Damien Gabriel Faolan

"You'll want to think carefully, in case you say something stupid..."

0 · 488 views · located in Rose City & Moon Forest

a character in “Bitten”, originally authored by Jeggy, as played by RolePlayGateway

Description

Full Name: Damien Gabriel Faolan
Image

Nickname:
“Just call me Damien.”
Goes by Damien; he doesn’t think it’s relevant to even tell people his middle name, so not many may know it.

Age:
“Old enough to do what I want.” 20 years old

Gender:
*smirk* “You like it?” Male. Definitely male.

Role: Josh Hutcherson, Pack Delta

Image

Appearance:
*poker face* “I’m sexy and I know it.”
Damien is tall enough to be intimidating when necessary at 5’11’’, but when he pulls himself up he can seem taller. This might be caused by his hair, unruly and scruffy no matter how you try to tame it. Brown-black, it frames a slightly tanned face that draws you to his smooth brown eyes, unwavering and calm like his expression. His body is lean and well-muscled with angular features, always noticeable by the way he stands and moves. He usually seems to have a hardness about him, as if you get too close he'll scrape you like sandpaper. Almost ironic, because one thing that entertains him is seeing how far he can push people's buttons and get his packmates' fur on end for a small laugh once in a while.
His usually close-fitting clothing also shows off his easy stance and fluid movements. No rustling for when he needs to slip about soundlessly - something he prides himself on. This usually includes a tee-shirt and jeans or shorts, and sneakers if not already barefoot.

In his wolf form, Damien is large and powerful, muscles rippling under a sleek dark-brown pelt - that is, when it's not coated in a layer of mud, making it slightly more grey.

Image

Personality:
*blinks* “...Hey.”
Damien has possibly one of the best poker faces. Ever. It’s hard for others to read his emotions when he chooses so, and he knows it. Even to his pack, he knows how to keep his own thoughts under control along with his tongue; He only speaks when he deems it important, but if you look closely enough - even with a straight face - body language will give everything away. His control is quite a bonus when it comes to keeping calm in a sketchy situation or expressing (or lack thereof) his incredibly dry humor. If he relaxes around you, he does have enough social skills to be a fun guy to hang out with, with his easy-going nature and always energetic and up for an adventure.
But cross him, and you’ll wish you had never even thought to; He’s pro at holding a grudge and getting even. This especially goes for Vampires and humans. Need I even mention the Cacciatori? Hatred for them should go without saying. Around them he becomes more protective of his family and pack.
He's responsible, and organized enough to say he knows where everything is.

Species:
“Watch it, I bite.”
Werewolf, giving him honed senses in either form. He also has a high tolerance of pain, making it easier to shift from wolf to human, and vice versa.

Image

Likes:
- His pack.
- Food-wise, he has the biggest sweet tooth; Candy, milk chocolate, and fruit is practically his diet (and of course, meat as well).
- Reading; anything that he can get his hands on.
- Taking walks deep in the woods.
- Music, all of it.
- The sky.
- Outside, rain or shine. And getting messy in it.
- Aggravating people to see their reactions. Usually only does this when in a bad mood, or to people he dislikes.
Dislikes:
- Hates the Cacciatori, and is unsure what he thinks about their pack joining with the Coven. They make him a bit uneasy, but he knows that they need each other to be safer.
- Bitter food.
- Arrogant people.
- Impatient people.
- Weapons. They're like cheating.

Fears:

- Being caught by the Cacciatori. Is slightly intimidated by the vampires(but won’t admit it).
- Being left alone, packless.
- Weakness, being caught helpless.
- His emotions getting the better of him/anyone pulling off his poker face.
- Somehow becoming leader and gaining immortality.

Theme Song(s): {Working on! Haha, as a joke - Poker Face by Lady Gaga}

Pasta and chocolate! (But not together O.o) And milk doesn’t count as ‘food’, but yeah. Got Milk?!

So begins...

Getting up early, having a nightmare Natahila woke up in a panic. She jumps up from her bed and felt herself start to huff and puff.Again?! God,how long until he gets out of my mind! She exhaled and just felt a tear go down her face, sometimes she wished she could go to someone other than her brother but she didn;t want to be judge and if that meant keeping that little secert from her entire family then so be it. Knowing she wouldn't be able to get back to sleep, she got out of bed and walked to her sliding closet. She grabbed an outfit out that she set out the previous night, she liked being prepared. she slipped off her pajamas and slipped on her new outfit.

She looked in the mirror and shrugged, she didn't care much about what other thought of her unlike most people she didn't know nor did she care. She undid the high ponytail that was holding back her scarlett hair and let it flow down, cupping her tan olive skin. Everything looked perfect,it just need one thing that she never left her room without. Her golden locket, which was set on her black wooden nightstand. Putting around her neck, she clear her throat.

She exhaled before sneaking out her room, not wanting to wake un her fellow pack members. They could be sweet when they wanted to be but it's like waking up a bear, they will chew you up and spit you out at a snap of your fingers. She snuck downstairs and grabbed her favorite hat from the island, right where she left it last night. She was tired and being so quiet made it feel kind of creepy but,for some reason she loved the silence. She grabbed a apple jacks cereal bar and sat on the island they had in the middle of the kitchen. Not long after she heard Emmanuel, saying he had something to tell them.

She rasied a chestnut colored eyebrow before walking into their family room and sitting in a chair a little farther away from the others except for one, where her brother sat. She pulled her pulld her bare feet in the chair with her tilting her head side to side, something she did often when she was bored. "What could be so important anyway,I mean it's not like the vampire are coming to kill us or something." She chuckled at the thought. Vampires and werewolfs killing each other....guess it's better than us being stuck with them. Right? Boy was she in for a shock.

OCC:Sorry,I know it sucks but I have a party to go to. Hasta La Bye Bye. :P I probably won't be back until later today.

Emmanuel Cross

Emmanuel woke up on the day that changed everything he believed in and cared about every day.He went straight to his closet and picked out the clothes he was gonna wear. Now he was ready to tell everyone in his pack something that woundn't please some of them, but he headed downstairs as everyone was sleep he left the cave and started to run in the woods. He was running at a fast pace as his sprint finally ended and he jumped in the air in short notice to turn into a giant wolf about the size or bigger than a truck. As he ran through the woods he could see the sun set in the sky as his patrol ended now he turned in the other direction and went back to the house as he stopped for some water nearby.

As Emmanuel stopped by the clear blue water,he turned his head to see a deer-he was still in wolf form but his eye had it's attention on the deer for a moment. He stepped back for a moment and growled as if he were a dog.He leaped forward as the deer leaded him towards a small pond in the woods."Now,how can I find a small little deer in the middle of nowhere. He leaped over a small branch and caught a small glimpse of what he would call "Prey".He sprinted towards it as he finally caught it and ate for that would be his breakfast for the day.

"They were all downstairs".

Emmanuel opened his door to see everyone in the large living room all sitting down.Emmanuel picked up his remote and turned on the TV."Today people,in the small town of rose we found a decapitated body lying in the middle of the street with blood wounds and foul marks,we will report back later around the evening".Emmanuel turned off the TV and looked back at the pack for a moment.
(EDIT)
"Guys,I think it's time i told you of what my final plans for today were,if you all will just help me out for god's sake why won't you".Emmanuel breathed in and out as he remembered the exact words."We all have our duties for the day don't we,remember everyone patrols together or alone,if you don't won't that to happen to youBut hey, they can't touch anyone in our pack unless i allow them to which won't happen,You guys are my pack".

Kamilia

If looking at Kamilia Rose you would think she was having a dream about sunshine and lolly pops but her dreams are disturbed and a bit crazy. She just lays there though, still, completely clam. Rose is like that she is clam at the most insane of times.

Rose is standing in a room alone the room has no door or windows, it is light but there is no light source. It is completely silent; the only sound is her breathing. She holds her breath to make the room completely quite but then her heart beat was too loud. She lets out her breath and starts to breathe again, her heart beats fades and her breath grows louder. She stands completely still and just listens to herself being to noisy. The noise grows loud and loud until it sounds like screeching. Rose sinks to her knees and prays for it to stop. It only gets louder and louder. Then all the noise quits even her heart beat and breath, she can’t breathe at all. The next thing she knows she is on the floor passed out. A bright light seeps into the room from the cracks in the wall that just appeared. As soon as the light comes in it is gone, the disappears like a candle being blow out, then it pitch dark. Rose blinks several times hoping that her eyes will adjust to the dark but they don’t. She stands there not moving just staring straight ahead, she can’t even see her hand if it is held up to her face. Then someone yanks her hair and pulls her to the ground. She reaches back but can’t feel anyone.

Rose woke up from her dream just as the hand was pulling her to the ground. She was in the same spot she was in when she went to sleep. She sighed, she was glad she wasn’t one of those people that roll around and scream when they have a bad dream, which would be embarrassing. She felt the back of her hair and made sure it was okay, it was like she has it before she went to bed, in a messy bun. It’s just a dream, Rose told herself and she pushed the covers off herself and got out of bed. She kissed her little stuffed puppy which she knew she shouldn’t have because she is too old but she doesn’t care.

She considered going in the bathroom to make sure she looks okay before she goes down stairs but she doesn’t care enough about how she looks. Rose does look down at her outfit though. She is wearing a light blue and white plaid pajama shorts and a ‘born to party’ tank top. She also had on bunny slippers which she put on before leaving her room. She realized she wasn’t the most beautiful person ever but guys don’t seem to mind her. She smirked a bit that that though, guys don’t seem to mind her. She liked guys but never had relationships they are overrated and stupid. There really stupid when the only guys that ever hit on you are humans and werewolf and humans are exactly a good match saying most guys don’t like BIG werewolf girl, not that she cared she isn’t looking for anything serious right now.

When she got down stairs she mumbled, “Hi,” to everyone that was down there then when the kitchen to get a glass water. Once she drank the whole glass of water in about 5 seconds she put it on the counter mumbled, “Bye,’ then walked back up the steps to her room. She picked out the clothes she wanted to wear than walked to the bathroom to change.

She put on a black spaghetti strap tank top and then put a 1 inch blue tank top one which had the S superman sign on it, she put on the superman S sigh necklace on too. She also put on a pair of skinny jeans that are ripped in some places, they are her favorite. She put on a pair of brown sandals and a brown jacket on too. She took out the pony holder that kept her hair up and let it fall down past her shoulders, she didn’t bother brushing it up she pushed it over so it has a deep side part. She looked at her make-up that she had put on last night, there was still a ton of it still on but it was a bit smeared she didn’t even bother fixing it but she did put on some lip gloss. She picked up the pink perfume that she has used about twice and had for about a year, she sprayed some on her wrists; one wrist has a tattoo that says fearless with a heart. She smelt it then tried to wash it off it she could still smell it, one of the many joys of being a werewolf, everything is so smelly. She looked over at the rest of the counter which was cluttered with stuff, she picked up her wolf bracelet and slipped it on the wrist with the fearless tattoo. She also picked up a pair of werewolf earring which she thought looked funny so she decided to buy, she didn’t put them on but she did put them in her pocket. Without looking at herself again in the mirror walked down stairs.

She just sat there for a while picking off the red nail polish she put on 3 days ago, she hated it but couldn’t find any remover anywhere in the house. She made a mental note to ask around to see if anyone had some. If not she would have to get some. By now her whole thumb was nail polish less and she was working on her pointer finger. She chipped off the bottom fist than worker her way up, before she knew it her pointer finger didn’t have any finger nail polish on it either.

Once she got bored of picking nail polish off her fingers she started making popping sounds with her tongue. While she was making popping sounds she started to tap her foot. Then she started to snap her fingers slightly. She did that for a while but then some people hushed her so she shut up. She must have been annoying and if someone else was annoying she would have been pissed too so she just shut up and quit.

After what seemed like ages Emmanuel walked it. She sat up a bit straighter hoping her would having exciting news about all the dangerous plans, well actually nothing dangerous was going on right now but every day she hoped there would be. The werewolf pack was pretty boring and she was more of the always want excitement type of girl so she got bored here a lot.

"We all have our duties for the day don't we; remember everyone patrols together or alone, if you don't won't that to happen to you. But hey, they can't touch anyone in our pack unless I allow them to which won't happen, you guys are my pack,” Emmanuel said. Rose rolled her eyes and said, “BOR-RING! Can’t we like kick vampire ass or do something wrong to people we dislike?” She looked around at everyone else and said, “Who agree? Wouldn’t that be fun?” She knew that everyone would either not respond or side with Emmanuel because he is the stupid pack Alpha, but she would still try to prove a horrible point.

Bright moonlight filtered in through the slitted shades covering Alex's single bedroom window as he woke, casting a silver glow across his sheets and over his face. He groaned at the sudden brightness, throwing an arm over his eyes and rolling onto his side, facing the wall. He'd been dreaming; something about running through a forest. And rabbits. Big, fat, slow, juicy rabbits. Hundreds of them. Needless to say, it was a very good dream.

That is, it was a very good dream. Now he was wide awake and alert. Though he tried his best to slip back into that realm of unconsciousness, where he could hunt and feast on bunnies the size of horses to his dream-heart's desire, it was all in vain. He even tried counting sheep, but that only made him realize that he was hungry.

With a frustrated groan, Alex suddenly tore the sheets from his boxer-clad body and swung his legs over the side of his bed, rubbing his forehead groggily. The wooden floor of his tiny, upstairs bedroom was cool beneath his feet as he stood, padding across the room to his dresser. One of the drawers was already open, different articles of clothing hanging out. He grabbed the first thing his hands came in contact with, a rumpled blue t-shirt with the words "FREE HUGS" in big black letters across the front, and quickly pulled it over his head. He didn't bother putting on any pants over his boxers, as he didn't feel the need to be modest in a household full of people who could read his mind.

Dragging his fingers through his shaggy hair once, Alex left his room and made his way to the end of the hall and down the stairs, making a bee-line to the kitchen where his sister was munching on a cereal bar. He thought that strange, as it had to be three o'clock in the morning, but nonetheless made his way over to the refrigerator, tussling his sister's hair as he passed by. Maybe random, late-night binges ran in the family.

Alex yanked open the refrigerator door and scanned its contents, looking for something to sate his appetite. A half-eaten birthday cake from about a month before sat on the middle shelf, and Alex pulled it out and set it on the counter, inspecting it to make sure it was still edible. He couldn't quite remember whose birthday it had been, as the only letters that hadn't already been eaten off were "Happy Bir-" and "B" and "L" from whoever's name had been iced onto it. He didn't really care, though. It looked safe to eat.

Instead of getting another plate, Alex simply grabbed a fork, took the cake to the island, and ate it as it was. He didn't think anyone would mind.

A few moments passed and Rose suddenly walked into the kitchen, her bunny slippers scuffing on the tile floor, reminding him of his dream. "Hi," she said without a wayward glance at them. In about point five seconds she downed a glass of water and left in on the counter. "Bye." She headed back upstairs without another word.

"Good morning to you, too," Alex mumbled after she was gone. He reached across the island and grabbed the empty glass, setting it on top of the pile of dishes in the sink. He threw his fork in there too, where it immediately disappeared in the mess, and slid the demolished birthday cake off the side of the island and into the trash can below.

Belly full of month-old cake, Alex left the kitchen and wandered into the living room, plopping down into one of the plush chairs with a sigh. It was peaceful at the moment, completely empty and quiet. He sat and enjoyed the silence for a few moments, his mind drifting back to those chubby bunnies from his dream, before the peaceful atmosphere was shattered as Rose decided to grace the room with her presence. She sat in a chair across from him and immediately began chipping at her toenails. Alex decided to ignore her, keeping his eyes closed and his head back against the couch cushion, but that was when the popping started. He squeezed his eyes shut tighter and she began tapping her foot. He put a pillow over his face and, of course, she started snapping her fingers in what had to be an attempt to drive him mad. He suffered through about thirty seconds of it before finally throwing the pillow off his face and snapping his head up, giving her a murderous look.

"Good God, Rose! Will you just quit it?" Rose stopped without a word.

Sighing, Alex let his head fall back against the cushion again and shut his eyes, hoping to finally get some peace and quiet.

But, as luck would have it, Emmanuel chose that moment to enter to room and call everyone down for a meeting or something. Alex groaned in frustration as the entire pack began filing into the room. Of course.

"We all have our duties for the day don't we; remember everyone patrols together or alone, if you don't won't that to happen to you. But hey, they can't touch anyone in our pack unless I allow them to, which won't happen. You guys are my pack,” Emmanuel said, and Rose immediately started going on about kicking vampire asses and such. Typical Rose.

"I'd rather not," Alex mumbled, his head still lax and his eyes shut. The last thing he wanted to do to start off his day was fight with a hoard of blood-suckers, though he couldn't speak for anyone else. Those vamps fought dirty.

#, as written by Jeggy
Damien layed on his bed, wide awake and very still. His arms where folded up behind his head as he gazed out the window beside his bed. His clear brown eyes blinked slowly, watching the stars twinkle brilliantly in the velvety black sky. He was starting to drift slightly, eyes slowly glazing over and closing as another scene unfolded behind his eyelids. He was a wolf, a large, strong wolf. Running, running straight up. Up to those twinkling diamonds in the night sky, the air velvety and soft like patches of moss underneath his paws as he climbed a spiraling trail to leap among the brightness. He could almost hear the soft thumping footfalls of his pack-mates leaping alongside him in the sparkling meadow...

Wait, nope. Damien blinked his eyes open, turning his head to look towards the door and see the shadows moving back and forth from underneath the door frame. He took a deep breath, feeling his chest fill up, up... and exhaled out until it was empty. He heaved himself into a sitting position, looking around his small bedroom in the dim light. Small, bur neatly crammed with whatever shit he threw around, he realized with raised eyebrows.

He threw his senses out of the room, ears carefully tuned to footsteps on hardwood floors and voices lighting the silence of the night. Who called a pow-wow without him? And at whatever ungodly time it must be, as well? Damien stood eagerly, slipping out of his room and following the light and sound to the main living room where Emmanuel and, well, the whole pack sat. He reached the room, leaning in the door frame to catch Emmanuel's notice.

"Guys, I think it's time I told you of what my final plans for today were, if you all will just help me out for god's sake why won't you. We all have our duties for the day don't we, remember everyone patrols together or alone, if you don't won't that to happen to you. But hey, they can't touch anyone in our pack unless I allow them to which won't happen. You guys are my pack".

Damien frowned. Why did Emmanuel look stressed? There something going on... had he already missed something important? Rose went on about the Vamps and Alex just looked tired. Damien came up to stand behind his cousin's chair, shooting him a sympathetic smile before turning to the pack leader.

"What are you talking about? We know to stick together," he replied bluntly.
"Is there something else?" He asked softly.

What could there be, besides those blood-sucking fools? He'd known they'd been attacking their pack recently, but the werewolves were strong, he was positive about that, and Damien, for one, had already been thinking up somehow to get even...
He clenched his jaw, thinking.

Thinking that maybe he was hungry now. He narrowed his eyes without turning his head, able to smell Natahlia in the kitchen, munching on a cereal bar. And the scent of fresh deer was definitely coming from Emmanuel. God, he was hungry now. But he stayed put, daring his stomach to growl as he watched his pack leader, who definitely had some things on his mind. Damien held his breath, keeping back a small sigh and his face straight. Food would have to wait, it seemed.

Adrienna Tessa Montgomery

Under a disaster of sheets was a small blonde headed teenager who was honestly dead to the world at the moment. Luckily for Tessa her sleep was peaceful and without one of her nightmares, but she wouldn't have minded having one of her rare good dreams. Then it seemed life entered her body as she stirred from under the covers giving a small grunting noise as she just rolled back over, hoping for a few more needed hours of sleep. That wasn't happening though. She took a deep breath and slowly peaked out from under the covers, her eyes instantly shutting as light from one of her windows hit her. She gave a frustrated growl as she threw the covers back over her head. She laid there finally realizing she was really not getting back to sleep, she peaked out from under the covers again but this time she had her eyes closed. She slowly slipped from underneath her covers and turning to where her feet touched the ground, finally opening her eyes. She had to still squint though, she didn't know if it was the whole werewolf moon thing or that the sun just didn't like her. She glanced around as she ran a hand through her long wavy blonde hair.

Hearing a few of the others moving around she guessed there was probably going to be a meeting soon. She took a deep breath as she went over to her dresser. Honestly, she didn't care what she wore..she might as well just go down there in her pajamas. So, it was decided. She headed downstairs in her fleece polka-dotted pants that were white with all different color polka-dots and a shirt that had something written on it, but from upside down it was hard to read. She stopped at the door, who was she kidding she did care what she wore. She was already the "mutt" in the pack. She'd only been here for a few months, most of the pack had been together for years..how she got accepted into it she didn't know. She went over to her dresser pulling out her favorite shirt. A black ramones shirt that was a little big for her and then she went over and grabbed her white skinny jeans and slipped on a few of her beloved braceletes. She yawned as she finally went over and silently cracked open the door and peaked out, she saw no one was there so she quietly went toward the stairs. Without any shoes on, that's how she liked it. Barefooted.

Once downstairs she decided to check out the kitchen, for a little snack. She walked in, seeing a few had the same idea, she tried to act calm around them but to be honest werewolves scared her. She had heard stories of how werewolves treated half-breeds, like herself, differently and referred to them as "mutts". She knew most of the pack, but she tried to keep to herself. She hadn't really said more than a word to most of them. She looked at Alex who had found a birthday cake, she tilted her head a little..good thing werewolves could eat almost anything. She went over to one of the cabinets and grabbed a thing of goldfish, popping a few in her mouth as she leaned against the counter. Her eyes flickered to the sound of someone dragging their feet, she saw Rose and arched a brow as she walked in. "Hi," she said, Tessa gave her famous awkward wave and watched as Rose got a glass of water. She finished it in about five seconds, Tessa had the urge to start chanting, "Chug, chug, chug!" when Rose was drinking. Then Rose left with a simple, "Bye." Tessa's attention then shifted to Alex who had mumbled, "Good morning to you, too," and she watched as he added to the mountain of already dirty dishes. She cringed a little, all those dishes were a little disgusting but she was too lazy to clean them so she couldn't be pointing fingers at anyone. She silently finished a few more goldfish before she made herself sit the bag down and go join the rest of the pack in the living room.

Becoming uncomfortable rather quick after entering the living room seeing there was someone already in there..but it was too late to back out now, Tessa took a seat on one end of the larger of the two couches as her eyes flickered around the room. She tried to seemed relaxed around the group but it was hard. She watched some of the pack interact, thats what she usually did..watched, she wasn't one for interacting with others. She saw Alex was in the room and Rose had just showed up.

She watched as it seemed Alex was becoming irritated with what Rose was doing, she on the other hand didn't mind what Rose was doing. Her tapping and snapping were actually quiet catchy, but apparently Alex didn't think so cause he seemed to be trying to suffocate himself with a pillow. When he threw the pillow off his face, Tessa's eyes widened at the look on his face. "Good God, Rose! Will you just quit it?" his words made Tessa jump a bit. She was a bit jumpy around the others. That's when more of the pack entered the room, her comfort level plummeting. Emmanuel, the pack leader began to speak, "We all have our duties for the day don't we; remember everyone patrols together or alone, Tessa shifted in her seat uncomfortably as she looked down at her feet, she was one of the few or maybe the only one that didn't really patrol because shifting was a rather painful experience for a half-breed and she avoided it, but if she had to she would patrol alone. if you don't won't that to happen to you. But hey, they can't touch anyone in our pack unless I allow them to, which won't happen. You guys are my pack,” Another touchy topic, Tessa just remained quiet avoiding all eye contact at all costs.

The others on the other hand were speaking their minds. Rose wanted to kick some vampire ass, Alex disagreed with her, and then Damien decided to speak.
"What are you talking about? We know to stick together," Tessa looked up for this sentence, "Is there something else?" The words made her stomach clench. What was happening? What did Emmanuel have planned? She swallowed silently as she waited for an answer.

Nat messed with the ends of her hair as she saw Adrienna walk in frist. She smiled and waved before returning to the facination she had with her hair,it wasn't that she didn't want to be close with Adrienna it's just she main kept to herself. She wanted to get to know her better, the others were a year or two older than her so having another girl who was her age made her not feel so much like a child. She watched as her brother and Rose walked. She watched Alex trying to go back to sleep while Rose was snapping her fingers and tapping her foot. She knew that pissed her brother off and she couldn't help but smirk and chuckle.

"Good God, Rose! Will you just quit it?" She had to cover her mouth from bursting out laughing. She loved seeing her brother tick tick boom,it was priceless. "Aw,see what happens when he doesn't get his eight hours of sleep? He gets all grumpy and meaner than usual." She raised an eyebrow while looking at the others and chuckling. After all of that she saw her cousin come in,she waved before seeing Emmanuel walk in. She listened as her leader spoke but still she was distracted by her fuzzy hat on her head. "We all have our duties for the day don't we; remember everyone patrols together or alone, if you don't won't that to happen to you. But hey, they can't touch anyone in our pack unless I allow them to which won't happen, you guys are my pack." She was about to speak but before she got the chance Rose started to speak,"Can’t we like kick vampire ass or do something wrong to people we dislike?" She smiled at the thought but she raised her hand shyly, not that she was shy but it was just something she did to amuse the other. She cleared her throat before speaking,"Come Rose,we hate those blood suckers just as much as you do but we shouldn't go around picking fights. I mean,if they want to fight then of course we would fight back but I learned.....in my many years of getting in trouble to never throw the frist punch." She raised as eyebrow,if anyone knew that lesson it was her and everyone knew it.

To break off the topic of those blood sucking demons as she called them she reached in the pocket of her hat and pulled out her phone and started to play the song,Boyfriend. She loved to bug the others espcially Emmanuel and Alex, seeing that they both had the most attority over her. She went over to her brother and put the phone to his ear and hugged him from behind. "God,I love you Alex but really,it's time to wake the hell up. And no more sourpuss,be happy you're living." She needed to lighten the mood from Damian's question, she hated being in an awkward silence mainly because it felt everyone was angry at everyone else. And she didn't want that to happen.

It seemed everyone in the room was holding their breath, waiting for Emmanuel's answer to his cousin's question. Was there something else? Their pack leader didn't need to remind them to stick together; they were a family. They looked out for each other, and protected one another without question. It was pack instinct as well as familial love, and Emmanuel knew that as well as anybody in the room. Something wasn't...right. All eyes were locked on the alpha, and the room was as silent as the grave.

That is, until the prepubescent girl-voice of Canada's newest offensive tactic on the US suddenly assaulted their ears.

"Natahila!" Alex barked, knowing immediately who the culprit was.

And then suddenly it was right in his ear, right along with the voice of his sister as she hugged him. "God, I love you Alex but really, it's time to wake the hell up. And no more sourpuss. Be happy you're living."

Alex swatted the phone away from his face, partly pulling away from his sister's embrace as he did. He turned his head and glared at the phone in disgust, as if it had the plague.

"Jesus, Nat, what the hell are you trying to do to my eardrums? It sounds like you recorded a little kid screaming over Xbox live," he said, rubbing the assaulted ear. Alex originally didn't have any problem with Justin Bieber, but with how much his sister played his shittacular new "hit single" several times on a daily basis, he wasn't surprised he hadn't already filled his ears with cement just to escape it.

But, the interruption did have the desired effect on the pack. Some of the tension dissipated, but Damien's question still hung in the air like a fog, just waiting to be answered.

Rose sat back in her chair as people started to chew her out or give her evil glances. "I'd rather not," Alex had said, Rose responded by sticking out her tongue at him. Alex wasn’t exactly the nicest person ever to her today he yelled at her earlier for being annoying them again quite a few people did. Rose was being a bit of a bitch today but when wasn’t she?

“Come Rose, we hate those blood suckers just as much as you do but we shouldn't go around picking fights. I mean, if they want to fight then of course we would fight back but I learned.....in my many years of getting in trouble to never throw the first punch." Rose rolled her eyes as Nat lectured her. Rose isn’t one to throw the punch first she’s just all talk. Well that is till you piss her off
. But that’s another story. Rose did know that Nat did have more experience with that crap then she did but still she didn’t like being lectured.

Rose sat back in her chair and started picking at her finger nail. She was already making plans to go buy some remover. She had gone out to a bar last night and she painted her nails to make them look nice. She tried to look nice she even took more than 5 second to do her make up. Rose did put on makeup almost every day but she rarely ever took that long putting it on and it usually looked quickly done, which is was.

"Is there something else?" That cut through Rose’s thoughts and made her sit up a bit straighter. “Wow is there actually drama going on?” Rose asked she tried to sound bored but she couldn’t hide the excitement in her voice. After that was said Rose become silent like everyone else. They all seemed to be holding their breath waiting for an answer.

Well it was silent until Nat played Justin Beiber’s song Boyfriend. Rose was about to yell at her to turn the damn thing off when Alex yelled at her. Of course her reaction was hilarious.

"God, I love you Alex but really ,it's time to wake the hell up. And no more sourpuss, be happy you're living," Said Nat as she put the phone right by Alex’s ear. Rose laughed; she hated Justin Beiber and would rather be attacked by a bear then listen to him but to see Alex so pissed was awesome.

Sadly the moment didn’t last long because everyone was still waiting for Emmanuel’s answer. Rose had a hard time sitting still though. She kept moving around, people gave her deadly looks but Rose just returned them. Finally she sat still and looked around at everyone in the room. Her eyes landed on Adrienna but everyone called her Tessa. Tessa was new here; she had only been here for a few months. Rose had spoken to her directly to her maybe 10 times in the last few months, Tessa didn’t say much. Tessa looked terrified though, waiting for an answer but then again she always got scared when some in the pack said something or did something.

A few hours earlier...
(Vampire time)

Emmanuel Cross woke with a groan. Someone was shaking his bed, and he'd just fallen asleep. He sat up and rubbed his eyes sleepily, letting them adjust to the dark. "Wake up darling, I have a message for you." He knew that voice. Emmanuel's eyes snapped open, and, just as he'd suspected, Fox was perched at the end of his bed, a letter in her hand.

"What are you doing here Fox?" He grunted somewhat rudely and stood, crossing to his dresser. Since he wasn't ever going to get to bed, there was no point in not dressing. Cranky when his sleep is interrupted, Emmanuel yanked the drawer open a little too hard, causing the wood to splinter. He groaned. "See what you make me do Fox?" He smirked at her before slipping out of his pajama bottoms and tugging on a pair of jeans and a white cotton t-shirt.

Once dressed, he walked back to his bed and sat in front of her, grabbing the letter from her hand. It was crisp, yellowed, and even smelled old. His night-vision allowed him to scan over it in the dark, and when he was done, he raised a single eyebrow at Fox. "Alright, I'm interested. What the hell is this about?"

Currently...
(Werewolf time)

Emmanuel watched his packs reactions. Rose wanted to run out and cause a fight. Of course. Alex didn't want to, and Natalie started playing music at some point, but it was Damien who asked the million dollar question.

"What are you talking about? We know to stick together. Is there something else?"

He'd planned not to tell them until the vampires actually showed up, but that didn't seem to be an option anymore. He wouldn't lie to his pack. "Uh. Yeah." He replied, not too sure on the best way to break it to them. In the end, he chose bluntly. "The vampires are going to be moving in with us a bit later today." He paused, allowing the news to sink in before running a hand over the back of his neck and continuing. "I've gotten a message from Aurora," he said, remembering Fox's visit earlier that morning. "There's a band of human hunters after us. She got a magic letter from the lost Princess Danielle Cabelle that explains how strong they are. She's convinced that the only way to stay safe is to join forces."

He looked at Rose, knowing she would probably disagree the strongest, his green eyes pleaded with her to understand before he turned back to the others. "I'm going to go ahead and trust her on this one. Aurora and I have hated each other for two hundred years, but hey, if this turns out to be a trap, they're all just that much closer right? It'll be easy to finish them off if things go sideways." He shrugged and pushed his hands into his pockets, awaiting their reactions.

"Believe in or not, I actually do have an idea."

Caprice smiled at the same time as Chandler, she knew he'd been a perfect replacement for Bryce. "Just promise you'll listen to all of it before you go crazy on me?" That made one eyebrow raise, what could he be planning that would make her crazy? She leaned forward, elbows on her desk, prepared to listen. His blue eyes burned on her brown ones and she gave him a slight nod and made the motion of zipping her lips and throwing the key away.

"Remember that rogue vampire I brought in a couple weeks back? The one cursing in a different language? Real strong.. Took at least five guards to hold him off?" She did. It had been a great catch, but what did he have to do with any of this? Confusion clouded her eyes for a second until he explained.
"Well, I'm going to need him after all, his blood. You want this Aurora girl aliv-.. Well, un-undead, right? I know how I'm going to do it. How I'm going to get myself close to her to bring her in. Doing so, however, I must become.. One of them partially."

That shocked her. He'd leaned forward while he was talking, their faces merely inches apart. When he said that though, he'd leaned back as if she would hit him, but she just sat waiting cooly, as if they were talking out their favorite sports team. "I know me saying it aloud sounds completely idiotic, but just hear me out, Caprice." His blue eyes pleaded with her, and she gave him a nod, urging him on.

"Bryce, obviously, done everything he could think of doing to bag this vampire. Everything but going behind enemy lines. You know I can do this. All I have to do is inject a vial of vampire blood. It would mask my human scent, making me, yes, a h-half breed.." She caught the wavering in his voice and one eyebrow shot up slightly. "But it will get my foot in the coven's door. I can say I'm a loner, a rogue they needs a coven. Caprice, you know I'm strong.. Think of if I had leech blood running through my veins. Practically unstoppable," Caprice smiled lightly. He was cocky, but then again so was she. Pride wasn't always a bad thing.

Her usually unreadable eyes had widened to twice their, already huge, size, shock clearly displayed. He wanted to make himself a monster and expected her to just let him do it? She rose out of her seat to object, but he beat her to it.

"Once again, I know it is risky. It will be a lengthy process. I will have to earn the head leech's trust, but it can be done. Plus, I can feed you back information behind the lines. And! Think of all those immortals we can wipe out after awhile." That halted her for a second. He was right. With someone on the inside, they could kill practically all of those vermin.

"So, what do you think, boss?"

Caprice grinned slowly, crossing around to the front of the desk where she leaned on it's edge in front of him. "Okay." She said with a quirk of her eyebrows and a sigh. "It's risky, but we could kill almost all of Rose City's pests." Her brown eyes twinkled. "Not just Miss Aurora." Her head turned slowly towards him and she raised a challenging eyebrow. "Maybe I will have to sleep with you." She smirked, referring to the comment she'd made earlier about his killing all the Immortals in the city.

Just then, Priestly barged in, making a wild entrance. As usual. She rolled her eyes, but couldn't keep the amused smile off her lips as she pulled away from Chandler and wrapped back around to the other side of her desk to sit again. "Ah... I'm interrupting something." He said and Caprice gave him a sarcastic look, as if to say: Really?. "Well... go on. Don't stop on my account. I'm not even here." She sighed and turned back to Chandler.

"Alright, well. I'll let you do this, but if you get in trouble and have to sink ship." She shrugged. "Don't take me down with you, because if you do..." She stood, brown eyes suddenly menacing as she leaned over her desk and pressed a nail to his chest. "So help me God, if you take my opperation down, I will jump in there, save your ass, then drag you back here and make sure you get the slowest, most painful death I can provide." She paused, letting that sink in before sitting again daintily. As if she hadn't just threatened his life, her nonchalant coolness fell over her once more as she pushed him the file and waved her wrist. "You can go."

Caprice now looked at Priestly. "Nice timing, as usual Priestly." She said sarcastically and lifted the second file in one hand. "Are you going to put on another little show or do you want your assignment?"

Oh, and Aurora's just kinda chillin' in her room 'till Julien and Cassie get back

#, as written by Jeggy
"Uh. Yeah. The vampires are going to be moving in with us a bit later today." Blink. Blinkblink. What.
The usually cucumber-cool Damien couldn’t deny that he was surprised. In fact, this may be one of the biggest surprises he’d ever gotten. This just couldn’t be real. He turned to look around at his pack-mates, about to tell Emmanuel that he was being ‘very funny’ but that’s the biggest load of bullshit-
"I've gotten a message from Aurora; There's a band of human hunters after us. She got a magic letter from the lost Princess Danielle Cabelle that explains how strong they are. She's convinced that the only way to stay safe is to join forces."
Damien had to plant his feet and grit his jaw to steady himself as he stared at Emmanuel, unblinking. This couldn’t be real! Living with those shiny leeches? Their people were enemies! And for what? Because some humans were a threat? How could those scrawny people be dangerous? No, no, not a funny joke at all. What day was it? April first already?
Damien moved to the back of the room behind the chairs and couches to where he could pace. He walked the distance from one wall to the other. Stared at Emmanuel. Walked back. Glanced at his family’s faces. Continued walking.
Humans. Powerful humans. They must have some kind of technology, to get Immortals. How could they even find the Immortals, let alone hunt them? Immortals were incredibly strong, powerful, smart. How long had this gone on? Were all the recent deaths really at the hands of the Vamps, or these humans? He didn’t go into the city much, but when he did, no one had ever suspected anything of him and the pack. The last time he went, no one was on edge. Perhaps these people weren’t even known to the general public? That means they’d have to be small. Not very numerous ranks. Well that was a relief. But what wasn’t was that even though small, they must be powerful to take out even a few Immortals...
Damien stopped walking, and glared at the wall with burning eyes. Even the thought of those blood-sucking freaks made his throat tighten and his eyes narrow. His fists closed. He shook his head as if to shake away the oncoming headache. How how how could mere humans take Werewolves and Vampires down?
Damien took a breath, hoping it didn't sound like a gasp. He hoped his pack mates hadn't overheard his reeling thoughts... he stood a minute more to calm down, then turned again to the room just as Emmanuel spoke again. "I'm going to go ahead and trust her on this one. Aurora and I have hated each other for two hundred years, but hey, if this turns out to be a trap, they're all just that much closer right? It'll be easy to finish them off if things go sideways."
Damien made his way quickly to an empty chair and practically fell onto his rear. He slumped down, arms crossed. Shook his head slowly, eyes rolling to the ceiling. Emmanuel believed her. And Damien trusted Emmanuel. But how could they know anything for sure? Damien didn’t know if they could wait for time to tell.
He wondered what Aurora’s coven was thinking. Were they just as surprised as he was, or readying attack plans? But if these humans really were the threat that Emmanuel and Aurora, and that Danielle princess made them out to be, maybe it could work. If they could possibly work together, they would be incredibly strong.
Damien sucked a breathful of air into puffed cheeks, let it out silently through his nose, and sat up. He glanced at the pack. He was itching for more information, but held back.
“Okay, so when?” He asked, voice taut.

((While yes the whole pack is in the room, I've only tagged the people directly spoken of in my post. This is okay, I assume?))

Alex's head snapped back around to face Emmanuel so fast he nearly gave himself whiplash, his eyes wide with surprise and disbelief. Wait, what? Had he heard right? Did their pack leader just tell them that the vampires were coming to live with them? On their territory? In their house? This had to be a joke. And it wasn't a very funny one at that.

"Tell me you're kidding," Alex said, rising from his chair to stand level with Emmanuel.

"I've gotten a message from Aurora; There's a band of human hunters after us. She got a magic letter from the lost Princess Danielle Cabelle that explains how strong they are. She's convinced that the only way to stay safe is to join forces," Emmanuel replied as he ran a hand over the back of his neck. "I'm going to go ahead and trust her on this one. Aurora and I have hated each other for two hundred years, but hey, if this turns out to be a trap, they're all just that much closer right? It'll be easy to finish them off if things go sideways." Alex began chewing his thumbnail, brows furrowed in thought. Huh. Human hunters. Now that was funny.

"So, let me get this straight..." Alex began skeptically, still gnawing at his thumbnail. "We're going to let a coven of powerful, blood-sucking vampires who have always been nothing but trouble for our kind into our home in order to protect ourselves from a secret group of 'human hunters', all because of some magic letter?" He growled then, grinding his teeth together in an effort to keep from losing control of his temper. "Look, Emmanuel, I trust you with my life man, but this..." He shook his head. "...This is crazy! All of this just screams 'trap!' to me! Why take the risk? Haven't we lost enough to them?"

Alex gestured around the room then, at the people gathered around there, his heart squeezing with pain and grief as he remembered the two of them that had disappeared over the past months. Close friends, family, his pack...killed by humans? He couldn't believe it. He'd never had anything against humans. They were ignorant and therefore harmless, and now they were being told that mere humans had done this to them? It was like the lamb turning on the lion. Wrong.

And if it wasn't a trap, if Aurora was telling the truth and there really were humans out for their blood, Alex would make them pay.

(That's fine, Jeggy. ^^)

She smirked as her brother reacted the way she knew he would, she loved messing with him. Well, she like messing with anyone who was older than her to be completely honest. She let go of Alex and sat back down in her seat, fixing her hat and puilling her feet into the chair with her. She listened as she saw Emmaunel start to speak. She knew it couldn't be something good,by the way he looked. Then he started to speak the words she never wanted to hear,"The vampires are going to be moving in with us a bit later today," She scoffed and hoped to God he was joking, but it looked like her wasn't. "I've gotten a message from Aurora,There's a band of human hunters after us. She got a magic letter from the lost Princess Danielle Cabelle that explains how strong they are. She's convinced that the only way to stay safe is to join forces." Her mouth was wide open,There is no way in Hell, little humans can kill us!

She wanted to speak so freaking badly but decided to wait until he was down before Mt.Ramos went off. "I'm going to go ahead and trust her on this one. Aurora and I have hated each other for two hundred years, but hey, if this turns out to be a trap, they're all just that much closer right? It'll be easy to finish them off if things go sideways." By now her faced was a bit red and right as her mouth opened, Damien started to speak. "Okay,so when?" She scoffed as she looked at her cousin and then at her leader. Her brother was reacting the exact same way she was about to. This has to be a sick, twisted joke but either way, shye had to talk. "Are you two insane?! I mean,Emmanuel I love and trust with my life but, come on. Humans tiny little humans can not know how to kill us. How do you know that this isn't a trap, you wouldn't just be putting my life in danger but more importantly you're putting your life,my cousin's,your sister's,Adrienna's,and my brother's lives all in danger. Hell,if I die I couldn't care less but if I lost you guys to those bloodsucking demons I would have nothing left. " she could hear her voice starting to crack alittle, she cleared her throat before talking again. "I trust you almost as I trust Alex but,we have all hated those spawn of Satan ever since we changed and now you and that blond headed witch are trying to get us to play nice!?" She calmed down and exhaled deeply. She needed to before she said something she would regert. "Look this is crazy and damnit haven't we lost enough already!"

She took her phone and put it back in her hat pocket and just walked out of the room. Grabbing her jacket, she walked outside slamming the door behind her. She started to walk into the woods near their house. She needed time to think, away from everyone else and everything other than the nature around her. She grabbed a low branch, lifted herself up and leaned her back on the tree's trunk and put her feet on the fairly wide branch. She exhaled and just put her music on softly not wanting to scare away any wild life. She just looked up at the sun which was hidden between the branches on the tree. she picked a song that always got her calm but also made her tear up alittle. She looked at her necklace and swallowed the lump in her throat. "God Zander, where are you when I need you?" She said it so softly that she could barely hear herself,it wasn't like her to be this way but every once in a while everyone has there breaking points. And having those monsters move in with them was it,but if you think about are they any better?

Earlier...
(Vamp time)

Fox's reply to his harsh questions was a pout. Why was he not surprised? "Must it always be business first between us, Lover?" she said. "I haven't seen you all day. Didn't you miss me?" He just looked at her. Sure, he was being rude, and he had missed her, but he wasn't about to admit that. He was angry with her for waking him up at four in the morning. She then leaned forwards walked two fingers up his arm to his shoulder and then heaved herself so that she was draped across his lap.

The smile she flashed him was innocent and angelic, and he finally gave in. "You're right Fox. I'm sorry." He said and gave her a slight kiss on the cheek. "I missed you, now can you please tell me what this letter is about?"

"Although, maybe you're right. I'd hate for either of us to be distracted... Now, what was it that I was supposed to tell you..." She tapped her lips for a moment as she thought. "Oh right. Aurora Mortenson proposes a deal. She will be here tomorrow morning to join her Coven with your Pack. You will protect each other from these humans, these Cacciatori. And she said something as well about princesses and that magic letter, but I wasn't really listening. Either way, she was not asking. She'll be here at ten."

That had caught him completely off guard. Aurora just expected to show up at his house and move in like everything was okay? They'd been fighting for almost two centuries and she expected him to just throw up his hands and let her bloodsucking family in his home, near his pack? He shook his head. "Tell her no." He said plainly. "It's not happening." He held up the letter. "How do I know this isn't a trap?"

Presently...
(Werewolf time)

“Okay, so when?” Damien asked, not objecting, but clearly not happy about it either. Emmanuel breathed.

"Ten." He said, glancing at the clock. 9:30 am. "Half and hour."

"So, let me get this straight..." Emmanuel turned his eyes on Alex. "We're going to let a coven of powerful, blood-sucking vampires who have always been nothing but trouble for our kind into our home in order to protect ourselves from a secret group of 'human hunters', all because of some magic letter? Look, Emmanuel, I trust you with my life man, but this is crazy! All of this just screams 'trap!' to me! Why take the risk? Haven't we lost enough to them?"

Now there was the argument he'd expected. Emmanuel sighed. "Look Alex," he held up the letter "this letter is real. It even smells like magic and old age." He shook his head. "Even if Aurora is just trying to pull one on us, there is no way she could have faked this letter. And if she does try anything, we'll be ready. What if we do what you say Alex, and refuse them," he paused, "And you're wrong." He shook his head. "If these humans are out there, we will need them whether we like it or not."

"Are you two insane?! I mean,Emmanuel I love and trust with my life but, come on. Humans tiny little humans can not know how to kill us. How do you know that this isn't a trap, you wouldn't just be putting my life in danger but more importantly you're putting your life,my cousin's,your sister's, Adrienna's, and my brother's lives all in danger. Hell,if I die I couldn't care less but if I lost you guys to those bloodsucking demons I would have nothing left. " Natalie's sudden outburst made Emmanuel jump a bit and he turned to look at her. "I trust you almost as I trust Alex but,we have all hated those spawn of Satan ever since we changed and now you and that blond headed witch are trying to get us to play nice!? Look this is crazy and damnit haven't we lost enough already!"

And with that, she stormed out of the room, cherry red hair trailing behind her. The slam of the door rattled in the silence and Emmanuel pushed his hands into his pockets, looking at the ground. That question again. Haven't we lost enough already? He sighed and looked up. "I'm not asking you to agree with me, but we have to do this. You'll see. I wont let them stay here long if nothing happens, but if Aurora's telling the truth and this group of hunters is after us, we'll need everyone we can to finish them off. They're a huge operation and we've lost a lot of pack members to the feud. Not that I don't want to fight." He grinned mischievously. "We just need a common enemy. Think of how unstoppable we'd be."

"And afterwards," he added, "if you guys want, we'll kill the vampires. Rid ourselves of all possible threats. Rose City and Moon Forest would be ours. Not to mention, we could take their house." He said with a slight laugh. While the werewolf mansion was massive, the vampires's made it look like a hovel.

The look on Priestly's face instantly changed in that way of his. Now, instead of being a goofball, he was giving her a sensual, smoldering stare. It shocked Caprice and she looked at him, confused. What had she said...? "Well it depends..." Oh. She should have guessed Priestly would make a joke out of her comment. "Why kind of show do you want?"

She didn't respond, merely leaned back in her chair with a slight smile as he did his little dance. When he finally composed himself, she simply looked at him and quirked up one eyebrow. It was hard not to laugh. "You done?" She asked with a smile.

"I guess there's a time and a place for everything." She laughed lightly and rolled her eyes.

"Yes, but your judgement of that seems to be completely mixed up." She smiled.

"Speaking of time and place... I brought pie!" Pie? She watched with brown eyes as Priestly brought a pecan pie over and placed it on her desk. She'd been half hoping that it would be raspberries, so that she could throw it at him and complain about how she was allergic. Pecan however, was her favorite so she was forced to give him a smile and a thank you instead.

After giving her the pie, he sat on the other side of her desk and looked suddenly serious. His ability to switch moods so quickly annoyed Caprice, but he was always good for a bit of amusement if she ever got bored around the office and there was nothing to hunt. He threw a file on her desk and Caprice lifted it open with two fingers and looked at it. Veronica. She dropped it again and looked at him, listening. "Anyway, that's all the data I got on my latest kill. She had the same contact as the others and the same code pattern as the other texts. I'm not sure what it means exactly, but I have a theory. I think it might be some kind of... secret... Vampire... spy network. All of the targets were from different covens and I doubt knew about each other. So it's nearly impossible for it to get back to their leader... this "Big H", this Vamp must have a good amount of influence." Spy network? She'd never heard that one. Interesting... "Every time Ive tried to contact Big H, about 7 minutes later, the phone disconnects. I did it twice now, once on the others phones." He placed a phone on her desk and Caprice reached forward, grabbing it and looking it over for a second before setting it down again and returning her chocolate gaze back to him. He looked apologetic and sincere. "I'd be able to give you more, but as you stated earlier, I'm not very good with codes. That's all Ive got.....sorry."

It's true, she wished he had more, but he had done a good job so she just nodded. A gesture that could be taken either way. Not a second later had he gone straight back to the Priestly that annoyed her. "Umm, right, yeah anyways. You said you had a new assignment for me? Oh yeah, that thing Chandler said.....WHAT?! Why did he say he was injecting himself into Vampire blood?! Were you just okaying that!? WHAT IS GOING ON!!!????" He then immediately changed his posture to one completely at calm. "You know.....if you can."

"Not that it's any of your buissness..." Caprice said with a small smile of amusement as she leaned back and crossed her legs. "But Chandler's going undercover. And yes. I agreed." She shrugged. "As long as he doesn't use his new gifts to kill innocent humans, he's extremely valuable to us. Not a target." She pushed the file on her desk towards him.

"Anyway, as for your assignment, I think we've let up on the werewolves a little too much lately. You're going to be going after Emmanuel Cross. Their leader."

Of course Aurora heard Julien coming, but she didn't care. She just stayed where she was, gloden hair splashed across red silk sheets as she stared up at the ceiling. And that's exactly how he found her. "So, let's just get straight to the point. Who are they?" He said plainly and she sat up, moving to the center of her huge bed and sitting there, looking him over. He was going to argue with her. Why not? As if her night hadn't been stressful enough. At least it would feel good to yell at someone.

"They're humans." She smirked, blue eyes challenging, daring him to fight with her. "Or could you not tell by the smell?" She rolled her eyes and quirked her eyebrows. She knew that hadn't been the answer he was looking for, but she didn't care. "Spies." She said with a shrug. "I hired the boy to do some looking into things. To see if something was... suspicious. The Cacciatori found out and threatened the sister." She pretened to yawn. "Are you mad that I brought humans in or that I didn't tell you?"

She rolled her eyes and flicked her wrist dismissively. "Men." She said plainly. "Always think they have to know everything. You know Julien it's not th-" She was cut off short.

Standing on her balcony was a man. She looked at him in confused shock as he gave her a little wave. What the...? A cold breeze floated in, rustling her sheets, tugging at her nightgown and hair, and bringing Aurora the mans scent. Vampire. But not a full vampire... She tilted her head to the side and raised an eyebrow at him. He'd interrupted her argument. She'd been so looking forward to screaming at someone.

"Who the hell are you?" She hissed, trying to control her boiling anger. "And why are you here?"
"You better have a damned good reason."

Adrienna Tessa Montgomery

Adrienna’s eyes flickered towards the movement when she silently entered the living room. Her blue eyes found Natahila messing with the ends of her hair. Tessa had found small traits of each of the pack members while she was quiet just listening and watching the pack mess around. Nat had this trait of being fascinated with her hair, but who would blame her..she had flaming red hair and it was a bit of an eye-catcher. Tes gave a small wave back to Nat as she took her seat.

Everyone was talking amongst each other, she just pulled her knees against her chest wrapping her arms around her legs as she watched the pack with amusement. About that time was whenever Alex had become fed up with Rose, but it was Nat to the rescue. She gave a small amused smile as she watched Nat tease her brother, then Rose spoke of kicking some vampire ass making Tessa’s smile disappear. Other immortals including “her” kind were a bit intimidating..most were cut out for the job and a lot took on their “abilities” easily, but Tes was a bit confused on the whole “abilities” thing. She swallowed as she pulled herself from her own thoughts and listened to Nat talk. That’s when it seemed Nat had an idea to somehow ease the dense feeling, that had come from Damien’s question, in the room..by playing music. Tessa’s eyebrows shot up as she watched the other’s reaction to the music. Alex was already in a bad mood before the music, but somehow it seemed the music made his mood even worse. Rose seemed to be about as fond of the music as Alex was. The blue eyes of Tessa caught Rose looking at her. She felt a bit uncomfortable, but Rose was the one of the few Tessa had spoke to. Her gaze flickered back to Emmanuel who didn’t seem to react to the music at all.

”Uh. Yeah.” Tessa’s eyes narrowed a bit as he spoke, he seemed to be hiding something. ”The vampires-” At the word vampire Tessa’s muscles tensed, eyes turning a bit colder as she listened, ”-are going to be moving in with us a bit later today.” ...Tessa was silent for a moment, then her eyes widened. TODAY?! ”I’ve gotten a message from Aurora. There’s a band of human hunters after us. She got a magic letter from the lost Princess Danielle Cabelle that explains how strong they are. She’s convinced that the only way to stay safe is to join forces.” Tessa’s lip twitched a bit as a small growl had buried itself in her throat, she didn’t like this plan at all. Humans killing..immortals, that’s practically impossible. And now Miss Vampire Leader wanted to join forces. Join forces? What was this, Star Wars? Tessa opened her mouth to say something but her jaw snapped close. Why not wait to see what the others had to say first. Her eyes flickered towards the other, knowing they wouldn’t be happy about this. ”I’m going to go ahead and trust her on this one. Aurora and I have hated each other for two hundred years, but hey, if this turns out to be a trap, they’re all just that much closer right? It’ll be easy to finish them off if things go sideways.” Had he hit his head or something? A trap? How the hell would a little “mutt” like herself survive a trap?! Her gaze flickered to the others, hoping..praying they would knock some sense into their leader.

Her gaze first found Damien, he seemed as surprised as she did. Actually it was a bit scary how he moved behind the couch she was sitting to pace back and forth. She watched him go toward an empty chair and slumped down and crossed her arms. Wasn’t he gonna say no? She couldn’t stop her mouth from dropping open when Damien finally did speak. ”Okay, so when?” He wasn’t even gonna ask for an explanation?! Then she felt a bit of hope when she heard Alex. ”Tell me you’re kidding.” Tessa looked from Alex to Emmanuel. ”So, let me get this straight..” Then Alex’s trait began to show itself as he began to chew on his thumbnail. ”We’re going to let a cover of powerful, blood-sucking vampires who have always been nothing but trouble for our kind into our home in order to protect ourselves from a secret croup of ‘human hunters’, all because of some magic letter? Look, Emmanuel, I trust you with my life, but this...This is cray! All of this just screams ‘Trap!’ to me! Why take the risk? Haven’t we lost enough to them?” Tessa was hopeful that persuaded the leader, if it didn’t she hoped Natahlia would speak. And she did. ”Are you two insane?! I mean, Emmanuel I love and trust with my life but, come on. Humans tiny little humans can not know how to kill us. How do you know that this isn't a trap, you wouldn't just be putting my life in danger but more importantly you're putting your life, my cousin's, your sister's, Adrienna's,” Tessa’s eyes widened when she was mentioned. She gave a nod of approval of what Nat was saying. ”and my brother's lives all in danger. Hell, if I die I couldn't care less but if I lost you guys to those bloodsucking demons I would have nothing left. I trust you almost as I trust Alex but, we have all hated those spawn of Satan ever since we changed and now you and that blond headed witch are trying to get us to play nice!? Look this is crazy and dammit haven't we lost enough already!” Tessa felt her stomach clench as she watched the red hair of Nat storm out the door. Her eyes cold as she looked back to Emmanuel.

”I’m not asking you to agree with me, but we have to do this. You’ll see. I won’t let them stay here long if nothing happens, but if Aurora’s telling the truth and this group of hunters is after us, we’ll need everyone we can finish them off. They’re a huge operation and we’ve lost a lot of pack members to the feud. Not that I don’t want to fight. We just need a common enemy. Think of how unstoppable we’d be.” It was silent after their leader spoke. Tessa could feel her heart beating faster as she finally opened her mouth, ”Wh-Why can’t we move to their house? Why do they want to come here?” Tessa asked finally speaking up. She glanced around at the ones still in the living room. ”You aren’t asking us to agree..so, what you’re saying is even if we don’t like the idea you’re not gonna stop it.” Her courage was beginning to waver as she had one last thing to say. ”So either this goes..smooth or something is gonna go wrong. Someone say something defensive or step over a boundary line and all hell is gonna cut loose..Are-..Are you sure this is a good idea?” She asked, her voice had slowly became softer and softer by the end. She looked down, feeling a bit awkward how she decided to finally speak now.

Alex watched his sister storm out of the room, frowning. He'd have to go get her and make sure she was okay, after everything was said and done. And if these Cacciatori people really existed, he didn't want her roaming around on her own for too long.

"Look Alex." Emmanuel suddenly held up the letter, and Alex noticed how the edges were cracked from age and the paper itself yellowed and faded. "This letter is real. It even smells like magic and old age. Even if Aurora is just trying to pull one on us, there is no way she could have faked this letter. And if she does try anything, we'll be ready. What if we do what you say Alex, and refuse them...And you're wrong." Alex looked away, scowling. He had a point there. "If these humans are out there, we will need them whether we like it or not."

Alex sighed, lowering his hand from his face and crossing his arms over his chest. Emmanuel was certainly right about one thing. He did not like this at all. It wasn't that Alex personally hated the vampires, but the centuries-old rivalry made him wary of them. Okay, so maybe they hadn't been the ones to kill his packmates, if Aurora was telling the truth about the letter. Alex always told people they shouldn't judge or hate on principle, and he couldn't be a hypocrite now. He'd give the vamps a chance.

But still, he needed some reassurance. "Let me see the letter," he said, striding forward with his palm out. He took the withered piece of parchment, running his thumb over the cracked surface. Emmanuel was right. The letter smelled ancient, a scent reminiscent to the stench of an old, stuffy attic or a museum. The scent of old magic clung to it as well, causing Alex to wrinkle his nose a bit as he scanned the paper. His eyes narrowed at the part about the Cacciatori destroying the Roman lycan pack. So that was what really happened to the great Alberto Molinelli.

"I'm not asking you to agree with me, but we have to do this," Emmanuel continued as Alex read. "You'll see. I wont let them stay here long if nothing happens, but if Aurora's telling the truth and this group of hunters is after us, we'll need everyone we can to finish them off. They're a huge operation and we've lost a lot of pack members to the feud. Not that I don't want to fight. We just need a common enemy. Think of how unstoppable we'd be." Alex nodded slowly, eyes still fixed on the paper. He had a point there, too.

"And afterwards," he added, "if you guys want, we'll kill the vampires. Rid ourselves of all possible threats. Rose City and Moon Forest would be ours. Not to mention, we could take their house." He gave a small laugh, and Alex wrinkled his nose as he looked up from the paper. Fighting was not exactly his thing.

"If this letter is real, then that would be doing exactly what Miss Danielle Cabelle told us not to do." He looked back down at the letter, finding the words that had particularly stuck out to him when he'd read it. "Again I'll say it, set aside the rivalries. Other Immortals are not your enemies." He looked up at Emmanuel, one brow raised. "The Cacciatori are." He handed the letter to Damien, figuring he'd want to read it as well.

He glanced up in surprise when Tessa pitched in, not expecting her to speak up. Even so, she had as much a valid point as Emmanuel did. There was a certain risk to letting the vampires into their home, but...

"Okay..." Alex sighed. His initial anger had subsided, though he was still a bit wary of all of this. "...I believe you, Emmanuel, and I believe Aurora as well. These...humans...must be very powerful if they're able to kill legendary Immortals and wipe out entire packs and covens, all while staying under the radar. I'm with you on this one." He pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "I'm going to go find my sister." And with that he turned and strode quickly from the room.

"Ten. Half and hour."

Damien’s brow furrowed as he turned in his seat to look at the clock himself. The hands read 9:30. How could Aurora give them this kind of a notice? He looked around. How were they going to prepare things for the Vamps to move in, in just a half hour?! But, what was there really to prepare? He bit his lower lip to silence a sigh and stood up, moving closer to Alex and Emmanuel as he listened intently to his packmates discuss the situation.

"I'm not asking you to agree with me, but we have to do this. You'll see. I won't let them stay here long if nothing happens, but if Aurora's telling the truth and this group of hunters is after us, we'll need everyone we can to finish them off. They're a huge operation and we've lost a lot of pack members to the feud. Not that I don't want to fight. We just need a common enemy. Think of how unstoppable we'd be." Damien nodded grimly to the point about being hurt by the humans so far. If it was really the Cacciatori, then with the Vamps as allies they could get revenge. For a moment, anger churned in Damien’s stomach like fire, engulfing his stomach until it was empty except with need, need to kill those miserable humans. He liked the way Emmanuel smiled at the thought. "And afterwards," he added, "if you guys want, we'll kill the vampires. Rid ourselves of all possible threats. Rose City and Moon Forest would be ours. Not to mention, we could take their house." He said with a slight laugh.

Now that made Damien chuckle. Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer, he thought with narrowed eyes. They would play house with the Vampires, but if this all turned to naught and they were through being nice, they would be easy to get, already so close.

Damien caught a snatch of Emmanuel’s thoughts. While the werewolf mansion was massive, the Vampire's made it look like a hovel. Damien had to give his leader a wry smile at that, in agreement of the luxurious Coven house.
But now all their attention turned to Tessa.

“Wh-Why can’t we move to their house? Why do they want to come here? You aren’t asking us to agree..so, what you’re saying is even if we don’t like the idea you’re not gonna stop it. So either this goes..smooth or something is gonna go wrong. Someone say something defensive or step over a boundary line and all hell is gonna cut loose..Are-..Are you sure this is a good idea?” Damien blinked at the soft-spoken girl. She made a perfectly good point about their interactions. One little slip up, rude word, or suggestive body language would break whatever agreement they had now and with everyone together, it would be messy. Damien turned to cock an eyebrow at Emmanuel, speaking up as well.

“I agree... along with being on top guard, we’ll have to be on our best behavior. Anything could set off a fight, which we can’t afford at a time like this. But I think the answer to your first question is fairly simple.” He looked back at Emmanuel, as if for clarification to what he would propose. “Because the Vamps live on the edge of the City. The Cacciatori, humans, are obviously situated somewhere within the city, and we’re just farther away, tucked into these woods.” He glanced out a window with a faint smile, then turned back and shrugged, shuffling around to pace again in the back of the room with his hands behind his back, head tilted to the side in thought. As if to balance out his talking with some silence as he continued listening intently to Alex and their Alpha.

He stopped and watched the rest of the room again when Alex finally seemed to let down. "Again I'll say it, set aside the rivalries. Other Immortals are not your enemies. The Cacciatori are." Damien let an eyebrow drift upwards, listening to the quote. His eyes flashed to the letter and eagerly took the weathered document when offered, muttering a thanks.

"Okay..." Alex sighed, and Damien could hear the wariness in his voice. “...I believe you, Emmanuel, and I believe Aurora as well. These...humans...must be very powerful if they're able to kill legendary Immortals and wipe out entire packs and covens, all while staying under the radar. I'm with you on this one. I'm going to go find my sister."
Damien glanced up to see his other cousin flee the house, looking to their leader with a blank face before turning back to the letter.

Damien took a few steps backwards, slowly, until his back hit the wall and he leant against it as he read the old parchment. He read it, read it again, eyes flying over the words written by a hurried hand. Then, curious, he slowly brought it up and held it close to his face, and cautiously took in a deep breath.

Ancient, powerful magic, like stinging spices burned his throat and he dropped it, almost doubled over with coughs from the incredibly strong scent as it wafted to the floors. Stuffing a fist in his mouth with one hand and using the other to wipe quickly at eyes that had started to water, he looked up with a goofy apologetic look.

Steadying himself, Damien took up the letter from the floor and walked over to hand it back to Emmanuel. He smiled wryly at his Alpha before sitting back down and letting out one more half-smothered bark of a cough. He never did care for strongly-spiced foods.

Food. He was reminded of a hunger from the beginning of the morning and left quickly, trotting into the adjoining kitchen. Looking around, he grabbed an apple and a soda, gulping the soda down and taking a big, crunchy bite of the apple as he returned to his packmates in the living room. He stood a moment in the doorway, letting the sickly sweet juice of the apple clear his nose before glancing about the room, gaze falling on the clock with a glare. Damien swallowed his bite, turning to Emmanuel.

“I’d like to take another person or so, and be out waiting for the Vamps by the time they get here. Don't want those leeches tramping all over our territory then barging into our own house, thanks.” He said with slight irritation in his voice as he took another bite, turning to what was left of the seated pack. “Who wants to come with?” he mumbled from behind the mouthful of fruit.

After calming down a little bit,Natahlia exhaled deeply knowing she should apoligize to Emmaunel for being disrespectful. She knew she was in the wrong,no matter how much she would hate to admit it. She took off her hat and just let her feet dangle. Before anything, she had to get her mind off of her ex seeing that they could read her mind. She started to pay attention to the music coming of her phone and then they started to get stuck in her head and pushed out any other thought she had on her mind. She fixed her jacket and turned her music off before putting her phone in her pocket. She jumped off the branch on to the ground and just started to walk the oppisite way from the house, she loved exploring around the house,it was peaceful. As the house began to get out of view, she started to chuckle. "Human hunters. Yea,that true alright." anyone could hear the sarcasm in her voice if only people were around.

But now that to Emmanuel she was getting paranoid. What if they do exist? And what if they're watching me at this very moment...... What am I thinking, there is no way in Hell they're real. But either way,I should just trust Emmanuel,he is my leader and he never put any of us in danger before.God,I hate being wrong! She groaned and looked up at the clear sky. When are the bloodsuckers even coming? She was not going to like this, she already knew. One of them were going to calll them mutts which would piss her off and then you know what would happen. Not to self, keep temper down and to do that she need to stay close to Alex or Damian, they both were the only ones that could calm her down. Yea,she was a handful and sometimes she was terrified that her temper and attitude would get her kicked out of the pack. She needed to be around people but at the same time she was terrified of affection from anyone other than family by blood. She decided to turn around and head back, she wanted to get back before their "guests" arrived just so she could lock her room and get everything all nice and neat for the little princes and princesses.

Walking back she saw her brother, probably getting worried about her. God,she hated being the youngest,it made her feel all fragil and like and baby. She wexhaled and walked up to him. She looked down, she already knew what he was going to say. Something about just trusting their leader and stormin g out was uncalled for and a lot of other stuff she really didn't want to hear, She hated leture espcially from him of all people."I know,I know. and i'm sorry for storming out, alright. And as much as I think these 'hunters' are a bunch of bull,i'll trust Emmaunel. But,i'm warning ou if one of them put one hand on me I will kill them,ok?" She looked up at him with a serious look on her face, she was not playing one hand on her and all hell would break loose. She let out a small cough before she started to walk back to the house with her brothe not to far behind.
