Babylon City. Created from the hubris of men, it was thought once to be the city of the future. For a while, everything seemed to be moving along perfectly. It all changed when that tower appeared. Arcem, a massive skyscraper centered perfectly in the middle of the city. In one year the building was made, though no construction was ever seen. It was always done at night, and the machinery seemed completely abandoned the following morning, only to be heard again when the sun fell. That was three years ago, and in all that time no one has entered that building. No one knows who owns it, who is inside it, all windows are blacked out. All anyone sees when approaching its doors is a space of darkness, where light is unable to reach. With the completion of Arcem, Babylon City saw an increase in crime, gang activity, and all things that the city was created to be free of. Eventually it fell into three levels, Lazarus, Eden and Cruix. Eden is two miles in every direction from Arcem. It is where those with any wealth to their name reside. Those who live in Eden go about their daily lives with complacence, ignoring the corruption and chaos all around them. Lazarus is everywhere from the two mile line to the edge of the city limits. While not exactly a paradise, it supports most of the cities population. The crime rate is high, but it is also where there is the most police presence. Finally there is Cruix. During the foundation days of Babylon City, a massive mall and entertainment area was built underground. The original intent was for both space and accessibility for all those in the city. However, there is a reason most entrances to this place is boarded up, SR. SR, or Satan’s Rejects, was a gang that appeared a month after Arcem was completed. With no known motive to speak of, they took Cruix and gave it its current name. Now the residents of this area are mainly the poor and idiots with nothing better to do then terrorize the city above. Within SR are the Three Eunuchs. While their namesake paints an ugly picture, the name was apparently given due to the three having separated themselves from their own souls. No morals, no values, just violent, sadistic and dangerous. They reside in the lowest level of Cruix and lead the SR against any who oppose them.

There will be a supernatural element to this roleplay to give it something extra. Characters will be able to perform feats that are, in reality, impossible such as throwing a telephone pole or moving faster than the eye. SR are just the biggest gang in the city, as you can create one and play all members in it. Or, you can be a cop, reporter, whatever you want there are no limits in Babylon City.

Babylon Cities actual geographical location will not be specified. The climate is hot and arid, although the surrounding area is characterized as being heavily wooded. A major river runs through the city, which has an extensive waterfront. Usually twice a year, a major downpour comes, and the city gets heavy snowfall in the winter. Babylon City has a surreal, Pan-American feel. Mountain ranges are just beyond the trees.
