Kitoji raced towards the yelling guards, leaping the fence with ease, and hoped to God that their things were still there. If their jackets were gone, there would be hell to pay, because durable jackets like that one were dang hard to find, and they'd had them forever, so he and the others were vaguely attached.
It took only a few seconds to cross the gardens, and Tori did a superman-style leap through the window to the room they were renting. Kitoji scowled, and flung open the side door, running up the stairs to catch up, and burst into the room.
Everything was still there.
Kitoji sighed, relaxing.
"Great. Now what? Back to the docks?" He asked.
Tori shrugged, and jumped back out the window. Kitoji groaned, and whirled around to take the stairs three at a time back down, Domeniqui behind him. Hitting the open area of the gardens, both picked up speed and simply leaped over the hedges instead of going over to the gate, then took a running leap over the walls.
Only to find that girl from before right there on the other side.
Kitoji yelped, unconsciously clenching his hands on the fence in an effort to stop, and ended up flipping himself clean over, which broke the grip, and landed him flat on his back six feet below on hard cement, right next to the girl. He blinked at Domeniqui, whom had somehow managed to keep his balance, not that Kitoji was surprised, on top of the fence.
Kitoji looked at the girl.
"My friends and I really have to stop meeting you like this." He declared.
