BACK STORY: (You Don't Have To Read It)

When the world first began, the humans and humanoids did not exist, only the powerful and graceful animals roamed the globe. And as the cat, the dog, and the mouse all are now, they were the same way back then. The cat ate the mouse and the dog chased the cat.

One day, the Gaia (Mother Earth) found this feud to be causing quite the problem to the other animals, because their fighting would mostly take place at night. She went down to her greatest creation, Earth, in the form of a human. The creatures had never seen such a creature before and knew that it had to be Gaia. They all bowed and praised their great Mother who had so graciously given them life. But when Gaia made her way to the cat, the dog, and the mouse, they were too busy to notice her and give her thanks. Gaia grew angry at how easily her creations could forget who had given them life. So she put a spell on them, turning them into into humanoids.

She turned the cat into a vampire, the dog into a werewolf, and the mouse into a simple human. The cat, the dog, and the mouse were not happy with their new forms, for they became tired more easily and could not harm one another as easily or quickly. They grew to hate Gaia and she grew sad. She began to feel guilt for doing such a thing to them, yet she still refused to turn them back into what they once were.

Gaia found that they must be lonely, for no animals would become their companion anymore, thus she created more humanoids. Many centuries and decades passed, yet the rivalry between werewolves and vampires just got worse. Vampires still craved to eat (drink the blood) of humans, but found it hard to for fear of being found out by other humans. Many have forgotten this story and the ones who know it see it as just a twisted bed-time story to tell your children at night.

PLOT:

Legend says that one day the three will meet again in The Dark Woods, the place were Gaia made her first and only trip to the planet and where she made the first humanoids from the bickering animals. It says that when they meet in The Dark Woods, they will be trapped there until they can all accept each other as equals. Only then will they be able to leave the woods.

And that day, is today, they have finally all happened to step into The Dark Woods at the same time as one another, sealing their fates inside this barrier of trees that surrounds them.

Will they be trapped forever in these woods, or will they be able to come together and get out of this alive?

Human: He is obviously not the original Mouse, but he is related to the first human, though he does not know of this, he sees the story as just a Legend that couldn't possibly be real.

Female Vampire: She is the assistant to the male vampire and was traveling with him when they became locked in The Dark Woods, she knows about the story but just believes that the Male Vampire is crazy because he says he was the first vampire ever created.

Male Vampire: The cat, he was the very first vampire.

Male Werewolf: The dog, he was the very first werewolf.
