Personality: Unlike her twin brother, Carter, Taylor is a blissfully optimistic person. Some people (such as Carter) often mistake her optimism for naivety. However, Taylor is actually a very perceptive, understanding person. Often times Taylor will say something provoking simply to watch a person’s reaction and body language. The reason behind it is that Taylor has studied the behaviors of multiple animals due to her main power; however, she has always found human behavior to be the most complex and interesting. She is a fun-loving, good-hearted person, and is often the girl that people hate to see hurt. She loves joking around, teasing people, and hates being serious even though she understands that she sometimes must be. Her playful, child-like attitude often gets her into trouble, but her mischievous and perceptive traits often help her wiggle out of trouble.
Powers:
~ Shifting: It does not come easy and is actually very dangerous. In order to shift, Taylor must first study the anatomy of the animal extensively. The first shift of a new form is always the most painful because it essentially breaks every bone in her body in order to rearrange them into the form of animal. Each shift into that form gets easier after that. However, there is always a possibility that a shift could go wrong and permanently change her. Though she has several scars from various tough shifts, she has never sustained any life-threatening injuries. Currently, Taylor has “mastered” three forms. Her first, most comfortable and most practiced form is a red fox. The second most practiced is a Persian lynx. The other is a Peregrine falcon. She is currently learning the anatomy of the grey wolf from Carter.
~ Communication: After the first shift into a new form, Taylor has the ability to understand and speak in the tongue of that animal.

History/Bio: Taylor and her twin brother were born to a mother who became – what their kind calls – savage soon after their birth. To a shifter, becoming savage means that you go into an animal form for so long that you forget your human form. Often times, a savage shifter will begin to take on the traits of their animal form. If they stay in that form for too long, the shifter may completely forget his or her human life. This is what happened to Taylor’s mother. Afraid that she would be unable to raise shifter twins, Taylor and Carter’s mother left in her most comfortable wolf form. She came back sometime later looking for help and Taylor’s father knew what had happened. He tried desperately to save her from losing her memory. However, his attempts were futile. She soon began to attack the children and Taylor’s father was forced to send her off into the woods. Taylor and Carter never saw their mother again, but were raised by their stern yet loving father. As they grew up, Taylor became a mischievous girl who seemed to be attached at the hip to her more rational, serious, best friend, Carter. While Taylor supplied the fun in their relationship, Carter supplied the logic and protection. The two became the perfect pair of best friends. Although, they can almost constantly be seen bantering and bickering, there is always a loving, playful undertone to it. Lately, both Taylor and Carter have been having trouble with their shifting. Their father learned of Keystone and decided to send them there in order to protect them from becoming savage like their mother, or possibly killing themselves.
