"Blimey, what the hell is that smell... That can't be me, can it?"
Fears: Spiders, ants, moths, bugs in general really. He also has a strange fear for those little Russian dolls that have dolls within them. That's one story he is not going to tell. He is also deathly afraid of rats.
Likes:Gambling, drinking, starting fights, women, adrenaline rushes, winning fights, losing fights, and money. He most certainly loves money.
Dislikes: The morning after, the rich, criminals, Russians, Germans, French(will tolerate though)
Personality: Vin is what you would call a classic dare devil. He always has to have an adrenaline rush going or he will be bored out of his mind. He got into a fight with a bigger man, just because he wanted to see how long he could go before he was defeated. He lasted a full 5 minutes before his lights were punched out. When he isn't trying to kill himself, he is often very kind and helpful to the ones around him. Though when he does try and help people, Vin tries to take it to the next level and often gets hurt in the process. He feels that he isn't the best at what he does, though Vin does feel that he is pretty damn good at what he does best, taking a punch and throwing one right back. Due to this view, Vincent is humble about his ability with his combat expertise. He feels that if he says enough then people would start targeting him to see how good he really is. More often than not the other guy is usually bigger and can hit a hell of a lot harder than Vin can throw. Vincent will come out and say if he likes you or not... Again to the face bashing.
Specialty: Vincent can stand more punches than the average human being. Though with this, Vin can also withstand more punishment from other weapons and such. Though a bullet to the head is still a bullet to the head, and there isn't shaking that off in the morning.
Other Strengths: Vin can also operate a sword pretty handy, though he is an amateur at best. He can only swing the blasted thing and he knows a few defensive moves, other than that he's pretty useless with it. Vincent can also operate a gun good enough, it isn't his first choice in a weapon, though it would do well enough. He often uses brawn more than brain, so he can easily be trick and talked into doing things.
Weaknesses: I'm going straight to heart of the matter here. Vin is illiterate. Due to this fact. Vin can be told anything and he would have to take their word for it. Due to this, it makes him an extreme liability. It means he would have to be read the contracts and that means he couldn't be trusted.
Weapons: Vincent keeps a slew of weapons on his person at all times. His first and most used weapon would be the knuckle dusters he won off of some American when the poor sod couldn't pay his debt. Vin thought the trade was fair, he got a weapon, and the American got to see his family again. It works. His secondary weapon if stealth is more important, a knife he took off of a Russian body. The bugger almost killed him. So out of respect, Vin took his knife. His last resort weapon is his Colt Single Action pistol. That is an interesting story. Though you might need to buy Vincent a drink before he tells you the story.
Vincent was born in the slums of downtown London. He never knew his real father. The reason being his mother was a prostitute that worked regularly. So, even she is unsure who the father is. Vin hated seeing his mother 'working' every night in order for them to survive. When he was 6 he started to pick pocket, pan handle, rob even. Vincent though he was doing his mother a favor to bring in money for the both of them. Though when his mother found out where he had gotten the money, Vin had some hell to pay. He couldn't walk straight for the next couple of days.
As Vin got older he started thinking about a more legitimate way of earning money, a way that his mother couldn't beat him for it. He was walking down the streets Vincent saw a group of men huddling around in a semi circle. He asked what they were playing, they said dice. When he saw money exchange hands, Vin knew that he had found the way to get money. Vincent started gambling whenever he could. Sometimes he would win, other times he would lose. Vincent knew that he was losing more often than he was winning. He needed another way of earning money.
Vincent discovered fight clubs, you payed a flat fee and you fight another fighter. If you won, you got your money back and then his money too. Vin thought this was a sure deal. He soon was fighting all the time, coming home with black eyes, bruised ribs, and almost always limping home. His mother was worried sick about him. His half sister had to take care of him when his wounds were too much to handle. His mother put a stop to the fight clubs almost a month after he began fighting in them.
Finally when Vincent turned 16 he joined the military. Basic training whipped him into shape, gave him discipline, and gave him the brothers he always wanted. In the military, Vin found out what the world was like. He stayed in the military for 8 years before he got discharged for running fight clubs. When he got out of the service, Vincent had no idea what to do with himself. He found out his mother died of an STD and his sister moved out of the country and was in America. He had no one left. Vincent went back to the fight clubs, the gambling and turned to drinking. He was contacted by a Brooks higher up two years after he was discharged. He had a reputation for helping those less fortunate than him and of course his fists.
His first meeting with the higher up was kinda humorous after it was said and done. Vincent was playing cards, he had a full house and the man had a straight flush. Some words were said and they move their little spat outside. Vincent was able to hold off the man's attacks for a while, he was able to throw in a few of his own punches before he submitted to the other man. A few days later Vin saw the man again in the same bar sitting at exactly the same table. Vin sat down and started to play the game. The man waved off the others and offered him a place among the Brooks gang.
