Why be apart of the Lakeside Crew?: Well, he promised to join them so he did. Besides, he likes money. What other way to get money faster than to join Lakeside?
Weapons: Twin pistols, though both are never used at the same time, and a switchblade. He also has a Kalashnikov, fully equipped with a silencer, strapped under the dashboard of his car, and a revolver inside the glove compartment.

What makes them so special?: He's got several connections back in Brazil. Connections that may prove valuable to the crew.
How did they come to be here?: Born to a very poor family in Rio de Janeiro, Diego was the youngest of seven. His Father, being the crack-addict that he was, decided to sell him to a black market adoption ring to make some quick cash. He was then adopted by a young American couple. They took him back to Wayfare and raised him properly and treated him as if he was their own son. Unfortunately, his foster parents were mugged and murdered by some Mayhem gangsters, leading the then fifteen year-old Diego to hunt them down. He succeeded of course, not only in avenging his parents, but also in impressing some of the members of the Lakeside crew. They told him to join them, and but Diego refused. Besides, he was still fifteen at the time and he wanted to go back to Brazil, but not without the promise of coming back and joining Lakeside once he got older. He did come back, ten years later, and brought with him a wife. Her name was Emilia but sadly, she died a couple of years ago while giving birth to their son, Joaquin.
What are they truly like?: Diego is a sarcastic, cynical, yet laid back character who loves to agitate people. But unlike some, he knows when to draw the line, and when to leave people alone. He can be talkative, but it's likely that all you'll ever talk about are cars and soccer. He ignores people rather often, particularly if they are younger, and often resorts to whistling abnormally loud or listening to heavy metal in an attempt to drown out the other person. His attitude often, in the perspective of other people, resembles one of an arrogant person, but in truth, whether or not people realize it, Diego actually listens and in some situations, actually cares. Diego's also very snappy. He gets angry for no reason whatsoever, only to put up a show. But if you really know him, then you'll know he's just doing it for kicks. When in comes to Joaquin, Diego immediately goes into dad mode. He loves his son very much, and would go great lengths just to make him happy.
