"I choose my own fate..."

0 · 1,375 views · located in New Earth

a character in “Bitter Evolution”, as played by LunaSpirit

Description

Who is the survivor?

Name: Faith Alexis

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Personality: Faith is a strong willed young woman, with a very cold but good heart. She seems to sympathise with those weaker than her and finds herself protecting them without exactly realizing. The blonde is not one for joking and lazing around but always needs to have a plan and a reason for doing anything; determination is her middle name. Some of the more negative aspects of her personality is her tendency to lash out violently at those who get on her nerves, even if its her closest allies. Great at making enemies, but not so good of gaining friends. The youth tends to judge and hate people at first contact, but may show a large amount compassion once she gets to know them. Quite often she falls in love with the people she hates most. Though Faith prefers to stay independent she makes a good leader.

Image: Image

Addition: She has no wings.

Might? Beauty? Spirit?

Skills/jobs/gifts: Her speed and stamina is her key skill. Faith can move faster than what your eyes can follow. Other than that her amazing determination is what wins her a fight. Giving up has never been an option.

Weakness/Fears: Faith is not exactly the strongest of Necos. Her other weakness is the fact that she dislikes losing; she often forgets were she stands and loses control of herself. You can be as powerful as you like but without control your nothing.

Armour/Weapons: Her armour is in her image. Her weapon is below.

Image

Has two, one for each arm.

Flicking through the past

History: Faith refused to fight in the war. She knew it was going to lead to such devastation. However she happily killed anyone who fought against her as she travelled across the land looking for a better life.

Family: NA

So begins...

Aleph Banton watched her as she turned away from him, a small smile playing on her lips and his own, and start speaking. It appeared his words had had a positive effect on the beautiful young woman and there was nothing bad about that. To Banton, it was something really good to be able to help someone smile. He was a weird Neko like that. His noble, old-fashioned voice spoke up to her. "Two is better than one, I believe."

Well, he offered whoever would follow him protection and shelter from harm. It would be much easier a task to protect simply one woman who appeared to be able to protect himself. It helped she wasn't aggressive much like the 'bitch' Faith had spoke of before. Quite frankly, this was a very good situation for Aleph - he had someone to speak to, and someone he could protect.

Maybe he'll be able to make up for his past sin at this rate.

"Lets head south and look for somewhere to rest then." he suggested.

Faith Alexis

"Two is better than one, I believe."

"Sure is," The blonde smiled at Alephs comment. She began heading south at a rather sharp speed that she seemed to move at so easily. It looked like the woman was steadily walking but in fact she could have covered as much ground as if she was doing a quick jog. "Tell me about yourself," Faith stated quite bluntly. However her tone was happy, maybe even a little manically excitable. Aleph was a curious man; his armour bared many scars implying he had been in a lot of rather serious battles. "You seem like the sort with a story to tell, I thought so when I first met you..." Thinking back, she did not particularly like the brunette very much on his first appearance. Faith jumped to the conclusion he was arrogant and self centred, but in fact he was a rather different Neko completely. She was glad she hung around long enough for him to change her mind...

Faith looked over her shoulder realizing he was a good few steps shorter than what she was. The female tutted and rolled her pupils sarcastically before pausing and waiting for him to catch up. "Jeez you’re so slow," She smirked before forcing herself to steady her pace and walk alongside the warrior male.

Aleph walked at a normal, steady pace with the chank of his armor being very minimal, but definitely still present. His steps seemed just as easy taken as someone else's, though anyone else wearing armor like himself would find that be neigh impossible a task without the proper strength, endurance and experience that Banton had with his armor.

His eyebrow raised slowly at her inquiry, though he was happier that she would prefer to converse rather than walk silently. After all, what is the point in keeping company if you don't entertain each other? It'd be no different than being alone. His words were casual spoken. "I'm afraid am simply not that interesting a person. As with the majority of our race, war was my occupation. I was trained to use my blade, shield and armor all by my father, who wanted nothing less than to see me succeed in battle." he explained to her, with the most negative of thoughts now arising since he was on that subject. He would definitely refrain from saying anything about 'that', and he was glad he was behind her because he got a nice view of her ass had let a frown appear momentarily, which he corrected as soon as he noticed.

When she commented on his pace and then subsequently matched his own, his smiled. "I bartered some of my agility for a sturdy defense, so my apologies for holding you back, Faith." he smirked. "But how about you, Faith? Have you a story to tell? I'm much sure speaking about yourself would be more enjoyable than listening to my tale. All I own is violence and traveling, I admit."

Faith Alexis

The woman listened as he explained of his Father’s wishes. For a second or two only silence left her lips, her eyes following her boots as they stepped across the ashen ground. "Did you not want to fight then?" Faith turned to face Aleph, watching his expression fall into a dull kind of grey sadness. She sighed, lightly pushing his chin upwards with the tips of fingers in a seemingly child like attempt of getting back his happiness. "You look a hell of a lot more handsome with a smile, keep that in mind..."

"But how about you, Faith? Have you a story to tell? I'm much sure speaking about yourself would be more enjoyable than listening to my tale. All I own is violence and travelling, I admit."

The blonde warrior girl laughed lightly, a pretty white-pearl grin greeting Aleph. "Violence and travelling is interesting!? You know I'm even duller than you, I have spent these last few years wandering about the place looking for interesting people and some peace," Faith wracked her brains, trying to recall the key moments of her life. "I have had a few partners on my travels, but most of them used me for supplies and were on their way once healed or healthy. However I had one young youth by my side for a while, his name was Jake..." The picture of the copper haired boy wandered into her mind, his sweet imperfections and lack of strength all came back to her. "He kind of reminds me of Ace now I think about it, but even weaker. Jake almost seemed...Human..."

A wave of sorrow over ran the girl. Though she had no romantic feelings for this Jake, he was still one of people who had a huge impact on her life and own soul. Faith knew all along he was not quite Neco, but it was something they never spoke of. "One day he just vanished. I think a clan took him...but I'm guessing the poor guys dead now. I feel awful for not being able to protect him..."

A blur of white landed before Faith, causing her to let out a sharp gasp of shock and draw her weapon. Her arm blades leaned against her attacker’s neck, her eyes wide and teeth gritted. This was how they met. How ironic. Then she saw those eyes that captivated her, striking green and blue, beautifully unique . His hair snow white and expression distant and cheerful. Faiths mouth dropped open and she began to stutter before finally forcing out he words. "Y...yo...you came back...Darius..."

"One of a kind."

A butterfly. A creature of elegance. Its wings shockingly blue and swirled with a patten of black, unlike any other of its kind. Faith recoiled her weapon from his throat and placed her arm into the air towards the butterfly, to which its circled around her wrist twice. She smiled, watching the pretty little creature turn into a speck in the distance before turning back to Darius. She was far tooblissfully happy to see him to put her emotions into speech, and so she just stated. "Well...Hello there..."

Aleph "Muthafuckin'" Banton

Aleph never did answer her question, at least not vocally. His face betrayed the answer enough to warrant the silence he had given her when she had asked. When her soft had pushed his chin up, he smiled again for her. He even chuckled in amusement at her statement afterwards. "I shall, I shall." he responded with a small grin playing his lips.

He gave her his full attention as she spoke, listening to her own story. At least she wasn't always alone and had some companionship in some form or another, because walking a lonely road can end you up traveling down the path of insanity. Social interaction in this hell on Earth was most definitely required to keep yourself sane. At least for most people.

Aleph wasn't most people.

Suddenly, Aleph was made to retrieve his blade in both his and Faith's defense when he saw a flash of movement land before Faith. The act of equipping his blade was fast enough to keep him alive, he had shown himself often before when attacked. But when he got a better look at the white-haired man, he realized who it was........... .......... and was instantly (but no visually) less happy. Though Aleph simply just didn't like Darius for reasons unknown (because Darius was competition), he knew that he wasn't a threat because such an entrance was a horrible idea if he were. Aleph - instead of placing his blade back - lets his arm drop to the side a bit and listened to Faith, who was obviously ecstatic that he was back. Aleph didn't see why - there was nothing special about him, or that stupid butterfly.

"Darius." Aleph locked eyes with the man, his pupils giving off both the appearance of dullness and that of a hidden hostility. Hopefully, Darius knew that they were rivals, otherwise he might come off as rude.

(It is fine, sorry for like pushing a load of posts in your face. I'm super glad things are speeding up though, this RP is getting interesting)

Faith Alexis

"Darius."

Alephs voice had turned from its usual warm and proud tone to one of sharp coldness. Faith knew that he did not particularly like the white haired male, but of course that was not her problem at the moment, she was just so pleased of his return. The blonde looked over her shoulder at Aleph, eyes understanding, and a small somewhat apologetic smile. His weapon was still drawn, causing the woman to stiffen. Darius then responded by speaking his name, as though he was being submissive in a sarcastic way. Faith swallowed hard, eyes wandering to her boots once again, wondering if this tension would stumble out of hand and into an argument. "You're entrance was not rude, it was impressive..."

"Perhaps I should have stayed awhile longer before I disappeared... But if you really want to smack me for taking off, please punish me now."
"Perhaps keep me as a slave or lowly servant to her majesty?"

The warrior girl laughed, a rather smug smirk upon her lips and eyes shining with mischief. She gave a single wink before stating. "Well doesn't that sound fun? However I don't think I quite fit the role of queen or princess," Faith was not exactly your little weak damsel, and if anyone would ever think of her in such a way it would make her blood boil with anger. "Are you staying with us Darius? We are heading south and looking for a place of rest..."

Faith slowed her steps so she was alongside Aleph once again, her pupils locked on his expression, waiting for signs of displeasure or anger.

Aleph let his expression go blank and made himself almost completely unreadable. To anyone there, he might have even look a bit bored. His eyes stayed glued to his adversary, and when he was finally called to speak, he did so slowly and clearly. "I did offer my assistance to those that followed me." he said, then taking on a smile laced with sarcasm. "Is there a cause I should know of that might influence me to disagree with having your companionship? Do tell."

Faith Alexis

"It would be my pleasure, but unless your partner Aleph disagrees..."

Partner? Acquaintance? Lover? What did Darius mean by partner, and did she need to correct him or not? Faith bit sharply into her lip as the smug tension swarmed around the trio. Aleph battered a question back at the white haired male, the pair constantly secretly nipping at one and other while the blonde just stood there looking rather concerned. "You know it’s almost like you two are playing a game, like you're enjoying this..." She rolled her eyes and gave a fake light smile.

The sky was starting to fade into a dark shade of blue, the sunset only just visible lighting up the lower layers of the clouds a hot orange. For a second Faith thought the world looked beautiful, but of course she almost forgot she was living on Earth.

“We really best get a move on, I don’t fancy hanging around in the open when your vision isn’t one hundred percent,”

Aleph smiled coyly. "I know not of which you speak Faith. In any case, we should make haste before we're to become blind. The night is unforgiving in this harsh Earth." Unlike Darius, Aleph was a good man who would never commit the sin of murder without just cause. He did not plan the other man's actual downfall, nor did he imagine the result of the fight, were they to get into one. That being said, Aleph had sized him up when they met, just as he did everyone else. As friendly as he might have seemed, Aleph was not foolishly trustworthy, at least not normally. He might've been making that mistake with Faith, though he was unsure why.

Though he thought it strange, Aleph didn't question Darius' reasoning, though it was not the cause to which he did so. While he wouldn't be completely out of mind, Darius being out of sight was a relished thought in Aleph's opinion. The lack of much physique on the man was a disturbance best suppressed. Aleph had to wander: Does he even lift? Not enough if that were the case. The man probably relied more on speed than strength, as Aleph's original assumption had been before.

Banton took the lead and started walking before everyone. His armor clanked each time he took a step and he continued to wield his blade in his hand, though the shield remained locked in place via Specific Magnetic Attraction (SMA) on his back. This nifty little feature was simply a magnet that only attracted his blade and shield, and only when he so chose to. Despite its old, scarred appearance, Aleph's armor was not without a few tricks up his sleeve.

It would be soon later than they began upon a lone house in the middle of dead grass. Obviously, it had once been a barn, but growing crops on this hellhole was about as easy as rolling your right foot clock-wise while drawing a 2 with your right hand at the same time without disruption - it was neigh impossible. But it would do. The sky had begun getting darker, and time would be well spent inside now. "Look." Aleph pointed out. "We may have found our means of shelter for the night, let us continue on."

Faith Alexis

"If you don't mind though, I'd like to travel above in case there’s a ambush are something like that."

The blonde tilted her head lightly at such a odd statement and idea, however a smile curled in a amusement upon her lips and her eyes shone with a smug but respective glittter. Faith ran a soft hand through his snow white hair before ruffling it as though he was a child. "Alright then, you do that spider monkey..." The warrior woman laughed, her pupils following Darius into the tree tops before turning her attention back to the road ahead.

"We may have found our means of shelter for the night, let us continue on."

Being honest, Faith was both mentally and physically exhausted and seeing what was there place of shelter for the night made her eyes spark up with happiness. The girl ran forward, the first time of truly showing off her amazing speed. Blink and you would have missed the blur that proved she actually moved and did not teleport or leap. "Come on guys...Hurry up" The girl commanded, waiting at the doorway.

Her boots tapped at the ground impatiently, suttle tuts clicking with her tongue.

Number Two
Number Two had her hand stuck between the malfunctioning chomping daggers, sparks flying off her arm as she placed her real arm in between the blades to mess with the core sphere skeleton of the probe. In minutes she was done and pulling her real arm, as well as her artificial arm but it came with some groaning and screeching sounds. The probe made some clicking noises as it rose into the air, above Number Two, even when she stood. The ocean blue orb in the middle of the spinning teeth stared at her, as it counterparts began to rotate around it's eyes which was just three other round dots that held the amount of energy it needed to move, and do things. The probe made some other clicks and snapping sounds and then bounced in the air before floating down the hallway and around the corner. Number Two was used to the probe's way of saying thank you and your welcome.

Two watched the other Necos mozey about on their business. They all had people to kill, people to protect, and others to slaughter. Her thoughts drifted until her personal AI, Tomo, spoke. "Sarafina, Ember Wolfe's armor AI has contacted me. S-E16 needs severe medical attentions. Area of the wound is unknown, but it is causing some... Malfunction, most likely her inplants." Two nodded as she pulled the hood of her black cloak on....

... Number Two was walking through the now dark forest, her lips pressed tightly together as she made her way on the already trampled grass. It grabbed her attention but not enough to chase her away only type in some words in her lit up keyboard inside her wrist. Tomo spoke, "You want to know what's happened here? Well some scans could do, but it's dark and you forgot to put in some ultra-night vision scans, so I'm as helpless and curious as you." She made an eye roll, AI don't get curious, unless they're smart AI's like Tomo. She continued to walk until she paused by a dark splotch on the ground. Two knelt and touched the ground with her metal hand, and unexpectantly her circular hologram lit up and then.. "Darius' blood. He must be wounded." Tomo replied and Number Two made a sound at the back of her throat before she was running through the dark following the series of blood fallen. Until she saw a barn place and there was Darius with another female, and another Male.

Number Two went into a crouch. Tomo spoke up, "Darius, be a dear and give us the all clear sign if your friends are frienndly." Darius's head perked up and he looked at them a for a moment and pulled his hand up with three fingers held up. His pinkie and thumber held down. Number Two made her way toward them, while giving fearful glances at Faith and Aleph.

Upon closer glance, Aleph noticed that this house had similar qualities to his old abode. When he lived in a house, he lived away from cities and civilization for the longest time, so that distractions came at a minimum and his training received his full attention, not some 'friend'. Though it made his first interaction with other people (at the age of twelve) quite difficult, he eventually overcame that obstacle and it only made him stronger. In this day and age, on a planet corrupted with war, people succumbing to starvation and hostility, he could only be thankful for it. He wouldn't have made it this far if he was slacking in combat prowress.

With Faith (and Darius soonafter) there and ready to enter, he smiled as he glanced at the house. "Buildings further away from civilization are often made with master carpentry." he told them, glancing approvingly over the abode that was to become theirs now. It was old and it looked worn from the strain of life on this world, but it still looked sturdy and didn't give off the feeling that it would collapse on their heads while they slept. He wasn't sure about the others, but that was a good thing in his book.

Life was better without a roof crushing the life out of you.

Before he opened the door and much before he could get on the floor and walk the dinosaur, Banton turned to face a voice that did not sound like Faith, and sounded much too robotic to be Darius'. He noticed a younger, blue-haired girl with what seemed to a be an odd-looking arm approaching them, and by the context of what she had asked, Darius knew her too. As she approached them, Aleph took instant notice of the fear in her eyes. He wasn't sure what it was, but she was definitely not a courageous - and stupid - threat - at least not yet. He offered a small, welcoming smile at the girl before turning to Darius. "You are acquainted with this woman?" he asked.

The groan of a wall startled the blonde, and so she sharply moved into a defensive stance. It only took her a second for her to realize that and that Darius had nearly injured himself a few of the. However the snow haired male landed upon his feet perfectly. "You alright cat boy?" Faith questioned, even though he clearly was. Maybe she was just taking the chance to call him a odd nickname.

"Darius, be a dear and give us the all clear sign if your friends are friendly."

A robotic voice sounded around the barn. The woman turned to find the owner, surprisingly a rather adorable looking blue haired girl. Her arm was metal and rather creepily contrasting to the rest of her body. Though she did not look aggressive, Faith still stood on guard. "I would not say we are friendly, but if you aren’t here for our guts, we aren’t here for yours..." She smiled, relaxing at the sight of a fearful expression upon her youthful face.

Faith fell onto a pile of hay, her skinny body like a rag doll. She slowly closed her eyes and exhaled; the day sure had been a long one. "It feels amazing to lie down," She quietly spoke before glancing around the barn again. The blonde found her pupils latching onto Aleph, a automatic smirk forming upon her lips.

The fear in this young lady's eyes had increased dramatically and she had collapsed to the ground, on her knees. Surprisingly, Aleph did not like the sight of a woman on her knees and he frowned as the girl's fear had overtaken her for a moment. However, because it wasn't Aleph's friend, but Darius', he allowed Darius to comfort and assure the woman. It made a lot more sense for him to. After all, Darius 'owned' her, and Alpeh owned Faith.

"Owned" meaning they had owned the right to be friendly with their respective woman. He wasn't sure completely, but Aleph figured Faith was only a woman and that she must have really admired Darius' looks, which is why she had those moments where she seemed sad or happy when Darius was around or gone. This made him wonder if he was attractive enough to warrant such feelings..... was he? He couldn't decide whether or not before he was brought back from thought by the small, nulled feeling of being poke through his armor.

Aleph looked down at the small girl, an eyebrow raised at her actions. Was she not just scared a moment ago? Whatever. "Salutations, Tomo." he greeted the A.I while watching the girl have her way with his armor as he simply stood their. He wasn't sure if moving would frighten her or what, so he simply remained still. It didn't affect his armor in the least that she poked it. Many blades have done that and failed at the attempt - a finger wouldn't cut it. He felt pretty awkward though. "If you wish to keep your reasons a secret, then so be it." he said, in reference to her mute disposition only, he would definitely not keep their intentions here a secret. At least he wouldn't and then simply trust them. Anyone out here was and could easily be an enemy. Rare is it that a clutz could live out here in this world. As he looked down upon the glowing-blue dog, he sighed. "I am not one to favor fancy technology over effective steel, but if I recall right, Artificial Intelligence usually take the false form of a human being, am I not correct? You appear to be... a dog."

Faith Alexis

To Faiths surprise, the blue haired female sank to her knees out of pure fear. She glared at the warrior female as though she had just slaughtered Darius right there that moment, her hands crimson with her unforgivable crimes. The blonde sat up but said nothing, actually feeling a little uneasy around the sensitive little girl.

"No one here is going to hurt and If they do, they won't be alive for another minute."

"Oh really Darius? Would you kill me?" The woman hissed, slightly ticked off at his comment maybe grabbing the wrong end of the stick. "I am not going to touch her. Happy?"

"Sorry for the improper introductions. I am Tomo and my creator is Number Two. She doesn't talk. Don't ask and if I may, what is your name?"

How interesting...
The blonde found herself mesmerized by Number two, she wanted to throw questions at her like there was no tomorrow. Could she speak and just chose not to? What was she to Darius? And how did she get such beautiful hair?! However this Tomo character asked not to, and she would obey for the time being, after all with the responses she first got Faith felt a little unwelcome in her presence.

Then she began jabbing her fingers at Aleph armour. This really annoyed her for some reason, a dull feeling of anger pulsed through her veins. However the brunette did not seemed to mind her actions too much. Maybe Faith's jealousy was because Aleph seemed to type to fall for women easily, and maybe a little silent cute aqua haired girl was a lot more appealing than her own cold self. She paused thinking again. What would it matter anyway? Who am I to say anything? It is me who is the bad person here. ME who is toying around with men... The blondes face fell. She truly did feel like this.

The small figure of the great dane danced upon her hand, before Tomo became a little disheartened at Alephs comments. "He has...emotions?" Faith questioned, blinking a few times with wide curious eyes.

Then number two began to work upon Darius's wounds, which required baring his stomach. If Faith could curl her lips into a cat smile, now would be the time she would have done so. He was perfectly funny and polite with a extremely individual appearance that captivated her, to top it all off his body was great. There was no way she could drag her emotions away from him.

Number two was someone who seemed to be a great help with things such as healing, but she did not look to be a fighter. She would either be extremely useful or just another mouth to feed.

There was a small frown playing across Aleph's lips at the sound of her story, him being obviously displeased with what she had suffered. Such a cruel and unforgiving world this was, and age didn't grant immunity to the horrors of it. It seemed that Faith wasn't speaking up, so he decided to speak up first.

"I'm afraid this battle-hardened man only has death on his hands." he began. "As with the other Bantons, I trained at a small age for the sake of glory in the battlefield. Not the most interesting tale, I'm afraid. About the most interesting thing about myself is that I was forced into felling my own sibling after he had accidentally murdered my father instead of myself." he told. "But death is the will of the land, and something we all must grow accustomed to."

"My apologies if I bored any of you."

As the younger Neco jumped and latched onto his back, Aleph stood still. His armor made him a bit too heavy to move without some real weight behind whatever was trying to move him. He wasn't sure how he felt about having her on his back, so he simply smiled. "Must you all be so young? I'm the elder of this group, I believe." he looked at Darius. "Of what age did you say yo--"

Cut off by the silent bickering between the 'siblings' he simply watched, confused as to what they were doing or saying. It then confused him more when Number Two decided to take her leave, with Darius shortly behind her. Just before the man left, he said something.

"Future plans and arrangements...?" he repeated slowly and quietly to himself. "Kinda hard to have future arrangements when the bitch is on my back"

Remembering he still had a girl on his back, he turned his head a bit. "Am I the sole individual confused, or is this mutual?"

Faith Alexis

"You did say you're 19 years old?"

The blonde glanced over at Darius, a small smile curling on her lips. "Hm? Yeah..." She replied, tilting her head slightly in wonder at what exactly he was getting at. The waterfall and the blizzard then began furiously conversing through hand gestures that she could not read. The warm anger leaked through into their facial expressions. Faith truly did not know what to say, and so remained silent. The fact she had no idea of their speech ticked her off greatly, but maybe it was better that way.

"I'm afraid this little Party of three will not be growing to a number of four."
"What!?" Faith really did not understand one bit, and so just blinked at the pair "talking". "My sister has a problem with my future plans and arrangements..."

Faith fell from Alephs back and sprinted to the doorway, expression cold and rather upset; a kind of weak and submissive look upon the female’s face which looked rather foreign. "Don't leave me...again..." She pleaded, but of course they had already headed out. She sank to her knees, and just sat their upon this ground, thinking the situation over in her mind and trying to work out what had got young Two and her dear contrasting irised boy so worked up. Faith could not find any reasoning.

"Am I the sole individual confused, or is this mutual?"

The warrior girl looked over at the brunette standing behind her and just let out a half hearted sigh. "I really don't think the word confused fits it well enough..." She hissed awkwardly running her hands through her hair. "You know this search for happiness I am on is not quite as peaceful as once expected...."

"So what now.."

Although he didn't mind it, it was still good to have the little extra weight off of his shoulders. The armor was heavy enough, and he had been wearing it the whole entire day without exception, so it was getting to him. Normally he would have it off of his body by now, but he did remember that he would be essentially naked and bare, save for a small bit of cloth protecting his groin from the world's eye......and Faith's. It would be kinda....awkward, he felt, if he simply discarded his armor like that right away. He needed to find someway that he could have a bit of privacy.

"I believe there is not much we are capable of at the moment, Faith. The darkness is a shroud which hides him, and a shroud with which he seems familiar and comfortable in. Chasing that man down in it would be foolish, and he is likely to return for whatever reason. After all, he had done it before, did he not?" Aleph smiled warmly to the young woman. "For now, we would be wiser to make use of this time to rest, since we are unable to continue any further today.

He paused for a moment. "We should.... find places to rest..."

The blonde warrior woman managed to drag her eyes away from the white speck is the distance that was in fact Darius. She got to her feet, sighing lightly and swallowing the harsh lump in her throat. "I'll never understand that man, but you are right. He will be back, I just know it..." Having one of her two lovers jump in and out of her life was extremely painful. Faith wondered if he was okay, for the expression on his face when he left was anything other than happiness.

The youth was extremely grateful Aleph had stayed by her side all this time, though this company was something she was not used to, she enjoyed it. The pair began to walked at a good pace, once again Faith charging ahead with out not really noticing her speed.

"Come on, where are we going? Back to the barn or elsewhere?"
