Description

Image
Name:
Emiliana De Bella Monte

Age:
Appears as if she is 16; In reality, she is somewhere over 400 years of age

Gender:
Female

Orientation:
Straight

Race:
Vampire

Physical Appearance:
Emiliana was graced with a lovely appearance. She has long black hair that cascades down her back in ringlets. Her skin is fair, and creamy white. Her eyes are a bright blue color, with speckles of grey inside. Her face is a beautiful oval shape, with high cheekbones, and a full, bright smile. Her lips are soft, with a light cherry color to them, and her eyelashes are full. She has a womanly body, with all the right curves in all the right places; a perfect hourglass figure, though she is somewhat short, standing at only 5'1''. Her hands are small and dainty, and her feet are that of a dancers. She walks with a grace that most do not have, and dances with one that most have not even seen. To say that she is beautiful is quite the understatement...

Personality:
Emiliana is a quite, kind beauty. She thinks of others before herself, and always seems to have a small smile on her face. She has a certain way about her that can bring anyone in the room to a calm silence. But when she gets brought to a deep sadness, she must be left alone to cope with it herself. She does not like sharing her secrets, mainly because she doesn't truly know all of them herself. The Vampire in her can be a bit harsh, though she tries to hide it her best.

History:
Emiliana was born on January 25th, 1572, in the French city of Paris to a wealthy Protestant family by the last name of De Bella Monte. She was an only child, but should not have been. Her full name would have been left at just Emili, if it had not been for the fact that she was supposed to have a twin. Sadly, the twin died at birth. In memory of her sister, her parents decided to name her Emiliana, a combination what both girls names would have been (Emili and Ana).

The same year of her birth, Catherine de Medici ordered the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre of hundreds of Protestants in Paris. Her family escaped to their French countryside home, where they resided until 1589 - the year that Henri IV became the first Bourbon King of France. That same year - the year of Emiliana's 17th birthday, they moved back to their Paris home, safe from persecution for not being Catholics.

Emiliana's childhood was a spoiled one, because she was an only child. She was given all the finest things, but she never quite showed that fact, though she acted as a proper lady of the times. She was a quite child though, and did not make many friends her own age. But her parents friends and guests would compliment them always on how proper she was. Because of this, her parents decided it best to hire a tutor to teach her all she would need to know as a young lady, just to "improve" upon the child they loved.

As she grew older, she developed a sort of "6th sense", if you will. She could be seen giggling about something when no one had mentioned anything, talking to someone who couldn't be seen by anyone other than herself, and staring off endlessly at no one at all. As she aged, she hid whatever it was that she saw, making her parents believe that she had just been talking to an imaginary friend when she was younger...

She took an interest in dance at a young age though, putting her studies off to pursue it. Her father did not approve, but her mother accepted, so the lessons continued. Her dream was to pursue ballet into the theater, and she planned on becoming a world famous ballerina, though she would never tell her parents of this.

Three weeks before her 18th birthday, she disappeared from home. No message of ransom was found; no note from her either. Search parties were hired, but none could come up with a trace of her. Her family was distraught, but the search for her stopped on their only child's 18th birthday.

Her mother died a month and a half later. Some said she died because of her broken heart. Her father lived only a couple of years longer, before he too passed.

There were no heirs to the De Bella Monte fortune, so the money was dispersed on Mr. De Bella Monte's side of the family, and to local theaters, and orphanages (It was stated in the family will to do so, in honor of their daughter who loved to dance, and their other child who they never got to know). The house was put up for auction, and bought by a family with the last name Bontecou...

*************************************

There was a girl named Antoinette, who was born July 17th, 1849, to the wealthy Bontecou family. They resided in the French countryside, not far from where the De Bella Monte's country house sat, now in ruin. Her parents both died mysterious deaths when she was only 5 years old, so she was sent to live with her fathers widowed sister.

Her aunt lived in what was once the De Bella Monte mansion, but had been bought up over 300 years ago by her family. As the times had changed and the years had turned to centuries, the old house name was forgotten, and the new one had taken its place.

Antoinette's aunt was a lonely woman; no children, no husband. She took care of Antoinette like she was her own, and Antoinette loved her as such. She lived a good life in the care of her aunt, always fee to do as she pleased, but never did more than her aunt would want her to.

On Antoinette's 17th birthday, a visitor showed up on the front lawn of the mansion. She was clad in nothing but a cloak, and some rags of what once used to be a beautifully stunning gown. She was a quiet girl, with long black hair that cascaded down her back in ringlets. Her aunt ushered the girl in, and because the teen could not remember where her family was, but felt like this house was familiar to her, Antoinette's aunt decided to let the girl stay. When asked about it by Antoinette, her aunt simply replied "she has no where else to go. I did not turn you out, and I shall not do that to her."

The girls name was Emiliana De Bella Monte, as was later found out by Antoinette.

The two grew to like each other very much. Emiliana was shy, and tended to keep more to herself, but as the year went on, the two girls became almost inseparable. If one went somewhere, the other followed. The Bontecou family sort of adopted Emiliana into their family, feeling as though she was worthy enough to live among them. She loved them more than anything...

Once a month, Emiliana would mysteriously disappear in the afternoon from the home, and would not return until the following morning. No one knew where she went, and they did not question it either. Once, and only once, when she was pressed about it, she responded eerily with "I must find a place to think... a place where I can be alone..."

Antoinette loved Emiliana like a sister, but thought it was strange how she would talk to no one at all sometimes, how she would stare off endlessly at nothing, how she would giggle at something when no one else was in the room... But she let it slide, for the girl had also lost her parents (Antoinette had assumed this). She knew the feeling...

Antoinette began to learn dance from Emiliana, of which her aunt was thrilled. She had always felt that she should be able to express herself, so she had a small dance room built in a spare room on the third floor of the mansion. Emiliana would never enter the room, but she would watch always from the doorway, to make sure Antoinette's form was right.

Of course, Emiliana did not plan on telling Antoinette who, or rather what, she really was. And so, not more than four years after originally meeting her, Emiliana left the Bontecou mansion without so much as a word. She did leave a letter behind, explaining the reasons for her departure. She figured Antoinette had become suspect of her never aging looks. It was, of course, the best course of action.

The girls would never speak or meet again. It was the hardest thing that Emiliana had ever done.

And so, since then, the girl has wandered the world. Avoiding the council as best as she can, and trying to stay off of the radars. But her name is known throughout the history books, though one must really look to find it.

As of recent, she's decided to let her aging process begin, which she has the power to control. She figures that its best to move on now that she's become so "old". So she's decided to enroll herself in high school and pretend, as best she can, that she's normal. She of course, knows that she isn't. And as her boyfriend found out, she isn't anything near normal.

The girl is well versed, and smart. She's pretty and caring. Though, the worst part is, that now she's about to find out that she's pregnant. And all because of a human, no less. She knows the consequences if she's found out, so she's terrified. Both for herself, the baby, and the father of the baby...

IMPORTANT NOTES:
When Emiliana mysteriously disappeared, she had been bitten by a Vampire and taken off to travel with him across the world. On these travels, her "teacher" made a wrong move, and accidentally alerted some Vampire hunters to his location during one of his feedings. The two fled back to Paris. Moving on from there, her "teacher" was killed by one of the Hunters. Luckily, he took him with him. Emiliana escaped... She wandered for a while throughout Europe, trying to find her way back to the only place she could truly call a home; the De Bella Monte mansion (which was, now, the Bontecou mansion). She made it there, and lived with the family. Every month when she would wander off, she would wander to the outskirts of town, and kill off a beggar, or someone who wouldn't be missed, so she could feed. Eventually, she knew she would need to move on, and from there, she wandered the world for about another 100+ years before she finally settled down again.

So begins...
