a second, as if taking in everything that just happened. It was almost as if something in her snapped, but not in a bad way. She smiled widely and hopped over to Jessie. “Jessssie!” She cried happily. Tigress practically leapt onto the couch, right next to her friend. She rested her head on Jessie’s shoulder and nuzzled against it, her ears flicking and twitching a top her head. “I missed you so much..” She purred.
((OOC: I think the perfect thing to do would be to have Jessie just begin to stroke her ears or something. X3))

Tigress tensed up as Jessie began to move her arm. She inhaled sharply as she felt firm fingers come in contact with her soft ear. “J-jessie…” Tigress whined breathlessly, her eyes squeezing shut. When Jessie didn’t let up, Tigress felt herself relax into her touch.
Tigress let out another soft whimper. She began to subconsciously shift towards Jessie, and before she knew it, she was literally in Jessie’s lap. She was practically straddling her, and no matter how much she resisted her own movements, she couldn’t stop herself. Her head immediately leaned forward, nestling itself into the crook of Jessie’s neck. Tigress was purring very loudly, her free ear twitching rapidly. She was practically like a kitten.
“I’m sorry to hear that…” Tigress muttered, a soft hum to her tone.

When Jessie was petting Tigress' ears she responded with, “J-jessie…” Jessie smirked, and kept petting the cat girl's ears. Not that she wanted to bring the girl to her knees...just that she was bored and since she had done that a lot to reward Tigress for good behavior back at the academy...so a newly developed reaction I suppose you could call it.
Jessie almost stopped but when she heard Tigress let out another soft whimper, she figured she would continue this for at least one more minute. She closed her eyes, and then jolted them open when she felt a body get on her lap. Her eyes were open wide and she tried to speak...but she couldn't. She was too embarresed and surprised to respond right away. A million things were swirling in her mind. She could #1 be mean and throw her off. #2 call for help and cause trouble. Or #3, kindly ask her to get off, Jessie opened her mouth to speak when she felt Tigress' nestled her head into the crook of Jessie’s neck.
Jessie's eyes grew even bigger if that's even physically possible. She could feel Tigress' ears twitching with delight, and saw her tail lashing back and forth. Jessie smirked and finally spoke up, ''Uh...um...uh...Stripes? Could you maybe...er...get off of me?'' She tried to sit up, but with the weight of Tigress tying her down...well, that wouldn't be possible. Jessie sighed and looked around.
But before Tigress would be able to even answer her, Jess's phone went off and throughout the whole floor, Black Widow by Iggy Azeala could be heard. Jessie scrambled to get her phone...and the one time she had to get it...it had to be in her front pocket of her jeans. And what's worse! Tigress was on the phone! So, with shaky hands Jessie dug her hand into her pocket and quickly retrieved her phone. It was still ringing, so she had time to answer it. She pressed answer and said, '' Oh, hey guys! What's up?'' She was out of breath and still slightly shaken up. And on the other line you could clearly hear, '' JESSIE!!! HEY!! Everyone wanted to see how it went and if you're all settled in!'' The people who called were Jessie's friends and team mates, and some new students she had befriended before she left.

And with that she ended the call and put her I-Phone back in her pocket.
She slowly turned back to Tigress, and took a deep breath. She walked over to her and said, ''I...uh... appologize for that...both parts. That'll NEVER happen again.'' She put extra emphasis on the 'never' to prove a point. She sighed to herself and looked around...trying to find something to change the subject, and the vibes.
Jess looked back at Tigress and said, after a long and awkward pause, ''Is there anything you wanted to do? Like, go out and enjoy the rest of the day light, see the rest of The Avengers since I haven't seen them in two years...or whatever you want to do? Or, did I interrupt something? I mean...if I did, I can get out of your hair and come back whenever you have the time...I'd hate to impose more than I already have.'' She blushed slightly and looked away, hoping that Tigress would answer soon.

She slowly turned back to Tigress, and took a deep breath. She walked over to her and said, ''I...uh... appologize for that...both parts. That'll NEVER happen again.'' She put extra emphasis on the 'never' to prove a point. She sighed to herself and looked around...trying to find something to change the subject, and the vibes.
Jess looked back at Tigress and said, after a long and awkward pause, ''Is there anything you wanted to do? Like, go out and enjoy the rest of the day light, see the rest of The Avengers since I haven't seen them in two years...or whatever you want to do? Or, did I interrupt something? I mean...if I did, I can get out of your hair and come back whenever you have the time...I'd hate to impose more than I already have.'' She blushed slightly and looked away, hoping that Tigress would answer soon.

Tigress hesitated and bit her bottom lip, looking away. “I-I would be ok with that happening again…” She spoke extremely softly; so much so that it was barely audible. She was still looking away, a bright blush on her face.

Jessie couldn't hear what she said, but she figured it wasn't important and shrug it off. She looked back at Tigress as she said,“Sure, we can do something. What would you like to do? We could take a walk, watch a movie, go grab something to eat… Its New York, so there’s always something to do. I’d say we could spar but I just had a pretty intense match with Widow. I can already feel my shoulders getting sore…” and she muttered the last part to herself...which Jessie could just barely make out.
She thought for a moment and had to make a decision...like...really? Whenever it came down to it, Tigress would always give options and let Jess choose as always. Not that she minded really, just still....Jess just didn't want to do something that would not be so favored by Tigress...but she asked. Jessie looked around and back at the clock on the wall. By now it was already 4:25pm, she was already there for almost an hour, 'How did that much time go by?!' she thought to herself.
She shrugged and said, '' Well, we could go for a walk...if you want...and maybe see a movie later? I dunno..it's been a rough day so, I'm not really sure. And that's okay...I had a long day, and sparring would be the last thing I would want to do...no offense.'' She gave a small smirk and looked around. It had been a while since she had been here...about two and a half years, right? Somewhere around there...Tony clearly added more.
She stretched and looked back at Tigress. She shyly said, '' So, we can go whenever you want...and I should probably change clothes before we go. My clothes aren't really all that good for walking around in the hot sun. They're fine for riding on a motorcycle...but not walking.'' She said with a smile, and her usual laugh...and her Jersey accent was a bit milder...just only noticeable when she said certain things.
