(( Okay, people, first post. I'm gonna try and make it intriguing. This takes place on the first day of school, got it? Good. :D * Deep breath* Okay. Here we go))

Christina Tucker was lost. And not the itsy-bitsy, Oh, I can't find the bathroom kind of lost, no, this was the, Stuck in the maze and it's dark and there are weird shadows kind of lost. It was almost 9:30, and Christina could not find her dorm room. She knew it was on the 2nd floor, by the girls bathrooms, but after she turned left, where did she go? Finally, after almost an hour, she located the tiny blue sign that was supposed to " distinguish" her room from the rest of them. Even though this was her 3rd year at Amelia's, she still had trouble locating her room, because it was different every year. Her roommate hadn't arrived yet, which Christina though was odd, but maybe there was just bad traffic or something. Amelia's was located in the middle of no where, but many people attended every year, and the roads always grew busy around 10 on the first night. Christina walked forward, and was almost to the door when she stubbed her toe on something and fell to the ground.
" Damn it!" She cried, clutching her throbbing toe to her chest. She stood up, dusted off her red silk blouse, and hobbled the rest of the way to her room. " Whoa..." She breathed. This year, she didn't have the tiny room. This one was huge. 2 queen beds were set on either side of the room, and she chose the one against the right wall. Her bags had been brought in earlier, and they sat in a neat little pile in the middle of the room. A large desk was set on either side of the room, with a blue cup for pencils and a lap top with the words, "Amelia's" etched on the top in gold. Last year Amelia's didn't have laptops, so Christina was over joyed by this. She started to make up her bed with the blue satin blankets she had brought with her. Every summer she lived at her aunt's in Mexico, but her aunt was so old and frail that she was not allowed to stay there year round. After fluffing her pillows and laying them against the head board, she started to unload the millions of stuffed animals her mother had collected when she was a kid. They reminded Christina of her, and so she kept them with her. She would probably be in collage and still have Mr. Fluffles sleeping on her bed. Her roommate had yet to arrive, so she decided to change, so it would be less awkward later. She tugged her shirt over her head and slipped out of her skinny jeans, and stood there in her undershirt and shorts, trying to decide what to change into. She grabbed a black night gown out of her open suitcase and pulled this over her head of long, shiny brown hair. Then she went to find the bathroom.

Rose sighed in frustration as she was stuck in another four way turn. Looking back at her map she had no idea where she was on it. Did she even make it into the girl's dorm? For all she knew it could be the guys. Their were plenty of doors but she had no idea where they led to. Why did they have to give new dorms every year anyways? She liked her old one, the person she shared it with was hardly ever there (Excessive partier) and whenever she was the girl avoided Rose due to the fact that the girl had also been a goody-two-shoes who didn't like to get her hands dirty.

Studying the map more closely she saw only about ten-thousand four way splits. Maybe she could just retrace her-
She had no idea which way she had came from. Well this sucked. Looking around she spun a few times and stopped opening her eyes and opened them to face a wall. "Whatever," she said exasperated and just took the hall left of the wall. Maybe she would get lucky and this would actually be the right way.

Christina spun around in a full circle. She had heard a voice coming towards her, and she waited, holding her breath. A girl came around the bend, and she let out her breath in one long woosh! The girl was pretty, and she was holding a map in her hands. " Looking for the girls dorm?" Christina asked the girl, who looked frustrated.
Maybe this was her roommate!

Raina was annoyed. It was almost midnight, for pete's sake, and though she hated to admit it, she was scared of the dark. Back home she had shared a room with her brother, who was now in college, so she was used to the sound of breathing next to her, the occasional snore. The room was silent. Of course, that might have had something to do with the fact that her roommate was not there, she hadn't bothered to read the name posted on the door underneath hers, so she had no idea who it could be. A thin slit of moon light washed in from the window, sneaking past the heavy black curtains. Then she heard the tapping. Great. Now not only was she annoyed, but she was also freaked out. A lot. She dove under her cover, breathing in the scent of her brother's after shave. Her mother- who was currently traveling in Malaysia or Siberia or some other weird place- had let Raina take whatever she wanted out of the large house, so she had grabbed her brothers thick comforter, and the sheets that he had had since he was 5 years old. Raina let out a sigh, thinking that whatever he was doing right then, at least he probably felt safe. She heaved another sigh and stuck her head out of the covers, taking a breath of fresh air. She was shivering with fright because the tapping was still going on, and she was thinking of how every horror movie she had ever seen started like that. A girl, alone in her pitch black room, screaming as the monster tore open her chest and ripped out her heart... She shuddered, trying to think happy thoughts. Come on, roommate, where are you? She thought to herself. She knew that she had one, every girl in the girls dorm did. Now she turned her thoughts to the boys dorm, and wondered if it was bigger then the girls, if the location was better. She started to drift off, but was jarred awake by footsteps coming down the hall, and voices.

Suki finally came to the school, in the afternoon, it was his second year here and he could not wait to get out of there. He sighed as he walked towards the boys dorms walking past the girls dorms, seeing their lights were still on,"Aw, they are afraid of the dark, so cute." Not! He laughed to himself and smiled as he walked into the boys dorm, he scoffed as he had gotten a new room. What they didn't like him in his old room, so what he had skeletons on his desk and scary poster of death and other things of gore on his wall, he thought that he was okay. He was in trouble a couple of times for bringing a knife on a teacher for getting on his damn nerves but he thought he was voicing his opinion by stabbing the bitch in the arm. He laughed as he remembered how her face looked terrified while holding her damaged arm, well she shouldn't of kept complained about the dress code, who cares! He walked into his dorm and was glad his roommate wasn't there yet, it could give himself time to sleep.

Raina sighed. She was still a bit frightened, but the tapping had stopped. She slid her feet out of bed and padded down the hall, noticing that the voices had died down.
" Might as well just try and go to sleep." But even as she said it she knew it was impossible. No dorm mate, no sleep. For now, she reminded herself, and kept walking. She came to a stop at a black door. Raina blinked, pushing her black hair out of her eyes, thinking that she was dreaming. Sleepwalking or something. But no. Even when she pinched herself, the door was still there. She knocked 3 times.

Finally he was going to sleep, he sighed in relief as his eyes closed. But, he couldn't sleep, since someone knocked on the door,"Who is this now?" He said to himself as he slowly got up out of bed and slowly walked towards the door. Opening it up, it wasn't a boy, but a girl, thinking she was lost,"Um, I think your lost, the girl dorms are over there sweetie." He peeked his head out and pointed towards the girl dorms,"So go along, before you get in trouble." Not like he cared, because, everyone always getting in trouble over here anyways.

Raina looked up, startled. " Oh, I'm not lost." She shook her head of long black hair out, her pale skin flashing in the dim light, " At least, I don't think I am. I was just wondering how you got your door black with out getting in trouble. I wanted to do that back at home, but noooooo. So, here I am. Shipped off to this hell-hole until after collage." She smiled at him.

While Raina waited for his reply, she tried to sneak a peak into his room. " Wow..." She breathed out. It was completely black. Her dream. Posters of horror movies were plastered on his wall. A human skull sat on his bedside table, and other gruesome gory items lined his side of the room.

Thomas walked into the boys dorm house. Walked to his dorm room
and settled down for a bit. " You see Thomas was expelled from Five different
Schools and this was supposed to be his big Break. Inside his luggage he got out a hershey
Candy bar and chewed on its core. " I wonder who my roommate is, " . He
Waited.

With a quiet yawn, the dark haired girl, Alice, wandered down the halls, her unusual topaz shaded eyes scanning the corridor for the door that labeled her dorm room. She pushed a strand of thick hair from her eyes and barely made any noise when she walked down the hall. First day, and she was amazed she wasn't lost yet. The quiet, mysterious girl found her room number that was also printed on her map, and schedule. Looking from the papers, to the door she nodded and used her key, which fit perfectly, to click open the door. It slowly swung open and revealed two beds and two desks. It was quite large, larger than what she had back home, and she liked it. Although Alice knew she had to share the room with someone, she still hoped it wasn't some snobby brat.

She flicked the light switch on to look at the kind of bland room. Could use some touch ups. She just brought a few things in case some situation like this came along. Some music posters, a couple of pictures in frames... She tossed her duffel bag of stuff onto the bed closest to the window that led outside. You never know, she might just want to get some fresh air every now and then after curfew... if there is one that is. Alice sighed and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind her, and down the hall, just exploring, taking a look around. The muffled footsteps of her all black Vans were the only sound emanating where she was at. She heard some voices talking, and she quietly walked past a room where the girls and boys dorms intersected. She spotted some girl and guy talking and looked at them briefly, but then continued to walk down the hall, her hands in her denim shorts. SHe also had on a white tank top. Her nails were painted a rich topaz shade, that just fit her all together, her eyes and everything.

Obviously the guy.... Raina read the page on the door... Suki was not in the mood for talking. She turned around, and stalked out of the hallway and into her room.

Christina returned to her room. The girl had ignored her, so Christina had muttered, " Fine," and walked back down the hallway. She was surprised to find another girl in there, hanging up posters and getting situated. " Hi. " She entered the room, jumping back on her bed. She could use the bathroom later, she wanted to meet her roommate. " I'm Christina Tucker, nice to meet you." She held out her hand to the girl, studying her. She was pretty, with dark, thick hair and topaz eyes.

Thomas walked inside a room with a boy who was settling down and walked
over to him " hey man i'm your roommate ". Putting down his luggage thomas set up his things and two men brought in his flat screen tv..
thanks. He paid them and sat down. " So this your first year . ''

"Well, actually, I did get in trouble for it, but they couldn't remove the paint or the door so...yea.." Suki looked a little puzzled as she suddenly just walked away,"Okay.." Then he shrugged and walked back to his bed and lied down back on his bed,"She talked to much." He mumbled as he closed his eye, finally drifting of to sleep. Well, he didn't make it to 30 seconds, someone came bursting in saying he was his roommate,"No, actually my second year. Is this your first year." Marking him as he sat up in his bed, that was covered in black covers, no color at all to it. "Whoa, whoa. What is this home extreme make over?" He said as he looked at the flat screen t.v.

Raina turned around at the last second. " Oh. Well.... It's cool. I guess." Then she walked into her room and shut the white door behind her.

Christina shrugged and pulled the covers over her head. " You must be Alice." Christina said, turning her back so she was facing Alice. " I saw your name next to mine on the dorm door sheet. Guess we will be rooming together. At least for this year."

The girl had come out of one of the rooms and asked her a question so this must be the girls dorms. She looked at the names on the door and the color then back at the map, realizing that she had actually passed the room. "Crap..." She said to herself and hurried to the room. When she got to the room she actually smiled a bit to see her name in red, which was one of her favorite colors. Opening the door she looked around and saw a girl in there. So everyone had anaged to find their rooms before she did. Well that was just splendid. Loking around she was actually slightly impressed with how the place looked, but she didn't show it. Last year her room had probably been half the size and the comforter had been made of some sort of uncomfortable fabric.

Throwing the map in the nearest waste bin she plopped down on one of the beds and said to the girl, "Which one is yours?" Hopefully this girl wasn't some sort of person who invited lots of people into their dorm, because if so she would have to hide her stuff, and their weren't very many good places to hide lots of things, like unwanted skirts for example.

Thomas looked at him. "Well, this place has to deck out ''. Thomas brings in large Duffy black bag. " This room is awesome now. " AS thomas patts his two pillows ." Well, I'll be back dude. Thomas walks down the hallway. P

Raina glanced at the girl who had entered the room. " Ah, you must be... Rosalina, right? My name is Raina Potter, you can call my Ray or Raina." She went back to the book she was reading, satisfied with her introduction. " Oh, and uh, this one is mine, you can have that one or we can switch, what ever," Raina added.
