Baathomorn has two major missions in life: They wish to eat, and they wish to grow. They spread their seeds to all corners of the universe in the hopes that one will take to the ground and flourish, beginning in the small and working its way up until it grows to ridiculous proportions. Unfortunately they can be quite clever about it, being a creature of infinite patience, and the seed may lay in the ground for years before it sees its chance to strike. Similarly their avatars are rarely discovered until they have reached such a size as to be a threat.
